Chapter 49

IVY

“Aaah” I gro-ned feeling a sharp pain in my stomach.

I tried to turn around but was unable because of the huge burden on my stomach and torso.

I opened my eyes in pain and soon my eyes went narrow in anger looking at Fredrick’s leg which was resting on my stomach causing me pain while he was laying on his stomach on the corner half hanging on the bed.

“FREDRICCCKK!!!!!!!!!!!” Without thinking, I shouted on my lungs.

“What happened? What?” He sat up with a jolt getting startled at my scre-m.

“What the hell?” I raised a brow at him.

” What?” Heasked confused.

” Why you were sleeping like a h¡ppopotamus? Do you know I am dying with pain in my stomach due to the weight of your elephant type leg.” I gro-ned making his jaw dropped to ground.

“I didn’t invite you to sleep next to me.” He said shrugging and lied back closing his eyes.

My mouth hung opened.

“Just wait!!” I murmured and stood on bed.

” Idiot!!” He peered at me and again closed his eyes shaking his head at my nonsense as am now jumping on the bed.

“Ouchhhaaa!!!” Frederick scre-med when I sat on his stomach with a thud.

“Get up!!! You duffer!!!” He gro-ned pushing me aside.

I burst into laughter and after arguing for some moments I finally got off.

” damn! my stomach!!!” He narrowed his eyes.

“Tit for tat!!!” I grinned smirking.

“I just hate you woman!!” He mewled.

“Awwnnn, I have many loving people that I don’t care about your single hatred”

I wiped imagianry dust from her shoulder and went out humming.

He cursed under his breath looking at the time.

He put his towel on his shoulder and went towards the washroom thinking about how I ruined his sleep.

“Ivy have become so careless this days. Look she haven’t even make breakfast yet.” Ronald said making faces.

Micheal was about to add something more sarcastic but looked at me as I was standing behind Ronald with my hands on my h¡ps, he closed his mouth back.

“I am telling you we should tell her she is sleeping alot nowadays. She should… ahh!!”

I hit him.

He whined looking at the slippers.

“What the hell is this?” He whined.

“This hell is called slippers which is a device used to reshape the brain of a friend like you. It is purely herbal and free of any sideffects.” I explained batting my lashes.

Ronald’s mouth hung opened while Michael burst into laughter.

“Hope it worked?”

I took my slippers from his hand and went towards the kitchen.

FREDRIC

I was running in the garden when Aaron came to me

“Did you see the news?”

“No! Why?” I asked wiping the sweat from my forehead with a towel.

“Go and check the results of your most noblest deed.” Aaron said in a taunting tone.

I looked at him confused but instead of replying Aaron signalled me to move in.

Michael and Ronald were already watching news on t.v.

👩🏽‍💼”All the police officers of sun town police Station had turned into a haunting team of safeguards. They have attacked Chief Minister’s home and got many illegal weapons whivh he was hiding over years. According to sources we came to know that those weapons cost millions of dollars which he got from common fund of nation.” A reporter said and I smirked looking at the video of chief minister where he was trying to pull his hair out.

Just then my phone rang.

📞”Hello!!” I answered without looking at the caller I’d.

📞”Hello Frederick. what did you do? You just ask the police officers to be your teammates for sometime but what is happening here? Control them before…”

📞”Before or after!! You can’t do anything now. You can’t stop this flowing flood now Mr minister consider this a reward of your evil deeds and don’t you dare call me again or you will be the next one on the list.”

With this I hung up the call and went to my study smiling victoriously.

📞”Hello samuel” I dialled a number and put my phone on speaker.

📞”Yes sir”

📞”What happened about the job I gave you?”

📞”It is almost done sir!! All the cameras are being planted in Andre mansion. Any of his activity can’t stay hidden now.”

📞”Very good!!” I slammed my fist on the table in excitement.

📞”And sir about Andre Nathan….”

I rolled my fist at the mention of his name.

📞”What about him?”

“He is in England since last night and he won’t come before three days.”

📞”That is in our favour then. Wh¡p his father until then to the extent and I will deal with him personally.”

📞”Okay sir” With this inspector Samuel hung up.

It was five in the evening. When I was looking for pasta recipe on Ronald tab when the net signal went off.

“What the hell is this?” I whined and taking the tab with me as went out to get signals.

In this trance I removed Wi-Fi password from the tab.

“Ronald” I called upon him but didn’t get any response.

“Oh yeah he is not Home” I remembered

Just then my eyes landed on Frederic study door.

Everyone knew that his study always have internet because he had a separate device for himself.

“Excuse me!!!” I said standing in front of Frederick who was typing something on his laptop.

