Joel walked into his personal room with a laptop three minutes after Steve left the house. He felt the necessity to remove his clothes and laid quietly on the bed as he closed the door but he didn’t.
 
He carried the laptop with him and quickly approached the bed, he sat down quietly and opened the browser software on the laptop. He navigated to the search point instantly and typed in ‘Maidenfrem University” in the search.
 
Twenty one seconds later, the browser loaded and a picture of the institution appeared with several information about the university. He located the university website and opened it in a new tab, he switched to the tab and clicked on the main menu of the website after it loaded.
 
He switched to the main portal which has different sub categories and clicked on the second bar point where Academic was displayed. He waited for it to load before he switched to the search point again and typed in Queens library.
 
The picture of a big building appeared instantly with the instate displaying the library name. He clicked on the picture and several image appeared below the first picture with some inscribe showing some details about the building, its was the library image taken from different angles, both sides and its back, including some inner pictures of the library.
 
He paused and began to read the few inscription on the screen, the opened hours time and the closed hours where no one would be allowed into the library.
 
He scrolled down on the inscription and clicked on the point where read more were displayed. He was about to read after the browser loaded when he suddenly heard a sound outside.
 
Its was a loud cracked sound, like a mug smashed on the floor. He frowned and stand up, he moved towards the window where the sound had came from and opened the curtain. He looked outside but didn’t see anything.

Derrick opened his eyes again immediately he heard the third sound. He sprang up immediately on the bed and picked up a pistol under the pillow. He had taken off his shirt but was still wearing a singlet and his trouser still intact.
 
He rushed towards the door immediately and stepped out. He ran through the hallway and entered the room where the surveillance systems were placed.
 
There were about six different systems showing all the cons of the building and was arrange side by side in the room. He stepped close to the systems to watch the screen only to be surprised to see intruders around the compound. He cursed out immediately and moved to one of the computers.

Joel opened the door of the room immediately he heard the opening and closing sound made by Derrick. He stepped out into the hallway without closing his own door and looked up and down.
 
He took some steps forward and walked down to the room he heard the last sound only to see the door opened wide.
 
“Derrick” He called out and stepped forward, Seeing the door opened wide with Derrick holding a revolver.
 
“Joel, we have intruders in the compound. We are under attack” Derrick announced straightaway without wasting time after switching over all the footages.
 
 
“What !!” Joel exclaimed.
 
“There are different gunmen outside the compound and in,side”
 
“What !!” Joel made another serious exclamation and stepped close to the system to confirm.
 
Showing on the system were unknown gunmen all around the building but none of them had penetrated into the house yet. All the footages were showing their s₱0ts round the compound and outside the compound.
 
“Shi..ts what do we do?” Derrick turned to Joel and asked. He c*cked the pistol straightaway and took a step back from the laptop.
 
“Who the fu..ck are these people and how did they entered?” Joel asked with a baffled look. He held unto one of the system mouse and switched the footages, about five men were already penetrating the left side of the building and four at the right side, six men at the front and another four at the back of the building, all surrounding its four angles.
 
“Geez !! What the fu..ck is happening?” Joel cursed rhetorically and dropped the mouse.
 
“They are also outside the building” Derrick pointed out and stepped further away from the system. He frowned instantly and rushed towards the door likewise Joel who moved behind him with the same swift.

“Blow off the door” Abu instructed the men at the front of the building and stepped back from his position. He was part of the six men that were outside and he was holding two separate guns.
 
He stepped back again and watch as the men carried out the instructions. Two of them brought out three different small metal explosive device and attached it on the main door of the building, all of them stepped back instantly and the explosive detonate in five seconds, tearing up the entire door and everything else at the main entrance.
 
Abu himself rushed forward immediately after the explosion and the men followed, they entered tactically into the building as Abu shot twice and the men behind him waited no other seconds before they started firing their guns sporadically even when no one was s₱0tted.

Vivian almost froze to death on the bed when the loud bang sounded, waking her from a short term nap, she jerked with extreme fear and shock, she rose up quickly when heavy gunshots began to sound and the phone held in her palm fell down.

“Get this fuc..king door knock down” One of four men at the right side instructed immediately they tried to open the side door of the building veranda but its won’t gave way. They were earlier moving slowly and tried to open the security lock but the sound of the gunshot made them act swiftly.
 
Two men stepped towards the door the same way and attached the metal explosive on the door. They moved back immediately and the explosive detonated also in five seconds. The four of them moved in swiftly and began to shoot.

The man standing directly beside Abu met an untimely death few seconds after Abu tried to control their shootings. A bullet went into his skull and another into his chest from the leading entrance of the hall way.
 
Joel dodged quickly using the shade of the entrance as cover as they all s₱0tted him. The men began to move separately and each one quickly tried to take cover immediately another gunman joined at the hallway.
 
More gunshot began to sound in the room and an exchange of fire started. Derrick shot another man on his shoulder and swamped back for cover immediately. He took a look at Joel’s face and quickly dodge from getting hit.
 
The wh0le men continue to shoot, including Abu who had taken cover behind a sofa when Joel was s₱0tted.
 
