🏹 EPISODE 3 🏹

💥 Ice Queen’s POV 💥

“What’s wrong Nyla?” I asked as she sudden barged into my Chambers

“My Queen” she greeted with a bow “I have bad news”

“What is it?”

“I overheard Queen Helga saying she sent someone to the Island of Langerhan to get the mystical sword” Nyla said and I quickly stood up

“What!! The mystical sword?” I scoffed “Helga is always getting on my nerves”

“That’s the only sword that kill you right?” Nyla asked

“Don’t worry Nyla, the mystical sword isn’t that easy to get, many have tried and failed, Helga will fail too”

“But still mother, let’s take some precautions” she said

“You are right, I can totally rely on chance and luck, I need to do something, get them for me Nyla, my best warriors”

“Who?” Nyla asked

“Lyra, Zita, Korax, Xanthos and Theron, assemble them!” I yelled

“Okay my Queen” Nyla said and quickly left

Just stay where you are Helga, I will destroy you

💥 Elsie’s POV 💥

I rode towards the elf kingdom to get Kiara

She’s an elf, she’s good with sword but amazing with an arrow, she’s brave and pretty too

I reached the elf kingdom and I rode to her house

I reached there and climbed down from my horse

I went inside the house but I couldn’t find anyone

Where is she?

I came outside the house and looked around, there’s no sign of anyone

“Are you looking for someone?” I turned to see an old man

“Yes, am looking for Kiara” I said

“You can’t find her here, she stays at the palace now” the old man said

“Palace?”

“Yes, she’s one of the palace warriors” he said

“Okay, thank you” I said and I climbed my horse and rode to the palace

I reached the palace and I climbed down my house

I should probably ask the guards about Kiara

“Hey, the King is asking for you” I heard a lady say to one of the guards and I turned to look

“Kiara?” I said and she looked at me

It is her

“Elsie?” She called unsure and I nodded then she hugged me

“I seriously thought you died Elsie, even though you left us, I expected you to still keep in touch and visit us once in a while but you didn’t and I started thinking that you might be dead

“Am sorry for leaving and not keeping in touch with you guys” I apologized

“It’s okay, come with me” she said and she took me to her room in the warrior quarters

“You are a Palace warrior now” I said

“When everyone left the Order, I decided to come back home but as time went by I thought I was wasting my skills by sitting idle at home so I decided to come to the Palace and work for the King” she said

“That’s great, it totally suits you” I said

“So how have you been, why did you suddenly pop up here?” she asked

“I really need your help Kiara”

“With what?” She asked

“Midland is in danger, the Ice Queen is back and I need you to journey with me to the Island of Langerhan to get the only sword that can kill her”

“Island of Langerhan? That place is really dangerous” she said

“Am asking you to risk your life Kiara, I know it’s a lot but I won’t be asking if it isn’t important”

“Why should I risk my life? I might have trained in Midland but it isn’t my kingdom, am the commander of an army here and I have my own battalion so am happy here protecting my kingdom”

“You don’t understand Kiara, no kingdom is save from the Ice Queen, the moment she finish conquering Midland she’ll come for all other kingdoms, she won’t stop till the whole world worships her and you know it” I said and she kept silent

“You an elf warrior Kiara, let’s end the Ice Queen before she ends us all” I said

“You are right, I am an elf warrior and I must protect my Kingdom, when should we depart?” She asked and I smiled

“Meet me at the Misty Ocean’s shore in a day’s time” I said

“Okay, I’ll be there”

“Thanks Kiara” I said as I stood up and hugged her

I left the elf kingdom and rode to the Barbarian territory to get Kali

💥 Erik’s POV 💥

I stood in front of the King’s chamber still contemplating on whether I should tell him that am leaving tomorrow

I should tell him, it’s not right if I just disappear like that

I took a deep breath and then opened the door

My Dad, the Queen and Kendrick, the Queen’s son were all seated

“Have you lost your manners Erik, don’t you know how to knock on the door before barging in?” The King said

“Am sorry father” I apologized

“I think Erik has started growing wings my love, he’s being so disrespectful” the Queen said

“What else do you expect from him mother, he is a concubine’s son after all” the Queen’s son, Kendrick said

“Do not mention my Mom” I said

“How dare you talk back at me” Kendrick said

“I think we’ve spoilt Erik too much my King, he needs some punishment to bring him back to his senses” the Queen said

“Maybe I guess I need to put you in the dungeon for a week without food to teach you a lesson” the King said

“No need father, am leaving this place tomorrow” I said

“And where are you going?” He asked

“The Ice Queen is currently destroying Midland and am going to the Island of Langerhan to get the only sword that can kill her”

“You’ve finally gone crazy, you’ve never done anything to help your kingdom and you are off to help others just to win their hearts over” the Queen said

“Forget about it mother, am sure he will die there, Island of Langerhan is dangerous place after all” Kendrick said

“I have no problem with dying Kendrick but I do hope the Ice Queen comes for the Hatian Empire and end fools like you”

“What!” Kendrick said surprised

I don’t usually talk to them like this but since am leaving, I might as well give them a piece of my mind

“Did you hear him my King, Erik just insulted our son” the Queen said

“Apologise right now Erik!” The King yelled

“I won’t father” I said

“What?”

“Am not apologising, all my life am always the one saying sorry if I am wronged, for once father can’t you look at me lovingly, can’t you say you love me too, you’ve never once commended me father, you are always on their side and scolding me, for once can’t you be on my side too?”

