“Ion like any of this, are they the only ones you got?” Philip asked Sally as she showed him the various types of graduation surprises for a lover on a laptop
“Yeah… But I honestly think they’re ok” Sally replied
” I want something better than the best for her as a graduation surprise…. like something she really needs” he replied
” She always says she wants to be a chef forever so I think you should do something related to that” Sally replied, shutting down the laptop
” We have only Wednesday and Thursday….I think I know what to do” he said, smiling widely…
” I’m honestly happy that Melanie got a man like you, Mr Albert you’re rare” Sally said
” Really?”
” Of course, I can’t wait to eat the wedding cake” she replied before leaving
” Wedding cake….can’t wait too” he said

Dwayne got his palm treated at the school clinic before going back to the school garden where he sat alone
He doesn’t feel like going back to class, seeing her will only make him miss talking to her
Maybe because she’s the only person he’ll ever talk freely with
He strangely started remembering the little talks they’ve had and the time they’ve spent together
He closed his eyes and breathed hærd
“I’m not angry…I’m just tensed up” he said

” Stop crying girl” Lillian kept consoling Valerie in the washroom, she has been crying since she came back from the school garden
“His palm is bleeding a lot, he won’t even let me know how he’s faring, weather it hurts a lot or not” she replied, wiping her tears .
” You’re both at fault here but yours is a little bit bigger…. nevertheless, I believe he’ll come around, who’ll want to lose a sweet girl like you” Lillian said and hugged her
” Come on stop being a crybaby…..ion pray to be a crybaby like you when I’ll finally fall in love” she said, patting her back….

Susan vomited blood again while coughing hærd, this is the fourth time it’s happening in the last one week and right now, maybe she needs to visit the hospital
She came out of the bathroom and went to the kitchen to rinse her mouth with water before going into her room
She sat in front of the mirror and coughed slightly
Her face is pale and her eyeballs are losing colour…
“I should rub power often to hide the change in my face…. and I should take more than enough blood tonic maybe that’ll make my eyeballs come to normal… and I hope this is not something critical” she thought

Night**
Philip entered his practice room again, with Melanie this time around
He put on the lights and she got to see the things she didn’t see clearly the other time
His booth, and the systems… his cute live concert pictures
“How many live concerts did you do before quitting?” She asked
” Thirty live concerts…. Thirty five albums…I attended Thirty shows too” he replied
” Oh… Cool” she replied, pressing a button in the keyboard…it sounded
” I wish I know how to play it” she replied
“Do you want me to teach you?” He asked
” Maybe” she replied
He smiled and picked a picture book from the table
He gave it to her
“Check it out” he said
She took it and sat on a chair, she placed it on a table and opened to the first page…. it contains a picture he took with Stella….they look happy but why will Stella leave a man like him?” She wondered
The second page and almost fifty other pages contains Robin’s picture as a child
He’s cute!
“He has been cute since he was born” she said, smiling as he checked them out
” Like me” Philip replied, sitting beside her as she opened to the last page of Robin’s childhood picture
“That’s me” Philip said
“You or Robin?” She said unbelievably
“Me, my childhood picture” he replied
“Damn!, When you both were small you were alike….. and too cute!” She exclaimed
He smiled and slipped his hand on her wa-ist, pulling her closer on the chair
“I know” he said
She kept smiling and staring at it a lot
” You’re crushing on the little Phil?” He said
“Seriously” she replied, opening to another page
It’s a picture of him and another guy
“That’s Leo, my keyboardist…the one in Korea” Philip said
” He’s handsome too” she said
“she held her face immediately and made her face him
“I should be the only handsome man in the world to you” he said cutely
She smiled before facing the book again
Several pictures of him and Leo and the rest of it is Philip’s personal pictures…
Gosh!, He’s cute!
In every color he wears or any style he choose, he’s always good in everything
“I love this particular one” she said, pointing at the one in which he gave the love sign with a wink
“Yeah I love it most too” he replied beside her
She looked at him and without giving her chance to talk, he kssed her deeply
She quickly held his sides and went down on her back , lying on the couch
“I love you sweetheart” he said
She hugged him in reply
They later stood and he went to the keyboard, he sat and she stood beside him but he pulled her to sit beside him
“Your phone” he said
He gave him her phone and he opened a drawer beside the keyboard, he brought out a memory card which he ins**ted into her phone
“It contains all my songs, listen to it all the time, you need to tell me your favorite among it all” he said
She nodded
” What’s your favorite among all your songs?” She asked
“The one I sang when Robin was born though I didn’t release it before Stella left so it’s only I and Leo that has ever listened to it, but now you’ll be the third person cos I’m singing it now” he replied
“what’s the title?” She asked
” My Cute Little Baby” he replied and stretched his arms before playing the lovely intro in the keyboard
He started singing slowly with the keyboard sound

She hugged him immediately he finished singing
“Even without listening to the other ones, this is my favorite” she said
” Really?, Then we have same taste” he replied, rubbing her back
” I wish you’ll sing again” she said, closing her eyes…

Valerie breathed hærd again, staring at her phone, she made to dial Dwayne’s number again but she dropped the phone again
.her fears won’t let her
“What if he yells at me?, What if he’s still mad at me?, What if he won’t pick my calls?” She asked herself
She stared at her phone for almost thirty minutes, almost going crazy , she’s missing him and their talks greatly, she has gotten used to him even more than anyone
Even though he’s grumpy but even his grumpiness looks cute to her
She covered her face with her palms
“I’m sad” she said slowly……

