HIS RUDE CHEF
CHAPTER 32
Fans are still shouting… scre-ming… almost bursting their voice boxes as a result of much excitement
“I love you sweetheart” Philip said
“Love you more darling” she replied
They eventually hugged tightly and that brought another loud scre-m of excitement from the fans
Robin felt like it’s time for him to climb up too
He went up the stage and Philip carried him
*His son!*

“Love you Daddy, love you mum” he said and pecked them both
The concert ended and everyone wants even an hug from MV and Leo as they climbed down the stage but that was stopped by the guards
They were guarded till they left the hall, got in the car and drove off
“Lillian!” Valerie called when she suddenly saw her with her junior sis
“Valerie!” She replied, coming to her
“Oh Dwayne! ‘ she waved
Dwayne waved back simply
“Just smile will you? ‘ Lillian said with a scowl
” He smiles” Valerie said
“Oh… Maybe not for me” Lillian replied
“Hi” Valerie waved at Lillian’s sis
“Hey I’m Hannah, Hann for short” she said
“Nice name, how come I’ve never met you before?, When we were still in primary school, I do visit Lillian a lot”. Valerie said
” She was with our grandma then” Lillian said
” By the way you both look alike, anyone with two eyes will know you’re sisters without asking” Valerie said
” I know right?” Lillian replied while Hann only smiled
“The concert was….
” Awesome!!! ” Lillian scre-med
“Val, you’ll meet me in the car right?” Dwayne said
” Sure” she replied and left for the car
” He really smiles?, It doesn’t look like it” Lillian said
” He smiles a lot anytime we’re both together” Valerie replied
“Lucky you, by the way your sis is damn!, I mean too rom-ntic, who could have thought she’ll do that?, I was jealous althrough, she’s so beautiful and MV is handsome too, his son is cute, they’ll make a cute family and anytime your sis gets pregnant, shes sure to birth a cute little baby ” Lillian said
” Oh you didn’t meet MV’s mum?” Valerie said
“No, she was there?”
“Of course, now I know where MV got the handsomeness from, I mean the woman still looks young despite the fact that she’s old already” Valerie said
” I wish I had seen her” Lillian pouted
“Maybe some other day…ion want to keep Dwayne waiting” Valerie replied
” Sure, go meet your potential boyfriend” Lillian replied
Valerie smiled before waving
“Bye Hann” she said
“Bye Valerie” she waved back
“See ya in school on Monday, I’ll call you” Lillian said before they went their separate ways
Valerie went to the car and met Dwayne resting his back on the chair with his eyes closed
“I’m sorry I took long” she said
He opened his eyes and looked at her till he started smiling
“Why do you say sorry at everything” he said
She started picking on her nails again
” That again?, Why are you always nervous around me?” He said
” I’m not nervous” she replied
“Lair…..the concert was…
” Perfect!” She interrupted and pinched herself immediately
He smiled and his hand went to her hair
he stroked it gently
She looked at him and smiled
“Thanks for coming with me” he said
“Why are you thanking me?” She said
” Despite the fact that I love his songs , I wouldn’t have come if not for you” he replied
She smiled more widely as he took his hand away from her hair
“Thanks to you, I had fun today again” he said and proceeded to holding her hand
That made her body shake as if currents passed through the wh0le of it
He gently squeezed her hand before letting go of it
He started the drive back home, he dropped her in her house before proceeding to his house
He got home and stayed by the door for almost ten minutes, feeling lonely again
“I want to be with her again” he thought when he eventually fell on the couch

” Same car, same guy” Susan said Immediately Valerie got home
She’d have gone to the concert but what if her sickness comes up there?, That’ll be a mess so instead of going to the concert, she went to the hospital for a check-up..
And seriously the result of the check-up is…..

“He’s my friend mum” Valerie replied, all smiles
“Isn’t that the guy you went to New York with?, Your crush?” Susan said, sitting on the couch with her
” Yes” Valerie replied
“I knew it” Susan said as Valerie got herself a cup of water from their new freezer, yeah they now have new housewares
“How was the concert?” Susan asked…
“It’s the Best place I’ve ever been to, it was fab, mum MV was fabulous, and I even made a video” she said and brought out her phone to show the video of how Melanie climbed up the stage to kss Philip
Susan covered her mouth in surprise
“Is this really my daughter?, Like this is my Melanie?, How cute!, She has changed from the hateful frowny girl completely” Susan said, hiding her tears…
” She’s too cute” Valerie said
“I can’t wait to see her walking down the aisle with Philip on Sunday” Susan said
” Me too, my dress will be ready tommorow, I, Lillian and Sally are her only maids” Valerie said
” I can’t seriously wait” Susan said
” After their wedding on Sunday, they’ll be going on a one week honeymoon Straight” Valerie said
” Why are you saying it as if I don’t know” Susan said
“Just felt like doing that” Valerie replied , smiling
” The album will be released by 12am tonight, I’ll be the first one to download that song, it’s obvious he sang if for my sis cos the lines are … One of a kind” Valerie said
” And news flash, we’re moving to a new house on Monday, a more bigger and spacious one” Susan said
” Go$h!, I’ve been expecting that!” Valerie said happily
” I’ll be meeting with madam Carolyn tomorrow” Susan said
” MV’s mother?, Please can I go with you?’ Valerie asked
” Not allowed” Susan replied and went in
“Mum!!!” She scre-med, dipping her face in the couch…

