SAM
I haven’t even taken my water yet. Give me a minutes. I went to the fridge and took a bottle of cold water drank from it and return it back into the fridge.
SAM
Let’s go daddy. (he chuckle)
PAPA
Stop calling me daddy, it makes me feel too old. I gave a soft laugh “Ain’t you old” I asked him but instead he picked me up from the ground bridal style and took me to his room then place my back on the bed gently and rom-ntically.
PAPA
A least I can carry you, so that answer your question I’m not old. We both laughed his so funny. He lay close to me and wrapped his hand round my wa-ist.
SAM
Are you happy? That I’m in your life? Do I give you joy?
PAPA
I know it hærd to believe but the feelings you bring I didn’t even feel half of it when I was married to Martha my late wife. I loved her, I even thought I wasn’t going to love again then you came and changed all that. Everyday, every minute all I want is you, think of is just you. SAM I love you is an understatement you mean everything to me.
I took a deep breathe, smiled and faced him,
SAM
I was sacred of loving you at first, I didn’t want to get my heart broken. I like cute guys and tall but I never loved any I was sacred of getting my heart broken because stories I have heard about how the dump you after sleeping with you. He smiled, moved closer, his left hand place around my neck while his right hand was still holding my wa-ist. I closed my eyes.
Why do we close our eyes when we want to pray, k-ss or even sleep? It’s because the beautiful things are unseen.
I felt his l-ips on mine, his breathe fresh and sweet, I k-ssed back enjoying every moment of it. It was calm at first the it started getting fierce and intense, he tried to stop but hell no I didn’t want him too, I wanted more, I needed more. He pulled away from me and looked into my eyes.
PAPA

SAM
I want you in,side of me please.
He smiled, took a very deep breathe then held my both hands.
PAPA
I love you sam, I want our first night to be special not like this. If I touch you now it’s a sin and I’m a thief so I won’t touch you now. I sign released my hand from his and rush to his bath room. He came after me but I lock the door from in,side. I sat at the edge of his bathtub. I wasn’t hurt because he refused me I was too excited to even express it. “I want our first night to be special” wow that means he wants to marry me? I was over happy. I heard a soft knock on the door “are you alright in there sam” I got of washed my face because tears of joy had dropped. Checked myself one last time in the mirror before opening the door.
Immediately i open the door he hugged me.
PAPA
I’m so sorry if I hurt you my love, I didn’t mean too. I wrapped my hands around him too.
SAM
I’m not mad at you, I’m just happy you love me this much. He release himself from the hug and k-ssed my l-ips softly.
PAPA
I can’t get enough of you sam.
I smiled and looked him in the eyes took a deep breathe.
SAM
How old are you daddy? Oops sorry I mean ‘my love’. He smiled and poke my nose.
PAPA
I’m 34 years last two months.
I was shocked 34? And here I was thinking he is in his early 40s looks can be deceiving at time.
SAM

You don’t look old at all, but in church everyone calls you papa so I thought maybe it’s because of your age. He laughed again and poked my nose.

SAM

How old are you too and where are your parents.
SAM
I’m 24, and my parents are in the states. I love nigeria

SAM
I’m 24 years old, my parents are the state, I love nigeria that’s why I’m here.
He smiled and touched my nose.
PAPA
So any siblings?
SAM
Yea sure, two brother and one sister.
PAPA
I guess you are the last bore right?
SAM
No I’m actually second to the last.
PAPA

SAM

He smiled again I don’t know why he loves smiling too much but I like it sha.
PAPA

SAM
Wow really? Which part of Kogi?
PAPA

SAM

That night we did questioning and answering till we fell asleep. The next morning papa woke me up with breakfast on the bed, it was so rom-ntic I k-ssed his cheeks showing I was grateful. I felt loved, cared for and appreciated.

I moved my head close, he k-ssed me passionately that we almost forgot about breakfast. After the meal I went to have my bath (in his bathroom). After I finished bathing, I didn’t border wearing my night gown again. I just tie his towel around my chest and came out. When I entered the room he was busy with his phone.
SAM

PAPA

Go take a shower too, I will be right back.
I turn to leave but he grab my hand and I lost balance and fell on his laps. We stare at each other no one was really to talk first. So our eyes were busy doing the talking. He place his left round my neck, his eyes still on mine. I smiled “you still wanna k-ss me” I whisper? He chuckle. “If you let me, why not” I smiled and nodded for him to go ahead.
