I smiled as I walked into Lili’s room. She was reading her short story books as while waiting for Brianna.

And yes. Brianna is coming over today, it was supposed to be tomorrow but I’ll be busy by then.

“Good afternoon, my Angel”.

“Daddy!!”. She called excitedly rushing to hug me.

I laughed heartily and pulled her into a very warm hug as I pecked her cheeks lightly.

“What is my Angel doing?”. I asked pulling away.

“I’m selecting my story books”.

“And why?”.

“I want Brianna to read them to me when she comes over”.

“Baby, you know she’s only coming here to hang out not to read you bedtime stories?”.

“But Daddy”. She whined. “You can make here stay forever”.

“She has a house, Lili. She can’t stay here forever”.

“How about this night?”. She pouted. “Can she stay for this night? Please, Daddy”.

I sighed softly. “I’ll ask her about it when she comes, baby”.

“Yes!!”. She giggled. “Thank you, Daddy”.

I crouched in front of her. “Daddy loves you so much, okay? Don’t forget that”.

“I love you too”.

I smiled and pecked her cheeks before she ran back to her bed flopping on it. I glance at her before leaving the room.

I walked through the hallways and went down the stairs hurriedly to meet up with my friends. Lucas and Nick.

“Hey Nick”. I snickered when I see him sit down. “How’s the bump on your head?”.

He frowned at me. “Its not funny, Liam”.

“Oh yes it is”. Lucas added. “And whats funner is that it was a girl who did that”.

I bursted into laughter. “Seriously? Nick, a girl landed you in the hospital”.

“Stop it”. He snapped at both of us.

I sat on a random couch. “But hey, at least you learnt your lesson, next time, you don’t go around playing with a girl’s feelings”.

“I didn’t mean to hurt Brianna, okay? Just that, i was horny, man, what do you really expect?”.

I paused as he mentioned that name. Can it be the same Brianna that I’m developing for? Nah, it can’t be.

“Hey. Liam, you listening?”. Nick snapped me out of my thoughts.

I jerked back to reality. “Huh? What were you saying?”.

“You weren’t listening, you got any stuffs on your mind?”.

I shook my head. “No, I’m fine, nothing’s wrong”.

“You sure?”. Lucas faced me. “Is it Lili?”.

“No, Lili is happy, nothing can possibly go wrong with my daughter”.

“Oh then its Brianna”. Lucas continued as he teased me.

“Shut up”.

Nick looked at me. “Brianna? Who’s she?”.

“Apparently, Liam’s new love interest”.

I rolled my eyes. “Just because we had a night together doesn’t mean she’s my new love interest”.

“Oh really? Then how do you explain her coming over today?”.

I shrugged. “Lili wants to spend time with her, thats all”.

“Wait, Lili wants to spend time with some girl named Brianna?”. Nick asked. “But she rarely associates”.

“I guess its because Brianna is gentle at heart”.

“Unlike her best friend”. I added.

Lucas laughed. “Miss Crazy, Chloe”.

I noticed Nick flinched a little at hearing the name. Whats up with him now? Maybe the bump on his head is affecting him …

“But Dude, you are dating Lauren”. Nick reminded me.

I gr0-ned slightly. “Lucas, help me out here on this one”.

“Lets all face the fact that Lauren is a bitch and doesn’t deserve Liam”.

“But she’s his girlfriend”. Nick continued.

“Really?”. I sat up facing him. “The same girl that you slept with?”.

“Hey!! She had s-duced me”. He defended himself.

“Whatever, Nick. I don’t care about Lauren and you know that”.

“But you are going to hurt her feelings if she finds out you are into another girl”.

“Firstly, Lauren doesn’t love me. She loves my money, my looks and all that and then again, I’m only dating her so solidify my shares in her father’s company”. I told him.

“Liam is right”. Lucas supported me. “That Lauren only just wants to date him for his money and nothing else”.

“She’s always acting so cheap”. I scrunch my face in disgust. “And she expects me to introduce my daughter to her? No way”.

“Wow, i never knew you didn’t like her”.

“Don’t get me wrong, Nick. I used to like her not until I found out that she goes after anything with the money and looks”.

Almost, immediately, a maid came in and bowed in respect.

“Yes?”.

“Sir, there’s a lady requesting to see you”.

I arched my eyebrows. “A lady? I guess its probably Brianna so let her”.

“So it was true”.

I looked up hearing that voice to see her come in.

