” Kristen am sorry ” He blurted still holding her hand ,,she was trying her best not to laugh.
” Sorry for what?” She asked
” For shouting on you,,I was just sad you couldn’t even understand my feelings. But it’s okay,,am sorry ” Nicholas said
” But that’s not enough reason to tell me you don’t need my support for anything,,I felt hurt too ”
” Fine,I’m sorry. ”
” Okay,,” She mumbled slowly.
Nicholas sighed and then hugged her,
” So,,are you still planning to do a DNA? ” She asked still in his arms
” I really need to find out the truth ” Nicholas replied
” Fine,,let’s do this together” she said with a smile and Nicholas nodded.
Kristen gro-ned and fell on the bed
” How was your day?” She asked
” Bad ” Nicholas said and she chuckled
” Really? Why?” She teased
” Are you kidding me? We didn’t even talk in the morning,,I couldn’t hold you,hug you,k-ss you and you expected me to have a good day? You’re really cold more than I thought” Nicholas scoffed And Kristen bursts into laughter
” I’m not cold,,just a little bit upset,that’s it ” She said
” Then I don’t think I want you to be upset with me anymore,I can’t take that”
” Well,,I had a bad day too. Thanks to Kim who cheered me up,so,,I’m sorry for making you have a bad day ”
” Jenna is asleep?” Nicholas asked taking off his shirt
” Yeah,,” She replied and bite her l-ips glaring at his s€×y chest
” You look like you’re about to swallow me ” Nicholas smirked
” Silly,I wasn’t looking at you ” She denied
” Are you sure?”
” Yeah ” She replied
” Hmm,,” Nicholas went into the inner room
” He’s hot,,but am not gonna admit it ” Kristen said with a crazy smile like she was talking to someone
Before Nicholas came out of the bathroom,she was asleep already.
He sat down on the bed and sighed,,he was trying his best to forget about everything. He doesn’t want the DNA,but his mind isn’t at rest.
‘ What if that bastard is saying the truth?’ He thought and roughed his hair
Kristen moved a little bit on the bed and she felt no one beside her,,she opened her eyes and saw him sitting down deep in thought.
She sat up and rest her head on his shoulder
” Are you thinking about something??” She asked
” Don’t worry about me,,I don’t feel like sleeping. Just got ahead and sleep ” Nicholas said
” Stop thinking Nick,,we should do the DNA. Let’s take her to the family doctor tomorrow,,that’s the only doctor we can trust,and then we can do the test. Let your mind be at rest,stop thinking about Andrew,He’s crazy. Even if she’s not yours,,you’re not a fool,so please let’s sleep ” Kristen patted him
‘Silence followed’
” Okay fine,,let me make you sleep ” She smiled
Nicholas looked at her
” How??” He asked
” Just lay down on the bed and watch me ” Kristen winked
” Fine” He did what she asked for
” Close your eyes and sleep,am not God ” Kristen scoffed and Nicholas laughed
” That’s crazy,,stop pranking me,,you always get me ” Nicholas saud
” I’m a prank master ” Kristen bragged
” I can’t sleep this way,,,”
” So what do you want?”
” You ” He replied
” Do I look like a sleeping pill??” She scoffed
” You’re everything” Nicholas smiled and instantly claimed her l-ips.
It was followed by the flipping of clothes and mo-ns.

Kristen gro-ned as the alarm rang out loudly,,
” Turn it off ” She muttered sleepily and as if luck was on her side,the alarm went off
She smiled in her sleep and let out soft snores which made Nicholas chuckle seeing her face,,,he hold her pointed nose and she opened her mouth to breathe without waking up
” What?” Nicholas was surprised
He ins**ted his finger into her mouth and she bite him
” F**k,,,Kristen” He called feeling the pain
” I once told you my teeth are sharp,,” Kristen said opening her eyes
” Is that enough reason to show me the practical?” Nicholas asked
” I saw that you didn’t understand the theory,,am I the bad girl now?” She pouted
” Damn,,,my finger ” Nicholas gro-ned
” Is it that painful? I only pressed it a little,,why are you gro-ning?? Am going to take my bath” She got up from the bed but gasp and fell back when she discovered shs was still unclad
” Oh no ” She gro-ned and wrapped the duvet over herself
” My clothes please”
” Go take it yourself” Nicholas smirked
” Please it’s not a payback time right now,,” She said
” I don’t care,,,as you can see. I’ve taken my bath already,,,so I am not moving from here” Nicholas smirked
” You are evil,I should have known” She said and got up still with the duvet.
” Why are you with that??” Nicholas asked and immediately took her gown on the floor
” Give me that”
” No,,,you have to remove that from your body before I give you this,,,give and take,,that’s it ” He smiled proudly
” Remember this,,am gonna pay back. You know me ” Kristen snapped
” I don’t care,,it’s my moment now ” Nicholas said
Kristen frowned and removed the duvet from her body
” Satisfied now?? My night gown” She demanded
” Come take it,,,”
She gro-ned and grab it from him,,she immediately put it on
” Pervert ” She muttered and Nicholas laughed
” Am not a pervert,,it’s mine anyway so why hiding?”
” What’s mine is mine not yours ” She scoffed.
” Really? You think so?? ”
” I need to pay back,trust me ,you won ” She said and walked out of the room leaving Nicholas in a good mood at least.

” What’s happening nanny? I’m not going to school today?” Jenna asked as Kristen dressed her up
” No you’re not ” Kristen answered
” What? But why”
” Because you will be going out with daddy and nanny” Kristen replied and Jenna smiled
” We are going to have fun together?? Wow I can’t wait!” She said happily and Kristen sighed
‘I wish you’re for Nick,,,even if you’re not. I’m not gonna let you go,,,’ Kristen thought inwardly
” Nanny? What’s wrong? Your eyes are becoming red ” Jenna said sadly and held Kristen’s cheek
Kristen hugged her
” I’m okay Jenna,you don’t have to worry about me ” Kristen said
” I love you Jenna,always remember that”
” I love you too ” Jenna replied with her cute smile.

