Sally sat in front of him and dropped some files
” Your signature sir, it’s for the A&S” she said
He signed it instantly and she took it…
“Alright sir” she said and took it
“Bestie!” Leo said, entering the office
“Whoa!, This place has changed a lot just like you * he said, looking around the office
Sally stood and Leo smiled when he saw her
“Sally, meet my best friend and keyboardist…. Leo…meet my manager.. Sally” Philip said
” Good morning sir” Sally greeted with a bow
” Good to see you….. and nice to meet you” he said
“Same here sir…
” Go$h! , I hate this sir of a thing, can you please remove it from my name?, We’re same age, I can feel it” Leo said…
Sally smiled
” As my boss’s friend..I can’t…
“It doesn’t matter, Philip you should tell her how much I hate people addressing me as sir” Leo said, sitting down
” Ok Sally.. just do as he wants, address him without sir, just go with Mr Leo Sancho ok?” Philip said
” Ok boss” she replied and left
” She’s beautiful!” Leo said Immediately after she had left
“So?” Philip said…
“Nothing, just appreciating her” Leo replied
Philip arched a brow
” Leo the master planner!, I gat you” he said
“I’ll hit you” Leo replied with a smile and they both laughed
“Rehearsal starts by 7pm prompt tonight” Philip said
” I know, and I’m prepared as usual, your magazines are selling fast and your industry is doing a good job in disseminating your cute wallpapers… like the studio you used still remains the best” Leo said
” I know, Glow studios are the best of the best” he replied
“When are you guys going to check out your wedding dresses?” Leo asked
” Tommorow” Philip replied
” So I’mma be the best man, who’ll be the chief bridesmaid? ” Leo asked
” Sally, she’s like a sis and a friend to my sweetheart” Philip replied
Leo smiled
“Cool” he said
” Hope this is not what I’m thinking?”
“What the he.ll are you thinking, pe.rvert!” Leo replied…
Philip laughed out loud
” Philip” leo suddenly called
“Yes?”
“What if Stella comes back?” He asked
“None of my business, I’ve already annulled our marriage and I’ve signed the annulling certificate, if she shows up, I’ll throw it at her face, it’s left for her to sign her part … I really don’t want to talk about a bitch” he said
” Ok…I’m sorry for bringing her up, I can’t wait to welcome mummy Carolyn back home” Leo said
” Mum…I can’t wait to see her again, she left Paris when Robin turned six last year” Philip said
” Robin….your son is something else ” Leo said
Philip laughed
” Yeah, that’s what I deal with everyday but trust me he’s the most lovely kid you’ll ever find” Philip said
” Yeah I know, he’s one of a kind” Leo replied…

Next day, Angelina kiddies school
Robin sighed after the female English teacher brought the class to an end, he has been thinking about the book and how to get it and read it, and also, his chest pain is eating him up
“Are you ok?, You’ve been quite?” Michelle asked beside him
” Yeah… I’m just worried about two things” he said
“Share them with me, I might be be of help” she said
” Ion think so” he replied
” But I want to hear about it” Michelle insisted
” Ok, do you perhaps know what can possibly cause chest pain? ” He asked
” Maybe too much stress” she replied
” But I’m not stressing myself* he said
“Your stubbornness itself is stress” Michelle said
Robin smiled
” The second one?” She asked
“It’s about a book, Mystery Of The Dark Room, I really want to know what happened in there” he replied
” We should ask the English teacher, she might know” Michelle replied
“Why haven’t I thought of it?, Let’s go” he said
They left the class and left for the staffs room where they met Miss Dora the English teacher
“Robin… Michelle, hope all is well?” She asked
“Yes ma’am, we’re just here to ask something” Michelle replied and nudged Robin to speak
” About a book, Mystery Of The Dark Room, I really am curious to know what it entails” Robin said
” Oh, the most popular horror novel right now… I’m not a fan of horror novels but my friend is a fan, in the volume 1 of the book, the wife of prince Hades left him and that made him lose his sweet voice and inspiration to sing, he has to go into the dangerous Dark Room in the cave of the emotionless to look for a second love that’ll stay with him forever and make his inspiration come back…. Then in the volume two, it’s too horrific and I can’t tell you” Miss Dora said
” Miss please… ” Robin said
” Don’t be stubborn Robin”
” Ok Miss” he replied sadly and left with Michelle
” Why won’t she tell us what happened in the volume two?, Hearing the volume one, I think I’m interested in reading the volume two” Michelle said
” Then let’s do it like this, first person to read it will narrate it to the second person” Robin said
” Deal” Michelle replied…

