” You mean,,your parents are home? Like,,your house?” Kristen asked
” Yeah,what,are you nervous??” Nicholas asked
” Am I coming with you??”
” Are you kidding me? Of course,I am definitely sure they are there for no other reason than to ask me if I’ve gotten a girlfriend” Nicholas expressed with a smirk
” Okay am gonna be honest with you,,I am really nervous right now ” Kristen said
” Why? You think they are going to be against you or what? ” Nicholas asked
” Yea,,I don’t think I will be able to take that if they are against our relationsh¡p ”
” You’re making me mad right now,,stop thinking about what my parents thinks about you ”
” Are you sure? Am just so nervous right now,but am fine. Let’s go,,hey Jenna!! Iris!! Sorry but we are leaving” Kristen called them
” But why? We got here few minutes ago ” Jenna gro-ned
” Come on girl,get your cute face over here ” Kristen said
The two girls moved closer to them not looking pleased with the sudden situation.
” Come on,we can always come back to have fun. Don’t give me that face of yours ” Kristen said to Jenna and carried her

” Are you still nervous??” Nicholas asked Kristen as they got back to the mansion still in,side the car
” I don’t know” She muttered calmly
” Don’t be nervous,,they are here for me not you,if you don’t want me to tell them about you yet,I won’t. I hate this face of yours right now ” He arranged her hair and placed a k-ss on her forehead
” No,,you don’t have to do that” Kristen sighed
He k-ssed her again before they all dropped from the car .

Nicholas parents were having fun while watching the Tv when Nicholas came in with Kristen and Jenna,Iris had decided to drop somewhere saying she’s not ready to go home.
” Grannie!!!!” Jenna scre-med rushing to them
” Oh,,it’s my cute beautiful baby ” Mrs Bill said happily and hugged her before leaving her for Mr Bill who also did the same
” Hello mom,,” Nicholas also hugged her
” Hey dad,,” He shook hands with him and gave him a side hug
” Oh,,who is this young lady?” Mrs Bill asked referring to Kristen who stood still watching them exchange pleasantries.
” Hello mam,am,,Kristen” Kristen bowed
” Kristen,,you’re so pretty. Come here ” Mrs Bill said opening her arms for a hug and Kristen didn’t hesitate to hug her
” Hmm,,,she’s really pretty. Who is she son?” Mr Bill winked and sat down
” she just Said her name is Kristen” Nicholas scoffed
” I know,,but I want you to tell us who she is ” Mr Bill said
Kristen left them and sat down beside Nicholas,Jenna was on Mr Bill’s legs
” She’s my nanny” Jenna spoke up
” Oh wow,,your nanny?? Never knew nannies could be this pretty,,that’s new ” Mrs Bill said and Kristen smiled timidly
” She’s my girlfriend mom,I know that’s what you wanna hear. I know you,,stop using strategies” Nicholas smiled
” Good!! I guess our coming here isn’t in vain,,come here again Kristen. Let me hug you once more ” Mrs Bill said getting up
” I told you my son took after me,He’s my son indeed ” Mr Bill chuckled and hugged Kristen also
” Yeah that true dad,,I am your son ” Nicholas said
” Yeah but you’re my baby”
” Please for Kristen’s sake,don’t start your arguments here ” Nicholas begged and Kristen hit him playfully
” Are you joking?” She muttered
” No am not” He whispered back
” They are so sweet,,now I can die peacefully” Mrs Bill said
” No,,please you can’t die now ” Kristen pleaded and they all laughed.
All of a sudden,Kristen’s phone rang . she excused herself to get the call
📞 Iris,what’s wrong? Do you need anything?
📞 I need your help sis,,I really want to,,,,get some girl’s clothes,,but I don’t know how to go about it. What should I do?
📞 Girls clothes? What are you talking about? You mean,,some girly outfits?
📞 Yeah,,something like that
📞 Wow,that’s new
Kristen chuckled
📞 Just come back home,,we can do that together tomorrow. So I can help you,can’t help you right now.
📞 Fine,,am just gonna leave the mall.
Kristen hanged up with a grin before going back to the family waiting for her.