Max smiled sheepishly as he stared at the hairpins in his hand,,he bought it yesterday when his granny sent him to the grocery store. It looked really flashy and all he could think of was Iris,,he was going to give her in school.
He was still going downstairs when he heard the voice of Andrew and his granny talking in granny’s room.
‘When last did brother come here? What’s happening?’ He wondered and decided to eavesdrop
He gently placed his ear on the door ,,
” How could you have done something as stupid as that? Even though we are not in good terms with the family ,you should know it was a secret ” Granny said
‘What secret?’ Max thought
” I couldn’t help it,,,I really love Kristen alot but she prefer Nicholas to me ” Andrew replied
” Good for him anyway,,I really dont pity him. I hate everything about those family,,I should have sent that teenage girl to jail if you didn’t stop me ” Granny said
” She’s a criminal” She added
Max removed his ear with a complete blank expression,,,the family they are talking about is Iris’s family??
‘ Does that mean,,,the reason why Iris was looking unhappy was because of brother? I don’t understand’ Max thought and sighed
He was still there when the door opened and Andrew came out,,the two stared at each other in silence.
” Hi brother” Max finally spoke up
” Yeah,,are you not going to school today? ” Andrew asked
” I’m actually on my way ” Max replied calmly
” Okay,,am on my way too,,I can just drop you ” Andrew suggested
Max almost reject the offer,,
‘What if Iris sees me with him? She may decide not to talk to me again’ He thought
” Let’s go if you are ready,,,” Andrew said going downstairs
Max sighed and followed him
” What about Mitchell?” Andrew asked as they got into the car
” She left,,early class I guess ” Max replied shortly and Andrew nodded
” So,,,how is school life?? Got a girlfriend yet?” Andrew asked with a grin
” Not yet,,but there’s someone I like ” Max replied
” Really?? You’re becoming a man already,,you like a girl?” Andrew smiled
” Who would believe I will like someone who once broke my head?” Max asked and Andrew turned to him
” What do you mean??” Andrew asked looking confused
” Nothing,,,thanks for the ride anyway” Max said immediately the car stopped in front of the school.
He dropped but Andrew also got down
” Max stop ” Andrew said
” What ” Max asked facing him back
” You have a lot of explanations to make ,,,” Andrew said
” Do I have to explain?? So you can hurt her too?? Seriously brother,,I never knew you’re as wicked as this,” Max said even though he wasn’t even sure of what he was saying
He doesn’t even though what was going on,,but obviously he was sure that Andrew did something bad and is not really to admit his mistake
” What are you talking about?” Andrew asked
” I heard every f**king thing you discussed with granny ” Max lied
‘ Dude,,they already ended the conversation before you decided to eavesdrop’ His mind whispered but he wasn’t ready to give up
” What did you even hear?” Andrew asked
” Do I need to answer? You know what you talked about,,I’m even more disappointed that Granny is a part of it ” Max replied but stopped when he saw Iris getting down from the car
As soon as she dropped,,their eyes met,,she glared at him and then Andrew.
She took her eyes away and went in ,Max’s eyes followed her.
” Don’t tell me you’re talking about her ” Andrew asked
” Glad you know,,,don’t you even dare try to hurt her. Am gonna do something silly ” Max warned and went in leaving Andrew in a complete shock
” What is this kid saying??” He scoffed

” Hey Iris ” Max called and sat down beside her with a grin
Iris ignored him
” Are you okay? Why are you quiet?” Max asked
Iris on the other hand was thinking hærd about Jenna.
If The result comes out as negative,,,the family will really go through some hærdsh¡p which she doesn’t want. And to even think that Max’s brother is behind everything happening was beginning to upset her.
What if Max is a trap? What if they are planning to hurt her through Max?
‘I’m so stupid’ She sighed and roughed her hair
Max hold her hand,,
” Don’t touch me,,,I want to be alone” She snapped his hand off and stood up .
She looked at him angrily and then walked out of the class.

” I’m home!!!” Kimberly shouted as she entered the mansion
” You need to stop this silly noise of yours,,it’s annoying ” Mrs Bill rolled her eyes
Kimberly sighed and sat down beside her on the couch,,she rest her head on Mrs Bill’s shoulder.
” What,,” Mrs Bill asked
” I’m worried,,,mom,,,I have something to tell you ” Kim said and raised her head up
” Tell me ”
” It’s about Jenna,,,do you have any idea if she’s really brother’s child??” Kim asked
Mrs Bill sat up well and looked at Kim in a confused manner
” What do you mean?? Did Nicholas find out that Jenna is not his??” Mrs Bill asked and Kim raised her brow
” Not yet,,but Kristen told me they went for a DNA today,,,there’s a probability that the results will be out tomorrow,,it’s the family doctor” Kimberly replied and Mrs Bill sighed
” How did they suddenly decide to go for a DNA?? Does that make sense at all??”
” According to Kristen,,it was Andrew who challenged brother about Jenna not being his daughter. And I think it really got him,,so they decided to confirm through the test ” Kim responded
” That bastard,,Andrew.” Mrs Bill growled
” Is everything okay?” Kim asked
” I knew a day like this is coming,,but I wasn’t expecting it this way ” Mrs Bill muttered
” What are you talking about Mom?” Kim asked curiously
Mrs Bill faced her
” Jenna is not Nicholas child ” She said and Kimberly gasped not believing what she just heard .