D-Unique wedding wardrobes**
“She has finished trying on the gown” an attendant said to Philip who’s busy on his laptop, he has been busy like that since Monday
He looked up and dropped the laptop, he’s already wearing the suit too
“I should have a glance” he said
The attendant bowed before leaving…
The white curtains were lifted and it revealed a fallen angel
He stood without knowing it
She looks different and just too dishy in that wedding gown
Well it’s worth it, the designer is the best for VIPs
“You look more handsome in that White suit” Melanie said with smiles allover her pretty face
“You look….. I dunno what to qualify you with, Melanie you’re too beautiful,… Gosh!, I’m lucky!” He said loudly
Melanie smiled and blushed greatly as they stood, smiling at each other…
They later left the place , taking the dresses along ..

Evening**
“Should I break the ice now?, I feel like it’ll be too shocking if I break it tomorrow morning” Philip said during dinner…
” What?, That your mum is coming tomorrow?” Melanie said with a mocking smile
” What!, How did you find out?” Philip said surprisingly
Robin kept his face down, eating silently and smiling mischievously
Leo has started laughing, he’s there already for rehearsal and he has no choice but to eat Melanie’s delicious dinner with them
“I have my ways” Melanie replied and winked
Philip shifted his gaze to Robin who has been quite all along
“Rob” he said slowly
“Yes dad” he answered slowly too, looking up with that smile still on his face
“Robin”
“Yes dad?” He replied
“Robinson”
“Dad” he replied, standing up from the chair, Philip stood too
Robin rushed out of the dinning room before Philip could get him…
He stayed by the stair rails and started laughing uncontrollably
“You think I’ll allow you to give my mum a great shock tommorow morning?, I’ve told her since Saturday since we’re the best of friends, right mummy?” Robin said with a wink
” Yeah, surest son on Earth” Melanie replied from the dinning
Leo can’t help but laugh out loud, only God knows why he hasn’t choked
“I love you” Robin said, blowing ksses to Melanie
“Love you more dear” she replied, blowing k-sses too
Philip sat
” Oh my go$h” he said, smiling slowly
“Now is your turn to say OMG” Leo said and continued laughing

Next day, Lighthouse highschool*
“I hope you all read well for your exams, reading makes everything easy” the ethics teacher said after her class
” Reading makes nothing easy, what if the teachers don’t set what we read” a student said
” You have to read everything in your book” the teacher replied
” Miss..” they all gro-ned
She smiled before leaving the class…
“Who’s also going for MV’s concert on Friday?” A student asked
“Everyone!” They all scre-med and sat in groups to talk about it, it’s all about the concert
The dates they’re going with, the dress, girls and makeup and so on…
“You’re going with Dwayne?” Lillian asked Valerie
“Sure, we’re going together, you should come with us” Valerie said
*And be the third wheel?, No I can’t spoil the fun for you guys, I’ll go with my junior sis” Lillian replied
Whitney left her seat and went to Dwayne’s seat, she sat on his table and took the book he’s reading from him
Dwayne removed his earpiece and faced her
“Go to the concert with me.. please” Whitney said
Dwayne smiled shortly before standing
He pushed her off his table and she fell from it to the ground, hurting her arm
She looked at her hurt arm and looked back at him
“Dwayne…
” You made three mistakes…first you sat on my table with your f!lthy bum, second you took the book I’m reading from me with your unpresentable hands, third you asked me to go to a concert with you..with your reeking mouth, I’m letting you know so you won’t make same mistake twice” he said and threw the book at her before leaving the class quietly
“That arrogant je.rk, he’s making everything difficult, I should talk to mum and dad about this” Darien thought
Valerie went out too and met him at the garden…
“Sorry about Whitney” she said
“You’re not Whitney so stop saying that on her behalf” he replied
*She made you angry, it’s been long since I saw your angry eyes” she said…
He smiled and pulled her closer
” You look more pretty today” he said with a bright smile
Her heart fluttered at that comment.
She looked up at him and the first thing her eyes caught is his l-ips but she quickly looked away
“Thanks, you look more adorable these days, no bruises or swells” she replied
He hugged her immediately, feeling something he can’t pinpoint, his heart is palpitating a lot
“Is your heart also beating fast?” He suddenly asked, still hugging her
She’s surprised at the question but she decided to be faithful
She looked at him and smiled
“Yeah, faster than ever” she replied
He placed her head back on his chest
” Staying like this with you makes me feel different” he said…

