PART 18

I walked out of the company and met Timi at the front, waiting next to the car.

I walked up to him with a smile on my face and stood right in front of him.

“What happens to my car?” I asked and he smiled.

“That is the least of my worry. One of the workers would come and pick it up, and would drive it home for you.” He responded and I bobbed.

“So, where are we going?” I asked and he opened the door and gave a slight bow.

“Hop in my lady.” He said and I busted into laughter.

“You don’t have to be all formal,” I said giggling and hopping into the car. He shut the door and walked to the driver’s seat.

He sat, and ignited the engine. He drove out of the compound with the help of the security man and then we hit the road.

I pulled out my phone to check the time and I saw it was past six.

“What is the time?” Timi asked.

“It is past six. Why?” I asked and he looked at me.

“I need to make sure I take you home before it’s too late. I need to get you home safe and early, I don’t want issues from your husband.” He said giggling and I smiled.

“Victor isn’t the violent type, if I explain to him he would surely listen. Moreover, he said he would be coming home late today. He has a lot of work back at the office.” I explained and I could see the joy in his eyes.

“Perfect! Then we have more time to ourselves.” He said making a turn into an unfamiliar road.

“I haven’t passed this road before. I heard it’s always scary at night.” I said and he nodded looking at me.

“You don’t have to worry, you wouldn’t be passing here alone this night. And, we could take another route instead.” He responded and I nodded.

“That is better. Taking another route sounds like the perfect idea.” I added and he chuckled.

He stopped the car in front of a garden and highlighted, he walked to where I was and opened the car.

“Thanks,” I replied and walked out of the car.

“So where are we?” I asked looking around. There was no restaurant, no houses, nothing.

“Follow me.” He said and my eyes w¡dened in fear.

“This is scary,” I replied and he laughed.

“You need to trust me.” He said leading the way and I followed behind him looking around carefully.

After walking through the narrow path, we burst out into an opening and I was shocked by what I saw.

“Oh my God,” I said out of awe. It was so beautiful, I was so touched by what I saw.

He had prepared dinner already. There were flowers around the table and he had wines on the table.

“I hope this isn’t too small.” He said walking to the beautiful tent he had created.

“Small? Timi this isn’t small. It’s so nice of you, I wasn’t expecting something like this.” I replied approaching him.

“I thought I should give you a special treat saying thank you on the behalf of the company.” He said pulling the chair backward so I can sit.

I sat looking at the table, he had stuff packed on it and I couldn’t wait to see what was in them.

He walked to the other chair and sat. He clapped and I saw two people approaching. A man and a woman wore the same outfit and came with trays in their hands.

I smiled widely watching them serve the dishes.

“You didn’t have to do this Timi. This is way too much.” I stated and he shook his head.

“I wish I could do more than this Sharon. This is just an appreciation, nothing more.” He stated and I nodded.

“Let’s eat.” He said picking up his cutleries and I did the same too. I was served chicken and sauce, and some Salad and many more.

I dug my fork and knife into the chicken, and I felt Timi’s eyes on me.

“What?” I asked shyly.

“You handle those very well. What was I expecting? Something lesser? No.” He complimented and I felt my cheeks flush.

“Thanks,” I responded.

He stood up, opened one of the wine bottles, and poured them into the cup. He placed one in front of me and took one for himself.

“Thank you,” I said pulling the chicken off the fork with my teeth, and I began to chew.

“This is so delicious,” I said shutting my eyes as I let myself enjoy its exquisite taste.

“I trust the expertise of my workers.” He replied with pride and I rolled my eyes.

“Yeah right,” I answered and we went silent again.

“So, when did you come up with this plan?” I inquired.

“Is the information necessary?” He asked and I shook my head.

“It is not but I just want to know, I must say you did an amazing job. Every woman would want to be with a man that is so full of surprises.” I stated.

“Except you.” He answered with a smile on his face and I sighed.

“I’m married Timi and my husband is a very nice man,” I responded and he nodded.

“I know that, was just trying to prove that statement wrong. Not all women want to be with me, it’s very obvious, that is why I’m still single.” He uttered.

“You never had a girlfriend?” I asked and he shook his head.

“I had one, I have dated just one girl my entire life.” He said and my eyes w¡dened.

“Wow, how is that possible? That is rare.” I stated and he nodded.

“That is me, I don’t fall in love with a person easily. It takes time.” He explained and I smiled faintly and kept eating.

“But your case is different, you are all in my head, it was just one meeting and I can’t ever forget you.” He said laughing and I stared at him as he laughed.

“What happened with your Ex? You must have loved her. Why did you leave?” I asked and he furrowed his brows

“I didn’t leave, I would never hurt someone I love by breaking her heart. She left, her parents introduced her to some other guy and she married him. Forgot about me.” He narrated and my mouth dropped open.

“Why would she do that?” I asked and he shrugged his shoulders.

“We were perfect together. When she told me about the introduction to another guy I felt so bad, she told me her parents would never allow her to get married to a guy that paints. I asked her to elope with me, we agreed to elope, and what I heard the next time was that she was married to the new guy.” He further narrated and I could see the pain in his eyes.

“I am so sorry Timi, I didn’t mean to bring back those sad memories,” I said reaching for his hand and car-ssing it slowly.