” Finally,,thought you forgot” Michelle gro-ned standing up from the couch the moment Max appeared
” I don’t keep fake promises only if you are patient” Max said proudly
” Yeah I guess,but that doesn’t make you less annoying” Michelle rolled her eyes
” Repeat that again and I stay home ” Max threatened
” You can’t do that” she laughed
” why can’t I?”
” Because you love me ” Michelle replied and pecked his cheek
” Another one minute here and I stay back,so let’s go now before I change my mind ”
” Gosh,,I hate you” She gro-ned and went out,Max also followed.

” Come on brother,why are you still in the car?” Michelle cried
” Am staying in the car until you’re done,any problem with that?”
” I want you to help me choose ,,you’re a guy ”
” Why should I do that? Are you planning to make someone notice you or what?”
” I can’t tell you anything okay? Just come out of this car ”
” No I won’t”
” Please brother,,come on ” She begged
” You’re not allowed to have a boyfriend,,you’re still a kid ” Max scoffed
” I will be sixteen soon,,,,,”
” And I am eighteen,I am a boy and I don’t have a girlfriend” Max raised his brow
” You have a crush,,so definitely you will soon get a girlfriend”
” Then wait until you’re eighteen,,stop thinking about any f**king guy. It won’t end well ”
” Actually,,I am not planning to impress anyone. I just want to get some clothes! Don’t be over protective,”
” I can’t help that,,,fine am coming out. Just do me a favor,don’t shout. Its annoying.”
” I won’t,I promise” Michelle grinned
As he was about going in with Michelle,a figure walked out of the mall and he stopped and turned watching her walking away,,
” Iris ” He called and she looked back
He immediately moved closer to her
” What are you doing here?? You’re leaving empty handed ” He asked with his usual cute smile which always melt Iris’s heart but she felt like it was stupid to smile at that moment.
” I don’t think I owe you an explanation,” She snapped and left his side leaving him in total shock

” That was one hell of a rejection,sorry brother” Michelle giggles from the back
” I wasn’t rejected,,I didn’t even ask her out. So what rejection are you talking about?” Max scoffed
” Anyhow,,she shunned you ” She rolled her eyes and went in
Max sighed and followed her
‘ I will just apologize to her later,’ he said inwardly as he helped Michelle with some clothes
” Wow,,I love this dress” Max smiled staring at a black short gown in his hand
” Wow,,that’s amazing,,,”
” No,,it’s not for you. Am keeping this for myself” He smirked
” Yourself? But why? You want to give someone? I really love this dress,,,”
” Look for another one,sorry am taking this ” Max replied and Michelle frowned
” Fine,good for you” She snapped and walked away to the other side
“Is she really gonna accept this? Never seen her putting on things like this,,,gosh she’s something else. She’s going to look amazing in this,,,anyway,,am keeping it for later” He smiled
He also took a necklace,bracelet and earrings
” What am I doing? She’s not even my,,,,,,” He breathe out
” Exactly,,I don’t see any reason why you’re getting clothes for someone who isn’t your girlfriend,,let me have it ” Michelle winked cutely
” No” He snapped
” I hope you get rejected again ” Michelle frowned
” I wish your crush love someone else ” Max winked
” I don’t have a crush okay?”
” Good for you then,,you need to be fast with everything,I want to go home and get some sleep” Max yawned
” I wonder why you’re sleeping like a pregnant woman,,” She shook her head
” This dress is cute,,,take it ”
” Wow,,thanks,I love it ”
” That should be enough,,you’re not a celebrity so let’s go home ”