Derrick quickly stepped back from his position and Joel did instantly. They rush back into the hallway as two men suddenly appeared from the other way leading to the building Veranda. Derrick fired a bullet into first man’s chest and Joel fired into the second man’s head.
 
The other two men who were following behind quickly stepped back to shoot at Derrick and Joel who had acted swiftly and navigated to different positions.
 
Derrick ran into the surveillance room and Joel ran into the room quite adjacent the surveillance room as the men shoots.
 
The shooting continued for the first 45 seconds before Derrick made a swift out from the room and shoot, the first bullet penetrated one of the men’s leg and the second bullet penetrated the last man belly before another bullet was fired to finish off the one hit on the leg.
 
Joel peeped out from the room he was and fired at the front of the hallway, the other men were trying to penetrate from the other end but they quickly stepped back.
 
Two of the men stayed at the left and right side of the hallway while the others had to stay back, including Abu.
 
 
The gunshot continued between the two men and the latter for quite 60 seconds. None of them got hit despite the flying bullets as they took cover until two other men appeared from the other way leading from the veranda again.
 
Derrick who was to the advantage directed his gun at their position and Joel who was more to the advantage directed the bullet at the front of the hallway.
 
Derrick was able to target one of the men who died immediately but the second man was fast enough to have seen Derrick shoot and he quickly took cover.
 
The men at the front hallway tried to take advantage of the distraction but Joel hold them back, he fired two quick shots that pierced one of the men shoulder but the other missed and he quickly took cover.
 
Derrick stepped back into the room after two different attempts to shoot the gunman who took cover. He couldn’t have a proper shot because Joel who ought to shield him has taken cover. He tried as much as he could to have a direct shot on the gunman but he couldn’t, he had to stuck in,side the room for a brief seconds until Joel had the chance to shoot again.
 
The first two bullet he fired pierced the arm of the gunman and his belly.
 
“Get out of the way and get in there. We can’t get stock in this point forever” Abu shouted at one of the men shooting at the front of the hallway.

Inspector Kelvin watched afar as the vehicle coming from his south approached, he took a look at his wristwatch and tucked out the cigarette between his l-ips. He let out its smoke and turned to Mary who was leaning on the long hand poll of the bridge.
 
“Steve is here” He announced to Mary and stepped beside her, he turned his back at the opposite direction Mary faced and leaned on the long poll himself with his arm resting firmly on it.
 
“Yeah. He should get here and tell us where the hell he had been all through” Mary phrased out and looked at the inspector, she adjusted her standing position and turned back to face what she was looking at before the inspector intercepted.

Two more minutes of a fierce gun exchange occurred between Joel and Derrick along the latters.
 
The attackers were able to get out from cover in no time as Derrick and Joel had to get out from their positions respectively.
 
Derrick who was the first to get out from his position ran to the other way that leads to the veranda while Joel changed his position.
 
As Derrick stepped out of the blown off veranda, he rushed into two fast approaching men who were trying to get in,side through the door. The men were too late to shoot him almost the same seconds he acted swiftly and fired a bullet at the man rushing behind the other. He quickly grabbed the man that rushed into him forward and gave him an headbut.
 
He followed it quickly with a kick into the man’s chest before he shot him.
 
Just as the body of the man fell down, three men suddenly appeared from the other end and they fired at Derrick instantly.

After few seconds Joel ran into another cover and Derrick ran across the way leading to the veranda. He swiped out from cover immediately and began to shoot.
 
The first two men who rushed into the hall way when Abu gave the instruction met their untimely death. The bullets penetrate their bodies swiftly as Joel fired.
 
He didn’t wait any more seconds and fired two more shots that killed another two men instantly.

Steve slowed down immediately he was just about some distance away from the bridge when his phone began to ring.
 
He stared a look at the screen for a moment and picked up the phone to answer the unsaved contact.
 
He placed it on his ear and listened for a moment while trying to find a space to park.

“You know this city, this country, crimes everywhere everyday” Inspector Kelvin phrased as he tucked the remains of the cigarette under his feet.
 
“War everywhere, we fight, some lose their lives and no one could be trusted. This wh0le shi..ts is getting frustrating each passing moment” He added still standing in his position and nodded, he made a sigh and adjust his collar properly due to the cold out there on the bridge.
 
Mary turned to him and smiled, she turned her back on the long hand poll and stand the way he did. She looked forward as Steve car was approaching but was moving slowly.
 
“I lost my mum at 8, she was killed by some Chinese drug dealers in New York. She Left me with my dad and series of memories in the past, its was terrifying for my dad and he couldn’t take it, he tried stopping my mum been a detective but her passion was strong” She said and straightened her legs properly, she pulled her coat down and made a glance at the inspector before she turned forward.
 
“What about you been one?” Inspector Kelvin looked at her face and asked.
 
“Well. I think I took after my mum, he had to gave up after series of persuasion” Mary replied him and smiled again, she folded her arms and made a very deep breath.
 
She was about to utter more when all of a sudden a loud screeching of tires sounded from afar.
 
Both of them jerked and rushed to the other hand pole where they had heard the sound.
 
They watched as Steve turned the car instantly and speed off in crazy manner.