” Success!, Yeah!!!” Philip said happily as he hit wine cup with Leo
Carolyn, Melanie and Robin are smiling brightly too
Philip hugged Leo
“WITHOUT YOU is what people are talking about in the city right now, MV you’re the real deal” Leo said
“it won’t have happened without you” Philip replied
Leo smiled and they hugged again…
” I’m proud of you son” Carolyn said
“Much love mum” he replied, hugging her
” And to my woman, that move you made surprised me and I love it… but I love you more” Philip said and hugged Melanie longer, kssing her neck in the process

“And my cute boy, I heart you a lot” he said, bending beside Robin, he hugged him

“When the Industry releases the album by 12am prompt, I’ll be the first to download it” Melanie said
Philip smiled widely
*I’m meeting with your mum tomorrow dear, can’t wait to meet that virtuous woman who gave birth to a queen” Carolyn said
Melanie smiled in reply..
Carolyn and Leo later left for their separate houses though Philip and Melanie convinced Carolyn to sleep in the house but she declined, saying the best thing they need now is privacy…
Robin is already sleeping so Melanie took him to his room before proceeding to the room
Philip pulled her beside him.
“Silly” she muttered, inhaling much of his body scent…
“Ion know what I did to deserve a woman like you but I just know even if I don’t deserve you, I want to be greedy for once and make you mine completely on Sunday” he said
” My heart’s restless without you” Melanie said
” Stealing my song lines huh?” He said
“Yeah, it’s all for me, never knew I have golden hands till I heard the song, even at the fact that we live in the same house,ion know how you and Leo did it, I heard nothing during your rehearsals” she said
She kssed her nose before dotting her cheeks
“We have means” he said
“How?”
“If the door of that room is closed, no one can hear what’s going on in,side” he replied
” How clever” she replied
” I love you sweetheart, thanks for showing my fans how much you love me today” he said
” Love you more darling, thanks for making me proud, and I love the song like crazy” she said
” You’re all I have in my head while writing it so there’s no way you won’t love it” he replied
She kssed him deeply instantly and when she broke it, she inhaled softly and rested on his chest
“I’m not sleeping till twelve, I want to be the first one to download it when the industry releases it” she said
“you don’t have to do that, it’s with me already so all you have to do is pick your phone and send it ” he said
Melanie stood and grabbed his phone
She quickly did the transfer and played it immediately
“The final recording, it wasn’t done here right? ‘ she asked
“Yeah. We did that in the industry” he replied
She hugged him

At a private Restaurant**
Susan came in in her slow but smart walking steps, she was directed to where Carolyn is sitting, waiting for her
“Madam….
” No Susan, I’m Carolyn, call me Carolyn” Carolyn interrupted
” But I’m just fifty and…
“I’m fifty too” Carolyn replied with a wide smile as Susan sat
“Ok, I gat that, we agreed to meet at four, this is exactly four and you’re already waiting” Susan said
” It’s because I can’t wait to meet you, I must say you’re lucky to have given birth to a daughter like Melanie, and I’m luckier to have her as my son’s bride to be” Carolyn said
Susan smiled
” I agree, my daughter is a rare kind….but your son is also one of a kind, you’re lucky to have him as your son but I’m luckier to have him as my daughter’s husband to be” Susan replied
They both smiled as the servers arrived
“I’m ok with just wine” Susan said
“Why?” Carolyn asked
” Nothing, I just don’t feel like eating anything, I’m too happy, I’m overfed with happiness” Susan replied
*Ok, bring us a bottle of …
“Any wine” Susan replied
“She’ll like my usual wine, that’ll be ok” Carolyn said
The server left

Susan blushed and smiled
“And luckily we’re same stature and height” Carolyn said