I stood up immediately. “Lauren, what are you doing in my house?”.

“Really? Liam, I’m your girlfriend but still you are going after another slut”.

“Don’t you dare call Brianna a slut”. I warned her.

She let out a scoff. “She’s a slut and I know her more than you do because she’s my step sister”.

“What?!!”.

“I hate to admit it but Brianna is my step sister and its shameful to see you cheated on me with her”.

I flopped back on the bed. “Oh Gosh!! I so wish I can turn back the hands of time”.

“Come on, Brie. Its not the end of the world yet”.

“You don’t understand, Chloe”.

“I do understand”. She faced me. “I know that you didn’t expect all this at all”.

“But I took the pills”. I said tearfully.

“Well they aren’t 100% trustworthy though so its not your fault”.

“Aargh!!”. I yelled in a pillow frustrated. “I don’t want this child at all”.

“Hey!!”. She protested. “Brie, you need to stop saying that”.

“But its true, i don’t think I’m ready for all of this and I know that Liam won’t be ready for it either”.

“Well we don’t know that yet, do we now?”.

“I should have just aborted it, it wouldn’t have taken time or stress”.

“Why do that to the poor thing? Brie, like I said, i won’t let you harm this child”.

“You know, Chloe, you always seem to amaze me all the time”. I tell her sitting up on the bed.

She arched her eyebrows. “Why?”.

“Well probably because the way you talked when I had those signs, it seemed like you were going to throw me out”.

She looked away from her laptop. “Why will I throw you out?”.

“I got pregnant and you warned me but still anyways, i don’t want to burden you”.

She sighed a little. “Brianna, what gave you the impression that I was going to throw you out?”.

“You gave me a fierce look in the hospital when the test results came out”.

“I was just only disappointed that what the doctor had said wasn’t true, it actually turn out to be pregnancy”.

“And I’m sorry”. I fiddled with my fingers. “I know you said you didn’t want any babies crawling around you earlier”.

“Brie, you are the only family I have, to me, it doesn’t matter if we are not related, you are still the sister I never had”.

“Thanks, Chloe. I appreciate you for your understanding”.

“You do know that you have to inform Liam about this, right?!!”.

“Yeah”. I nodded in response. “I know that too”.

“Okay. So when do you plan on telling him that you are carrying his child?”.

“Never”.

“Never?”.

“Never”. She repeated.

She stood up. “Brie, are you crazy?”.

“Its the best decision”.

“Oh really? You are gonna keep a man from knowing that he has a child?”.

“Chloe, we don’t really know if he wants another child or not”.

“I don’t care, its his responsibility”.

“He has a girlfriend, Chloe. And if Lauren gets to know that I’m pregnant for her own boyfriend then she might kill me”.

“Thats not happening”.

“I don’t think__”.

“I don’t care what you think”. She cut me off. “You are telling Liam about that child, do you get me?”.

I slowly stood up from the bed. “Okay. I’ll tell him about the pregnancy”.

“Good. You better not forget since you are going over to his place tomorrow”.

“Oh no. Its today”. I corrected her.

“Huh? I thought you mentioned Saturday?”.

“He said he had a function to attend to so I am going over to his place today instead”.

“Oh”.

“You’ll drop me off?”. I asked her.

“If you inform him about that pregnancy”.

“Maybe”.

“Brie, I’m serious here. He has the right to know”.

I grumbled lightly. “Okay fine, I promise to tell him”.

“Good. Now go take your bath so I can go drop you off on time and focus on my own work”.

I smiled a little and walked away from the bed going to the bathroom. I stepped in and glanced down at my tummy.

I closed my eyes and could envision a tiny baby in my arms. If this child ever arrives …

“You sure this is the place?”. Chloe asked as she parked the car.

“Come on, the guards just let us in and you are still asking?”.

“I’m just saying, this place is heaven”.

“He’s a billionaire after all”. I said wistfully.

She unlocked the car doors and I stepped out gazing at the high mansions. He must be really dripping in wealth.

I looked around then stopped s₱0tting a very familiar car. Whats it doing here?

“Umm, Chloe”. I called her attention.

She glanced at me. “Yeah?”.

“Isn’t that Lauren’s Porsche?”. I asked her to be sure.

“It seems like it and isn’t that your cheating ex boyfriend’s car? I recognized it from his garage when I went back to beat him up”.

I stared at it. That is Nick’s car but what is it doing here along with Lauren’s car? Are they both in,side right now? With Liam?
