ANDREA POV

“Its total chaos in that house”my mom muttered as she kept on cooking

“Why do you say that?”I asked

“As soon as he got back from school, they all began to argue, both the parents and young master himself”

“He had Injury on his face,I think he fought at school and that is why his parents were reprimanding him, do you know why?” She asked

“No I don’t “I lied. I didn’t want my mom knowing the real reason why Max fought at school, she will be more worried and that is what am trying to avoid

Just then the door opened and a maid walked in

“Get the coffee ready, The boss wants it in his study and he has asked that Andrea bring it”She said and left the kitchen again

“Me?”I asked suddenly feeling nervous

“Maybe it’s because you are the only one he hasn’t seen, when he arrived, his wife had asked all the workers to be present and you were the only one absent, hurry now,Take the coffee to them”she said giving me a push and slowly I went into the room only to see some guards standing by stairs case.

Are they for Max or for some thing else, I thought as I knocked on the door.

When I heard them say come in, I said a silent prayer and walked into the room.

As I got to the table, I put the coffee down and I didn’t bother to look up at his face or at his wife who kept on talking as I walked in

I turned to leave only to hear him say behind me

“We met earlier today”I turned only to see the man that had been with the principal this morning

“You were the reason why my son was fighting with his friend right?”He asked making me feel uneasy

Why did he have to be Max father, he had witnessed the fight at school earlier,I had thought that once I meet his father, I will only make him see the good things about me but on his arrival he had to witness his son fighting over a girl and that happens to be me.

“I…..I…….”I began to stammer only for him to wave off his hand

“You don’t have to explain, i already know what i have to know, now leave”He said dismissing me.

I began to head out only for him to say again.

“The guards at the stairs are not just there for fun, so as you leave,know where you are going to”he said and I nodded and left the study.

That was a warning, he is telling me not to go and see Max.

How would I do that with so many guards by the stairs, I won’t be able to get a glimpse of him, I thought as went back to the kitchen, I just hope that he is alright.

I helped mom a bit and then went to my room to do some Assignment.

Taking my phone, I called his number but he wouldn’t pick and so I sent him a message.

MAX POV

I layed on my bed,fingering the injury on my lip.

I had let my anger take over and instead of listening to Andrea plea not to get into a fight,I still went ahead and fight it out with Jack.

It took me a while before I realised that it was all a set up between. Jack and Rose.

Some how they knew that my father was coming to the school and so Jack had come up with the k-ss knowing that it will get me mad and that I would want to retaliate.

They had planned it so well that my father will see the fight.

Knowing that he would only blame the situation on Andrea.

“You are the number one student of jupiter high but it turns out that you are not that smart when it comes to dealing with situation like this”Jack had said as we had both gone to the infirmary.

“You planned this right?”I asked

“Of course”he replied giving me a smile

“All for what?”I asked

“For Andrea of course, do you think Rose and I will just sit back and watch uou two be together ? We can’t do that! Our hearts have been stolen and it’s a must that you two return it back to us”

“Having your father see us while fighting will certainly make him dislike Andrea and knowing how your father is, he will do his best to separate you two from each other”He said and angryily I pulled him by his shirt Wanting to hit him again

“Go ahead! Go ahead and hit me, it will only make your father see how Andrea have managed to make you into a fighting beast”he said and i let go of him

“The more you act crazy, the more it will be for you to be with Andrea, I can’t wait for the day that that will happen”He said softly .

It took me a lot of will to control my anger and when I finally did control it, I stared at him

“Stop wasting your time and energy Jack because Andre will always be mine, get that stored into your head”I said and walked out of the infirmary.

I knew that my father was angry but I never expect him to get some guards on me.

As soon as we got home, I saw the guards And all other servants waiting for our arrival.

As soon as the workers went back to their duties, the first thing i received from my father was a slap.