A guard brought in two boxes
” It contains a designer dress and shoes, including the purse and accessories… it’s the first order, I placed it on Thursday Friday and it arrived instantly, I want us to dress in same clothes to the wedding, let’s rock” Carolyn said

” Yes, what’s your shoe size?”
“30” Susan replied
” Cool, same shoe size too, we’re destined to be….let’s rock the wedding together tomorrow .. sure?” Carolyn asked
” Sure” she replied with smiles…

“I really wish…you can wake up and just watch me tommorow” she said again
Philip kept patting her back slowly
“Dad you need to wake up soon”
“I really want to see your charming smile again, I want to see you smiling tommorow during my wedding” she said, she’s about to start crying when Philip held her
She stood and he hugged her
“It’s ok, please don’t cry” he said, patting her back as she rest on his shoulder..

Next day, a big events hall**
Valerie waited outside for Dwayne to come quick, he promised to come but he’s not here yet
She tried his line but he’s not picking and the wedding will soon start…
“Let’s go in” Lillian said behind her
“No, just a minute” she replied, dialling his number again
” Lover girl, meet me in,side” Lillian replied and went in
The three bride maids are wearing a lemon green flowing gown and their hairs were curled, falling on their shoulders, making them look different together with the makeup
Yeah, Ginger is fired… Miranda is the name of the new makeup artist, even more professional than the so-called Ginger
Valerie is about to dial his line again when his car stopped in front of the hall
Smiles spread on her face as he came down from his car
He’s wearing a wine shirt on black trousers and suit
He looks different from the normal Dwayne as he walked closer but surprisingly, he walked past her, giving her shock…
“Dwayne” she called, turning to look at him
He looked back slowly and their eyes met..
“You are…
” Like seriously?, Is this a joke?, You don’t know Valerie anymore?” She said
His eyes w¡dened and he slowly started coming closer in surprise, he kept looking at her without taking his eyes off for once
He got to her and looked at her face deeply…
“Val?”
“He’s really serious?, What’s so different about me?, Is it the flowing gown or the hair or the makeup or…
He hugged her at that point, making the rest of the words stuck at her throat
“Everything about you is different, everything Val…you look more pretty, too pretty that I don’t even recognize you anymore” he said during the hug
She smiled and rubbed his back slightly before they broke it
His heart is giving that irregular sound again… slamming on his chest
When he can’t control it anymore, he pecked her
Her eyes revealed how surprised she is…. it took over her face
“Let’s go in” he said, taking her hand
She smiled and slightly touched her red cheeks as she went in with him
He sat in the middle of the crowd while Valerie went into the dressing room cos the bride and groom are about to come out already
Then Susan and Carolyn entered at a time, wearing same dress, same bag, same shoes, same necklace, even earrings and hairpins
People exclaimed in amazement at the love blooming as they entered elegantly, they sat beside each other with smiles
The mc announced the coming out of the bride and groom
It was Robin who came out first, dressed in a white suit just like his dad with a cute basket of roses
He sprinkled the roses on their path as Philip and Melanie came out hand in hand
Everyone clapped at the beautiful entry
Melanie’s hair was packed and dressed in a neat bun and a pretty hairpin is attached to the base, her full hair edge became glaring cos gel was added to make it look more different
Her makeup is light but making sense
Her gown is too beautiful but not like her.. Melanie looks gorgeous
Philip’s hairstyle changed, he removed the bangs and the difference came out handsomely
The l¡pstick made his l-ips look more kssable and his face looks more hot..
Valerie, Susan and Sally followed behind while Leo walked in gallantly after them
His eyes met with Sally and he smiled
Sally looked away and smiled secretly…
Valerie’s eyes found Dwayne, they smiled at each other and he eventually winked, almost making her fall with that cos her knees lost balance as a result of it but she held herself
Philip and Melanie walked Straight to the Mc in the front and took their vows
“I just wish Zayn is here, you should be here to witness your daughter’s wedding” Susan thought sadly
They exchanged rings after the vows and kssed deeply
Then they showed off the rings to the audience and received a loud applause and scre-ms
Cutest couple ever…
Susan and Carolyn came up to give them hugs and pecks….
Melanie threw the flower and Valerie caught it
“Even when I’m not ready for marriage yet” she said, laughing with Lillian
” Michelle!* Robin said gladly when he saw her with her dad amidst the crowd
They waved at each other as the bride and groom left the hall, they got in their car and drove off
Honeymoon Straight in an island..
Robin will be staying with grandma Carolyn till they’ll be back
Valerie went back to Dwayne after saying bye to Lillian, they left the place together
“The wedding was cute” Valerie said when they got to the car
” Yeah, just like you” he replied and before she knew it, he pecked her again
