ANDREA POV
“I hate you!”I yelled out as the tears kept pouring

He stood there starring at me and then he began to walk towards me

Still crying I moved back,putting out a hand in front of me

“Don’t come close to me”I said as I tried to wipe off the tears but it won’t stop pouring and Max wouldn’t stop walking towards me.

He pulled me to him and hugged me close and the worst part is that I didn’t want him to leave me alone.

” Am sorry for every thing Andrea, am sorry for having hurt you,am really sorry”he said as he held me tight.

He pulled me and stared at my face and I did the same too.

We stood staring at each other and before I realise what he was about to do, he bent down and k-ssed me.

At first I wanted to push him away but I found myself k-ssing him back.

I held him close and k-ssed him the way he was k-ssing me.

It’s been so long since some one have k-ssed me, ever since the birth of Mary, have been working all my life, I never had time for any one until now.

It wasn’t until we heard some one foot step that we broke apart, I turned to stare out at the scenery,while I also tried to keep my self under control

“Why are you here?”I heard him asked

“Why can’t I be here, you are here and so I have to be right? My love”she said and i turned only to see Rose standing there starring at me

“And who is she ? “She asked

“Are you messing with me?”Max asked starring at her

“Do I look like I am messing with you! Who is she ? Okay I get, she is the slut you have brought here to cheat on me with right?” She asked

“Stop your foolishness Rose”he said to her but she wasn’t listening to her

“Tell me right now! Who are you ?”She asked as she began to move towards me but I held her back

“Leave Andrea, leave”He yelled at me and quickly I left the house

“Andrea? Did you just say Andrea!”that was the last thing I heard when I got out of the house and began to head to the bus station.

MAX POV
“Dont tell me that it is the same Andrea?”she asked

“She is the one”I said as I let her go and she slapped me

“You just got back and you are already hopping around with her!”she said

“What rubbish are you saying!”

“You jerk,it’s been sixteen years, sixteen good years and yet you haven’t forgotten her right? If Jack hadn’t call to tell me that you two were here, I wouldn’t have known”she said

“So Jack had told you where to find me and you came running here to do what exactly?”

“To stop you if necessary ,I won’t let you cheat on me with any one here Max and I won’t let you be with Andrea”She said as she left the house.

I stood by the balcony Thinking about what happened.

Andrea had told me that she hates me but she had also melted in my arms.

Could that have been a sign, could it have been a sign that she still feels some thing for me? I thought.

ANDREA POV
slowly I walked home, after the k-ss I had shared with Max, Instead of going back to work, I went for a stroll, I was so lost in thought that I didn’t realise that It was getting late.

I head into the house only to stop when I saw Jack , James, my mom and also Mary at the dinning room having dinner

“You are finally back”Jack said rising up to meet me

“What are you two doing here?”I asked as I let him k-ss my cheek.

“Well they came to see you but you got home late today”my mom said

“You could have just called me”I said .

“I told her not to, I was ready to wait”Jack said

“You must have waited a long time”I said

“No Miss Andrea, grand ma and Mary have been a great host”James said and i nodded softly

“Let me go and change, I will be out in a jiffy “I said and went into the room

I was brushing my hair when I heard a knock on the door.

Thinking it was Mary or my mom, I yelled for them to come in and I kept on brushing my hair.

I didn’t notice that it was Jack until offered his help to brush my hair

“What are you doing in here?”,

“Maybe I wanted to see your room or may be I missed you”he said as he took the brush to brush my hair

“Jack I……”I stopped when I felt him hold my wa-ist, he pulled me to him and cuddled me close.

“I know what you are going to say and no matter what you say Andrea, I won’t give up on you”he said as he k-ssed my neck

“Am just not ready for this yet!”I said and he turned me to face him

“I can wait, have waited for you for sixteen years,I can definitely wait some more”He said

“But that will be unfair to you”

“It won’t! As long as I have you,I will wait for you “he said and before I could stop him,he bent his head and gave me a k-ss.

MARY POV
I sat at my desk, checking my account for any more update on dancing and I didn’t notice James standing by the door way starring at me

Slowly he moved towards me and bent to look at my laptop

“What are you looking at ?”he said and i got up shocked

“How did you get in my room ?”I asked as I stared at him

“The door was opened”He replied

“Why are you here then, you shouldn’t be here, leave”I said but he walked towards the door and closed it

“What are you trying to do?”I asked as I moved back while he moved towards me

“The real reason why I came with my dad is to see you”he said still moving towards me

“Why?”I asked as I hit my back on the wall, I couldn’t move because he came towards me

“I wanted to give you this”he said bringing out a hair pin, he slid it into my hair and stared at me

“It’s so beautiful,just like you”he said softly starring at me

“James I…….”

