ANDREA POV
“You said what?”I yelled wanting him to say it again.
“That I love you! Having the sea and the wind as my witness, I love you Andrea and I hope that you won’t leave me because if you do i don’t know……”
“Don’t finish it Max, at least listen to my own confession”I yelled back at him.
“Having the sea and wind as my witness,I love you Max ,I love you so much that I will never ever leave you”I yelled at him and began to run towards him.
As I soon as I got to him , I hugged him very tight.
“Let’s never break up okay, now you know how much I love you, you know that I can’t live with out you,so don’t you ever leave me”I said as I held him tight.
“I know and I promise I won’t ever leave you”he said as he held me back.

“Go in and change your w-t clothes,you look a mess”he said as we both stood in front of Brenda’s house
“I Have finally made my decision Max”I said softly
“What?”
“Tomorrow,I will go to school and I will also go back home with you”I said
“You mean it? Are you ready to face them at school tomorrow?”he asked
“I will, after all I started this, I should face up to it and since I will have you there with me tomorrow, I wont be a weakling”I said softly
“That’s my girl!”he said as he k-ssed my fore head
“I will be at school tomorrow to give you a lot of strength, so don’t worry about it and have enough rest tonight”he sid and I nodded
“Good night?”I said and watched him drive off.
I turned to go into the house when I heard Jack voice behind me
I turned only to see him holding a bunch of flowers
I could hærdly think of jack today being with Jack made me forget it but seeing him now, every thing came back.
“I was passing through the suburbs and I saw this, it reminded me of you and so I bought it”he said
“Oh! “I said as I kept on starring at the flower
“You know it’s one thing to like you and also another to get you a bunch of flower”he said as he gave me a look
“Won’t you even accept this?”he asked and i stared at the flowers
“I don’t know if I should accept this flower, am not sure if you are giving it as a friend or as some one who likes me”I asked
“And if I told you that am giving it to you as some one who likes you?”he asked
“Then I will be refusing”I replied
“Is this because of Max?”he asked
“No, it’s because I treasure our friendsh¡p”I said
“What?”
“If I should accept the flower from you, I will only be giving you false hope and i don’t want to do that to you, you deserve more, you are worth more than that Jack and am sure that some one out there is your soul mate,that some one out there will be willing to take you into their life, am not that some one Jack, my heart already belongs to Max and it will always belong to him”I said
“So this is you rejecting me?” He asked
“Yes this is me rejecting you, give the flower to some one that will appreciate it better cause I won’t be appreciating it”I said
“So you have already made your decision?”he asked
“Yes I have, I just wanted to tell you so what ever you are thinking of you should stop,I will never be able to give back the love you want because I love Max and you don’t deserve some thing like that”I said
“Do you really think your love for Max will last, I keep on telling you that it wouldn’t last, you both are two worlds apart once his father return, you both will have to give up on this incredible of love yours, he will move on with Rose and where would that leave you?”He said
Have always thought of that too but some how I kept believing that our love can stand it but hearing it from Jack again made me feel less sure once again
“Think about it Andrea? Leave this relationsh¡p as soon as you can, don’t let it ruin you, I really don’t want any thing bad to happen to you”he said as he walked towards me to touch my cheek
“Am suppose to be the one saying that?”Max said and I looked up only to see him not too far away,he looked angry and I knew that he was going to do some thing to Jack due to his anger
When did he come back and how did he know that Jack was here.
“Buzz off Max, you have had your time with her, at least let me have mine now” Jack replied
“You really want to die right?”Max asked
“What are you going to do! Kill me?”Jack asked and angrily Max began to walk towards Jack but quickly I ran towards him and tried to stop him from doing some thing he will certainly regret
“Max no! Don’t pay attention to him”I said standing in front of him, he stopped and stared at me
“Andrea let him be! Have always wanted us to have a go at each other throats and I think now is the time”Jack said provoking max some more
“No! Don’t listen to him”I begged softly
“Do you really think your love will last, the both of you will never last,so just give her up now before her life gets ruined for good”he said and Max moved out of my grasp and began to head towards Jack who was waiting for him.
Deciding to follow my instinct, I ran towards Max and hugged him from behind
“Please don’t fight! I don’t want you to fight, please!”I begged and that got to him
He turned to look down at me and then he gave me a k-ss
“I won’t fight with him, why don’t you go in,side first “he said as he walked me to the gate and as soon as I was in, he went back out side shutting the gate close
XAVIER POV
I was on my way home when I got a strange text from Rose.
