“Bolu is your girlfriend?” I asked dissappointed by his words.
“No, she was my girlfriend.” He replied tauntingly.
“Can’t you see am serious right now.” I said with a frown.
“Baby, am serious, of course I am, have told you to trust me.” He responded convincingly.
I drew back from him and walked back to the sit.
“If you are serious, tell me everything that’s there to know because I can’t stand being cheated on by any guy.” I said and he approached me.
“And, am I any guy? Am your boyfriend Tina” he said and caressed my hair while sitting beside me.
“Of course I know that’s why I want you to tell me everything, be sincere with me baby.” I replied pouting my lips cutely.
“Ok baby, just like I said bolu is no one, she was my girlfriend but we already broke up last year, Seyi just mentioned her because he doesn’t want us together.” He replied sincerely.
“Are you sure about that are you being honest with me?” I asked and he moved closer to me.
“Baby am being sincere to you trust me please.” He responded and gave me a quick kiss on the lips.
“Ok, I believe you, I trust you.” I replied and hugged him tight.
I really hope that’s the truth.

She hugged me tight which made me feel bad, she just wants an honest answer.
She just wants me to tell her the truth but would she believe it was never a choice.
I wasn’t planning for this, neither did I want this.
I never knew I would fall for her, but I did without considering the consequences.
How would she feel if she knows bolu is my fiancee in the state.
Damn! This is so fucked up, and it’s too late now, am in love with her but dad won’t want to hear my opinion of my love life.
But, I don’t care I love her and it’s her I want.
She disengaged from the hug and I couldn’t stop staring at those beautiful eyes.
Am really controlling myself, am really holding it in because I really love her and I want her.
But, is it too soon, what makes us lovers if we can’t even kiss each other.
I slowly reached for her face and her gaze followed the movement of my hands.
The atmosphere clearly shows the tension between us.
I couldn’t stop staring at her but the coward I am I couldn’t do it I slowly draw my hands back, thinking it’s too early.
But, she grabbed my hands and placed on her cheeks caressing it as she placed it on her shoulders with her face resting on it.
Now, the tension is now more than before I just want to have those lips on mine.
She’s so pretty, does she even want us to do this.
“Kiss me.” She said which surprised me and flutters my heart.
“Tina…. Are…” She placed her lips on mine which cuts me off.
“I love you.” She said with a broad smile. “I will be going now.” She said standing to leave.
She loves me, she really kissed me I just can’t let her go like that.

I held her hand and sat her down.
“I love you more.” I said and kissed her passionately. She kissed me back and we exchanged kisses roughly.
Lost in the joy and pleasure we were having I held her face tight kissing her strongly and she wrapped her hands around my neck.
I slowly engulfed my hands around her waist and she caressed my chest.
“Tina, I don’t care anymore.” I said to her and carried her upstairs.
I opened the door in a rush and lay her down on the bed.
“Wait” she gave a brief pause and then continued “don’t you think it’s too early?” She asked and I smiled back at her and caressed her hair with so much love.
“Does it really matter? What matters is that we love each other, right?” I asked and she nodded in agreement.
She bit my lower lips into her mouth and I kissed her back as our body moves in joy of the pleasure.
Afterwards I reached for her button as I unbutton each in anxiety.
Am gonna see her body, am really gonna see her naked.
But, unfortunately we heard a voice from behind us.
“What’s going on in here?” The husky voice said from behind and I realized who it was in an instant.
We turned back only to see my dad looking at us with his eyes filled with surprise.
“Daddy/sir” we both chorused.
Now, there’s trouble we have been caught in the act.