He hummed in reply.

“Can you tell me the Wi-Fi password? Please?” I said innocently.

“First k-ss me” He said in his trance and I felt as if someone had poured bucket of cold water on my head.

“What??” I scre-med looking at him as if he had grown horns.

“Ivy, What is with you and yelling all the time?” He gro-ned shutting down his laptop.

I stepped back when he stood up.

“I just asked you the password.” I said calmly.

“Oh that yeah first k-ss me.” He said remembering.

“No!! I won’t!! Only for a password? I won’t k-ss you.” I said glaring at him.

He looked at me confused but soon realization hit him and a wide smirk made it’s way to his face.

“Why?” He said stepping towards me.

“It is not cool.” I said stepping back.

” What is not so cool in it?” He said gagging me between his chiseled and toned chest and wall.

I held my hands over my chest to maintain distance between us.

My heart was running a marathon ready to pounce out of my body anytime soon.

“Can’t a husband ask for a k-ss from his wife? ” He said softly.

I was looking at the floor as if it was the most interesting thing on Earth.

“Speak up dear wifey” He said holding my chin up.

I hummed with wide eyes.

“k-ss!!” He said putting his finger on his l-ips.

I know that he is just joking around.

” Dont let him control your movements. When he tries to surprise you shock him with your bold moves. Try to make him learn that you have become his addiction because addiction is worse than love.” Just then Eva voice rang in my ears and I grinned.

” Why not dear husband” I said slapping his chest playfully.

He was taken aback by my move.

I guess this was not the reaction he had thought of.

I leaned on his face staring in his eyes directly.

He was monitoring my every move.

A spark flew around when my l-ips brushed against his cheek.

“Here you go” I smiled pulling back while he stood there unmoved thinking about our touch against his skin.

” Come on move aside!!” I said punching his arm bringing him out of his trance.

“yes” he stepped aside clearing his throat.

“Password?” I said again.

” k-ss me first.”

He said stepping out.

“Still?”

“Damn it!! This is the password, “k-ss me first!” He facepalmed himself that how non sense he was sounding.

“Ohh!! But who the hell sets such password?” I said making strange faces.

“All thanks to your super bloody idiot bestie, Ronald the great!!” He shouted from outside.

Well surely I should thank him.

If he was here then I wouldn’t have got a chance to k-ss you in my senses.

Ohh, thank you bestie

I jumped squealing.

Chapter 50

FREDRRICK

It was one at night when I returned home.

After parking my car in the porch, I was going in when my eyes landed on a petite frame sitting on the grass in the centre of garden.

“What are you doing here?” I asked going closer to her.

“Oh, you are back?” Ivy grinned looking at me.

” No I am still on my way.” I said mocking her.

” You don’t have to be a jerk, you know.”
She pouted and turned her head sideways making faces.

I looked at her in amusement.

“Go to sleep or else you will be roaming around like a lost puppy wh0le day.” I said pointing towards her room.

Before she could say anything, my phone rang.

Taking my call, I went away.

After almost half an hour I came back hoping that she must have gone to sleep but found her sitting there still.

” Why aren’t you going in?” I raised a brow at her.

She didn’t say anything and kept on moving her fingers in air pointing towards sky.

I sighed and sat beside her.

Ivy looked at me in shock but I ignore her shocking looks and sat cross legged on grass as her.

“Why are you sitting here?” She asked.

“So now are we talking?” I said in amusement.

“No!!” She said emphasizing.

” Why?”

“Because I am offended with you.”

“What is that so?”

“Because I waited for you so long but you kept on your idiotic attitude and didn’t bother to come early. In fact my legs are hurting because of walking this much while waiting for you.”
She said in one breath throwing her hands in air like a child.

This melted my heart bringing the most heartwarming smile on my l-ips.

“I didn’t ask you to wait for me.” I said trying to tease her.

“Hmm!! You didn’t!! Actually I am fool you know?”

“Yeah!! A big one!!” Isaid seriously.

” You!!… Just get lost! I don’t want to talk to you!!” She said making faces.

“Okay sorry!!” Ismiled.

“What? What did you say?” She turned her head facing me with a jolt.

“What your ears heard” I said raising a brow.

” It was like I am sorry. Did I hear right?” She said smiling widely.

I hummed looking at the sky.

“Wow!” She jumped still sitting.

I looked at her and shoke my head murmuring ‘idiot’

“I am going in. You also go in… It is late…” I was about to stand up but she pushed me back.

“No stay here with me. Can’t you see how beautiful the sky is looking now?” She frowned ignoring my clenched jaw.

“Stop your nonsense now!!” I said sternly.

She again pushed me back and this time I laid on the grass straight.

