” The wh0le class clapped for me when I answered the question,,” Jenna said proudly as she narrated what happened in her class to Kristen who listened carefully
” You’re so brilliant Jenna,,,” Kristen smiled
” You didn’t inform me that you are going to tell my teacher about my birthday,,the wh0le class will be coming here?” Jenna asked with a wide eyes
” Of course,you don’t want that?” Kristen asked
” Of course I do,,I am so happy about it ” Jenna said
” I think daddy is back” Jenna let out a grin and they both smirked
” You did it Jenna ” Kristen said and pat her hair
Earlier,she had promised to stay awake until Nicholas gets back and fortunately she passed.
” Let’s go greet him goodnight” Kristen stood up and Jenna also followed

Nicholas was already in his room when they entered,,,Jenna immediately Withdraw her hand from Kristen’s before running to hug him
” Daddy!!” She shouted as usual
” Hey,,how are you doing?” Nicholas asked with a forced smile on his l-ips
” I’m fine daddy,,you should congratulate me for not sleeping now that you’re home ” Jenna smiled
” Congratulations Jenna” Nicholas said
” Thanks daddy,,,goodnight”
Nicholas nodded and Jenna frowned
” Goodnight k-ss ” She said
He k-ssed her cheek lightly,,
” Goodnight,” He muttered
Jenna smiled and walked back to Kristen whose gaze was on Nicholas wondering what was going on with him.
She went out with Jenna,,
” Jenna,,can you go sleep with Iris? I want to talk to daddy ” Kristen said
” Yes of course,,goodnight” Jenna waved happily and entered Iris’s room.
Kristen instantly went back to Nicholas,,,
” Hey,,are you okay? You look somehow” She said and stood in front of him as he sat down on the bed.
He pulled her wa-ist against himself and hugged her like that,,she was beginning to get worried
” Talk to me,,what happened?” She asked patting his back slowly
He released her and she sat beside him,,,,
He explained everything to her and she scoffed
” Don’t tell me you believe what that crazy guy told you” Kristen said calmly
” I really don’t want to believe him,,I tried getting it off my mind,but I just keep on thinking about it. What if he’s right? What if I’m really a fool? What if Jenna is not even mine?” Nicholas asked
” That’s bullshit Nick,,damn bullshit. You should open your eyes,,Jenna have always been yours and she’s going to be yours forever. Don’t let Andrew intimidate you,He’s a liar. Jenna is your daughter” Kristen said
” How am I going to be sure now? He even told me to confirm through a DNA,,what if he’s right?” Nicholas sighed and roughed his hair.
” Seriously,,you’re annoying right now. Are you telling me you’re going to do a DNA? To confirm if that cute kid is your child? Huh? ”
” I don’t have a choice okay?? If she’s mine,,am going to be calm,,right now am not ” Nicholas sighed
” And if she’s not yours? You’re going to throw her away?” Kristen raised her brow
” I have no idea about that” Nicholas replied and she stood up
” I am not going to stop you,,,but I am not in support of this. Why can’t you just try to forget what Andrew said?”
” Why don’t you understand me?!! Try to f**king put yourself in my position!! I don’t care if you are in support of this or not,,am going for the DNA and that’s it! I don’t need your support to do any damn thing” Nicholas snapped
” Fine then,,just do whatever pleases you. I don’t care either” Kristen said and walked out of the room
Nicholas sighed sadly and buried his face into his palms,,the type of pain he was feeling at that moment was undescribable.
As Kristen left Nicholas’s room,,she went straight to Iris’s and opened the door. The two girls were asleep already,,,she had to carry Jenna not minding her weight. She just wanted to stay with her that night,,not even after what Nicholas said.
‘ But she’s too innocent,,why can’t he just understand?’ Kristen thought inwardly as she walked out of the room.

••Next Morning••💞
” Jenna you need to be fast with your breakfast,,you don’t want to be late right?” Kristen said
” Am done,,,” Jenna smiled gulping down a glass of water
” Good,,then let’s go ” Kristen stood up
” but,,daddy. We haven’t even went to him this morning,,I need to greet him” Jenna said
” Oh that’s right,,,let’s go but we need to be fast ” Kristen smiled and hold Jenna’s hand.
They went upstairs straight to Nicholas,,Jenna knocked on that door with her tiny fist
” Who is it?”
” It’s Jenna ”
No reply,,she opened and it revealed an already dressed Nicholas as usual,only his face was saying a different thing.
Jenna went to hug him
” Morning daddy ” She said smiling cutely
” Morning” Nicholas replied and touched her hair even though his eyes were on Kristen standing close to the door. Her expression was blank,,,
Nicholas sighed when he noticed she wasn’t ready to talk to him
” That’s enough Jenna,we need to go ” Kristen called
” I love you daddy ” Jenna said waving at him
” I love you too ” He replied and waved back
Kristen took a last glance at Nicholas before holding Jenna’s hand and they both left