Gently,Kristen left Jenna’s side on the bed few minutes after she fell asleep,,for almost a week now,Jenna as grown the habit of sleeping in Kristen’s room.
She made sure she was careful as she opened the door and left the room,she entered Iris’s room and just as expected she was awake studying.
She looked back when she heard the door opened,,
“…Kristen,” She called
” What are you doing here??”
Kristen sat down on the bed and let out a smile
” We need to talk ”
Iris moved her chair close to her
” About what?” She asked
” About you ”
” Why me?”
” You’ve been acting all weird,when did you ever agree to dress like a girl? Tell me,,what happened?”
” I just want to change,,that’s all. You’ve always wanted this right? So why are you complaining now??”
” I am not complaining,just trying to figure the reason out. I just want you to know why,,if you are not ready to tell me,it’s fine. I’m still going to help you,anytime ” Kristen smiled
” You think am stupid right??” Iris muttered calmly
” I never said that Iris,you’re not stupid to think of a make over,since you want to do it,then go for it.” Kristen counseled.
” ,,,,,,,Thanks ” Iris said even though she had a lot of things in her mind but she’s just like that,always slow to express her feelings
” Are you okay now?”
” Yeah am fine,,you can go on and sleep. Am still going to study for one hour” Iris turned back to the table immediately Kristen stood up
” Wait Kristen” Iris called back
” What is it?”
” About what you told me,,I think you’re right. We will try to find a way to bring mom to the mansion,,I will move out of here after then,but are you sure you can leave Mr Bill? You two look amazing together” Iris said
” We are not married” Kristen laughed
” I don’t see anything bad in it,,and besides Jenna is going to feel so sad about it if you leave so it’s better if you just stay here while I go. I just hope Mom will agree to leave that husband of hers” Iris sighed
” Don’t worry,,,I got this. Goodnight” Kristen left the room

” Jenna,,you’ve been grinning ever since you woke up. Is there something you’re not telling me??” Kristen asked Jenna as she helped her dress up
” I’m happy,,my birthday is in four days. I can’t wait to be six ” Jenna said happily
” Hmm,,why do you feel so excited to turn six?”
” Because most of my classmates are six,and I always feel mad when they tell me they are older,it’s annoying” Jenna scoffed
” Do you know they are going to turn seven very soon?”
” I know,,but at least for now,we all are agemates” Jenna flipped her hair back with her hand in a way that made Kristen laugh
” You’re funny Jenna ” She k-ssed her cheeks
They both stopped when the door opened and Iris came in,,,
” Wow,,you look good.” Jenna smirked trying to tease her
” Really??” Iris’s face brightened
” Yeah,,your outfit look amazing. You are beautiful,,,but your hair is crazy,,you need to do something about it. Uhm,,,Jenna give me a minute ” Kristen left Jenna’s side and sat Iris down
She helped her style her hair in a much better way
” I think this is better,” Kristen breathe out
” yeah it is,,thanks. Am running late already” Iris said rushing toward the door
” Wait,,” Kristen stopped her
” What”
” You look like my sister now ” Kristen winked
” That’s crazy,I was always your sister even though I was silly. But I promise to change”
” Can I hug you?” Kristen sighed
” I am late” Iris chuckled and ran out

