Alicia’s POV

I had to lie that I was raped which made her advice me to visit the police station as well as my friend also.

Leaving that place, we both made our way to the car although that’s after I have settled the bills same as my drugs which where given to me.

Staring at the drugs, I wonder if I would be the one to take all these cause it’s too much for me to take in.

Using my eyes to count, I have more that 18 drugs to finish in a week time.

“We should head to the police station and report before going home.” She said making me look up perplexed.

” Noooo! “I yelled out making her raise her eyebrows at me.

“Why no? You hear what the doctor said or that’s not what truly happened to you?.” She asked like she is making a statement.

” Huh?”I asked back.

Gosh,why am I too stupid?she would have noticed something is wrong with the way I just acted.

You can’t even tell a simple lie for them not to realize you have things bothering you?

Thoughts that are making you doubt your father innocence. You are too stupid.

My inner mind said scolding me while I search for what to say.

“That’s what happened but as you know, it’s almost midnight already as you can see.

I have to take my drug and have a good night sleep then tommorow,we can just go to the police station and report.”I suggested.

” You know how police can be.”she said rolling her eyes.

” Fine,we will tell them I was really weak that I couldn’t even open my mouth not to talk of telling anyone about it.

And you just got to know that morning.”I said again.

” Fine,you win.”she said putting her hands up in a surrendering manner before dropping it back.

I couldn’t help but crack at the little act she just played.

Looking at outside the window,I started nodding my head a little to the soft music playing.

With the breeze blowing my air,I decided to enjoy nature a little before heading home.

Holding my head High in the air,I made a choice in my mind.

A new choice,a new change in my life. I want to close the old me chapter because am about to open a new me chapter tommorow morning.

Driving into my house, she helped me out again till we got to my room where she laid me and help me get into bed.

She also dropped the keys and drug at the right shelf giving me that good night k-ss, she turned around to leave.

“You don’t have to leave, you can just get in bed with me till tomorrow.” I said making her turn around with smile spread on her l-ips.

Getting behind me, she cover herself and started rocking me till I slept off.

Alicia’s POV

Waking up the next day, I opened my eyes and stretched my numb limbs same as my arms which I spread out.

Using my hand to look for her, I found out there was nobody there.

What could have happened? I thought sitting up only to find her all dressed up for school. Aside her hair which she was brushing.

“You could have wake me.” I said placing a pillow behind my back then I pressed my back against it.

Is that a good morning thank you for yesterday? “She asked rolling her eyes.

” Am sorry, I was just…. “I trail off not knowing what to say.

“Just what?” She asked wiggling her brows together in a mocking manner cause she knows I have nothing else in,side of me to say.

“You are damn wicked and annoying.” I said throwing her a pillow which didn’t even go more than the feet of the bed.

She busted out laughing at my pathetic trial which annoys me the more.

I continue throwing her pillow which end up with a huge smile on both of our faces.

“Have told the maids to help you saying you got into a little accident and the doctor said you should stress your self for you bone to heal for the next one month. ”

She said roughing my already scattered hair making it look like a bird nest.

“Thanks babe, but stop scattering the hair that already look horrible before. “I said placing a k-ss on her left Palm.

” You are welcome girl friend, what are friends for?” She asked.

“To be with each other during the hærd times, make them happy when you see they aren’t.

If they get beaten up or cheated, we treat the f**k up of the person. Make them smile at any little chance you have.

Don’t keep secrets from each other and have the same set of goal to achieve together. “We both said making us hug each other.

Although, the second to the last one is what am about to break today.

Because I have to keep it away from her till I find solution to the doubt am having towards my dad.

And more about the business deal they had together for me to be treated like this.

And am very sure he came there just because of me, if not he wouldn’t have drop this card when he was leaving.

The question now is how did he know I was going to come there, the exact time I got myself drunk.

Who told him those information about me? I need to find out what this card meant before giving it to my dad, I thought looking at the drawer I placed it yesterday night after she was asleep.

” Oh you are still here?” I asked like a lost puppy.

” Oh you are still here?” I asked like a lost stupid puppy.

” Really? You want me out that quickly? “She asked faking a sad pout.

” You know that’s not true, I thought you let awhile ago and was already missing you but hearing your voice now assure me you are still here. ”

I said clearing the suspicious glance she is giving me off me.

“Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, dose that mine you love me?” She asked making me give her that irritated look.

” Love? You of all people, no. I don’t love you at all and wipe the blush off your face before I kick you out now. ”

I said trying to play the mother role which ended up making us laugh.

“You have to go to school now before you would get yourself into trouble because of my jokes. “I said.

” Yes mom but.. “she trail off with a serious look on her face.

” But what?” I asked feeling a little bit unease with the next question she’s going to throw at me.

“You haven’t tell me what happened since yesterday aside telling other people crap which I don’t believe. “She said.

” I already did last night while we where at the hospital. “I said.

” That’s for the nurse and I know it’s a lie if not, you would want to report to the police or even have plan something really bad together for the person.

Remember the rules of been a girl friend. “She said raising her pinky finger.

” Fine, I will tell you once you come back.” I lied raising my own pinky finger and we did the pinky promise.

I wave her good bye as she left the house leaving me to think about what step next I want to take before she arrives.

Stepping out of the bed , I limp down to my bathroom taking a quick shower while I stepped out and dry my hair till it has no water in it.

Taking it in two weave, I walk into my closest then pick a free top gown wearing no undies because of the stich that was made yesterday underneath me.

All I have to do for the next one week is to open my legs wide on where ever am going to sit without wearing anything under.

Limping back to my room, I met my personal maid standing there.

“Oh you are here hope.” I said making it sound somehow unacceptable in my hear.

Why? Cause what I just did strange to the both in the house. Remember I told you I want to open a new chapter of my life, that’s what am doing now.

“Yes… yes … Yes ma’am.” She replied with her head still bowed.

She is afraid of looking up to me cause have been a ruthless person towards her…
