Chapter 1🧘🏽‍♂️

The mooing of dairy cows could be heard as a gentle wind passed while the sun crept slowly out of the clouds. A young muscular man held a wh¡p across his shoulders as he sat on a horse viewing the large acre of land he had as his. Thomas Owens was raised in a farm yard as the last son of his family his other siblings were in other cities doing a unknown business.
He drank from a jar of water while he surveyed the whole area, don’t be surprised Thomas lived alone in this large house and land, his location was even quite far from the nearest town in New Zealand.
Just has he was about to get down from his horse, a man who rode on a bike drove towards him , his eyes in tears has he had blood dripping from his l-ips.
“Thomas please help me”, the man shouted as he dropped his bike running towards him while looking back.
“What happened to you?’’, Thomas questioned
“The Dremo gang are after me”, the man shouted as he reached Thomas.
“My God Henry what did you do?” Thomas asked
“I had some leaked information in this flash drive that could end the gang and most corrupt politicians here”, Henry said
“I guess they want that”, Thomas said collecting the flash drive “Go stay in my barn”
“Thank you”, Henry said as he rushed towards the barn.

Thomas made a click and then a whistle with his mouth telling the cows to go in,side which they did obediently. He seemed to have harnessed the power of communicating with his animals.
Just then a lorry and car pulled in front of his yard, the dremo gang all dressed in black with axes stepped out of the vehicle, while Thomas stood still watching.

“Thomas, Thomas!!” the leader said
“When anybody got a problem they run to you. Other gangs dare not step here to battle you and I don’t know why they fear you that much and begin calling you the fortifier”, the leader said
“What do you want? “ Thomas asked as he got down from his horse.
“That man you are hiding’, the leader said with a smirk.
“He isn’t here”, Thomas said.
“Thomas the fortifier”, the leader said laughing out as he brought two axes.
“You don’t mind if I cut you with this axes”, he said. “Where is he? ‘’ He asked again
“I don’t know”, Thomas said

“End this bitch”, the leader said angrily.
The s¢ræms of wars never last, Thomas caught an axe thrown to him as he held it slowly.
“Didn’t they tell you why I am the fortifier?” Thomas said as he walked slowly towards them.
A member of the gang attacked him violently butt Thomas stepped aside cutting one of his attacker arm as he held him by the neck still walking slowly towards them.

“I am Thomas the fortifier, protector of the weak, ex spy agent”, he said throwing the member to floor and sending a big leg attack to the abdomen.
“He grabbed another member sending the axe into the skull as he finished him with a head butt.
“Ex army major, ex CIA agent, ex FBI and a black red commando”, He said as dodged an attacked sending a punch that broke the neck of the attacker.
“Now get off my yard”, he said slowly.
“f×¢k you Thomas”, the leader shouted as he got back into the vehicle with the whole gang.
“I will be back”, the leader shouted again.

Thomas just smiled showcasing his white teeth “You won’t be back “
“Let see about that”, the leader and his gang laughed as they were about driving away.
Thomas touched the vehicles with a smirk has he watched the vehicles reverse from his yard and moving away.
Just then he turned around and walked slowly raising his hand up and making a countdown from 5 to 1 suddenly a great explosion occurred, the vehicles were sent up in flames as the explosion destroyed everyone in it.
“Told you, you won’t be back”, Thomas said walking to meet Henry, who came out to see what had happened.
“Here is your flash drive”, Thomas said giving the flash drive back.
“Go for what you want to do”, He said
”I owe you my life bro”, Henry said as he knelt down on the floor in appreciation.
“Kneel to no one”, Thomas said
“Get going”, He sighed.
Henry picked up his bike as he rode back in a violent speed.
Just then a sudden heavy rain began; Thomas sat back on his horse calling back the animals while the rain fell heavily.
“f×¢king rain”, Thomas mumbled while the thunder rumbled.
2hrs later the sun was out again shining brightly as it flaunted it beauty to the grasses and the trees. A phone call came in through Thomas phone.
“Hello who is this? “, He asked
“It me Harry”, the caller said.
“Oh brother harry, why did you call? “, Thomas answered with an unpleasant tone.
Well it had been known already that Thomas and his two elder brothers had problems, with Thomas choosing to watch over his parents properties while his brothers went overseas to live and even married there living a good life while Thomas stayed behind.
“The whole family is coming for holiday”, Harry said.
“Family? “, Thomas scoffed
“Yeah, Joseph and Jake will be coming too”, Harry said
“Ok then”, Thomas said cutting the call annoyingly.
“Hello, hello Tom”, Harry said “Damn”,

“Am sure they are facing problems for him to call me”, he said entering his house to get a bottle of beer.
“He cut the call on me”, Harry said to his brother.
“He has every right to do that”, Joseph said
“Let just get moving tomorrow”, harry said

Thomas had just finished feeding the cows and they were all back to their resting place while he sat under a tree and was listening to music from a radio it was his favorite singer who was singing and it was a blues song which went slow as the gentle cold breeze blew on his face, when he suddenly fell asleep.