Kristen looked at the mansion in front of her one last time and breathe out,,earlier on,she had talked with Andrew asking where they could meet and he gave the address.
She made sure three guards followed her,,she didn’t even tell Nicholas about her plans but she was ready to risk it.
” You guys can stay here,,,when you don’t see me after twenty minutes,come in” She told the guards
” Yes mam ” They answered
She nodded and went in,,it doesn’t seem like his main house cause it was somehow empty.
She walked into the house,,he was not in the living room but she wasn’t planning to go any further. She dialed his number again
” Are you really here?”
” Right behind you ” Andrew replied and she turned back immediately.
Andrew grinned
” So,,the beauty is here. How nice” He smiled
” You’re so shameless Andrew,,what the f**k did you tell Nicholas?? ”
” Are you mad about it? Well I only told him the truth,how come I’m the bad guy here??” Andrew asked
” You have no right to tell him such nonsense,how dare you?!! ”
” Wait,,are you really here because of your boyfriend? This is amazing” He said
” Am just gonna warn you to f**king stay away from him,,what the hell did he do to you? ”
” He took you from me!!” Andrew yelled and she flinched but regained herself almost immediately
She let out a chuckle
” You’re really crazier than I thought,me?? I was never yours so what the hell are you talking about?” Kristen asked
” I don’t care about that,,,but he’s damn getting on my nerves already. Everything is always about him! He always win everything,is he the only one? He took everything from me”
Kristen shook her head
” You know what you are? A f**king envier,,it’s not his fault that he’s loved by many. You should watch yourself if you worth it,,” She said and brought out a note bundle from her bag
” I guess you are doing all these because you once helped me,,,here is your damn money. Take it and leave us alone” She snapped and hand over the money to him
She turned toward the exit leaving the room,,Andrew grab her hand and pulled her back.
” What the hell? Let go of me!!” Kristen shouted
” You really think I am doing this because of money? I love you so much!! Why can’t you see that?”
” Shut up,,,you don’t love me. You’re just displaying your stupidity because you hate seeing me with Nicholas,,that’s because you don’t like him. ” Kristen said struggling from his grip
” Really?? What have he done to you? What is it about him that is so different?? I am rich too! If that’s what you want”
Kristen scoffed
” Who cares about your money?? I don’t like you,,I never did and it’s never going to happen. Get that into your skull and stop this foolishness of yours ” She said
Andrew felt hurt by her words,,she just said it to his face that she can never like him.
He pulled her hærdly against the wall and she let out a hurtful gro-n
” Are you crazy? Let me f**king go!!” Kristen yelled
He ignored her scre-ms and k-ssed her forcefully,,Kristen bite his l-ips,,
” F**k” he moved away from her
” Stay away from me,,” Kristen said and walked out of the room.

” Hey,,are you okay? You don’t look good” Max said as he sat beside Iris in the school garden,he knew she always come here whenever she’s not happy and he has noticed her mood,so he wasn’t surprised when he couldn’t find her in class.
” How did you know I was here? And besides,did you sneak out? We have a class right now ” Iris said
” Yeah that’s true,I sneaked. So what’s wrong?” Max asked
” I don’t know,,I just don’t feel good to attend class. That’s why I came here,,you should go back ,I am fine all by myself ” Iris muttered
” Let’s just stay together,,I don’t feel like attending the class either” He gro-ned and Iris smiled
” About the gift,,,I had to open it last night. It’s really amazing,,thanks. Here,see,,I used the necklace and the bracelet” Iris said showing him
” It look good on you” Max smiled and touched her hair
” Not again,,why do you guys love touching my hair against my wish? It’s really annoying” Iris scoffed
” Aside me,,who always touch your hair?” Max asked
” Jimmy,,I find it annoying though but now you too.” Iris said
” You find mine annoying too?” Max asked
” Well,,,not really ” Iris said sincerely
She wasn’t really annoyed when Max touched her hair even though she never liked it when anyone does that.
” You can’t,,am different” Max grinned proudly
” How are you different? You two are my friends” Iris raised her brow up
Max cleared his throat
” I didn’t mean to say that,,I mean,,,I have more access to you than him,,yeah something like that” Max said knowing fully well that he wasn’t making any sense
” Access? Like what?” Iris asked further looking confused
” The k-ss,,,I k-ssed you. So that’s ahead of him ” Max smiled
” That’s not true,,,he also k-ssed me once” Iris lied and Max’s smiled disappeared immediately
” Who k-ssed you?” He asked calmly
” Jimmy of course,who are we talking about??” Iris scoffed
” He really did that?? And you allowed him?”
” Why wouldn’t I? Not like he have a girlfriend or something,,and I don’t have a boyfriend either. Maybe we can make a perfect match,,or what do you think?” Iris asked laughing inwardly seeing the expression on Max’s face
” Huh?” He asked
” I said we would make a perfect couple,,” Iris smiled and Max scoffed
” It won’t end well ” He muttered
” Why?” Iris asked with a frown
” You’re f**king lying right now,,Jimmy wouldn’t do that with you. Am so gonna kill him ” Max said
” It’s my l-ips not yours,,I can k-ss anyone I want…”
” No you can’t,,,don’t even think of letting any other guy k-ss that l-ips of yours. ” Max snapped and stood up
” Are you leaving??” Iris asked
” You spoiled my mood,,” He muttered sadly
Iris rolled her eyes
” I was lying,,Jimmy didn’t k-ss me,,you f**king stole my first k-ss against my wish” Iris said
‘But you liked it’ her mind whispered to her and she bite her l-ips
” I am really the first?” Max asked with a smile and She nodded
” What if I become the second too?” He asked
” Don’t you dare try that,,,” Iris snapped and Max laughed.

