There was nothing more pleasant than driving alone at night with the wind blowing through one’s hair or face. It always makes me feel calm and relaxed but it would be more pleasant to have a loved one during this drive to share this wonderful atmosphere with them.
Speaking of loved ones, I just can’t to see Marian again. Every moment I spend with her feels like paradise especially our love making. It’s unfortunate to say that despite the fun we had this afternoon, our day ended unpleasantly and that was all thanks to that German swine.
Nothing would make me more happy to put that b–stard in his place but things wouldn’t go well for Marian If I made a move on him.
While I was on my way home , I noticed a car following me.
It wasn’t close so I couldn’t see the faces of the people but something caught my attention and it was car itself. It looked very familiar but I couldn’t remember where I saw it. As I kept driving around, I noticed that the car was still following me at a safe distance and as I kept staring at it through my front mirror, I remembered where I saw the clunker.
It seems that the German b–stard wasn’t finished with me yet. He must have followed me to finish the job but unfortunately for him, I won’t give him that leisure. In that moment, I pulled over by the side of the road and quickly reached out for my gun in my compartment. My followers too had stopped as well waiting to see my next move.
My patience was getting thin as minutes passed, either me or my followers did anything ; each of us was waiting for the other to make a move. As I got tired of waiting for them, I decided to play a little trick on them.
Instantly, I got out of the car after I hid my gun behind my h¡p and immediately I stood in front of my car, my followers drove their car towards me in great speed.
As soon as I saw them heading towards me , I brought out my gun and fired 4 shots at the windscreen. Immediately I made that shot, the car swirled around wildly and then crashed into a nearby tree.
Shortly after that, a man came out of the car mo-ning in pain. I recognized the man’s face as he laid on the cold street clutching his stomach painfully as he uttered some German words.
In that moment, I approached the man with caution aiming my gun at him in case if he was faking his cry of agony and as i got closer to him, I saw blood stain on his white shirt.
Poor b–stard, one of my bullets must have pierced his stomach and from the way he was bleeding, he’s bound to die within minutes. I peeped in,side the car hoping to see the german swine but all I saw was his other friend who had died on the steering wheel. There was a tiny h0le on his forehead and blood was dripping from it.
One thing was definitely obvious and that was the fact that these men were sent to kill me. That b–stard just made this really personal and if blood is what he wants, its blood he’ll definitely get.
Afterwards, I headed back to my car and as soon as I got in, I turned around and drove straight back to the farm house.

At around 8:00pm in Toby’s house, Luan discusses with his godfather about what was going on in Elizabeth’s house. Quincy was also present as well but he said nothing ; he just sat on one of Toby’s couch smoking and drinking 🥃 steadily listening to what the young man was saying. Luan also tells Toby about what happened a few days ago when Elizabeth visited him by surprise and he told told him about Erica’s plan but before Toby could say anything, Quincy laughed and then ridicule Erica’s idea.

Quincy ➡ (laughs) Seriously? That’s her plan? Women are just so naive. This is a man’s game.
.

Toby ➡ I agree. This plan is nothing but nonsense. It could get us killed
.

Luan ➡ That’s what I thought but we must act now. We must come up with a plan to nail that rat once and for all.
.

Quincy ➡ No, we need more time.
.

Luan ➡ NO! this is the right time for us to act.
.

Quincy ➡ Watch your mouth boy. I won’t tolerate this insolence from you.

Toby ➡ Calm down Quincy and you Luan, know your place. But honestly the boy is right Quincy, that traitor is within our reach. He has little backup and ammunition. We can take him.

Quincy ➡ I don’t know. This information seems a little less adequate. We need more facts.

Luan ➡ This is the fact. I trust my sister and Elizabeth. We need to act now.

Toby ➡ Yes and besides lives are at stake.

Quincy ➡ (sighs) Give us a minute boy, I’d like to discuss with Toby in private.

Without hesitation, Luan grumbles silently and then leaves the house. As soon as he was gone, the two white men began to discuss.

Toby ➡ Why are you putting us on hold Quincy? That traitor is vulnerable.

Quincy ➡ I know you want to get him so bad but something just doesn’t feel right.

Toby ➡ You have no reason to worry cause i trust Luan, his sister and Elizabeth. Time is running out.

Quincy ➡ Sigh! You really want to go through this?

Toby ➡ Absolutely.
.

Quincy ➡ Alright then.. We’ll need a plan to….
.

Before Quincy could finish his statement, a loud honking car horn which came from outside the house startled both men. Toby who was annoyed by the loud noise rushes outside the house to see who it was and to his surprise, he sees Marian in,side a car.

Toby ➡ Marian!!
.

Marian ➡ Sir.. I need… your. (coughs)
.

Toby ➡ Calm down. I didn’t know you could drive.
.

Marian ➡ Sir, I need your help. Elizabeth’s in trouble. Her husband…. He’s going to kill her.
.

Toby ➡ WHAT!? 😨
.

Marian ➡ His men are going after Peter too, they’re going to kill me. Please we need to save them.
.

Quincy ➡ What’s going on here?
.

Toby quickly briefs Quincy on what is going on and as soon as he hears everything, his eyes lits up and a coyly smile appears on his face.

Quincy ➡ Young lady, are you saying that the major is alone with your mistress at home?
.

Marian ➡ Yes.
.

Quincy ➡ Good! Toby let’s move on. This is a very good opportunity.
.