“Stop talking nonsense and apologise this instant” the King said

“It’s okay father, I don’t need an apology from the son of a worthless concubine” Kendrick said

“What?!” I said trying to hold myself back

“I actually don’t blame you Erik, I blame that harlot that brought you to this world and am actually glad she’s dead” Kendrick said with a smirk on his face

That’s it

I went close to him and punched him on his face

“Never in your worthless life ever call my mother” I said and I turned to leave

“Erik come back here!!” I heard the King and queen called but I didn’t look back and l left the chamber

It was my mistake for thinking of telling them, I should have just left without them knowing

💥 Queen Helga’s POV

I walked to the General’s tent, he was having a meeting with the Captain and the Commanders

“What’s going on?” I asked

“The Ice Queen army has sorrounded our camp” one of the Commanders said

“What!”

“And worse, our food rations can only last us for 5 days” the captain said

“I told you to get more food rations General, but you told me we had more than enough!” I yelled

“Don’t yell at me Queen, my job isn’t to take orders from you, now go back to your tent and let us handle this” the General said

“Handle?” I scoffed “how will you handle this, the food rations will finish soon and we are totally sorrounded so tell me General how will you handle this or will you let our warriors starve?” I asked

“We attack them” he said

“That’s stupid General, they are much more than us now, attacking them without a good strategy will be like walking into our own death” I said

“The strength of an army it’s not on it’s size” he said

“It’s on its coordination, zeal and cooperation, I know that but I don’t think our army currently has that. You all don’t think at all, all you want is to charge in and fight and that’s not how you win a war”

“What do you know about wars, I’ve won many wars as a General Queen and I don’t need any advise from a novice like you”

“But General…”

“Enough! Go back to your tent Queen and let us do our job, I’ve had enough of your ranting” the General said and I scoffed and stormed out of the tent

Their stupidity will lead them to their early grave

💥 Elsie’s POV 💥

I rode towards Kali’s domain in the Barbarian territory

Am sure it will be easy to convince Kali cause she never back away from a fight, she loves adventures and she’s the bold one

I climbed down from my horse and went towards her home

I was about opening the door when I heard her voice

“Elsie? Is that you”

I turned back to see her holding a dead rabbit

“Kali!” I said as walked up to her

“It’s been such a long time Elsie how are you” she said as she dropped the rabbit and hugged me

“Am fine and before you say anything else, am sorry for leaving you guys back then” I said cause I knew she’ll definitely talk about that

“It’s okay, though I was angry then but am okay now” she said and I smiled

“So what’s up” she asked

“I need your help Kali, the Ice Queen is back and she’s currently at war with Midland”

“What!!”

“Am on a mission to get the only sword that can kill her and I need you to journey with me” I said

“Are you talking about the mystical sword?” She asked and I nodded

“In the Island of Langerhan?”

“Yes” I said

“Great, am in” she said with a smile

“You sure? It’s a dangerous journey and you might die” I said

“Come on Elsie, you know me, I’ve never been afraid of death, and I’ve always loved adventures especially dangerous one so I can’t pass out on this opportunity” she said

“You haven’t changed a bit Kali, am happy you agreed to help me” I said

“Are you getting the others?” She asked and I nodded

“I wish you luck then cause you gonna need it especially with Gia, she most upset when you left, she said you betrayed us” Kali said

“I didn’t betray you guys Kali” I said

“I know, am just telling you what she said”

“Yeah thanks, let’s meet at the shore of the Misty Ocean in a day’s time so that we’ll begin the journey” I said

“Okay, I’ll definitely be there” she said and I muttered a thanks

I climbed my horse and rode off

I deliberately saved the hardest for the last, Gia is the most stubborn of us all and she’s my sister and I know exactly where to find her

💥 Nyla’s POV 💥

I wonder what mother is planning by asking me to assemble her most dangerous warriors

But I managed to get them and we are waiting for her in her chamber, she’s currently with Castor now discussing the situation of the war

Lyra, Zita, Korax, Xanthos and Theron, they are mother’s most dangerous warriors

Lyra is intelligent and she’s good with swords, Zita is the crazy one, she’s always hungry to spill blood, Korax is the serious one, he’s an elf and he’s specialty is arrows, Xanthos is the most loyal one, we are loyal but Xanthos is loyal to a fault and he loves using two swords, Theron is like the male version of Zita, the only difference is huge and not that smart but when it comes to strength, he’s the best

I looked at each of them one by one, I would I’ve been intimidated by their looks but I am the Ice Queen’s daughter and no one intimidates me

Mother came in we all bowed and she sat down

“I asked Nyla to assemble you all cause I have a special mission for you. Helga sent some people to the Island of Langerhan to get the only sword that kill me, I need you all to go to the Island too and stop them from obtaining the sword by whatever means necessary” mother said

“That won’t be a problem my Queen” they said uniformly with a bow

I wish mother will let me go too

“You will go with them too Nyla, you will lead them in this mission” she said and I smiled

“Your wish is my command my Queen” I said as I bowed

“I’ll give you all a day to prepare for the journey, you may all go” mother said and we all left her chamber

Mother trusted me and asked me to lead this mission, I’ll make sure not to fail her

Elsie has convinced Leo, Erik, Kiara and Kali to go with her, remaining Gia
And turns out Gia is Elsie’s sister, I hope she agrees to go with her

Am I the only one that was happy with the way Erik punched his step brother, Kendrick?🤷

I wish the General will just die so that Queen Helga can take charge, all he knows is taking action and fight

The Ice Queen is sending her own warriors to the Island too, I think this is getting interesting
It’s definitely not going to be an easy journey for all of them

They’ll be leaving for the Island in the next episode 😊