Kimberly watched Kristen sighing for the forth time from her table and decided to speak up.
” Is everything okay? You can talk to me ” Kim said to Kristen
Kristen looked up and sighed again
” I’m fine Kim,,you don’t have to worry about me ” Kristen said
” is it my brother??” Kim asked
” How did you know that?” Kristen asked
” What happened between you guys?” Kim asked closing her arms
Kristen told her everything not skipping a part and there was silence,,
” Andrew really told him that?” Kim asked after some minutes
” Of course,and right now he’s not even himself. I tried to convince him to forget about it,,Andrew is a damn liar but he’s not ready to listen to me ” Kristen scoffed
” Don’t stop him,,,he should find out the truth. But he shouldn’t have lost control of his temper on you,,” Kimberly scoffed
” And you should have informed him before going to Andrew,,what if something happened to you? I don’t trust that guy,,you need to be careful Kristen” Kim said
” I couldn’t tell him because we haven’t spoken yet,,,I am fine now anyway. ” Kristen said
” Thank you Kristen” Kim said
” For what?” She asked
‘ For coming into my brother’s life,,,you’re such an amazing young lady. But please don’t leave him too,,he loves you so much.”. Kimberly said calmly
” I love him too,,and am not gonna leave him. No matter how annoying he can be ” Kristen scoffed and Kim laughed
” You are really cute when angry,,,please don’t punish my brother too much. Forgive him,,I understand him,,,He’s hurt. But he shouldn’t pass his anger out on you,,,just forgive him for my sake huh?”
” Thanks Kim,,,,” Kristen sighed
” A friendly hug ” Kim said opening her arms
Kristen stood up and hugged her
” You will be fine,,,,don’t worry” Kim assured patting her back.

••Night••💞
The mansion was all silent since everyone was asleep already but Nicholas was yet to get home,,
Kristen had to wait for him in the living room,,even though she was worried,she didn’t call him. She wasn’t ready to talk to him first,
She was watching a movie to keep herself busy until she heard the familiar noise outside,,
” He’s back ” She muttered and immediately switched the TV off,,she laid on the couch and pretended to be asleep.
After few seconds,Nicholas came in with Shane. They almost went upstairs when Nicholas saw her sleeping peacefully on the couch
Obviously,she have been waiting for him and had ended up sleeping on the couch.
Shane went upstairs and then came back,,..
” Good night boss” he bowed and left without waiting for his response since he was sure Nicholas wouldn’t reply him not after being moody all day at the office.
Nicholas let out a sigh and moved closer to Kristen,,,
He bent in front of her and arranged her scattered hair,he stood up again and carried her in his arms and then headed upstairs.
He was almost going into his own room,,but then,,
” Take me to my room,,not yours” Kristen said not opening her eyes
Nicholas was shocked,she just played him. Nevertheless,he ignored what she said and opened the door,,
” I said take me to my room,,,” Kristen repeated
” And why should I do that?”
” Because I don’t want to stay here,,,” She replied
Nicholas dropped her on the bed,,
She frowned and got down,,Nicholas hold her back
” Where are you going?”
” My room,,as you can see I want to sleep” She said blankly and Nicholas sighed
” Kristen am sorry ” He blurted
