Love stood up at once and walked outside the room searching for Jenny , she noticed that everywhere was bright. She walked back in,side the room and checked the wall clock, it was 6:30 am
It’s morning already, she thought she woke up earlier than that.
Jenny walked out of the bathroom with a towel tied around her unclad body
“Oh! You have bathed already” Love said in surprise
“Yeah, my bodyguard slept off” Jenny teased Love
Love knew that being awake at night isn’t her gift
She giggled and went to her room to dress
She dressed and walked to the sitting room, everyone was dressed already waiting in the sitting room
Tessa joined them in the sitting room
“Hey children, take care of yourself in school” Tessa said and they nodded except Robert and John who were staring like a dummy
“Who is this little girl’s children, whom did she think she is?” love thought
Love wish the Tessa can just know that she is million of years older than her
She kept mute and frowned her face while others smiled .
They walked to the house car park , in,side a Cadillac car and Jenny drove them to school
Jenny drove to the school garage and everyone stepped down
“Guys, what are we gonna do to Robert and John? I’m sure their parents must be concerned about them” Jenny said
“Maybe” Love said and walked away
Joy smiled gently and walked away with John and Robert
Peace and Jenny followed behind
The bell for the assembly rang
Everyone came out of their class and went to the assembly hall
Series of regular programmes were done on the assembly , then the principal mount the podium
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome this morning, we have a new initiative from the ministry of , the initiative is to create clubs , we gonna assign you all to the clubs you all fit in respectively
The first club is called Junior Engineering technician and Scientist whose acronym is called JETS club
The second club is press club, you gonna be taught how to read juts like a professional newscaster
You can check the central billboard by break time, you gonna see which club you have being assigned to.
I do not really have much to say today, kindly march into your class” The principal said and left the podium
The students dispersed orderly to their various classes
Everyone’s name was written in twos at the school’s central billboard by break
Peace and Sarah were assigned to JETS club, they are gonna have to work together in the club
Scarp and Joy was assigned to Press club, they are gonna be working together in the club
Love and Dora were fixed to the debate club, debate club was created to contain those that didn’t fit in either JET club or Press Club
The JET club are to meet after the closing hour of the school at the computer room for meeting
The Press Club are to meet after the closing hour at the school Cinema for meeting
The debate club are to meet after the closing hour at the ‘common relaxing center’
Each of these clubs borrowed venue for their meeting
‘The bell for closing rang ‘
Everyone dispersed to their various clubs venue , they are to sit in twos , that is , the partners assigned are to sit together
Scarp and Joy sat together at the cinema , just like other students did
“Hi Joy” Scarp greeted
Joy smiled as he turned at Scarp, he didn’t reply , he simply focused his attention to those arranging the microphones , chairs , tables and speakers in front
The programme is yet to start
“Isn’t that rude, we meeting for the first time,I greeted you and you are not replying, don’t forget we will be partners for a long period of time in this club” scarp said
Don’t forget what Scarp mission is, her mission is to sed-ce Joy to love her , cus falling in love is the weaknesses of Joy.
Joy is male not a female.
Joy smirked, he didn’t turn his head, he is trying every possible means to avoid ladies since falling in Love is his weak point
Scarp obstinately place her head on Joy’s shoulder , Joy turned his head and saw Scarp’s head on his shoulder, the beautiful aroma from Scarp’s hair filled his nostrils
Joy pushed his shoulder up in a bit to signal to her to take her head off him
Scarp rose her head and looked pathetically at Joy
“All I want from you is to at least say something, just say something please” Scarp pleaded
Joy giggled and obstinately refused to talk
Scarp intentionally placed her hand on Joy’s hair, she rubbed it and licked her l-ips
“You have a soft hair” Scarp said to Joy
Joy wondered how clumsy and stubborn a girl like scarp could be, he had never seen her before and now she is behaving in a way that irritates him.
He knew he has to talk
“Young girl, kindly respect yourself , I do not know who you are or what you are up to, we ain’t friends , what gives you so much courage to rub my hair” Joy said sternly
“Cus I want you to talk, I’m happy you talk, all I did was greet you and you snubbed , what the h*ll is the meaning of that, you are snubbing a beautiful lady like me” Scarp said like a kid
“A beautiful lady” Joy muttered and shook his head slightly
He wondered what is so beautiful about Scarp
“Anyways, my name is Scarp and you?” Scarp asked Joy
Joy knew if he didn’t answer Scarp, the girl might just do something crazy again
“I’m Joy, but please let me be, the programme will soon start” Joy said
“You really look handsome Joy, I won’t mind you giving me a peck” Scarp said and smiled recklessly
Joy turned at her and wondered why they would have paired him with a clumsy girl like Scarp
“You know what? I ain’t into all this shit , just respect yourself and stay modest or else I’m gonna do something you won’t like” Joy threatened
“Aw! Joy wants to hurt me” Scarp said sarcastically and abruptly pecked Joy on his check
Joy felt so irritated
Joy desires that she will be dumb, Joy placed his hand on Scarp’s mouth and she became dumb , she couldn’t speak again
The programme commenced, Joy was listening but Scarp was busy battling with herself wondering why she couldn’t speak
“This boy must have done this to me” Scarp thought painfully hoping that Joy would make her speak again
She tapped Joy on his shoulder and rubbed her palm pleadingly
Joy smirked
“All you know how to do is to disturb, promise you would not disturb me again?” Joy requested
Scarp nodded
Joy desires that she speak, he placed his palm on her mouth and she spoke
“Oh! I can speak, you are such a wonderful boy” Scarp said and Joy ignored
“Where are you living? Tell me, how do you sleep? Do u close your eyes when you sleep? Do you raise your legs when you sleep? How many hours do you use to sleep” Scarp kept asking irrelevant questions while the programme is ongoing but Joy ignored
She got sad that Joy ignored
“Joy!” Scarp shouted in the cinema
Everyone concentrated their attention on her wondering what has gone wrong with her.
Why would a sensible person shout like that amidst the midst of a decent programme?
Scarp stood up
“Sorry please, I’m sorry, I was lost in thought” Scarp said and sat
“What the hell is wrong with you? Why did you shout my name?” Joy asked
“Cus you kept ignoring me , I like you Joy” Scarp said
“Oh really, i will be left with no choice but to make you dumb again” Joy said
“You can’t, I know you like me too, just confess… huh? Who is your girlfriend by the ways?… Have you ever k-ssed before? … Have you ever slept in the same room with your girlfriend … Did your mum like your girlfriend… Should I be your girlfriend… Stop ignoring me… You know I like you… I know you like me … Should I sing for you… Should I…” Scarp said but before she could finish asking Joy her endless irrelevant questions, Joy wishes that she is dumb and placed his palm on her mouth.
Joy walked out so she won’t plead to that he should make her speak again