‘Are you hundred percent sure of the love
That Andrea has for you?am sure that you
You will respond with a yes but to tell you
The truth I doubt that love, if you don’t
Believe me go back to Brenda house and
See what is happening there your self, you
Will be shocked”
On reading it,I turned the car around, heading back to Brenda house, I stopped the car when I saw Jack bike parked a few metre from Brenda house.
I got out of it and walked there myself and I stopped when I saw him talking to Andrea.
He was Giving her a flower and some how I hoped that she will reject it.
She did it and even told him that she loves me but what got me angry is Jack who kept on putting more thoughts in her head.
I had a hærd time getting her to come back to me and if he kept on saying that to her, she will surely leave me as it is and I don’t want that.
The last thing he said got me feeling so angry that I wanted to kill him.
If Andrea hadn’t stopped me,we would have been hitting each other like crazy.
“I won’t fight with him, why don’t you go in,side first “i said as i walked her to the gate and as soon as she was in, I went back out side shutting the gate close.
I didn’t want her to listen to what I had to say to Jack.
As soon as I got to him I pulled him by his collar
“What do you want? Why won’t you leave me alone”I said
“You? What do I have to do with you! Am only doing this for one person and that is Andrea”he said
“Stay away from Andrea”I said pushing him to the wall
“And if I don’t?”he asked giving me a smile
“Can’t you see that she loves me, she will never love you, so stop pursuing her?”I said
“Can’t you also see that you are ruining her life,staying with her will only endanger her more”
“Why are you so sure of that?”I asked
“Because of your father, do you think he will accept a maid daughter for his only son, you should have thought of that before making Andrea fall for you?”he said and i let go of him
“See, you should leave her now, once your father return he will do his best to get you away from her,so before that happens, end what ever relationsh¡p you have with Andrea, save her from a lot of pain, do as I say okay”he said turning to leave but I stopped him with my words
“Thanks for the update”
“What do you mean by that?”
“I never thought that my father would be a problem and now that you have given me a heads up I will just have to prepared for his return,now I know I have a bigger fight coming my way,thanks man”I said and left him standing there starring after me.

ANDREA POV
I lingered by the door and when I didn’t hear a thing,I walked into the house and I was surprise to see Beatrice eating dinner with Brenda
“Beatrice”i called and she looked up l,at one moment her expression is one of happiness and then the next she is angry .
“I will head home now”she said as she stood up but quickly I went to her to stop her
“Let’s talk Beatrice”I said as I blocked her path
“I don’t want to talk to you Andrea”she said looking away
“Common Beatrice just talk, I miss the three of us being together”Brenda said
“I have nothing to talk about with a liar ”
“But I have to talk to you Beatrice and you will listen”I said and with out waiting for her to say a thing, I pulled her arm and took her to Brenda room
“I don’t want to talk to you”she said as she turned to leave and I hugged her.
“Am sorry, I didn’t mean to fool you,I just didn’t know how to tell you and I was scared, scared that if you had found out, you all will stop being my friend and then you will blame me”I said and angrily she pulled away
“Do you think that when I find out that you are poor I won’t be friends with you, we have been together, I took you as my best friend,I told you every thing about me and expected the same of you but it turns out that you lied, it shows that you did not trust me or Brenda”she said crying
“It’s not that Beatrice, Back in my former school I was treated badly and it was because I was poor and so……”
“You thought that all rich kids are the same and that if we found out we will also bully you?”she asked
“Yes, am sorry for thinking that way, now I know and If you will let me,I want to make it up to you”I said
“You can’t make it up to me,you broke my heart when you lied ,I don’t think I want to be friends with you”she said hesitating a bit
Quickly I hugged her again “I won’t ever lie to you guys,I promise to tell you the truth always, don’t end our friend sh¡p, you and Brenda mean so much to me”the last thing I said got to her and she smiled a bit
“Really! Do we mean so much to you?”she asked again
“Yes “I replied
“That’s good then, no more lies okay, share your burden with us and we will also share ours with you “she said giving me another hug
“Well I do have a burden to share with you guys and that is about school tomorrow”I said
Some one knocked on the door and Brenda poked her head in
“Are we back to being one now?”she asked and we both nodded.

