MAX POV
I stood by the garden thinking about Andrea, wondering how she might be doing.
She was really sad when I saw her last night. Who wouldn’t be sad, after being through that ,I would have gone crazy, I thought as I breathe in some fresh air.
I decided not to go school to have a bit of time to myself and also to save Andrea from seeing me.
Just then Jack ran into the mansion and I was the first person he saw and as soon as he saw me, he ran towards me.
I was surprised to see him here and he was still dressed in his uniform .
“Where is Andrea?”He asked
“Why do you ask! What’s wrong?”I asked
“Just tell me where she is! I have to warn her ahead of time”he said looking around the house
“Warn her about what?talk to me Jack”I said as I also began to get worried
“Rose…… Rose knows about her,she now know Andrea secret and judging from what she said,I think she is going to expose so I have to tell Andrea to warn Andrea ahead of time, have been trying to call her but she wouldn’t pick”He said
I took out my phone about to call Andrea when Geoffrey call came in
“Geoffrey, can you call me later, am in a bit of………….”
“Where the hell are you? It’s getting worse as each moment pass, Come to school and get Andrea out of here”He said interrupting me
“What happen?”
“Haven’t you seen the school page yet, Andrea is the talk of the town, every one are saying things about her, you have to come get her out “He said and quickly I switched off the phone
“Did you bring your car?”I Asked Jack and he nodded
“Let’s go, Andrea is at school”I said and quickly we both ran out side heading for Jack car.
While he drove, I took out my phone and went to the school page.
“ANDREA FROM CLASS TWO IS A FRAUD WHO HAVE BEEN FOOLING EVERY ONE, SHE IS NOTHING BUT THE DAUGHTER OF A MAID, YOU CAN CONFIRM MY STORY BY GOING TO MAX HOUSE, HER MOTHER AND HER BOTH LIVE AT THE MAID QUATERS”
The heading was the first thing I saw and I scrolled down to read the student
comments.
“She is such a liar”
“I can’t believe we have been having a maid daughter as a friend ”
“She should be kicked out of Jupiter high ”
“She is nothing but a maid but she flirted with Max,I wonder if he knows about her real identity”
“Her friends must be devastated, they wouldn’t be happy to know that they have been friends with a maid daughter”
“A new student to bully out of the school”
The last Comment got to me, Andrea is scared of being bullied, that was why she kept it a secret and now that is out……..I should have been there for her, I should have gone to school today.
“Am sorry!”Jack said suddenly
“Sorry about what?”I asked
“I made the mistake, She acted like she knew but I didn’t know that she was trying to manipulate me, if I had known I wouldn’t have told her, I warned her not to say any thing but she…..she did”Jack said as he hit the wheel angrily
It took me awhile to get who he was talking about and i when I did, I didn’t say any thing.
I was just too worried about Andrea to think about any thing.
As soon as his car stopped in front of the school, I got out and ran straight to class.
Every one were all talking but when they saw me, they stopped talking.
“Where is Andrea?”I asked Beatrice and Brenda who were looking at me sadly.
“Don’t ask us”Brenda said
“What?”
“She is a liar, she fooled us and we couldn’t care about her “Another student answered some distance away
“Have you seen the school page Max ,were you also fooled by that liar? She was acting all rich when she is a nobody”A guy said and angrily I went to him pulling him by his collar
“Call her a nobody again and I promise you that you will spending some few days at the hospital”I said looking so angry.
“Stop it Max”Geoffrey said as he pulled me away from him.
“Where is Andrea? Do you know where she went to?”I asked Geoffrey
“These judgmental kids drove her away with their words and she ran off “He answered
I began to head out only to see Rose by the door.
“Are you still going to her?”She asked looking smug
“What do you think, am going to find her and I will get back with her”I said
“What?”