” You can drop me here,,” Iris told the driver when she saw Jimmy also dropping from the car.
” Hey Jimmy!! Jimmy!!” She shouted and ran to him.
” Iris??” Jimmy looked at her in shock.
” Yeah,,why are you staring at me like that? Am I looking stupid?” Iris asked
” Really stupid ” Jimmy replied without thinking.
” What??”
” I mean,,,I don’t know what to say.” He muttered as he viewed her from her toes back to her face
” You’re making me uncomfortable,if you stare at me this way,what should I expect in the class?” Iris said nervously
” No,,,am sorry. I don’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable,,,but you look really beautiful. I love your new style,,” Jimmy said and touched her hair
” Thanks”
They both went to class together and unfortunately for her,the class was filled up already. The moment they entered all eyes fell on her she became uncomfortable
” What’s going on right now?’
” It’s the crazy girl Iris,,”
” She’s completely different”
” Never knew she’s as pretty as this”
” This is weird”
” Why will she suddenly start dressing hot? She’s definitely gonna cause some chaos ”
She ignored the comments even though she wasn’t feeling her normal self,,,
” Don’t be nervous,,you’re beautiful this way ” Jimmy winked at her
” Don’t try to make me blush,it won’t work ” Iris rolled her eyes
” But you’re going to blush if it’s from Max,,” Jimmy scoffed
” No I won’t,that’s a silly thought” Iris snapped
” Oh,,Max is here” Jimmy let out a smile as Max walked toward them but his eyes were searching round the class
” Are you looking for someone?” Jimmy asked
” Have you seen Iris? Is she in school?” Max asked worriedly
Jimmy raised his brow and faced Iris then back to Max
” What are you talking about? Why do you want to see her?” Jimmy asked
” I don’t know,,I just want to see her. I think she’s mad at me or something,,” Max sighed and roughed his hair
Jimmy was trying hærd not to laugh,
Iris bite her l-ips and looked away wondering if Max was blind at that moment..
” Okay,,but why will she be mad at you? What did you do to her?” Jimmy asked further
” I guess I said something stupid,,but I didn’t mean what I said,,I was just,,,I don’t know but she got anger issues,,am going to apologize to her anyway. She shunned me when I saw her during the weekend break,,am going to tell her am sorry,,” Max said and Jimmy bursts into laughter
” What’s funny?” Max asked
” You think Iris got anger issues? Why?” Jimmy asked
” Just leave me alone,,but,,who is she? New student?” Max asked in a whisper to Jimmy even though Iris could hear exactly what he was saying
” Why are you asking? You like her? She’s pretty right?”
” Who’s talking about beauty here? Just want to know if she’s a new student,,but are you sure Iris will be coming today? ” Max asked staring at the entrance
” Max you’re crazy,,you’re such a mad fellow ” Jimmy said laughing his ass out
” Why??”
” This is Iris! Conw on,,are you blind? It’s Iris” Jimmy said pointing at her
” Huh?” Max muttered
Jimmy shook his head and pulled Iris closer,,
” Look at her ”
Iris also looked up to Max’s face with a complete blank expression,,,
Max let out a gasp and the phone in his hand fell off.
” I still can’t believe you right now ” Jimmy sighed and Iris smiled a little as she stared at the expression on Max’s face
” Are you still here bro” Jimmy asked waving his hand on Max’s face
Max blinked his eyes and sat up,,he grabbed Iris’s hand
” We need to talk”
” Don’t touch me ” Iris snapped trying to throw his hand off
” Don’t act strong,,am stronger” Max said and they both left the class
” Where are we going?? Your grip is too hærd,,” Iris gro-ned

” What are we doing here? We have a class in less than 10 minutes” Iris mumbled gently looking down as she couldn’t return the gaze he was giving her
” Look up ” Max said and she did
” Did you do this,,because of what I said?? Because of me??” He asked
Iris scoffed
” You’re so stupid to think I changed because of you ” She muttered
” Then why? If not that,why?”
” Because I want to,,so stop acting like you’re something important” She scoffed ..
” Fine,,,you look amazing” Max said and her cheeks became red instantly
” Am sorry for what I said to you,,I really didn’t mean to annoy you,am sorry”
” Okay,,can I go now?”
” I have a gift for you,,,I never expected you to like it anyway,,but now I think you will. I will give you after school” Max said with a smile
” A gift? What is it?” Iris asked
” Surprise”
” Okay,,,” Iris nodded and turned toward the exit
” We should go,,I don’t want to miss the class ” She said
” Wait,,” Max held her hand and pulled her back against the wall
” What do you want?”
She was more confused when he moved closer to her
” What are you doing??” She asked in almost a whisper trying to maintain her voice due to his closeness
But then he spoke up,,
” Can I k-ss you?”