“Shhh………I haven’t finish talking , I also came here to tell you that I…..I like you Mary, I like you so much”he said and I stared at him in shock.

“Mary! Mary !Mary!”I heard my grand ma voice and quickly I took his hand and pushed him to the back of the door while I held the door,using it to cover myself

“What’s wrong grand ma?”i asked

“Have you seen Jack, he was just with me downstairs”she said

“No I haven’t?”I said

‘”what are you doing? Why won’t you let me come in?”she asked

“Am getting ready for sleep”I said

“Fine then, sleep well, you will be starting school tomorrow”she said and then walked off.

I closed the door and turned only to see James standing very close to me.

I moved away from him quickly and he smiled because he noticed my reaction to his nearness

“I think you should be going now”

“Aren’t you even going to give me an answer?”he asked

“I…..I……”I couldn’t complete my word because he walked towards me and k-ssed my fore head

“You don’t have to give me an answer now,I can wait”he said and then gave me a smile

“Good night Mary”he said and left my room.

I quickly went to bolt the door, not wanting any one to come in

Does he really like me, I thought.

But why? Why would he like me out of all the girls and celebrity he meets every day.
Could he be messing with me,yes,he must be messing with me, I refuse to believe it , I thought I pulled off the pin to stare at it

But he won’t get me this if he didn’t like me.

Feeling rest less I layed on the bed starring at the pin.

I don’t know what to think,I just don’t know what to think again.

ANDREA POV
Hearing the foot step of some one approaching,I pulled away from Jack.

At first he was surprised and when he realised while I pulled away from him, he gave me a smile .

“You don’t have to feel shy, If any one should come in ,it’s either your mom, Mary or James”he said

“Am not feeling shy?”I denied quickly and he wrapped his arm around me

“Did you notice some thing?”he asked

“What ?”

“You didn’t pull away from my k-ss”he said and suddenly I felt guilty because while he k-ssed me,I was thinking about Max and the k-ss we shared earlier

“So does that mean that you….”

“We can give it a try”I said softly and he smiled and hugged me

“Thank you Andrea, thank you for giving me a chance, I love you, I really do”he said and i could only hug him.

I couldn’t say the word I love you and that’s all because I know that I would have to completely get Max out of my head before I can say those words again.

MARY POV
I stood in front of the mirror , all dressed and ready for school.

I wouldn’t deny, Jupiter high uniform fits me perfectly and it gives me a certain aura,I thought as I picked up my bag and went down stairs.

I saw my mom by the phone, she was talking to some one and she had a smile on her face, i hærdly see her smile like that, who is she talking to that is making her smile in that manner.

“A restaurant? Hope it’s not that fancy place you took me to the last time”

“Fine then, I would prefer that place”

“No, I don’t think we should tell them yet, we just started going out Jack, I think we should just hold on”she said

What? Mom and Jack are going out,I thought as I kept on listening to the conversation

“Fine then! I will see you in the evening”she said and switched off the phone.

I hid behind the door and watched her walk into the kitchen to cook the meal

“Mary! Come down now or you will be late for school”She yelled and quickly I pretended that I was just coming downstairs.

“Wow, look at my baby,you look gorgeous”she said as I went to sit at a chair to eat break fast

“Thanks mom, after all I take after you”i said.

I didn’t ask her about Jack because I didn’t want to pry and if she has a reason for not telling us then it should be left that way, mom have always been alone and if she has some one now am content with it.

“Won’t it be better to take a taxi!”she asked as she walked me to the bus station

“It would but I don’t want to, I don’t mind walking into the school, I know the school is meant for rich kids, that is one of the reason you asked me not to go but don’t worry, they are social care students like me and I don’t mind if am not rich like the other students, so don’t worry mom, I will be fine”I said softly and she nodded her head.

As soon as the bus arrived,I boarded it and when it got to its next stop, I got off and walked into the gate.

This is it, my dream school, here I come, I thought as I walked past other students who you could tell that they are all rich.

A car drove past us but I wasn’t really interested in it because I got a message from James.