Next day, airport**
Philip waited anxiously with Melanie and Robin with Leo at the airport for when his mum’s plane will land
Melanie is a little bit scared but she tried hærd to comport herself when her plane finally landed…
Then she sighted a beautiful woman coming their direction, she’s wearing glasses and trousers with heels, making her look younger
She finally got to them and Philip hugged him tightly Immediately
“Mum” he said in her arms
“Kinky son….. Philip MV” she replied, smiling widely
“I missed you a lot” he said
“Same here son, I missed you but I miss my Robin more” she replied and Immediately carried Robin
“Pretty grandma” he said, pecking her
“Handsome grandson” she replied, pecking him too
“Are you still stubborn?” Carolyn asked
*As much as you can remember” he replied
Carolyn laughed and faced Melanie, without talking, she hugged her
Melanie can’t explain the happiness she felt that moment,her mother inlaw just hugged her…
“Melanie thanks for coming into my son’s life, thanks for rebuilding his dilapidated life…. thanks for everything, I love you a lot…. and for the fact that you’re pretty too like he has been saying on phone, I’m glad to have a pretty daughter in-law” she said, breaking the hug
” I love you too mum” she replied happily
“I can’t wait to watch you two walk down the aisle… and the concert…I can’t wait!” She said, facing Leo
” HNP” she said and they stuck hands
” Good to see you again after a long time, thanks for coming back for my son” she said
” It’s nothing ma’am, playing keyboard to his songs is what I love doing most” he replied…
“so what’s HNP grandma?” Robin asked
” Horror novel partner” Carolyn replied and they all laughed before getting in the car…..
FRIDAY NIGHT**
Philip is in,side the dressing room with Leo.. Leo is still dressing up while Philip has finished dressing up and Ginger is busy making up for him
Fans are already entering in folds into the big main hall for the concert…
Melanie, Robin and Carolyn stayed in another room, waiting for when the two friends will come out of the dressing room
“I can’t wait to see dad on stage again” Robin said happily
He’s dressed like a rockstar with stud in his ear, just that he’s wearing no cap
Melanie is wearing a blue flowing gown with light makeup
Pretty grandma Carolyn is wearing trousers and jacket… looking as regal as usual
You won’t believe she gave birth to Philip, she looks younger than her age a lot…still glowing at fifty
“I’ll be right back” she said , leaving Robin and Melanie
She went to the dressing room and peeped in
Leo has finished dressing up now, he’s receiving make up from one of Ginger’s apprentice
But Carolyn noticed Ginger’s moves, trying to touch Philip’s th-gh but he held her hand
“MV you can’t be like this…I love everything about you and you’re just…. ignoring my moves” she said sed-ctively
” You’re done with my makeup right?, Go, and I don’t think I need you ever again, you’re behaving like a wh-re” he replied, standing up
” MV please….
Philip went into the inner room, ignoring her
Leo giggled
Ginger is coming out when Carolyn grabbed her hand and dragged her into a restroom…
“Madam!” She yelled
“Nutmeg….ion care whatever you are, what you just did is called trespassing, touching my son is prohibited so stay on your lane to avoid trouble from me, pro$titute!, you should go into pro$titution instead of being a make-up artist… it’ll fit you better and you’ll make it there…bch!” She said before storming out of the place…
“Sht!” Ginger ranted…
Valerie entered the hall with Dwayne, hand in hand, they took their seats in the shinning hall with over five thousand people, the hall is quite big ..
Melanie entered the main hall and sat in the front seat with Robin and Susan as VIPs
Minutes later, the MC announced the arrival of one of the prestigious singers in Paris….MV, for the ten minutes concert with his song…. WITHOUT YOU
The fans almost brought down the hall with scre-ms as he entered the stage with Leo who sat in front of the keyboard straight

Carolyn just kept smiling

The noise died down when Leo played the intro to the song and MV entered

Melanie is unaware of when she stood and did what she wasn’t expecting herself to do
She climbed up the stage, taking the people by surprise
They all went quiet and only the sound of her heels can be heard as she walked to him
Phil can’t stop smiling as she kept walking closer till she got to him
She took the microphone from him…
“I love you MV” she said and then threw down the microphone
She pulled him closer and he never hesitated to hold her wa-ist as their l-ips met in a deep kss on stage…
Everyone scre-med in shock, surprise, .. just mention it..
Leo picked the mic …
“You just saw his Cinderella” he said
The fans scre-med and shouted….
Carolyn is too happy
Robin kept clapping and smiling
Valerie and Dwayne kept feeling their heartbeats
