“You can’t guess how happy i am, you won’t just know it I’m telling you” Philip said after long minutes of rom-nce
They’re lying on the bed beside each other right now
“I love you” Melanie said
“Anytime you say that, I feel like the emperor of an empire” he replied, rubbing the back of her neck
Melanie smiled and dot his cheek, he held her hand and squeezed it gently…
“I just hope we’ll be happy forever, I pray so” she replied
“Sure sweetheart, I can’t lose you, trust me it’s dangerous” he replied..
” So now I’m…
“Robin’s mum…. He’ll be so happy!, I can’t wait to break the news to him” he replied
” I can’t wait too, I love him a lot too… And I’m promising never to leave the both of you…. ” She replied, rocking his cheeks
” Valid promise?, That no matter what happens, you’ll love and trust me” he said
*Valid promise” she replied with a big smile
“My heart is sounding thum thum!” He said
She laughed out loud at the shape of his l-ips when he was saying it
“What kind of sound is that” he said, still laughing
“I dunno” she replied and touched his chin
“You want me to grow beard?” He said
“No!, I hate beards” she replied quickly.
” I knew it” he replied and started car-ssing her l-ips
“It’s swollen a bit” he said
“Yours too” she replied, car-ssing his l-ips too
“Should we make it swell a bit more? ‘ he asked
” I actually don’t mind” she replied
He immediately ¢overed them with the sheets and soon, her m©ans can be heard again…

Next day*
“Darling!” Melanie exclaimed, entering Robin’s room with Philip
“Mum, Dad…. Am I correct?” He asked
Melanie looked at Phil and they both looked back at him
“Yes you are” they said at the same time
Robin’s eyes took over his face in happiness
” Like seriously?” He asked
“I mean it son!, She’s mine now so automatically… Technically… She’s your mother, so I finally got you a mother as promised” Philip said
Robin looked at Melanie for affirmation and she nodded positively
“OMG!!!” He scre-med and jumped into her arms
She carried her and he kssed her cheeks fondly
“I love you so much honey!” He said joyously
“Love you more dear” she replied, smiling too
Philip smiled as he watched too
“So now you’re not only my honey but also my mother.. gosh!, How cute!, Don’t worry I’ll protect you, I won’t allow anything bad to happen to you…. I’ll make sure you’re fine” he said just like an adult
” Adult kid…. little trouble” Philip said
Melanie laughed loudly
” So….on Saturday we’re going for a family shoot… ” Robin said
Philip nodded
” And one more thing…my love will be singing again” Melanie said
” You can’t be serious mummy” Robin said, feeling happiness of the highest order
” I’m damn serious, my Phil will be on stage again… he’ll make his comeback soon” she replied happily
Robin jumped down from his arms and went to Philip
He carried him too and he pecked him
“I love you daddy, I can’t wait to see you on stage” he said
“Me too” Melanie said
“Come here” Philip said
Melanie went to him and they did a family hug
” We’re cute!” Robin said loudly…
They went into the bathroom and brushed like one big happy family before going downstairs
Philip and Robin played games in the living room while Melanie cooked in the kitchen
They ate like happily, talking and laughing althrough
Robin later left for school while Philip left for work
Melanie went to see Susan…

“Daughter” Susan said, hugging her Immediately she showed up
“Mum, why are you like this?” She asked, noticing her eyes
” Like what?” Susan asked
“Your eyeballs, the colour changed somehow , are you ok mum?’ she asked
“Of course… don’t worry, I had a great flu this morning, maybe that’s what’s still showing in my eyes” she replied
” Oh… But you aren’t feeling the flu anymore right?” She asked, sitting with her on the couch
” At all, I’m fine now, by the way you look more pretty and your skin changed, it’s glowing now, Mr Albert is trying a lot” Susan said.
” Yes my love is doing his best” she replied knowingly
” Tell me something” Susan said, leaning in
“I’m getting married to him soon, I said yes last night…I love him a lot” she replied
” My gosh!, Melanie I can’t believe this!” Susan said and hugged her tightly
” Mum…”
” You know I never knew a day like this will still come, a day you’ll tell me you love a man…. Melanie you were hateful to men before…so you telling me right now that you love Mr Albert is just too surprising, I’m just glad you changed…I’m glad you overcame your trauma and everything..I’m glad you’re changed.. from hateful to jovial… Melanie I love you so much” Susan said, tearing up
” Mum don’t cry, that’ll only make me cry too….I’m fine and I want you to be fine too…I love you more mum, I love you” she replied
Susan broke the hug and wiped her tears
“And he’s also gonna be singing again”
“Really?, You’re a rare gem Melanie, thanks for making him change his mind, thanks a lot Melanie” Susan said and hugged her again…
” So you’re graduating on Friday”
“Sure mum”
” I can’t wait”

