MAX POV
“So tell me what you think of Andrea now?”Jack asked as we both sat down at a bar drinking to nothing

“You just told me a while ago that she hates me, now you are asking me what I think of her?”I asked

“I have to ask you, to know why you came back,hope it’s not to win Andrea back?”Jack as he gulped down his brandy

I had an urged to tell him that it is but Instead I found my self saying

“No, Rose and my son wanted to come back home and also It’s been long since have been here, so we decided to come back”I said

“And what about coming to Andrea company,I mean there are a lot of interior designs company, why choose hers?”he asked

“It’s just a mere coincidence”I lied

It isn’t a coincidence at all, I went to soul company just to see Andrea.

“So what are you going to do now?”he asked

“Keep on working with her, you shouldn’t be worried about me taking her, as have said am married and she hates me, you don’t need to feel insecure”I said

“And who told you that am feeling insecure, this time am very sure that Andrea love will be mine”Jack said

“And I suggest that you cancel what ever contract you have with her company”

“I can’t do those two things Jack, firstly,Andrea is going to be working on new project and we will have to see each other time to time and there is the company,I own half of it now, Brianna and I are more like partners, so you see we won’t be able to avoid seeing each other”I said

“You did this on purpose right?”he asked

“Don’t ask, you wouldn’t like it”I said and he stood up

“Fine then, I will just trust Andrea and the hatred she has for you, am sure that she won’t let you close to her”He said and left the bar.

I sat down alone, thinking about what he said, knowing that Andrea hates me hurt a lot and there is nothing I can do about it, it’s sixteen years late to do a thing, I thought sadly.

MARY POV
After giving the receptionist the necessary doc-ments for the next audition that will be taking place soon, I began to explore the company.

I went through every department and I was enjoying my explore when I saw the rude jerk.

Why is he here? Is this guy stalking me? I thought .

He was here on the first audition and then he was at Jupiter high too and now today he is here too, just what does he want with me.

With out thinking I went towards him and stood in front of him

“You!”he asked having a surprised look on his face but I wasn’t going to buy it

“Tell me the truth,have you been stalking me?”I asked

“What?”,

“You show up every where I am, just what do you want with me?”I asked

“But I am here for the ………….”

“Liar! I should have known but you having a cute face made me thought that there is nothing wrong but it turns out that you are a stalker, that just gives me the creeps” I said shuddering

“You must be Daniel Winston, well you must be here to submit your necessary doc-ments for the up coming audition”A lady said as she walked towards us

“Yes I am but how do you seem to know me!”he asked

“A lot of people enjoyed your audition on that day, your name and face have been engraved in my head since that day, you are truly a gifted kid” she said and suddenly I felt stupid.

He isn’t here because he is stalking me but because he is also among the people having an audition.

I began to walk off, only for him to pull me back.

“You said some thing about me stalking you but now that you see that am not doing that, aren’t you going to apologise”he said

“I….I…..”

“Wait here, I will go and drop off my doc-ments and then you will apologise to me properly” he said following the lady in

As soon as he left,I began to leave when I saw James walking into the company, quickly I took the other way and began to head towards the dance studio.

Trying to escape from the first one almost got me seeing the other one.

How am I going to get out of this one, I thought as I kept walking.

“Not like that, I think the your leg will go this way?”a girl who was amongst the three girls said

“I don’t think so, it’s some thing like this!”another said

“Or like this!”the third one said but they were all doing it the wrong way.

“What are you doing?” The rude jerk said beside me

“What are you doing here?”I asked

“You owe me an apology and have come to get it”he said

“I think that will have to wait, I need to show them how to do the step”I said

“Isn’t that called meddling “he said

“To you it might be but to me, it’s called helping”I said and went in to meet them.

DANIEL POV
I stood by the door way watching Mary amongst the girls.

At first they were rude but she managed to calm them down and they all decided to let her show them the step.

I stood anticipating the dance, I don’t know why but every thing about her excites me.

As soon as the music started, she began to dance to it and I wouldn’t deny that she is great.

She way she was twisting and twirling got me fascinated and why? I don’t even know, all I know is that this girl have managed to get me fascinated.

