God has always been God..he never changes..he does miraculous things..I sang songs of praises to the most high..*

Three years later..?

I and Mary were in our final years of college..in the same school..though I studied medicine..while Mary studied mass communication..both of us..has been doing great..and after this upcoming exams..it’s final year..time dashes so quickly..what a world..I thought while I and Mary were gisting..

Mary:at last girl..

Theresa:yes o..I’m just too excited..

Mary:don’t you think it’s high time you go visit your mother..in the village..?years had passed now..and everyone thinks you are no where to be found..and some may even assume you are dead..

Theresa:I’ll see her..maybe when I eventually graduate..I just want to see the look on her face..when she sees her daughter..a graduate.. the daughter who she thought was dead..or missing..

Mary:it’s true.. she’ll be so happy to see you..

Theresa:yeah..

Mary:so how far..with uche..?he really likes you..I think you should give him a chance .

Theresa:give who?omo..we ve more important exams ahead of us..I don’t want anything to distract me..

Mrs Johnson:(outside the compound picking beans…while in deep thoughts)*hmm..my theresa..can’t just leave us..like that…I sent her to school..to study..and not to get pregnant..I don’t believe she’s dead…oh Lord.. wherever my baby girl is.. please protect her from the hands of the evil ones..*

The day finally came..few years passed..on..and it was a beautiful day for our graduation party…???To God be the glory…we made it safely with our education in Abuja..and now we are now graduates of Abuja university..we took pictures looking stunning in our graduation dress..as aunty stella took some pictures with..us..still in Abuja..instead of going home straight..we decided to go celebrate…in one of the eateries..I..Mary and aunty stella walked into the eatery..”Food is ready”According to aunty stella it is knowned to be the best eatery in Abuja..Mary..and I..walked up to the receptionist to buy some snacks..after whacking..solid food..while aunty stella was sitted in our table.. pinging..

Waitress 1:fried..ch¡ps..and ketch up..right..?

Theresa:yes..

*Just then a young man walked in..dressed in a blue polo..and shorts..wearing sunglasses as he didn’t join the line..he just walked straight to waitress 1..

Nicholas:hey..

Waitress 1:(gives theresa the ch¡ps and ketchup in a nylon..as theresa pays her)customer.. customer…(hailing Nicholas)

Nicholas:(removed his shades as he sees theresa..)theresa..Theresa Johnson.. Theresa..!!(taps theresa gently)

Theresa:sorry..do I know you?

Nicholas: Theresa…it’s me..it’s Nicholas… Nicholas from.. Micheal’s birthday…

Theresa:oh..nicholas..wow..it’s you…

Nicholas:yeah..am so glad to see you..!(hugged theresa)

*Today’s is indeed a blessed day..graduating and meeting my long time..I would say helper..because he gave me some money then…he’s so handsome more than before and he looks more matured..aunty stella..and mary had left us both at the restaurant when they noticed I didn’t even paid attention to them..I was lost in discussions with Nicholas..d–n..he’s so sweet..I don’t think he’ll ever change..handsome as always..we both exchanged contacts..and promised to keep in touch with one another..*

 

We went back to Lagos..and as I said..earlier..I and Nicholas were still calling each other as I chatted with him on WhatsApp..not a day goes by..does he not call..me..even when he’s about to sleep..there was a day he called me to sing a lullaby for him through the phone just to make him sleep..how silly…to me it wasn’t silly..Day by day we grew much closer to each other..that he even had to relocate to Lagos..just to see my face..over and over again… I’m not sure of what I feel..but anytime he comes closer to me..I feel very awkward..very awkward..and I really don’t know why..I was starting to develop a bit of feeling for him..and it’s just crazy…I can’t believe..this..am I actually falling in love?and just then my phone beeped..

Theresa: Nico..but you just called me few minutes ago..

Nicholas:yeah…I really wanna see you..I miss you so much.. already..

Theresa: quit teasing..

Nicholas:no am..not..let’s meet at my apartment..now..

Theresa:and what if I say I can’t make it .

Nicholas:and I’ll just ve to come to your house then..

Theresa:no..no..no..I’ll come to your place now..

Nicholas:(laughs..)I love you..so much..

