🏹 EPISODE 14 🏹
💥 Queen Helga’s POV 💥
“How did you know we were coming? Who was the traitor that betrayed us?!!” I yelled
“Calm down Helga, there’s no use in screaming, reserve your strength cause you are definitely going to need it later” the Ice Queen said with a smile
“Don’t think you’ve won, I won’t go down without a fight”
“It seems your intelligence have withered over the years, you are sorrounded Helga, apart from the troop here, there are more warriors outside so by all means go on, fight, it’s gonna be fun killing your warriors” she said and anger rushed through me
She’s right, I am trapped
There’s no way out
If I fight now, my warriors might get killed but if I surrender, we might have a chance of surviving
I slowly bent down and dropped my sword on the ground
“I surrender” I said
“Wise choice Helga” the Ice Queen said with a smile
💥 Elsie’s POV 💥
Each of us began to study the engravings on the cave well looking for clues on how to find the sword
I touched the engravings as I moved along the wall
Then a part of the engravings pressed inwards as I touched it and wall slid open
“How did that you do that?” Kali asked as they all walked towards me
It seems the opening led to outside the cave cause I could see grasses
Then we suddenly heard a howl and 5 wolves ran in through the opening and 2 of the wolves jumped on me while the rest of the wolves jumped on Kali, Erik and Gia
I fell on the ground as I struggled with the wolves
They were vicious and relentless
I continued to struggle with them and one of them used it’s paw and scratch me across the eye
Blood started gushing out and I could barely see
I heard footsteps then a thud sound and the wolves fighting me dropped dead
The same happened to the others, someone shot the wolves
I managed to sit up but I couldn’t see clearly yet, one of my eyes is completely covered with blood
I cleaned my uninjured eye and I was able to see who it was
Korax
“You are all lucky I decided to find you guys, if not for me you’ll all be dead” Korax said
I looked at the others, everyone’s was injured
Erik got a scratch on his hand
Kali got a scratch on her neck
Gia was worse, she got a nasty bite on her leg and she couldn’t stand up straight, she was limping
“Elsie your eyes!” Erik screamed as he saw me
Blood was dripping from my from my eye and I could only see with the other eye
“Gia your leg” I said
Her leg was bleeding profusely
“Am fine” she said but it was obvious she was lying
Korax suddenly removed his shirt and and walked towards Gia
“Wha….what are you doing?” Gia stuttered but Korax ignored her
He knelt by her side and tied the cloth round her leg
“It won’t heal it but it should stop the bleeding” Korax said
“Thanks” Gia mummured
“What about you your eye Elsie, you are still bleeding” Kali asked
“Am fine don’t worry” I said and I turned to Korax
“Though am grateful you saved us but why are you here, I thought you didn’t want anything to do with us” I asked
“Well, your friend gave me an advice and I decided to follow it” he said pointing at Erik
“Am glad you listened to me” Erik said
I turned back to the engravings on the wall and I studied it, this time no touching
“It seems each engravings on the wall can be pressed inwards to create an opening, the only problem is how will we get the engraving that leads to the sword” I said….
💥 Nyla’s POV 💥
We walked around looking for Helga’s warriors but they were no where to be found
“Look” Lyra said pointing at the ground
Footprints on the muddy ground
“Lets follow the footprints then, am sure it’s them” I said and we started following the footprints
💥 Kali’s POV 💥
“What about this?” I said pointing at the drawing of a sword on the wall
“Maybe we should pressed that, we are looking for a sword after all” Gia said
“I don’t think it will lead us to the sword, using a sword engraving is too obvious and easy” Elsie said
“That’s exactly why you guys should press it, many won’t will overlook it because they think it’s too obvious and can’t be the one, its called hiding in plain sight” Korax said
Is he really helping us right now?
“I think we should try it Elsie” Erik said and Elsie nodded
Erik pressed the sword engraving and the slide open leading to a more deeper cave
“I guess we have to go in, I think it leads to the sword” I said
“No one is going anywhere” I heard someone say and we all turned to look at who it was

💥 Korax’s POV 💥
It’s Nyla!!
Nyla and the rest of them
“You must be a fool to have come here when you know am out for your throat” I said
“Lucky for you Korax, I saved you the effort of searching for me, am here to kill you all” Nyla said drawing out her sword
Lyra and Zita got ready to fight too
“You guys should go on, I have an unfinished business to settle with Nyla” I said as I bent down and pick a sword from the ground
“Don’t be foolish, you can’t fight the 3 of us at once” Lyra said
“We’ll see about that” I said
“Are you sure you won’t need any help?” Erik asked
“No, you guys should go on” I said and he nodded and the left
“Shall we begin?” I asked with a smirk….