“Robin are you ok?” Melanie asked when they got to his room this morning and he’s still on bed
“Honey” he mumbled sleepily
“Rob…is something wrong?, It’s so uncommon of you to wake up late” Philip said
“I’m ok I promise, just damn tired” he replied, slowly getting up from bed
“Are you sure?, You look dull too” Melanie said
“I’m very sure, stop worrying you both” he replied and w¡dened his arms
Melanie carried her and went into the bathroom with him
They brushed together but it’s surprising that he’s not being a chatterbox like he used to be
Even during breakfast, he ate little, making them worry a lot
They both esc-rted him to the car and Philip decided to ask him again
“Rob what’s wrong?”
“Dad you know what?, You caused this, I told you to make fast moves, I want a mum but you ain’t doing anything” he replied
Philip found himself smiling
“So that’s why you’ve been acting strange huh?”
“Yes dad, I want honey to be my mother” he replied
“Don’t you worry, dad is already working on it” Philip replied
” Make it snappy please” he replied
” Its fine, you barely touched your breakfast, promise you’ll eat a lot at lunch and dinner” he said
” Promise” Robin replied and kssed him
Melanie came forward for a kss and hug too
“It’s fine honey, I’m fine now, I promise to be lively when I get back from school” he said
” I hope so” she replied as his car moved

Lighthouse highschool
Lillian suddenly bumped into someone while coming from the library where she picked a book
She looked up and her anger knew no bounds when she saw it’s Whitney
“Don’t tell me you’re blind, even my cat can see better” Lillian said
” You’re too rude for a bitch” Whitney replied
Lillian smiled
” You want some cute designs on your ugly face?” She said.
“And you think you can really touch my face” Whitney replied
“Well you just have to do something to deserve it, though punching your face without a reason won’t be bad but I’ll just let you be for now……” Lillian said and walked away after picking her book
” Freaking idiot” Whitney spat
Lillian got to class and met Valerie sitting quietly, like someone in deep thoughts
Dwayne is not in school and that has been a great bother..
“Valerie” she called but no answer, maybe she’s lost in thoughts
“Valerie” she called again, tapping her
She spranged up
“Huh!”
“At this rate you’ll go crazy, why don’t you call him?”..
“He might not pick my calls or he might just yell at me” she replied
” Just try first before jumping into conclusions” Lillian replied, patting her…
Darien brought out his phone and went to his pictures, he has several pictures of Valerie on his phone, the ones he secretly snapped
He car-ssed her cheeks from the picture
“No matter what it takes, you’ll be mine, so far I’m still Darien” he said silently

Night**
“I’m glad you’re back to the lively Robin” Melanie said after dinner
Robin talked and talked as usual
” Well I had a deal with dad, that’ll determine my mood tommorow morning too” he replied, standing up from the couch
” A deal?” Melanie said
“Don’t mind the rascal” Philip replied
Robin gave Philip signs
” I’ll go to sleep myself, goodnight honey, goodnight Dad, love you both!’ he said quickly and left for his room
“What was he talking about?” Melanie asked
” Father and son stuffs” he replied with a naughty smile
She made to sit on the couch but he pulled her back to himself, her chest made contact with his and she gasped sharply
“He has been asking me to make the right moves, he needs a mother” he said, stroking her hair
She kept her gaze fixed on him
” And I’m still waiting for when you’ll say what you feel” he said again as his eyes caught her ears
” I can’t believe I forgot what I got for you, silly me!” He said and let go of her
” Just a moment sweetheart” he said and rushed upstairs
.he came back two minutes later with a box containing blue earrings
Her eyes w¡dened at it’s beauty
He opened the box and helped her fix the earrings on her ears
It has a tiny stone in the middle and the body itself is in form of a blue flower
He smiled after fixing it
“I knew it, it fits you perfectly” he said, his smile got w¡der
Her heart Started the palpitations again and this time, she can even hear her own heartbeat
“I love you Melanie” Philip whispered
She kept staring at his face
” I’ll get my tab upstairs, I need to do something” he said and started climbing the stairs, he’s just placing his foot on the third stair when Melanie decided to talk…
“Phil?” She called
He looked back
“Yes sweetheart”
” I love you more” she said
His eyes w¡dened and that instant, he felt like it’s unreal
He stayed there for almost two minutes and they both kept staring at each other
He came back to her after that and held her wa-ist
“You said?” He said, wanting to hear it again
“I love you more than anything” she said , smiling radiantly
“Melanie” he said slowly as his palm made contact with her cheek
“Yes love” she replied
That reply almost drove him nuts
” Is this a dream?”
“No love,…I mean every word…..I love you a lot Phil, and I also want to stay with you forever” she said
His Immeasurable joy even caused confusion, he’s short of words to express how he felt that instant
She held the front of his shirt and pulled him closer with that, their l-ips met and she kssed him lovingly for long
“Tell me what I must do to make you sing again sweetheart” Melanie said, tilting up a bit to kss him shortly
She’s running out of patience, she can’t wait to have his l-ips back on hers again
“Just marry me” he said
She gave him a long stare before talking again…
“When should we start the wedding preparations?” She said, car-ssing his neck
” Is that a yes?”
” What do you think it is?, …. A big yes… Philip Albert I want to be yours forever….cos right now I can’t do without you anymore” she said, still breathing intensely
” Without you…. that’ll be the title of my comeback song….I can’t do without you either, I love you” he said
“I love you more and more….but right now just kss me badly….