“Honey don’t!” my mom said as she held me away from him

“Why? Does it hurt to see him hurt, you should have been more strict with him, you should have made it clear to him that Rose is the only girl we want for him, you should have been more hærd on him”He yelled at my mom

“But I did!!! I was strict with him”she said still holding onto me

“If you were,he wouldn’t be doing this! He would know what his duties are from pleasure, you have no idea how embarrassed I felt when I walked into the midst of the student only to see my son rolling on the floor with his class mate and it’s all because of that no body!”he yelled and that got to me

“Don’t insult her father! Call me what ever you want but don’t insult her”I said and he raised his hand to hit me again but my mom got In front him and he stopped

“You can stop me father, I love Andrea and am not going to leave her just for a business deal you have made with Rose father, I will not let you use me for your business and I won’t let you meddle with my love life”

“I see! This girl have totally charmed you and you were foolish enough to fall ” he yelled again

“You are wrong about some thing father, Andrea never charmed me, I did every thing, I pursued her, I saw her first, I fell for her first and though she tried to stay away, I didn’t allow it and do you want to know why, it’s because I love her ,I love Andrea and I won’t let any one of you come between us”I said

“I know that, I know that you wouldn’t let any one come between you guys that is why I came here prepared”he said looking strange and the Guards who were by the door walked in.

“Lock him up In his room”He said to the guards who siezed me immediately

“What is this honey, let him go!”My mom said

“This is the only way to make him see reason”He said as the guards kept pulling me away

“If he resist use any means,just get him to his room “He said and went into his study with my mom following him.

Through the time that I have been locked up, I kept on wondering what my dad will do and how I will stop it.

Being locked up,without my phone or any thing makes me so furious.

I got out of bed and went to the window,I opened it only to see Andrea standing below it and when she saw me, she gave me a big smile.

I had wished to see her and there she is ,I thought as I gave her a smile too.

The guards weren’t out side to stop her from seeing me here.

I wonder if my dad have said any thing to her or if he have done some thing.

“How are you!”She said softly

“Fine and you?”I asked

“Missing you”she said and i felt hurt.

Why won’t my parents just leave me alone, why do they keep on trying to rule my life,For the first time in a while,I found happiness by being with Andrea and yet they are trying to take that happiness away from me, it hurts, it really hurts.

“I miss you too?”I replied

“There are a lot of things that I want to ask but I will save that for later when you are out of your room”She said giving me another smile of hers

“I……love……you”she said making a heart with her hand and i smiled at her loveliness”

“See you tomorrow Max, am sure that by then your father will have let you out of your room”she said waving at me and I don’t know why I feel that it will be the last time I see her.

ANDREA POV
“Don’t!!!!”He yelled waving his hand towards me,I didn’t want to be a problem, I thought as I stood by the floor waving him off.

I walked in heading to my room and some how I felt like it would be the last time I see him.

Just having that thought brought tears to my eyes.

I don’t want to leave but what should i do, if his father asks me to leave him, I thought as I stood by the corridor trying to get myself in shape before going into our room.

I just hope that they never ask me to leave him, I thought as I went into the room and slept off.

THE NEXT DAY
I got back from school feeling so stressed, today lesson has been stressful and I could hærdly concentrate in each class because I was worried about Max.

Just as they have locked him up since last night, he didn’t go out today too..

They didn’t even let him go out to school today, this situation is becoming worse, I thought as I head to the maid quaters.

I stopped to stare at his window but there was no one and so I went in.

I got to the room and changed my uniform and then went to the kitchen.

“Am back mom”I said and I noticed she had a sad look on her face.

“What’s wrong mom?”I asked

“The boss wants to see you!”She said

“Me?”

“Yes,he wants to see you !” She said and i didn’t get the chance to escape Because a guard opened the kitchen door interrupting us

“The boss have asked me to escourt you”he said and having no choice, I followed him to the study to see Max father.

MAX POV
“What is wrong with you? You should at least eat some thing Max” My mom said as she stared at the tray on the floor

I layed on my bed not answering her,all I just want her to do is to leave the room.

“Don’t be like this! I made it clear to you that you and this girl can’t be but you kept on insisting, you managed to black mail me by saying you would leave and I let you do what ever you want but your dad, Your dad won’t let you ,so if you are thinking of ways to get back at your father don’t use these method”She said

“Max am talking to you!”She yelled at me and still I didn’t answer her

“Stop this madness and try to forget her and you also have to get your father forgiveness,if you do that you will get ……..”

“No”I said softly

“What did you say?”

“I said no?”