💥 Gia’s POV 💥
We walked deeper into the cave and I groaned as I continued limping cause of my leg
It seems Elsie heard me groan, she came to my side and supported
“It’s okay, I don’t need it” I said
“Come on, don’t tell me you are still angry with me” she said and I kept quiet
I sneaked a peak at her face
She’s badly injured, her eye was still dripping blood and I felt bad
I hate seeing her hurt
We continued walking into the cave and we met a dead end, no more entrance
“I guess we pushed the wrong engraving” Kali said
“I don’t think so looking at this” Elsie said pointing at something that looked like a hole on the wall
“What’s that for?” I asked
“Look at the drawings on the wall” Erik said and I limped closer to see the drawings
The drawing showed a person putting her hand over the hole on the wall and the wall opened showing the sword
“I’ll just put my hand over it then” Elsie said but I continued looking at the wall and all the engravings
“Don’t!” I yelled as she was about to put her hand over it
“What’s wrong?” She asked
“You didn’t finish looking at the drawings” I said “the person put his hand over the hole and the wall slid open but the person was now on the ground which means the person died”
“What!” Kali said
“That means to open this wall, someone needs to die” Erik said
“I’ll do it” I said
“No I won’t allow that, I’ll be the one to do it” Elsie said
“You led us here Elsie so you have to be the one to take the sword and finish the mission, you can’t die” I said
“Gia is right, you can’t die Elsie, so I’ll be the one to do it” Kali said
“Are you crazy Kali you are pregnant” I said before I could stop myself
“What!” Erik said in surprise
“You are pregnant?!” Elsie asked
“Am sorry I hid it from you both, I didn’t want to get anyone worried” Kali said
“Why you come when you knew you were pregnant?” Erik asked
“I only found out on the night before the journey, it was too late to back out” Kali said
“It’s alright, you’ll have to be more careful from now on” Elsie said
“It’s decided then, I’ll be the one to die” I said as I made to put my hand over the whole but Erik caught my hand
“Nothing is decided, I’ll be the one to do it” he said “I have no life back at home Gia, my life is miserable there, Its better for me to die here doing something significant”
“No Erik no, I won’t let you do it” I said “I want to do it Erik, all my life I’ve always wanted be like my Dad, he died doing something significant and I think it will be an honor to follow his footsteps. I didn’t want to say this but my leg is still bleeding badly and am barely holding myself up right now, I don’t think I’ll be able to get out of here alive so it’s beautiful to die for a great cause than to die for nothing cause of a wolve bite”
“No Gia…” Elsie said but I interrupted her
“You asked me of I’ve still not forgiven you, the truth is I forgived you long ago, I was just being stubborn and pretending that I was still angry, you know how your sister can be” I said as I chuckled but Elsie didn’t smile, all I could see were tears on her eyes and then she hugged
“Am sorry Gia, am so sorry that I couldn’t protect you till the end” Elsie said and I patted her back
“I don’t want you to die Gia, I wish you will let me die instead” Erik said as he hugged me
“I told you with or without this I can’t make it out of here alive cause of my leg so don’t blame yourself” I said
I turned to Kali and she was already in tears
“Come on Kali, I didn’t know you to be a cry baby” I said as I hugged her
“Don’t go Gia, Don’t go” Kali said
“Can I ask you for a last wish?” I asked Kali and she nodded
“If your baby turns out to be a boy, tell him about me but if it’s a girl, name her Gia” I said and she nodded with a smile
“Am so lucky right, unlike leo and Kiara, I got to say goodbye to you guys” I said
I looked at Elsie and her eyes were all red, both from the blood and tears
I limped towards her and I hugged her again “right from childhood you’ve always been the one making the sacrifices for us, now it’s my turn to make the sacrifice. When you get the sword, make sure to drive it through the Ice Queen’s heart” I said and she nodded
I limped back to the wall and I slowly put my hand over the hole
I felt nothing at first, but then I felt pain, like my blood was being sucked out of my body through my hand and I started to feel dizzy and then everything became blank
💥 Elsie’s POV 💥
Gia slumped on the ground lifeless and the wall slipped opened
And the sword was there, in the centre of the cave, driven into the ground
There were different statues around the sword and immediately I stepped in, a fire started
“Get the sword fast!!” Erik yelled and I ran to where the sword was
I knelt beside it and pulled it from the ground
The moment I pulled the sword out, everywhere started collapsing and I quickly ran outside
We got the sword
But at such a high cost
