ANDREA POV
Have always known that some day, some how my past will still come back to haunt me but what I never knew was that the past will be coming this soon..
“You have no idea how much have missed you”he said as he let go of me again.
Just then Mary coughed behind me and I was brought back to reality.
I pulled away from him and went to stand behind Mary for support.
“Well hello Jack, it’s so nice to see you again but have got to dash off because I have some thing to do but he blocked my path
“Do you think that after seeing you again after sixteen years, I will let you go like this?”he asked
“What’s going on mom?”Mary asked
“Mom? Is she your daughter ?”he asked starring at Mary.
I couldn’t reply because My phone began to buzz
📱”Hello, oh I totally forgot about the painter,I will try to find one and head to the house soon”I said quickly and then I switched off the phone
“Is that from work?”Mary asked and i nodded.
Taking a deep breath,I stared at Jack who was starring at me intensely
“I would have love to catch up with you but as of now, am very busy,I will give you my……”
“I will give you a ride to where ever you are going Andrea, now that have seen you again, I don’t think I will let you out of my sight for even a second” he said
“I will kindly refuse you because I ……..”I couldn’t complete my sentence because he pulled my stuffs from me.
“Have told you that am not going to leave you”he said
“Fine then, I have to take my daughter home and I also have to get to work”I said softly..
“That can be done quickly,just give me a few second”he said and dialled a number and then he called some one.
“Some one will come and pick Mary up and I will take you to work, from what I heard earlier,you need some painter right? I will help you with that too”he said and just then a car stopped beside us and a young boy walked out of the car
“What’s the urgency dad”the boy said as he walked towards us
“I can’t believe this mom, it’s james the singer, is he your son?”Mary asked Jack and I stared at Jack who gave me a nod in return
“He is and he will be taking you home while I take your mom to work”he said
“But I……”
“Don’t worry okay, Mary is save with James, common James take her with you”I said softly
“Mom I will be fine, you don’t have to worry okay”Mary said and got into the car and before I knew what was happening, James was already taking my daughter home.
“Jack I …….”.
“Shall we?”he asked as he opened his car for me.
I got in and while he drive there was silence for a while but then he broke it by asking
“Why? Why did you leave just like that?”he asked
“Were you still longing for Ma…….”
“Please! Don’t call that name”I said clutching my bag tightly and he stopped
“Fine then, I won’t say his name but you have to tell me why you left”
“Fine then, I will tell you but first I have to find the painters”I said softly.
“Yeah , the painters, I know some one who owns a painting company”he said
“Oh who is that? Can you please give me his or her contact?”I asked
“Beatrice owns that company”he said softly and i turned to stare at him
“Do you want me to still contact the company?”he asked and I nodded softly
“You were eager to contact the company by your self but on hearing the owner name, you are refusing to do it right?”he asked
“Am not refusing,I just don’t know how I will talk to Beatrice”I said
“Don’t worry,I will do the calling then”he said and he really did it.
“She will be sending a painter to the address you have requested?”he said and I nodded softly
“Am I permitted to tell you that you look more beautiful now?”he said softly and I gave him a smile.
“You haven’t change at all”I said
“Have missed seeing that smile”he said as he gave me a smile too
“Just focus on your driving or we will both get killed” I said and he drove off.
We got to the house and I got out of it only to see Cathy waiting for me out side
“Thank God you are here Andrea! Have you found the painter because the owner are coming to take a look at it and……who is he?”she said flashing Jack a smile
“Haven’t you heard of move company?”I asked
“Move company don’t tell me that he is….he is Jack Cruise”she said solving the puzzle her self
“Hello Mrs”Jack greeted
“Oh its a miss, am still kind of single”she said and I couldn’t hold back my laughter
“Okay back to work, where are the painters Andrea”she asked
“They are on their way but why don’t we do this first, why don’t we do some of the painting our self”I said
“What? I dont even know the necessary procedure in painting” she said
“Then you find some thing else doing but let’s not wait idly for the owners to arrive and see that we haven’t done any thing to the interior designs of their house”I said and Cathy nodded leaving Jack and I alone to get some thing
“You are an interior designer?”he asked
“Yes I am”I replied and quickly walked into the house with him trailing behind.
