I pulled up in the hospital garage and stepped out of the car. I walked towards the hospital entrance but to my surprise, I saw William walking out of the hospital with a guy I recognized following behind him.
He also stopped walking immediately he saw me.
What was he doing here? I thought as we both stared at each other.
Some seconds passed,
He looked away from my figure and walk away with the guy following behind him.
What was he doing here?
I watched him till he hoped into his car and drove out of the garage.
I shrugged and finally found my way into the hospital.

I walk into Zayn’s ward and my l-ips curved to a little smile. Flora and her mom were sitting very close to Zayn’s bed.
I must say Flora looks so happy as she stares directly at Zayn’s face, I’m glad though.
I cleared my throat to announce my presence and they both looked to my direction with a bright smile on their faces.
“Morning aunt” I greeted politely.
“Morning dear, how was your night?” She replied, sweetly.
I just nodded with a smile in response as I walked fully into the ward.
“I’m sure you dreamt about him the wh0le night?” I joke, sitting on the vacant seat next to Flora.
Her cheeks flushes.
“That’s a Yes!”
She laughs.
“You’re late” she says as she turned to me, her face has been replaced with a small frown.
“You’re here right beside him, so i am not really needed here, isn’t it?” I said nonchalantly.
Flora nudged my arm and I laugh together with her Mom.
“You really can’t change, can you?”
I just winked at her cute frown face and she rolled her eyes.
“My Dad just left here”
“I told you he will be here this morning right?” She reminded.
“Oh.. that’s no problem, I’ll surely meet him some other time” I told her.

“Have you gone to see the doctor?” Flora asked after a short silence.
“Yes.. I was actually coming from his office and guess what?”
“He said..
“Zayn will be conscious soon” Flora completed my words and we all laugh.
“I’m really eager to look into his eyes” Flora grins.
Her Mom and I just chuckle at her.

🍃Ryder POV🍃
I marched into the living room with rage; that a*sh0le isn’t picking his calls and I’m getting impatient already.
I mean I already promised mom that Flora is coming into this house tomorrow.
David is really gonna die.
“What’s it, son?” Mom’s voice jolted me out of my thoughts as I was about to make use of the stairs- I didn’t even see her sitting there.
“It’s nothing,Mom” I told her and made to climb the stairs again.
“I told Stella about it already” She said.
I retreated my steps and stood properly on a staircase and I watched her as she file her nails, smiling sheepishly to herself.
“You see Ryder, I’m just so happy you finally found Flora” she glance at my face.
“And after tomorrow, we’re planning the wedding preparations immediately” She said happily.
“I told you not to tell Aunt Stella about it, didn’t I?” I asked harshly.
“Yes, but..
“Then why did you let her know about it!” I yelled, hitting my fist on the rail.
She slowly stood on her feet with a hint of shock boldly written on her face.
“I clearly told you this was gonna be a surprise, didn’t I?” I yelled again.
F**k!
I let out a rueful breath and ascended the stairs, furiously.
I’m starting to regret I came back home already.
Mom will never listen to simple instruction- what if I couldn’t get Flora tomorrow?
Damn!
I need to act fast.
I need to do something.

👁️ Zayn POV 👁️
It’s pitch-dark, not even a tiny ray of light.
But I could hear people chatter happily.
Who are they?
And where am I?
I let my mind traveled to the previous incident and everything came replaying in my head.
“Let me out of the car before you drive yourself to death”
“We’re dieing together, Zayn”
“You think this is some sort of a joke?”
“Violet!!”
Geez!
I was involved in an accident.
F**k you Violet.
I struggled to open my eyes but they seems heavy.
Damn!
“Look Reid, he’s trying to open his eyes” I heard a feminine voice.
No, it was not just a feminine.
It’s a voice I recognized.
“Zayn, can you hear me?” Her voice came like she’s gonna cry soon.
It’s Flora’s voice.
My dear Flora.
I opened my eyes at once but the annoying bright lights shone into my eyes, causing me to shut them back.

I slowly squinted my eyes open but everywhere looks blur.
“Zayn” I heard Flora’s voice but it’s three faces that were staring down at me right now.
I presume one was Flora and the other is Reid, then who’s the third person?
I closed my eyes tightly and reopened them.
Yeah
It’s clear now.
“Can you see me?” She asked frantically as she waves her fingers to my face.
“Zayn, should we get the doctor?” Reid asks.
I just stare at Flora, pretending I was not hearing them.
“Zayn, can you hear us?” Flora pressed a hand to my cheek, and I watched as a tear drop from her eye.
“Do you really have to cry?” I shot her a small smile and I watch as her shoulder drops.
“Really?”
“Oh.. Man, that was really extreme” Reid rolled his eyes and sat down.
I just chuckled.
“Was just pulling your legs, guys” I told them.
Reid smiles and nodded but Flora wasn’t even looking at me anymore.
Oh.. she has taken that to heart?
“Flora” I cooed as I gently took her hand on the bed.
She turned her head to look at me and tears streamed down her cheeks at once.
Damn!
I tried to sit up.
“You can’t sit for now dear, I’ll go get the doctor” A woman said as she stood up and walked out.
Huh?
Who’s she?
“Do you want to hurt yourself?” Flora scolds as she held me down by my arm.
“Then stop crying”
I made her sit close to me on the bed.
“I’d thought I lost you” She wiped her tears.
I smiled.
“I ain’t going nowhere my love” I winked.
I watched as her cheeks turns red and I smile with so much fulfilment- I was so glad my words still has an effect on her.
Reid let out a discreet cough and I almost roll my eyes.
A*sh0le.
“How was the journey, buddy?” He asked as he moves his chair closer.
“The bandage on your head makes you look cuter though” I touched my head and there was truly a bandage on it.
Flora laughs and I glare at Reid.
“Stop glaring, will you?” He warns.
“I couldn’t sleep throughout the night, I was really worried about you” He says but I just watched him.
“You really won’t say anything?”
I turned to Flora, without saying a word to him.
“You should really go back to that long sleep” Reid mutters but audible for us to hear.
“You say what?” I asked with a deep voice.
“Nothing” he shrugs.
Fool.
“How’ve you been dear?” I asked Flora with a light smile.
“You don’t need to talk too much right now” She hushed me in a tender tone.
“k-ss me” I ordered.
Huh?
Her eyes dilated.
“If you want me to stop talking, then k-ss me” I repeated.
“We’re in the hospital Zayn” She says timidly, not looking at my face.
“But it’s a private ward, isn’t it?” I reminded.
She twisted her l-ips and slowly leaned down.
The door opens all of a sudden and Flora quickly sat up.
Damn!
Reid laughs and believe me, I felt like shooting him right now.
The doctor and the woman walks in- I still wonder who she was though.
The doctor smiled widely at me.
“I’m glad you’re okay, Mr Zayn” the doctor said,after checking my pulse.
I just glared at Reid who hasbeen smiling to himself since.
Seriously?
“And I’m happy to tell you that you would be discharge tomorrow”
“No, I’m leaving today”
“Mr Zayn, you can’t…
“I feel very good to go home now.. thanks” I cut him short and he breathe out before speaking up.
“If you insist then”
“And where the hell is Violet?”I grunted.
I lifted my head and saw everyone exchanging a look, including the Doc.
“Is anything the problem?” I asked them.
“Can he eat something now Doctor?” Flora asks, but i feel she’s trying to cover up the question.
“Sure ma’am, you can feed him well” The Doctor replied.
“Excuse me” The Doctor says and walk away.
I watched as Reid and Flora exchanged another look and I concluded they’re definitely hiding something from me.

And seriously, Ryder and his mom are just making me laugh o😂