Marian ➡ What about Peter? We have to…
.

Quincy ➡ I’m sorry your lady but there’s nothing we can do for him and besides your mistress’s life is more important than his.

Marian ➡ Sir…

Toby ➡ I’m sorry Marian but he’s right. We’re more closer to the farm house and we can rescue Elizabeth in time but going after peter would be a waste of time, besides we don’t where he’s going.

Toby ➡ Luan!? LUAN! where’s that boy ?

Marian ➡ He’s on his way to the farm house.

Quincy ➡ That damned fool. How did you two meet? He was just here.

Marian ➡ We met on my way here and that’s when I told him everything but before I could stop him, he took off.

Toby ➡ We have to hurry. Quincy, do you have a gun?

Toby ➡ I have a rifle in my bedroom. Let me go get it. Give a minute.

Toby quickly retires into his house to get his gun and after a short while, He comes back outside with his weapon. After that, the 2 European men enter Elizabeth’s car together with Marian and then drive off into the street. Before they could go far, they collide with another car which had suddenly appeared in front of them.

Quincy ➡ By God man! Watch where you’re going!

Peter ➡ Sorry, I didn’t know you were taking this lane..
.

Marian ➡ That voice.. PETER!!!
.

Peter ➡ MARIAN!!! Is that you? Who are these old buggers?

Toby ➡ Watch your move, fool. I happen to be her father.

Marian ➡ Peter… You’re alive. Thank God. I was worried about you. What happened?

Peter ➡ Wait? You know that I was going to be followed?

Marian ➡ Yes but was after you left.

There’s nothing that is more insulting and humiliating than getting a slap across the face. It is a sign of disrespect and a desecration to one’s image. Wilhelm’s slap hurt like hell and it made me fall on the couch. The miserable b–stard didn’t bother to care about my situation, he just walked away heading into the house trying to look for Marian. Before he could go far, I took his empty gun from where he hid it and slammed it hærd on his back.

Major ➡ (shouts)… ARRRGGHHHH!

Elizabeth ➡ (speaking Scottish) Ainmhidh…. (Animal)

Major ➡ You dare!? I’m going to strangle you.

Elizabeth ➡ Is that so? Let’s see you do that.

Wilhelm froze in shock as he saw his gun in my hands. He calmed himself down and tried to persuade me into dropping the gun ; I laughed as I saw through his scheme and if he thinks that I’m going to drop the gun, he must be really stupid.

Major ➡ Calm down honey.. Let’s talk things through. Drop the gun.
.

Elizabeth ➡ Oh, so now you want to talk huh? (spits on Wilhelm )… Talk on that you swine.
.

Major ➡ Come on Elizabeth.. I’m your husband.
.

Elizabeth ➡ You cease to be the moment you slapped me. You and I are done. I’m no longer your wife.

Major ➡ Don’t be absurd. That’s my child you’re carrying in,side you.

Elizabeth ➡ (laughs) Oh about that.. This isn’t your child.

Elizabeth ➡ I don’t speak German you snake. I also know your secret you traitorous b–stard.

Elizabeth ➡ 😂😂😂😂. You can’t do shit. Don’t forget that you’re at my mercy. If you take a step, I’ll pull the trigger.

In that moment, Wilhelm rushed towards me in great speed and slapped me again across my face but not before he snatched the gun from my hands. I knew my overconfidence had landed me in trouble and now I was going to pay dearly for it.
As soon as I fell on the ground, Wilhelm stood over me matching my stomach hærd with his right foot. His eyes was red with rage and it was obvious that he wanted me dead in that moment. Without any hesitation, he pointed the gun at me and fired but nothing happened.
Shock was written over Wilhelm’s face as he checked the gun barrel and saw that there was no bullets. He threw away the gun and drew out the one in his h¡p and clicked it.

Major ➡ You b–tch!! So all this years you’ve been sleeping with another man behind my back? I’m going to send you and that miserable thing in your w-mb to hell. PREPARE TO DIE.
.

I was sure that my end was near, so I braced myself for the tragic end that was going to befall me. Just before Wilhelm could pull the trigger, something unexpected happened.
Out of nowhere, Luan appeared and attacked Wilhelm from behind by dropping a mean punch at the back of his neck. The attack lurched Wilhelm forward violently that he fell hærd on the ground and dropped his gun.
As soon as the German b–stard was down, Luan quickly helped me up and checked on me.

Luan ➡ Elizabeth.. Are you okay?
.

Elizabeth ➡ I am now. Thank God you’re here.
.

Luan ➡ You need to leave. Backup is coming. It’s not safe for you here.
.

Elizabeth ➡ What about you?
.

Luan ➡ I’ll handle this rat until Marian and the others arrive.
.

Elizabeth ➡ But you can’t.. It’s too..
.

Before I could finish my sentence, Wilhelm staggered back up holding his neck painfully. As soon as he turned around and saw luan, he gasped in shock not believing his eyes.

Wilhelm ➡ YOU! 😨. You’re still alive?
.

Luan ➡ Sure. I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time.
.

Wilhelm ➡ So you know my wife?
.

Luan ➡ Of course. Who’s child do you think she’s carrying? 😏
.

Wilhelm ➡ B–STARD! I’M GOING TO KILL YOU APE.
.

Luan ➡ No, its going to be the other way around. this African soil will be your tomb and you’re going to die just the rat that you are.