Have never felt this way with any one but on getting to this place, I began to and that makes me wonder some time, who is she and why am I drawn to her.

“That was amazing, it’s been taking us an hour just to do that part, will you be willing to teach us, the audition is a few days away “one of them asked

“Well am not sure but when I do have the chance,I will call you”she said and quickly they changed numbers.

She ran back to me,having a bright smile on her face.

“What do you think?”she asked

“I think that your meddling certainly helped them”I said

“I hope it does, am not that good myself”she said looking a bit unhappy

“Why do you say that?”I asked

“A certain person told me that I wasnt good”she said and i Remembered the first day we both met

“Oh that! It’s nothing, don’t let my words get to you”

“It already did and so have decided to work h-rder, so you won’t be able to criticise me again”she said

“And also am sorry, am sorry for behaving that way with you, I thought you were some sort of stalker”she added looking a bit shy

Slowly I walked towards her and gently out a hand on her head

“Apology accepted”I said and she stared at me and I did the same.

We were lost in each other until some one suddenly pulled her hand

“Come with me!”James said starring at me but then I held her other hand too

“She was with me first! If you have to talk to her, you should wait “I said holding her too

“And what do right do you have to say that ?”he asked

“A right as her boyfriend “I said and Mary stared at me while James stared at Mary

“Come with me Mary”James said pulling her again.

But I held her tight “she is not going any where with you”I said

“You both should stop it!!!”she said as she pulled her hand away.

“Am going no where with neither of you, just go away”she said and ran off, I was about to go after her when James pushed me back

“Just who are you and why are you going after Mary?”he asked

“I can also ask you the same question?”I said

“Don’t test my patience, you don’t want to see me angry ”

“Get Angry,I don’t care, you will be the one ruining your reputation”I said and he stared around to see people gawking at us

“I saw Mary first and …….”

“And does it mean that it should be first come, first serve?”I asked

“You Jerk!”

“Stop wasting your time with me, instead put in more effort to win her heart because I will be doing the same”I said and walked off.

Why the hell did I say that? What is wrong with me?.

JACK POV

I stood by the window of my apartment drinking all alone and thinking of Andrea and Max.

They are both working close now and if am not careful some thing might happen.

Andrea still has a reminder of her love with Max and that is Mary.

Max had an upper hand on that part but as he still doesn’t know of her existence,I can still relax a bit but I can’t say I can trust Andrea completely.

She says she hates him but am sure that deep down she still feels some thing for him and that is some thing I have to prevent.

She has to stay away from Max so as not to ressurect those feeling of the past.

The door opened and James walked in with out bothering to acknowledge my presence, he went straight to my whisky bottle and gulped down a lot.

“Hey! Hey! Drop that, you are still not of age to drink it”I said

“But I will be eighteen in a months time,let me indulge a little”he said looking angry

“No James, what ever is troubling you, I can listen to it, the whisky won’t help”I said and he dropped it down

“What’s wrong? You are not always like this, is it about a girl?”I asked

“Yes it is!”he said

“Tell me about it!”

“Well I like this girl, I like her a lot dad and I mean it this time but she keeps on brushing me off and there is this guy always hovering around her, At first he lied that they were dating and today, today he told me that we should fight for her heart and see who wins, it’s unfair dad, I saw her first,I liked her first, so why should I be worried about him!”he said looking so anguished and seeing James this way reminded me of the past.

“Could this girl be Mary?”I asked and he nodded softly

“I know you have asked me to stay away but I can’t, I can’t stay away from her now dad”he said

“Am not asking you to, you like her ,so go for it son, go after her and win her heart, who is your rival?”I asked

“A certain Daniel Winston, I looked him up online and his father name was what….I think ….”

“Max Winston?”I asked and he nodded

“I can’t believe this? “I muttered , it’s like history is repeating it self again, I thought

“Look here James, do all you can to win Mary heart, make sure she falls in love with you, do not lose her to him okay!”I said and he nodded swiftly

I won’t let the Winston take away the woman we love, not again.

ANDREA POV
“So what you are saying now is that you are now working for Max!”my mom asked as I explained to her the wh0le thing

“Yes mom, he has a house he wants to have remodel”I said as I did the laundry.

