Episode 40
The next day was sunday, I woke up very early to get myself ready for service. I couldn’t sleep late night thou, papa wasn’t with me so it was difficult to sleep without him. Around 7am I was already in church, I looked everywhere for him with my eyes I didn’t see him. So I just waited, our Sunday school teacher came and taught us but to be honest? My mind was not even there, my mind was with my baby. Around 8:00am, papa came in followed by bro tobi who was holding his bible, he smiled at me and I smiled back, the lady beside me notice I could swear to that. He got up and climb the podium and when everyone was expecting him to preach he said the on think able.
PAPA
Today I’m not standing on this alter to preach, I stand here not as your papa but as your brother, son and friend to ask you people to forgive me.
(The church start to murmur wondering what their papa was saying). I have deceived you, and myself. My wife your supposed mommy died three years ago, she died of cancer of the blood. When she died I couldn’t bring myself to tell anymore because I never accepted the pact she was dead. (the murmur even more). I was so hurt that I could not express my pain or even talk to anyone. Please my father, my children, my brothers and sisters forgive me.
When I saw my papa on that alter giving us his speech my love for him increase I couldn’t help but shad tears. Then I heard him say.
PAPA
I never had the plan of making this confession, a least not anytime soon, but someone came, and gave me a reason to forget my past and my grief. She’s special, beautiful and the woman I cherish so much. I couldn’t help but smiled. He walked down from the alter, she wh0le church were wondering where he was going to even I myself. Then he walked and walked till he stopped in front of me. He knelt down before me and deep his hand into his suit and brought out a box. The wh0le church started to shout, some filled with passion, some scorn and hatred so even shad tears for us. But non of their could be compare with my feeling at that moment. He held my hands and smiled at me.
PAPA
To prove my undying love for you sam, I knee here before man and God my witness to ask you this question. “Will you please Marry me”?
A tears drop I couldn’t express how I felt, it was like a was going to die the next minute because of joy. My tears kept coming.
PAPA
Please baby, say yes. The time the wh0le church had started shouting “say yes”
Episode 41
Continue from the last scene
With people begging me to say yes, my heart race the more, and papa was still kneeing waiting for my answer.
SAM
Right from that moment I saw you was the day this heart stop beating for me but for you. I love you so much and I would love to spend the rest of my life with you. So ‘yes’ I will marry you. The wh0le church roar with joy, some even carried chairs up out of jubilation. He pull me closer and hugged me so tight. “Thank you baby” he whisper into my ears. The church came to an end. He offered to take me home and oh yes I accepted. Outside the church if you see two people standing one conner know it was me and papa they were talking about. They all forgave him for lying to then sha. We got home and my director called me.
BOSS
I heard you are getting married, (more like a question)
SAM
Good afternoon boss.
BOSS
Sorry, my manner how are you. Tell me is it true?
SAM
Who told you? (it’s surprising how he heard)
BOSS
Check the Internet, you are everywhere.( laughed because I know that was a joke) I’m not lying just check I will call you back. Turn to my baby and told him what my boss just said but the shock on his face showed he has seen something too. Then he hand his phone to me.
PAPA
Dear you have to see this? (I collected the phone). How come this went to the Internet so quick?. I was shocked it was a video of papa and I in the church when he propose. I smiled and told him
SAM
I guess that’s how love most fast baby. But this one our video have gone this far, I still don’t want big wedding ooh. He laughed and k-ssed my checks “yes ma” he said amidst laughter.
My boss called e back to confirm if I had seen the video he told me, and asked if I was coming to work the next day (like he wouldn’t kill me if I say no)I wanted to make lunch but my baby refused, he said we should eat out, so we did we ate out that Sunday, later in the evening he took me to his house ‘wow’ his house is so big in fact it’s a mansion.
SAM
Remind me again, what do you do for a living? (he laughed when he understood my question)
PAPA
I’m a pastor. (still laughing)
SAM
Hell yes I know but this house is too big, or are you stealing church money (I gave a wink)
PAPA
Jesus wept, no I’m not. Ok fine all this was my dad’s he left it to me as an only child.
I was really surprised because that house is to big for someone who is just a pastor. (I mean pastor do have money but this one is too much).
 
Episode 42
We went into his room and my mouth flew open, the in,side was heaven on earth, gush his house is so big and beautiful.
He offered me a drink which I accepted, before he showed me around the last place was his bedroom. It was superb I really loved it.
SAM
Baby, I must tell you, this house is really beautiful, it’s nice. (smiling)
PAPA
It’s “our” house not mine alone. Then I remembered he said the house was his father’s so where is his father, I have never really asked him that thou.
SAM
So where is your dad baby, is he in the state?
PAPA
His late, he died when I was around your age, plane crash.
SAM
Wow, I’m truly sorry for your loose, I didn’t know. (he smiled and held my hands)
PAPA
It’s been 10 years baby, I’m over it. So let’s do something fun what do you think?
I chuckle he will never stop to amaze me, his a very strong man, no father, no children and not even a wife, his really tough.
SAM
So baby, what do you want us to do?
PAPA
You know what I want sugar (I laughed). My l-ips is try, and crying to be wait with yours (his eyes sed-cing me).
SAM
But today is sunday baby, keep it holy. (he giggle)
PAPA
But you are my wife to be, and we ain’t doing anything wrong. (he moved closer)
I took a deep breathe then hugged him, he chuckle “you really don’t want to k-ss me” he said more like a question. I pull away and k-ssed him.
SAM
I want to k-ss you, every minute and second of the day, I just needed that hug first. (he moved closer and held my wa-ist)
PAPA
Thank you darling, for bringing light to my loneliness and darkness. I love you.
I smiled then k-ssed him, he responded like a hungry lion. We k-ssed like we wouldn’t see each other again. I missed his l-ips too since Saturday we haven’t or even didn’t have a real k-ss. The k-ss became intense and hot, he picked me up from the ground and placed me on his big kind size bed (so soft, lolz) I smiled and wrapped my legs around his wa-ist. This time I could feel his man org-n hærd and strong but couldn’t help, you know we could not have s€× before we say “I do”. So I pulled away.
SAM
Let’s stop baby, you hærd and I can’t help you.
He smiled and k-ssed my forehead.
PAPA
So you going to work tomorrow (he said changing the subject).
SAM
Yes dear, I have to.
PAPA
Alright, let’s go see a movie.
I loved the ideal but it was already getting late, you know that saying ‘early to bed, early to rise’ so I politely refuse giving him my reasons. He agreed with me.