“How was your night! Hope you are ready for school today”on reading his message it made me remember what he said last night.

He said some thing about attending this school too, what am I going to do if he comes to school?

“Why would he even like some one like me”I said and I didn’t realise that I had said it out so loud until I saw the other students starring at me

“Sorry! ” I muttered and began to walk fast but I stopped when I heard them whispering and I thought that it was about me but I saw them starring afar.

I also stared at the same place and was shocked at who I saw standing talking to a woman, it could be his mom!

“Isn’t he so hand some?”

“I wonder what class he is?”

“If he is single,I don’t mind going after him”

“Why the hell is here? “I said and the three girls who had spoken earlier stared at me

I turned to see them starring at me and I gave them a smile which they ignored and walk off.

I turned to see if he was gone but I stood shocked when I saw him starring at me.

I watched him wave his mother off and began to head towards me.

“Oh no!”I muttered and began to head back out side and if I hadn’t been watching, the car driving in would have hit me.

I was still reeling from shock when the driver got out of his car.

Just by hearing the scre-m every one made, I knew who it was before he got to me

“Are you okay?”James asked as he stood in front of me

“Yes,am okay”I said still shaking a bit

“I don’t think you are okay!”he said as he held my hand

“What are you doing?”I asked

“I will drive you in, you are still shaking from the shock”he said as he pushed me into his car and got in beside me .

I sat in the car and stared out only to see the rude jerk starring at me through the car.

James held my hand making me look at him and then he k-ssed it.

“What are you doing?”I asked trying to pull away but he held it tight

“Am I not even allowed to k-ss your hand ?” He asked giving me a smile and then he began to drive off.

I turned to see if he was still standing there but he wasn’t there.

He wouldn’t have seen that k-ss right? I thought.

As soon as James stopped the car, I got out of it and he did the same thing too

“Wait let me go in with you!”he said

“I’d rather you don’t do that, I want to go in my self”I said and with out waiting to hear his reply, I began to head in.

A lot of students were starring at me and am sure that it’s because of James, after all they would be wondering what a hot shot is doing with a girl like me.

With the help of no one, I got to the teacher office to register but I stopped when I saw him there already.

“Come in! You must have come to register too!”the teacher said leaving there no room for me to escape.

I walked in and as the teacher asked him some questions, he asked me too

“Your father is Max Callaghan, isn’t he that wealthy ty……”

“I would like it if you don’t talk about my father”he said quickly and the teacher stopped with his questions.

“Let me go and get your ID for you two”He said and walked out of the office.

There was silence in the room as soon as the teacher left, I turned to look at him,only to find him starring at me

“Do you have some thing to ask?”he asked

The thing about his father made me curious but I held it in

“Nothing!”I said swiftly hoping the teacher will get back soon, I don’t know why I always feel nervous around him.

“I have some thing to ask if you don’t !”he said and I turned to stare at him

“What?”

“Are you dating James?”he asked

“Of course not!”my answer was so swift that he gave me a smile

“Why do you ask and why are you smiling? Are you making fun of me because I don’t ……..”I stopped when he moved his chair close to mine

“Why are you coming close !”I asked shrinking back on my seat

“Tell me why he is always around yiu?”he asked

“Well that is because his father is a friend of my mom”I said

“You don’t like him right?”he asked again

“I don……wait why am I even answering your questions?”I said to myself

“If my father becomes your mom friend m, would you be close to me!”he asked softly

“Why would my mom be close to your father?”I asked

“Once a man and woman are close,it only means one thing and that is they are lovers, your mom being close with his dad certainly means some thing and you being close to that guy means some thing too, so quit the act and tell me right now, are you that guy lover?”he asked

“Really is that the only thing you can come up with! I can’t believe you said that!”I said getting angry

“Then tell me why he is always around you? A guy won’t act that way if you aren’t…….”

“Don’t you dare complete it, don’t you! I can tolerate any thing but you insulting my purity is some thing I won’t take from you or from any one else”I said seething with anger

“Just because he is always around me doesn’t mean that am sleeping with him and you having such thought makes you an idiot”I said and the teacher walked in handing us our ID card

“Your class is…….”

“My class is down by the right, I know it because you have told me, excuse me sir”I said and left the room.

I was still seething with anger as I went to my class.

Why would he think such a thing, it some how hurt hearing him say such a thing and I don’t even know why!.