JACK POV
“You need to do it this way!” Cathy said as she showed me how to paint the wall.
“Oh okay”I said as I focused on the painting again
“I will be back in a while”Cathy said as her left my side.
I finally could get the chance to take a peek at Andrea, I thought as I stood looking at her.
She had her hair up and she was painting the ceiling while she put all her focus on it
I still can’t believe that I met her again, If I Tel Beatrice and Brenda they might not believe me.
It’s been years since she left Jupiter high with out giving any one of us an explanation.
I can still remember when she left years ago,it hurt, I had thought that when Max left her, I would be able to give her all the love she couldn’t have with Max but she left with out saying a thing.
I plan on getting her to tell me why she left and to know if that daughter of hers is Max.
Though she had kept it hidden for a while, I knew that she was pregnant when Max left but I waited for her to tell me about it, I wanted to her to trust me but she chose not to and she left instead.
Now that have seen her again, am not going to let her out of my sight, I thought as I kept stealing glances at her.
Even until today my feeling a towards her havent changed a bit and i don’t think it ever will.
MAX POV
“Stop driving like a maniac and drive gently, am still feeling dizzy” Rose said beside me
“Do you think I care?”I said as I kept driving in a rush to move company.
“You dare to take my son with out my permission and then you let him go for an audition at a darn company?”I yelled at her
“Stop whining like a kid Max, Daniel is a grown up, it’s too late to show concern for him”she said
“What are you saying?don’t I ever show concern towards my own son?”I asked
“You have never shown him any concern, ever since he was born,you only make him feel unwanted, the only thing that boy ever wanted was his father affections but you were too busy making millions into your company to even consider your son”she said
“I do give him my time, I do love Daniel”I said
“Well we both doubt that, you only thing that have been going through your head for the past sixteen years have been Andrea, you havent been able to get her out of your heart”she yelled at me
“Is that why you act all crazy and beat up any female that you see with me?”I asked
“Yes, that is why I act crazy, I get jealous seeing you close to any one and that alone frustrates me”she said
“You knew what you were getting into when you married me Rose, you knew that I have only ever loved one person and that is Andrea, so stop acting crazy and do your duty as my wife and a mother, let’s go find my son”I said as I got out of the car and head into move company
Rose followed me in and together we went to the receptionist
“Please do you know where the audition is being taken place?”I asked
“At the top floor sir but am afraid that the audition have ended sir, every particip-nt just left the company”the receptionist replied
“Okay then, thank you for the info”I said heading out only to stop when I saw a picture of some one , Rose also stopped looking at the picture
“Isn’t that Jack?”she said softly
“It’s him”I replied as I stared at the picture properly
“Oh that is boss Jack, he is the owner of our company “The receptionist answered.
“The owner?”I asked surprised about this info.

ANDREA POV
“Good night every one” we greeted each other after a work well done.
After getting the painters help, it was quite easy to get the job done quickly and that wouldn’t have happened if Jack hadn’t interfered.
Where could he even be? I thought as I stared around the house, has he left? If he has then i won’t have to talk to him.
Cathy and I left the house and I was locking up when I heard her whistle
“Just look at that car, Mr hottie really lives a comfortable life”she said and I knew that she was talking about Jack even with out looking at him.
“You are really lucky”Cathy said as we walked towards him
“I didn’t want to be an intruder and so i came out to wait for you”He said
“Well I think this is my cue to leave” Cathy said
“Well I can take you back”Jack said
“No don’t bother, I will just leave you two alone”Cathy said and gave me a wink before running off
“Isn’t she cute?”Jack asked
“What?”
“She knew that I want to be alone with you”he said softly
“Look Jack I……”
“I know and you don’t have to be worried about me, what I want us to do now is to catch up on with each other”he said
“I want to know every thing you have been doing,even why you left years ago”he said and I nodded softly
“I book us at a restaurant, why dont we talk and have dinner”he said giving me a smile and I nodded softly
He moved towards me and pulled off the pin holding my hair
“You look much better with it down,common let’s go “he said starring at me and together we left for the restaurant.
DANIEL POV
I walked into the mansion that belonged to my grand parents.
When we left the states,my mom didn’t want to go back to her parents house, so we decided to come to my dad parents but I regret it.