“I made a mistake of leaving her for some one like you, I thought that by leaving her I was protecting her but it turns out that I was only putting her in more danger,thanks for opening my eyes”I said as I moved past her but she stopped me by pulling my arm
“Dont you know that if you keep on going to her, she will be in more danger, I will keep doing things that will hurt her.”She asked and i pulled away from her and that made her stagger a bit
“Then do, the more you do it, the more I will be there to protect her, you know when I decided to get engaged to you, I thought that you have finally changed but I was wrong, it turns out that you are nothing but the bitch you have always been, I regret choosing you over her”I said and with that said I ran off,insearch of Andrea.
JACK POV
After parking my car, I began to head to school only to see Max running out with out Andrea.
“Where is she?”I asked
“She ran off, am going to look for her”He said as he ran past me.
I ran back to class in search of the witch that caused all this.
I saw her sitted by her desk doing what ever,
“Jack is here, have you heard the news?”The class rep asked as I walked into the class
“Andrea is nothing but a liar, she is the daughter of maid, yet she lied to us”a student said
“She really fooled every one”
“I can’t believe that I have been friends with the daughter of a maid”Another added
“Me too,the mere sight of our maid daughter irritates me but I have been friends with a maid daughter that even makes me more sick”a girl said and that got me mad.
I hit the table angrily and they all shut up starring at me.
“Really? Is that how you all are?”I asked and they look puzzled
“You become friends with some one just because she is rich and then discriminate her when you find out that she is poor”
“She is a friend to you when she rich but nothing when she is poor, I know that poor students are discriminated every where and some of them are even bullied but I never thought that such will happen in this school, that was one of the reasons I transferred here because I believed that you all are fair when it comes to the poor students but you all are the same” I said
“Should we just accept her because we are friends, we can’t accept a fake and a liar”a student yelled at me
“Did any one of you even bothered to ask her why she lied, did you?”I asked and no one answered
“That girl has gone through a lot and it’s all thanks to rich kids like us who bully poor people like her, she had to go through a lot at her former school and If she lied, it was to stop this sort of situation ”
“But she could have said the truth”Some one said
“If she had said the truth, would you have accept her, would you have been friends with her, won’t you have treated her like a total out cast” I asked and once again there was no answer.
Turning towards Brenda and Beatrice,I went to them.
“I can understand these fools and their behaviours but yours is some thing I can’t fathom”I said starring at the two of them
“I don’t want to talk Jack” Beatrice said and I hit her table in anger.
“She was your friend, she was closer to you but yet you turned your back against her,can you still consider your selves as her friend after doing this?”I asked and the two of them looked away feeling guilty.
“I thought high of Jupiter high and also of the students in it but you all just disappoint me”J said.
I noticed Rose busy with her work, she was pretending not to listen and angrily I went to her and pulled her by the arm
“Let go of me Jack! Are you crazy ?”She yelled at me
“Don’t make me do some thing I might regret just come with me “I said as I pulled her out.

JACK POV
“Let go you! You are hurting me”She said as we got to the hall and immediately I let her go.
“What is your problem?”she asked
“You really want to know what my problem is? That is you Rose”I said angrily.
“Well you aren’t my problem and I don’t give a darn If am your problem” she said
“You really are a bitch”I said and she gave me an evil smirk
“Why? Is it because of what I did to your beloved Andrea, sorry about that but I just cant stand watching the other students being lied to”she said
“Well you did a great job every one now knows that Andrea is a liar and a fake”
“At least they know the truth”she said
“And so tell me, by telling them the truth has It gained you any thing, I will bet that you did it to have Max by your side but is he with you now?”I asked and that got her annoyed.
“And what about you? Aren’t you suppose to be out there looking for her, you should be grate ful that i did this, i at least came out with the truth, Max knows about my feelings but what about you? Have you told Andrea yet that you like her, does she know about your feelings, I doubt that and I doubt if I will keep on staying in the shadows like you.”she finished hotly
“Me being in the shadows still got me Andrea respect, what about you? Can you say the same for your self?”I asked
“You might think that you won this time but you should brace your self for more cause i believe that Andrea will come back being much more stronger ”
“Your act today only cost you nothing because the guy you did it for is out there looking for the girl he loves, you will only regret what you did today” I finished
“I won’t regret it”she said with tears in her eyes.