Philip dropped his phone with a big smile on his face, he just finished talking with his producer… owner of J-bliss music industry and he has already told him of his comeback… it’ll be announced tonight….
“Melanie” he said for the uptenth time today
It’s crazy that even after spending the wh0le night and morning with her, the one thing he does most at work is missing her
It’s crazy but he loves it
“Now let’s call my crazy Leo” he said, dialling his number…
He picked even when it had barely started ringing…
” Annyeonghaseyo, jal jinesseoyo?” Leo said over the phone
“Are you nuts?, I’m not Korean so speak English” he replied
” I just said hello, how are you?” Leo replied with a giggle
“even after seven long years” Philip replied
“I told you not to call if you still stand on not singing again” Leo replied
” And why do you think I called?” Philip said
” Don’t tell me….
“Yeah I’mma sing again” he replied

” Will I call you after seven long years just to joke?, Buddy I’m dying to be on stage again and I can’t wait to see you again!” Philip said loudly

“Don’t burst your voice box” Philip said
“How did it happen?, Stella came back?”
” Someone better than her, my sweetheart…you’ll meet her when you come” he replied, bitting his lip at the mention of his sweetheart
“How cute!, I’ve been waiting for this call for so many years buddy, playing keyboard to your songs is one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life so I can’t wait too… let’s say…on Saturday I’ll be in Paris” Leo said
” Like seriously?”
” Trust me.. salanghaeyo” Leo said
” I know that…I love you buddy” Philip replied
“momjosimahaseyo….it means take care of yourself yourself” Leo said
” Try talking to me with Korean when you finally arrive, I’ll break your head” Philip replied

Philip hung up with smiles allover his face

Evening**
Dwayne didn’t go to school today again, he has been sick since yesterday and it’s quiet hærd to even move
But it subsided today though he has not fully recuperated, he managed to get up and just find something to eat before taking fever fighter pills and sedatives…..
He slept throughout and when he woke up in the evening, he feels better…
He picked his phone and the first person to come to his head in none other but Valerie
He dialled her number..

Valerie can’t concentrate, Dwayne wasn’t in school today either and it’s a bother to her…a lot
“Is it because he’s still so angry very much that he doesn’t want to see my face?” She wondered in front of her mirror
She checked out her face
“I’m pretty, but annoying” she said and placed her head on her table
She misses him greatly and can’t even bring herself to call him
Tears are about to fall from her eyes again when her phone rang
“Without doubt it’s Lillian” she thought but was beyond shocked when she saw the caller
. Dwayne!
Her heart skipped beats as she picked with shaky hands
“D.. Dwayne?’ she stammered
” Val….can you come to the archery range not far from the school right now?, I’m waiting” he said..
” Huh?, Yeah!, Yeah I’m coming!” She said hurriedly and quickly looked for what to change into in the wardrobe…
She finished dressing up and ran past Susan in the living room
“Valerie.. where to?”
“I’ll be back mum!… just one hour!” She replied without looking back
She board a cab to the place he mentioned and did breathing in and out for about three minutes before entering the place
He’s sitting with his back on her
She walked slowly to him and stood behind him, unable to tell him he’s here
But he knows already, he suddenly looked back and her heart almost flew off
“You’ve been standing there for five minutes, why?, Are you scared of me now?” He said
” I….I’m not” she replied awkwardly
“Then come” he said
She walked slowly to him and sat beside him
“You weren’t in school yesterday and today, you must be so angry that you don’t want to see my face.. that’s why you didn’t come” she said slowly, picking on her nails
” says who?” He said
“That’s what…I just.. thought” she replied
” I was sick” he said
Her eyes w¡dened and she looked up swiftly
“You’re ok now right?, You made sure you took medications right? , Did you go to the hospital?* She said
“Miss nagging….well I took medications…. and I’m fine now” he replied
She faced down again and continued picking on her nails
“You’re nervous” he said, staring at her nails she’s picking on
“I’m not” she replied
“Lair….you know people are bound to make mistakes,.. so far we’re humans, we’re both at fault and……
“I’m sorry” they both said at the same time…
They finally looked up at each other and smiled, seeing his smile like this again means a lot to her
And having her to talk to is the best… To him
“Nice gown” he said, giggling silently
She looked at her gown and saw she’s wearing the inner part instead of the outer part
“Gosh” she said silently, hiding her face in embarrassment….
He smiled and stood, he took off his cardigan even when it’s cold
He covered her with it and she looked up in surprise…
“It won’t be good if people start staring at it” he said
She smiled and stood too
“you’re not leaving yet are you?” He said
“No I’m not” she replied
” So where should we go? ” He asked
” Before that… I want to ask you something” she replied
” What? ”
” Can I…. Hug you? ” She asked
” Why? ” He replied
” I just…. Want to” she replied slowly
” What will I get for the hug? ” He asked
” Who gets payed for an hug” she replied
” Me” he replied
“I’ll buy you a cute bracelet” she said
“Bracelet?, Sounds cool” he replied and offered an handshake
*Why should I shake your hand?” She asked
” Just do it” he replied
She shake his hand and he pulled her closer by the hand,…he hugged her
Her eyes almost popped out of their sockets in shock
“I’m expecting my bracelet….Retarded” he said, smiling on her shoulder…
“Let’s go shoot fireworks together…. Grumpy Bear” she replied with an happy smile, interlocking her hands on his back….