“Perfect” She muttered and laid beside me putting her head on my arm.

My jaw clenched.

I am not the one who get free with people this much.

I was about to shout but my words died on my l-ips when I felt her warm breath against my torso.

For the first time an unknown and strange feeling overcame my anger leaving him gawking about the name of itself.

I sighed and looked upward.

I was engrossed in my thought when she pulled my shirt.

“Hey, Frederick” She was still looking at sky.

I looked at her hand which was patting my chest and then at her face which was being illuminated by moonlight.

“What?” I asked softly.

” Look at that star” she pointed at one of the stars from the galaxy shining on the sky.

“What about it?”

“It deserves a heart!!”

” Why?”

“Look it’s so beautiful!! So shiny!!” She squealed.

“So you mean anyone who is beautiful deserves a heart?”

“No idiot!!” She slapped my arm.

I glared at her but she was unaware of my glares as that star was the most interesting thing for her for now.

“It deserves a heart because it’s too illuminating and spreading light which will help the weary travellers and the ones who lost their path of life due to the the darkness of light to see their ways ahead. Anyone who spreads light and help others selflessly deserves a heart. What do you think? Am I right?” She said grinning and turned towards me facing me.

My eyes remained glued with her face and her smile as soon as they made their way to her and I forgot to blink as if it was the most beautiful sight they had ever seen.

In that beautiful and calm night which was full of feelings, I was seeing many mesmerizing things other than that star.

First her scre-ming bright eyes and secondly her dancing smile which was looking breathtaking on her shimmering face.

“May this beautiful smile never leave your l-ips”

At that instance I prayed to God to keep this innocent soul which was laying next to me always happy and delighted like this.

First time I realized that her smile was the most beautiful of all the women out the wh0le universe.

It was not smile which used to make her different from all but it was she who used to make smile beautiful and enthralling from all.❤

I was engrossed in my thoughts for so long.

When I didn’t hear from her for sometime I turned my head and found her sleeping near my heart in my arms.

My l-ips curled into a hyptotising smile on their own remembering our previous encounter in my study.

I moved a loose strand of her hair from her face and pinned it aside.

Moving closer to her face I scanned it fully but found no evil.

I stole one last glimpse of her before putting my l-ips on her forehead.

Moving back I layed straight and closed my eyes.

Not much moments had passed when Ivy turned fully towards me putting her head on my chest and her arm around my torso.

I opened my eyes and saw her sleeping peacefully.

I sighed and put my arm on her back and pulled her closer securing her in my arms.

Just then I heard the rhythms of our beating hearts and realized that hearts are made in pairs and no one can separate us from the day we were born till eternity. Such hearts when meet each other, beat in a melodious tune none had heard of.

With smiles on my l-ips, we both entered in dreamland.

I was sitting in my study when my phone rang.

📞” Yes Samuel? Any news?”

📞”Yes sir!!”

📞”Spill”

📞”Sir we got the footage of all cameras we planted at Andre mansion. They are vulgar more than we thought. There are millions of drug bags hidden in their house. We got the locations of them already.”

📞”Fine!! We will invade in there at night.”

With this I hung up the call.

I was about to take another sip of my coffee when my phone rang again.

📞”Yes Aaron!!”

📞”I managed to enter in their secured account and you will be amazed to know what I found.”

📞”What?”

📞”They have signed a contract with European pr-stitution company and they are smuggling girls to them tonight.”

📞”What?”

This boiled my blood and I stood up.

📞” Yes, Moreover there is no security and army on the side of river they have choosed. ”

📞”Send our men there. I will meet them there at night.”

Hanging up the call I turned the front camera of my laptop on and started making a video.

“Sir someone had hacked our account and wh¡pped all the details from there.” Jack came running towards the launch where I was sitting with two brunettes.

“What??” I stood up shouting.

” Yes Sir!! And whoever he was, left a message in there for you.”

“What is that?”

“This!!”

Jack put laptop on table and a video started starring a man sitting with black mask and black cap on.

“Hello Mr. Andre!You must be talking about me right? Your account got hacked, that’s so bad. You are so foolish to put all the details of your bank account in your account. Well just think about the time when all the details of your bank account filled with black money and your most noblest deeds will be leaked. What will you do?”

“What and Who the hell he is?” I shouted throwing the vase on the floor.

“You must be shouting and cursing now and must be thinking who am I right? Then remember one thing only, Frederick is back!! Back to destroy you!!”

And the laptop screen went back leaving me with wide eyes.

“Frederick…” A whisper left my mouth.

” What do we do now Sir?”jack asked bringing me out of my trance.

“Kill him!!”