“In the past I thought highly of you but now, I only see you as a piece of thrash”I finished and walked off knowing that what I said will hurt her a lot.
MAX POV
I ran around looking for Andrea but she was no where to be found.
I could not find her at the cafe where we study or at home or any of the places we have visited together.
It frustrates me just not knowing where she might be.
I should have been there with her, I should have gone to school today, I should never have broke up with her!
Where could she be? I thought as I began to head back home.
It was getting dark and she is not back yet,I brought out my phone and dialled her number and still there was no answer.
I got back home and heading in when I saw her mother heading towards me.
Quickly I ran to her “Good evening ma’am, please is Andrea back?” I asked and she nodded gently
“Can I see her?”I asked
“Am afraid that you have missed her, she just left again”She Answered
“Where did she go to? Please tell me ?”I urged her
“I don’t know, she just said that she was going to a friend house to spend some couple of days, she looked sad and her eyes were swollen from tears, can you please tell me what happen?”She asked looking worried
“I didnt want to ask her cause I felt that she would be more sad, so I kept shut But you might know some thing right please tell me what you know?”She asked
“Every thing is okay, you don’t have to worry”I lied hoping she buy it
“I will try to give her a call again”I said as I excused myself .
If Andrea hadn’t said a thing to her it was to keep her from being worried and I must also do the same thing too, she got out of the hospital, we won’t want some thing bad to happen to her.
Taking out my phone again, I called Andrea only for it to go to voice mail again.
“Andrea this is the tenth voice mail am sending to you, at least answer my call or text me back, am worried about you and I…..I……just keep on remembering that I love you okay,I will be waiting for your call”I said and caught the call
I hope she calls and reply me back ………
ANDREA POV
“I……I…..just keep on remembering that I love you okay, I will be waiting for your call”
I sighed as I received a tenth voice call from Max ,how can I reply or pick his calls when am a total mess my self.
I can’t believe that the secret have been trying hærd to keep is finally out in the open.
No one except Max knows my secret and would he have told Rose, After all they are both engaged
“Just keep on remembering that I love you”
Max loves me , he wouldn’t have told Rose a thing, why am I even doubting him? I thought as I took the bus.
How can today have gone wrong, I was still thinking about Max engagement to Rose yet another problem had to arise again.
I knew this day will come but I never thought that it will happen soon.
I can still remember the hateful comment I heard from the students today .
Slowly my mind drifted off to when I was still at school.
“Tell us Andrea? Are you really the daugher of a maid?”Beatrice asked again and feeling nervous, I began to shake all over .
I never thought that today will be the day every one know the truth.
What am I going to do? I thought as I stood frozen by the door .
it’s true, she is a daughter of maid”
“And she had lied to us,I can’t believe this?” Some students said
“I didn’t mean to”I muttered softly
“But you did, to think that have been friends with the daughter of a maid irritates me
“A poor thing acting like a rich thing”
“Why don’t you leave, you belong here in the first place”
“Get out you liar”Another student came pushing me by the shoulder
I stared at Beatrice and Brenda and they both look sad.
Beatrice was already crying, while Brenda was holding onto her.
“Leave you stupid maid”Another said as they pushed me again
“Let me explain”I said
“We don’t want your explanation, All we want you to do now is to leave,we can’t have the daughter of a maid here, get out”she began and then the other students began to say it too, they kept on telling me to get out.
Feeling that I had nothing to say that will convince, I ran out of the class and out of Jupiter high too.
The bus jolting me out of my reverie and quickly I got down heading to my place of destination.
I decided to leave the mansion for some days, I have to think about every thing with out being worried about my mom or with out Max calling or looking for me.
His mom is right when she says that some one else will be good for her, I can never match up to the looks and riches of Rose, I always wondered why Some one like max fell for me and am also glad for the time we spent together but I know that if this keeps on going,I will only ruin Max and I don’t want that .
He should be with some one of his Caliber, am not good for him and I don’t think I will ever be a good enough.
So it’s best that we just keep our distance fir now, in time am sure that he will under stand and though it hurts, he will focus on his engagement to Rose and he will forget about me completely.