I wished we had booked a hotel, where dad won’t have to find us.
If you are looking for a relationsh¡p where the son and the father doesn’t get along that will be the relationsh¡p between my father and I.
We hærdly ever talk and we hærdly see one another and that’s all due to his fault.
He neglects mom and I and goes out with a lot of bimbos.
Each time I see mom cry at night, it makes the hatred i feel for him grow.
Just then a message popped in on my phone and I read the text .
“Don’t come in yet, your father is furious
Stay at the garden till then” my mom texted.
Why should he be angry, he never cared for me, I thought as I walked into the house.
“This is all his fault,if my son doesn’t show up,I will make you regret it”my mom said
“Now you want to blame me! Who asked you to come back here?” My father yelled at her
“We had to come back, I just can’t stand any of your infidelity”
“How many times do I have to tell you that am not cheating on you, how many times do I have to say that Rose!”he yelled as he moved towards her
“Don’t you yell at mom”I said from the door way and every one turned to look at me
“Daniel!”my mom said and she ran towards me and pulled me to a hug.
“I thought I told you to find some where to stay”She whispered into my ear but I wasn’t looking at her, I was looking at my father who stood beside my grand parents
“Where have you been Daniel?”My grand mother asked
“I went for an audition”I said starring at my dad
I wanted him to know that I had defiled him, I thought
“So you decided to go for that audition right?”he asked
“Yes I did and you want to know what? I was accepted!”I said
“Daniel! “He yelled
“Just let the kid be, Rose told us that he loves to sing and that is what he wants to do,so…….”
“You won’t tell me how to raise my son, Daniel have disobeyed me and he will just have to suffer the consequence” my father said cutting short my grand ma
“Go to your room Daniel,you are grounded, no phone or seeing your friends, this will make you learn not to disobey me”he said and angrily I began to head up the stairs
“And soon as the sun shines tomorrow, I will be going to move company to tell them that you won’t be participating”he said and that made me stop .
“You can’t do that !”I yelled at him
“I can and I will, this is the consequence for disobeying me”he said
“You are annoying”I said and left the room.
As soon as I got to my room ,I laid on the bed.
I was so angry and each time I get angry,listening to music will always calm me but right now,I can’t even do that.
Just then I remembered the girl from earlier dancing and how she fell when she realised i was in the room and how she had stepped on me before leaving, some how that relieved my anger a bit and I wonder how thinking about a girl can relieve me from my anger, just who is she? I found myself thinking .
ANDREA POV
“Thanks for the dinner Jack, it was awesome”I said as he drove me home
“And thanks for telling me every thing, I had thought that I would have to use Coercion to get it out of you but am glad I didn’t use that”he said
“And am glad too that it didn’t have to come to that”I said
“You mentioned that you never told you know who about his child, haven’t your daughter been asking about her father?”he asked softly
“She has but I always get to avoid the question”I replied
“What will you do if he comes back some day”
“I haven’t thought about that yet, I never let my self think about him, he left Jack and I hope that he never comes back, my daughter and I are living happily, we don’t need him in our lives “I said
“I hope you stay true to that “he muttered softly
“What?”,
“Nothing, am just saying that you need to take care if your self, always do that okay!”he said
“I will don’t worry!”
“What about your daughter wanting to dance?”he asked
“I don’t want her to dance, it remind me of the past and I would like to keep the past in the past but each time I see Mary dancing in hiding, I hate my self for not wanting her to do what she likes but i know that if I let her do it, it will open up things I would rather forget, would that be being selfish of me?”I asked
“No it’s not and am sure that if you explained to Mary ,she will surely understand”he said and i noded softly
“I hope she does ,I hope she understands me”I said as I stared at the house.
“I wouldn’t want to intrude,so I will leave but I will surely come back to see you”he said
“Wouldn’t that be taking your time, you are a hot shot producer now and ……”
“And nothing will stop me from coming to see you Andrea! I mean it”he said softly and before I could stop him, he gave me a k-ss on the cheek and opened the door for me.
“I won’t walk you to the door Andrea, so good night “he said giving me a little push.
I got out of his car and waved him off, I don’t know if I should be feeling glad that I met Jack again but what I do know is that am happy to see him again, I thought as I walked into the house.