“What did you say?” I asked his words baffle me.
Feranmi can’t have a fiancee, he wouldn’t.
His father approved us yesterday, he wouldn’t have a fiancee.
“I said your boyfriend has a fiancee.” He replied which got me annoyed.
“That’s not true.” I yelled at him and he flinched. “Seyi, just leave me alone I can never date you, stop trying to separate me and Feranmi.” I added and he laughed.
“You really trust him and that would be the end of your relationship, let’s see how long you can hold on.” He frets and opened the door to leave.
He slowly opened the door which reveals feranmi’s face.
“Speaking of the devil, your filal boyfriend is here.” Seyi said.
“Feranmi.” I silently called and he looked at me with sympathy.
“Am sorry Tina but it’s the truth, am engaged to bolu but…”
“Wait…. What did you just say, tell me it’s not true.” I shake my hands trying to get my thoughts in place.
“It’s the truth.” Seyi interupted and Feranmi land him a punch in his face.
“Leave us alone, stay out of our life please.” Feranmi squealed and Seyi ignore him by laughing it off.
“Do you believe me now?” Seyi said and wiped his face off and left.
All the while I couldn’t believe everything feranmi said.
How could he betray my love for him.
What have I done to deserve that from him.
“Tina..” he reached for me but I stepped back boiling in anger.
“You said you love me.” I said weeping.
“I do, I was just scared to tell you, I thought dad might not approve of us.” He said in a convincing tone.
But, I believe none of is words not anymore.
“I think we should take a break for now.” I suggested. His looks definitely shows his discomfort by my words.
“No, no, no, please no break up, I love you don’t hurt me like this.” He replied which melts my heart.
Even if he’s saying the truth, it’s too late, he lied to me when I trusted him so much.
“Am not saying a break up, just leave me alone for a while…” He quickly hugged me which stopped me from talking.
“Tina, please am sorry I was a fool I should have told you.” My head’s on his chest, I could loudly hear his heart beat.
How fast it race for me, I pushed him away and slapped his face.
“I love you, how come I love you so much.” I said crying and he pulled me closer to him hugging me tight.
“I love you more.” He responded and caressed my hair.
“If you love me, just give me that break I asked for, just let me get my thought together.” I insisted which makes us disengaged from the hug.
“Tina… Please I don’t want this please don’t do this.” He pleaded but I turned deaf ears to his pleas.
“Feranmi, don’t force me to do what I don’t want to do, just go, I said and ran inside.” He really hurts my love for him, I just need time to heal.
For the rest of the day, I hurled up in my room thinking about Seyi’s word.

I ignored his calls for that day, I know this is for the best.

The next day I prepared for school in my highwaist pants and a tank top with my jacket.
A white sneakers to team everything up, I boarded a cab to school and surprisingly I met feranmi waiting for me at the class entrance
“Tina.” He called but I ignored him and strutted into the lecture room.
I sat on my seat and bring out my earphones listening to “I hate you, I love you” by g-nash.
“Hey poor rat…” Abigail tapped me which astonished me.
“Who are you calling poor rat.” I questioned her and she laughs hysterically.
“I actually thought it was true, I thought you were actually rich.” She replied and slammed some pictures on my table.
“What’s this?” I asked.
“Why don’t you look at it.” She said.
I picked it up and checked it.
Surprisingly it was my picture, where I live and my former work place.
“How did you get this?” I asked and she returned a slap on my face.
“You poor filthy slave.” She said which pissed me off I stood up and returned the slap back on her face.
I looked around and everyone we’re looking at me irritated as if I don’t belong here.
“It’s not my fault that am poor.” I shouted and Abigail slapped me back.
“You don’t belong here, how dare you slap me! How dare you act as if you are so might.” She said with no remorse.
I won’t cry even if the words were too much.
I won’t show them my weak side, but I needed some saving.
I looked around but none came, seyi sat in a distance looking at us.
Feranmi at the entrance doing the same.
“Fuck you all.” I cursed and pick my bag.
I got to the entrance to leave but feranmi stopped me with his legs on the way.
“The Tina I know dosen’t quit.” He held my wrist and dragged me back to Abigail.
“What’s wrong at being poor.” He challenged Abigail and she gave him a bitchy look.
“Was it her fault for being poor?” He yelled and she flinched.
What is feranmi trying to do?
He is defending me?
“You also know the rules of this school no poor…”
“Then I will be the one to break it down.” He interrupted Abigail.
“Feranmi.” I said surprised by every of his actions.
“I love you baby.” He replied and kissed me.
Abigail and other gasped by the scene that just unfold.
Am sure they are all probably shocked that we are dating.
I pulled him closer and responded to the kiss as it tightened hard on our lips.
We disengaged from the hug and he tucked my hair’s behind.
“I love you Tina, please stop doubting my love.” He said sincerely.
“Am sor….” He placed his hands on my lips stopping from talking.
“I want you all to know, Tina is my girlfriend and I love her.” He bursted the truth and they all clamour.
It was then I realized his true love.
He loves me and I love him.