“So you don’t want to leave this room, you prefer to stay here locked up than to apologise to your dad”She said

“Am not talking about getting Father forgiveness, you asked me to forget her but I will never do that”I said

“You foolish boy, when will you learn?”she yelled at me

“It’s of no use talking to me mom, so just drop the topic and leave”I said and layed on the bed again

“Fine then, do as you please”she said

“No one should come in, I want to be alone”I yelled at her and she slammed the door in response

I looked at my watch and saw that the time have gone.

“She should be back by now?”I thought as I went to my phone gallery to stare at Andrea Picture.

It’s the only picture i have of her,Its the same one I had taken when we went to the beach for the first time.

How I long to have her with me, she had been on my mind last night and I was happy to see her when she came by the window.

I wonder when she will come tonight,I thought as I cradled the phone to my chest.

“I want to see you Andrea, if I can at least see you, I will know what to do with our present situation”I muttered to myself.

The door opened and I knew that it must be one of the maid or perhaps my mom.

With out turning around, I threw the pillow at the person standing there.

“Get out! I want to be alone”I said And waited to hear the door being opened but there was no response.

“Are you deaf, I said I want to be alone”I yelled and stood up.

I paused when I saw who was standing there starring at me.

“You still want to be alone even though am here” she said

“Andrea”I called feeling so happy and quickly I walked the few paces that seprated us and I pulled her into my arms.

“How did you come here with out the guards stopping you ?”I asked as I stared at her

“Well it’s a Secret of mine” she replied as she held me tight by the wa-ist

“But that is. ………”

“I will tell you how I got here but first you have to eat, I heard that you have been starving your self “she said and a while later i sat on the bed eating while she sat on the chair beside me starring at me.

“Aren’t you going to tell me”I said

“I will, when you are done eating”she replied

“Why do I feel that you are trying to keep some thing from me”I asked and she gave me a smile

“What would I be keeping from you?”

“You spoke to my dad right? You wouldn’t be here with me if he hadn’t given the permission, what did he say to you?” I asked

“Nothing”

“You saying nothing certainly means some thing,tell me what he said”I said pushing the tray away

“Well he gave us his permission”she said giving me a smile

“What?”

“I said that he gave us his permission”

“But how come? Why?”

“I manage to persuade him and he agreed” she said and some how I wanted to believe her but I couldn’t.

“With what? My father is not easily persuaded, What did he say?”I said

“Does it matter? What matters is that the two of us are now together, let’s not waste the time we have to argue with each other”she said and gave me a hug.

“I love you and you love me, let’s spend more time with each other” she added

I held her away from me and taking her hand,I began to head out side with her.

“Where are we g(oing Max?”she asked

“If we are allowed to see each other, I must thank my father”I said as I walked with her to the study room

“Max no”She said softly but I was no longer paying her any attention.

I barged in with out knocking and on seeing us, my dad dropped what he was doing to stare at us.

“What’s this?”he asked

“I heard from Andrea that you gave us your permission to date each other and I just want to say thank you”I said

“Permission, is that why you have left your room?” He asked

“You have given us your permission, so it’s only right that I leave my room,these are my things right, I will take them, since am no longer grounded and I can be with the girl I love, I dont think you will need it with you”I said And he laughed

“Fine then,take it with you and just as Andrea have said, I have given you my permission, enjoy your time with her”he said and went back to his work.

Andrea pulled me out of the study and some how I felt so happy.

Hearing it from my father himself have finally convinced me

“Max”Andrea called and I stared at her

“Did you hear that, he gave us his permission, you and I can be with each other with out any more obstacle,Am so happy”I said as I gave her a hug

“With my father giving us his permission nothing will keep us apart again”I said as I held her tight.

“Come with me”I said as I pulled her back and head upstairs with her.

“Why are we going back to your room ?”she asked and I gave her a smile

“What do you think?”I said laughing

“Oh no Max, not that! We aren’t going to do that”She said having a smile on her face.

I stopped and pulled her to me “you have never said no before, why are you suddenly saying No now ?”I asked

“We just got back together Max, aren’t you afraid that if we move things too far, your father might ask us to break up ” she said

“I don’t think so”I said and before she could argue ,I carried her in my arms.

“Didn’t you hear what he said”I asked

“What did he say?”she replied

“He said I should enjoy my time with you and that is what I will do,Now here we go”I said heading to my room with her in my arms.