Theresa:whatever…

I hunged up like I didn’t care..but those three words i..love you.. really has an effect on me..anytime he says that..I just keep smiling for no reason..whatsoever..but there was something that..doesn’t seem right when he touches..me..like he has touched me before…*

Like he has touched me before..I jumped out of my room..and wore a very decent dress..as I quickly made my way to Nicholas’s apartment..which is not too far from our street..

(Nicholas apartment)

(Nicholas playing PS4 as theresa knocks)

Nicholas:(drops the gamepad..as he walked straight to open the door) Theresa..(smiles)

Theresa:Nico…

Nicholas:my….(hugged theresa tightly)

Theresa:uhmm..will you please let me in first?

Nicholas:yeah..yeah..!

*He quickly let go as he couldn’t stop staring at me..I was still standing..until..he broke the silence..*

Nicholas:please..settle down..and welcome to my house..

Theresa:yeah..thanks..nice place..(sits)

Nicholas:(still staring)

Theresa:(stands up as she moved closer to Nicholas….and gave him an unexpected punch on his shoulder) Nicholas..what are you staring at..?

Nicholas:uh..nothing..what would you like to drink?

Theresa:maybe just a glass of water..will do for now..(sits back on the couch)

Nicholas:anything you want my lady..(exits)

*And why is he being so formal now..this dude is kinda annoying..but the funniest part is that I like him just the way he is….and about few seconds..Nicholas returned..with a glass cup of water..as he gives it to me..and joined me in were I was seated on..

Nicholas:so how are you doing?

Theresa:good..(drinks the water..as she sees a writing…on the glass..says WILL)What’s this Will?

Nicholas:ugh..it’s nothing.. really..don’t mind me..I hope you comfortable with my apartment..

Theresa:yeah..it’s really nice..and my opinion doesn’t matters..sides..it’s yours..hey..do you mind showing me round the house..I really need to take some fresh air..

Nicholas:but it isn’t hot..here..

Theresa:nature gives the best breeze..(stands up)

Nicholas:alright..(takes the glass cup)

Theresa:you taking that outside too…?

Nicholas:yeah..

*Why is he acting so weird..ugh..we both walked out of the living room..to the compound as I saw a writing near the door step..”YOU”

Theresa:why’s there you here?

Nicholas:ugh..theresa..I told you it’s nothing to worry about..

*We were both discussing while I sat near the pool of his apartment..it was so d–n huge..like paradise.. Nicholas had gone to the bathroom..I turned to my left to see..a paper beside me..saying”BE”…what’s going on..in this house..why all the laters..is Nicholas trying to tell me something..I need to talk to Nicholas..I can’t keep on like this..I stood up..as I moved a step further..another writing on the wall..says..”MY”…

Theresa:what..again..?

Nicholas:(interrupted holding a rose flower)yeah again..here are these beautiful flowers for a pretty lady like you..

Theresa:(takes the flower)what’s the meaning of all these..?why the letters in the wall of your house..first..will..then you..and be..and my..what’s all that for..?(tries to fling the flower as she saw a letter..)what’s this one again?(opens the letter)*GIRLFRIEND*

Will..I be..your girlfriend?

Nicholas:yes..theresa..will you be my girlfriend?

Theresa:(sighed)

Nicholas:please don’t say no..have been waiting for this day..

Theresa:of course it’s a yes..

Nicholas:yes..(grabbed theresa by her wa-ists..as he hugged her tightly)yes..I knew you ll accept..me..I love you more than ever..

Theresa:I love you..too..

*And we both k-ssed deeply..I hope I made the right choice this time.. I really love Nicholas..and I hope this just last forever..I told my self..and I told him not to ever break my heart..because I’ll die if he does..have never felt this way..in my life..*

*Our relationsh¡p went for like a year..and he proposed to me..and obviously with everything i learnt about Nicholas..I accepted..to get married to him..because yes..he was my Mr Right..but what happens…when a past revelation comes to light..?

*I locked the gate after Nicholas droved..in..we both..walked straight to my parents..holding hands together

*My parents were so glad to see me…I too was very glad to see them..after so many years…I introduced Nicholas to them..and to them all about him..and my parents approved our marriage..so yes..we are getting married..I can’t wait .*