He held my hand and moved it to his mouth, he planted a k-ss on the back of my hand and raised his head to look at me.

He stood up and moved to where I was sitting and squatted in front of me.

“Can I k-ss you?” He asked looking right into my eyes and my mouth dropped open.

PART 19

I gazed at him in confusion, I wanted to k-ss him badly but then I couldn’t. I would betray Victor the second time and I couldn’t let that happen.

I knew we couldn’t just k-ss and stop, more stuff would step in. I lowered my head and planted a k-ss on his forehead. He shut his eyes as I k-ssed him.

I moved backward and he opened his eyes to look at me. He stood up and walked back to his seat smiling faintly.

“Thank you for that.” He said trying not to look so pained.

“I am sorry Victor, we both know we can’t just k-ss and forget about it. It has happened before and I can’t let it happen again.” I explained and he nodded.

“I know Sharon, you owe me no explanation. I promised not to disturb you and I am sorry for breaking that promise.” He stated and I shook my head.

“It’s fine Timi, I know this is hurting but please forget about me okay? I don’t want to see you hurting because of me. There are very beautiful single girls out there, they are waiting for you to reach out to them.” I told and he laughed.

“I wish it was so easy to forget about you. But I would try, I don’t want and mean any harm to you and your husband.” He responded and I gulped looking away.

I dropped my cutlery and lifted my head.

“It’s getting late Timi. I need to be on my way back home.” I said and he stood up. He picked up a box on the table and opened it.

He pulled out a very beautiful and radiant necklace. My eyes w¡dened as I was amazed at its beauty.

“Oh my God,” I mumbled with watery eyes.

“This is for you, permit me to put it on you.” He said walking to my back and I stood up.

“I can’t accept this Timi. This is too much, I can’t.” I said looking at him and he sighed sadly.

“Just take this as a gift of appreciation from the company okay? You need to accept this Sharon. It’s either you accept this or you accept my love.” He said and I shut my eyes.

There was nothing to think about, I couldn’t accept his love. I nodded and sat down on the chair. I packed my hair with my hand and moved it aside, I held it up.

He placed the necklace around my neck and hooked it from behind. He ran his finger on my back and I shivered.

Soon, I felt his breath on my back and my eyes shut automatically. His l-ips met with my neck and he k-ssed it from behind.

I opened my eyes, and then he moved away and stood up. I could feel my cheeks flush as he sat in front of me again.

I bowed my head to avoid his face.

“When you are ready to leave let me know. I would take you back at once.” He said moving his food aside.

“You barely touched your food. Why?” I asked and he smiled shaking his head.

“Your face is enough to fill me, I am too happy to eat. If you are filled, I am very fine.” He said and I smiled standing up.

“I am done, can we leave now?” I asked and he stood up too.

“Anything you want my Lady. I am here to make you as comfortable as possible.” He said and I laughed.

“Can you stop? I am done hearing those lines from you.” I said and he chuckled.

“Okay, My Lady. This way please.” He said giving a bow and pointing to the path that we walked when coming.

I walked following his direction and he followed behind me. I could feel his eyes on my body but I didn’t stop walking.

I kept swaying my h¡ps as I walked, that is my normal way of walking.

“I love the way you sway your h¡ps.” I heard him say from behind and I missed my step. He quickly grabbed me looking into my eyes.

“Are you okay?” He asked me as I laid in his hand and I nodded standing up properly.

“Yes, I am. Thanks.” I said walking swiftly away to his car which I sighted in front of us. It was meters away.

I got to his car, opened the door, and sat in it before he acted like a gentleman again and open the door for me.

He got to the car too and hopped into the car.

“You didn’t have to run here.” He said and I smiled faintly.

He ignited the engine and we headed to my house.

AT 11 PM

I dozed off on the couch while waiting for Victor. I had kept my necklace in my drawer, Victor doesn’t open that drawer, it was my drawer.

I woke up to see it was 11 pm already. Victor has never come home that late. Anytime he told me he would come back late, the latest time is 10 pm.

I picked up my phone and dialed his number. Instantly, I heard a knock on the door.

“Victor!” I called out of excitement and walked to the door to open up. He walked in looking very tired.

“Hi, baby.” He greeted slamming into the couch.

“Hi, what happened? You don’t look too good.” I said sitting next to him after locking the door.

“Today was too hectic, I had to make sure I finished all I had to do because I don’t want stress tomorrow.” He explained and I car-ssed his cheeks.

“You should rest then. It’s such a pity, I wanted us to have a very nice time.” I said losing my robe and in no time, I was unclad in front of him.

“I am so sorry baby, I need to rest. Can we do this another time?” He asked standing up and I nodded covering up my body.

He carried his briefcase and walked to the room leaving me in the living room. I was so ho-ny and Victor wasn’t in the mood.

I needed to satisfy myself. I walked to the room and I saw Victor laying on the bed. It was like he was fast asleep.

I walked to the bathroom carefully, I didn’t want to wake him up. I opened my drawer and pulled out my vibrator.

I shut the drawer and headed out to the living room. I sat on the couch and removed my night robe.

As I shut my eyes, all I could see was Timi sanding right in front of me. He smiled at me and collected the vibrator from me.