“So? Are you okay working with him? Will you be okay seeing him again?”she asked

“What do you think?”I asked

“You hate it ?”

“I hate is so much that am tempted to leave but I can’t, our livelihood is based on the money I get and also I owe a lot to Brianna, she accepted me even though I wasnt that good, she even gave me private lesson on interior design, I owe a lot to Brianna mom”I said softly

“So will you endure seeing the man who broke your heart years ago?”

“If I have to, I will mom and besides, I now have Jack beside me, he will keep Max away”I said

“If I may ask? What do you feel for jack?do you still think of him as a friend or are you thinking of starting some thing with him “she asked

For a while I stayed quiet, I also don’t know how to answer that but all I know is that I enjoy Jack friend sh¡p and his protection .

“I might start some thing you with him”I said and the moment it came out of my mouth, I regretted it .

Just then Mary ran down the stairs holding her laptop.

“Did you see this mom, I taught this girl’s how to do this step and they thanked me and it all went viral”she said happily.

“That’s my girl”my mother said and I gave her a smile.

Just then the bell was rung and Mary went to answer it,only to rush back in with a Pair of Jupiter high uniform

“I got my uniform today mom, isn’t it beautiful”she said

“Yes it is”I said as I stared at it, it hasn’t really change much, I thought as I stared at the uniform

“I need to see if it fits”she said and went up the stairs with the uniform and laptop.

“Now that Max is back will you tell him of his daughter existence?” My mom asked

“No! I won’t ever tell Max that he has a child, he is married to Rose and she even gave birth to his son, he doesn’t need to know that he had a child with me “I said angrily

“Fine then if that is what you want!”she said as she went to do her thing.

THE NEXT DAY
I got to work only to be told that Cathy and i will be having the day off.

Max had asked us to come check out his new home and knowing that it was a job that I had to fulfil, I went with Cathy.

A luxurious car had come to pick us up and I wondered if all this were things he had inherited or had worked hærd for.

“My Mr Winston is definitely a hot shot “Cathy said

“Hot shot my foot!”I muttered.

The car stopped in front of a villa, a villa I knew so well.

It’s the same villa we used as my house when I was still hiding the truth from every one .

Is he some how messing with me, I thought as I got out of the car.

Together Cathy and I went into the house and a maid welcome us in while we waited for Max to show up.

The house hasn’t changed, it’s still as it is, I thought as I looked around .

“Am sorry that I made you two wait but I was dealing with some thing important”he said as he walked into the room.

“It doesn’t matter, we weren’t waiting that long”Cathy lied and gave him a smile but I never did that

“You made us wait for an hour sir, if we had been at work, we would have done some thing more useful in that hour sir”I said and Cathy stepped on me wanting me to shut up

“Well am sorry and as compensation,I will pay you girls for your time!”he said as he stood up

“Does money solve every thing for you? Oh it does after all you are rich or should I say you are living off your father money”I said insulting him

” Stop it Andrea”Cathy whispered to me.

“Why don’t you take the remaining time off miss Cathy, I would like Miss Andrea to do the work alone”he said and I knew that I had over stepped my boundary and what’s worse, I don’t want to be alone with him.

“But sir ……”

“A transfer of half a million will be transferred into your account if you leave “I said Cathy stared at me and then at Max

“I can’t let half a million go “she said and left the room in a hurry.

As soon as she left, Max held my hand and began to pull me up stairs

“Let me go! Where are you taking me to! Let me go!”I yelled at him but he kept on pulling me.

I tried to resist but he bent and scooped me up in his arms

“How dare you! Put me down!”I said but he wouldn’t listen .

He took me to the balcony and put me down.

“If we aren’t going to talk business, then i would like to leave”i said

“Not until you listen to me!”he said

“I don’t want to listen to you Max, if possible I never want to see you, why the hell did you come back! You should have just stayed in your lane, why did you come to the place I work? Why did you even show your self to me?”I cried out in anger and pain

“Because I missed you!”he said gently

“Lies! You never missed me Max, you never did and you want to know what I thought each time you came to my mind, I hate you, I hate you so much Max”I yelled at him and we stood starring at each other.