“So you are saying that you are scared to go to school tomorrow?” Beatrice asked as we all sat on the chair in Brenda room
“Yes I am,you guys accepted me even knowing that am not part of your class but the others might not think the same way?”I said softly
“Don’t worry about them Andrea,all that matters is that you come to school, if some of them look down on you don’t pay them any attention and if they should try to bully you, then we will be there to stop them okay!”Beatrice said
“And she also has two knights who will be protecting her”Brenda said
“What knight?”Beatrice asked
“Max and Jack”I said softly
“It turns out that she is dating max and recently Jack confess his feelings to her”Brenda filled Beatrice in
“Oh no! Two hunks are over you, though you have been taken by one”Beatrice said dreamily
“I know right! “I said I thought of Jack and his insistence on making me see how much he likes me
“Jack is really some thing, he has always been acting cool around you and none of its ever figured out that he is just doing it because he likes you, I would have like you to pick my cousin but am fine with Max and as long as you are happy with one of them,then am happy”Beatrice said and that earned her a smile from me
“So no more talking about school or guys, lets just focus on ourselves, tonight we will be having a girls night!!!!”Brenda yelled as she went to t-rn on the speaker.
THE NEXT DAY
I stood in front of the school gate starring at the school it self
Through out the night,I kept wondering about today, how would I do i feel if am still rejected or worse will they bully me?
I have to over come my fears, so right now, I will go into class and no matter what the other kids say or do, I will face it.
Having decided on that, I walked into school,some of them were starring at me,while some whispered and gave me a hateful look.
I got to class and the other students who were busy doing their stuff stopped when they saw me arrive.
“Hello”I greeted and they kept starring at me in Silence
“She just greeted you guys, would it be bad to answer” Beatrice said as she came to stand beside me
“We are just surprised to see her here?” A student said
“And why would you be surprised? Were you expecting her to leave”Brenda asked
“Let’s not fight guys! All I want to do is to apologise to you all”I said softly
“Apologise? Your apology won’t erase the truth that you lied”a student said
“Yes, it won’t erase the truth, Brenda and beatrice might have accepted you but we won’t” another added
“Just go away, we don’t want to mingle with a poor thing like you”another said
I knew this would happen and that is why have come prepared for it.
“I lied and I regret it, it won’t also erase the truth that am poor, that I live at my mom work place and that am also the daughter of a maid,I can’t change that but I can change what you think of me”I said
“And that is why am here today not cowering away like a coward, I am here to get your forgiveness and also to ask you to take me back”I said softly and they all stared at me,some were willing to do as I say while some were still angry.
“Common guys, accept her apology”Geoffrey said as he got up
“I don’t mind being friends with her, we shouldn’t be biased, even if we are rich, we shouldn’t be cruel to those who doesn’t have and if she had lied she has her reason”the class rep said to every one.
“You are right”
“We shouldn’t be biased”
“She has been a friend to us and she will keep on being a friend”
They all began to talk at the same time, I felt so happy knowing that they have finally accept me, while every one came to gather around me,I saw Rose leaving the class in anger.
I excused myself and went after her, I kept on calling her but she wouldn’t answer.
When we got to the school hall she finally stopped and turned to stare at me
“Why are you following me?”she asked
“I just want to talk to you?”I said softly
“About what? Are you here to laugh at me, that my plan was all in vain?”she yelled at me and the students who were passing by stared at us
“No,I didn’t come to laugh at you but instead I came to thank you”
“What?”
“If you hadn’t told every one my secret,I will still be living a lie,you have no idea how I relieved I feel right now, if you hadn’t done it I will still be pretending and I will still be living a lie, thanks Rose”I said
“Stop being a bitch and go away!”she said again
“Not until I make it clear to you , I love Max and we are dating each other, I tried to stay away Because you were in the chosen for him but not any more Rose”
“Why are you telling me this”
“To let you know that I won’t be giving him up to you or to any one else”I added and the students who had stopped to listen to our conversation gasped out loud.
“You really get on my nerves!”she said wanting to hit me but some one caught her hand.
“And you get on mine too”Max said as he dropped her hand and pushed her away
“I hate you both”she said and ran off.
“Are you okay?”he asked
“I did it Max, I did it”I said and he gave me a smile and hugged me in front of the on Lookers.
