★PROLOGUE★
Romeo Cayden was just six when his parents adopted Pearl who was four years old.
They did that for two reasons, Mrs Cayden went through a lot while giving birth to Romeo that it really affected her. The Doctor placed a warning that it will be better to stay away from pregnancy for few years because it’s going to be too dangerous for her.
And the second reason is because Mrs Cayden wanted a girl badly,but since she’s not strong enough to get pregnant,they decided to adopt a cute little girl who they named Pearl.
Romeo loved her the moment he set his eyes on her which made his parents happy that they will make such a cute and lovely siblings.
As they grow up,their parents see the type of protective brother little Romeo is going to become.
He will rather get hurt than seeing his little sister in pain,he love her so much,even more than himself.
The feelings is just mutual,Pearl respects and love her brother alot,though she’s not aware that she was adopted because she was very young,she will even cry whenever she sees her lovely brother in pain.
This went on years after years, and still the love for each other never dies,rather it’s growing.
If anyone dare try to hurt Pearl in school,then the person is going to hear from Romeo,he doesn’t joke with his sister at all.
But then,the story began as they became teenagers who can fend for themselves.
Pearl grow up into a very beautiful girl,looking at her once,you will really want to turn back and see her again. She’s got the face and s–xy body every guy wants but nobody would dare talk to her,they wouldn’t want to mess with Romeo her brother.

“Morning Mom,,,” Pearl greeted with her usual smiles as she sat down to eat breakfast
“Morning baby” Mrs Cayden,her mom replied
“Where’s dad? Left for office?” Pearl asked pouring for herself a cup of milk from the jar specially for her,she love milk alot.
“Yeah,,” Mrs Cayden replied
Pearl almost sipped her milk but she suddenly stopped
“Where’s brother?” She asked
“Oh,,guess he’s in his room” Mrs Cayden answered
Pearl stood up
“Eat up Pearl,he will meet you right here” Mrs Cayden said
“I can’t eat without him” Pearl pouted before running off
Mrs Cayden shook her head, watching her run

Pearl knocked on Romeo’s door gently and stopped,,waiting for his response
“Who?”
“Guess”
“Come in Candy” Romeo said
Pearl smiled and opened the door,,he was still styling his hair while facing the mirror
Pearl fold her arms on her chest and moved closer to him,,she shook her head
“Actually,,Mon Chérie (My Sweetheart,,in French) You should have more than enough girlfriends already.” Pearl said staring at his Mirror Image
“Why?” Romeo asked
“You always spend time trying to look good,,so I wonder who you’re trying to impress. Those girls in our school always act like illetrates,,s¢ræming out your name everyday,,,because you’re handsome” Pearl scoffed
“So you can’t s¢ræm out your crush’s name?” Romeo teased
“I can’t do that,” she roll her eyes
“That’s impressive,,but sorry I need to look good. I can’t disappoint the number of girls crushing on my cute face and hot look” Romeo said
“Well your cute face is a waste,,you don’t even look at a girl twice,like,,who does that?” Pearl shook her head and stood in akimbo
“Why will I look at someone twice when I’ve seen her the first time? That’s crazy”
“Anyhow,,I have letters and gifts in my bag for you again” Pearl roll her eyes
“Tell those kids in your class to give up,,” Romeo muttered
“You always say this,,,brother wait” Pearl moved to his front and pulled his face down to her level with her hands around his neck.
“Are you afraid of girls?” She asked gently
Romeo stared at her l-ips and immediately moved his eyes to her face
“Say something” Pearl said
“How can I say something when you’re almost choking me?” Romeo asked and she let go of his neck with a grin
“So,are you scared?” She asked
“I’m not,,,” Romeo replied
“Or,are you really allergic to other girls aside me?”
“No I’m not” Romeo said,walking toward the door
“Are you going to leave me here? I came here specially because I don’t want to eat alone” Pearl pouted
“You’re the sweetest sister in the whole world” Romeo said and winked at her
“How about you pay me back with a piggy ride?” Pearl grinned cutely
Romeo bent in front of her and she got on his back with a wide smile playing on her l-ips
“I love you” she said and k-sed his neck
Romeo went downstairs with her on his back
“Morning mom” Romeo said as they returned to dinning room
He dropped Pearl and she sat down
“Morning kid” Mrs Cayden replied
“Mom,,,I’m not a kid anymore. I’m eighteen,you can call Pearl that instead” Romeo roll his eyes
“Why would she call me a kid?” Pearl Frowned
“Cause you’re a Kid” Romeo replied
“That’s funny,,,I’m sixteen,,not fifteen and besides you are not even eighteen yet,you’re still seventeen,you still have months to go before you clock eighteen so stop the pride” Pearl scoffed
“So,who said being a kid stops at fifteen?” Mrs Cayden asked
“I know,,,sixteen is no longer a kid but a young adult.” Pearl smiled
“Young adult indeed,you’re still a kid,take it or leave it” Romeo scoffed

Romeo turned to Pearl who seems to be busy with her phone on their way to school
“Did something happened?” He asked
“Last week test result is out,I’m checking it immediately we get to school” She muttered
“You don’t sound really happy about it” Romeo said
“Of course,I messed up in my maths,physics,chemistry,biology……”
“In one word you failed every subject” Romeo smiled
“Don’t mock me” Pearl pouted

RAINBOW HIGH SCHOOL**
“See you later Mon Chérie” Pearl said as soon as Romeo parked in the lot,she rushed out of the car and ran out
Romeo’s eyes followed her until she was out of sight,he sighed and grabbed his jacket and phone,he took his headphones too,he never leave it out.
He finally came out of the car like the hot cake he is

Romeo ignored the blabbering from the students,he threw his jacket on his shoulder and used his headphones
One thing about him,if you’re a girl,never try to get close to him. Don’t touch him,He’s gotten a lot of nicknames by doing that. The only girl you can see him with is his sister and every girls In school wants to be her.
As Romeo walked,someone suddenly removed his headphones roughly that his ear hurts
He frowned and turned but the frown disappeared when he saw Ryan,,one of his best friends.
He’s got three friends and no doubt they are the kings of Rainbow high,wanna know the definition of both bright and handsome? It’s them,they are brilliant and at the same time handsome and crazy.
Ryan and Romeo have been the face of the school for three years straight since they got to the senior class.
Ryan has a twin brother,but they are the complete opposite of each other
“Hey,king of girls” Ryan smirked
Romeo hit his occiput with his palm
“Aww!” Ryan winced
Romeo grabbed his headphones back from him
“Have you seen the other two dummies?” Ryan asked
They both stopped when they saw a car,they exchange glances and immediately walked toward the car.
They gr–ned at the same time seeing what was happening in the car.
Soon,the door opened and a girl came out
“Hey guys” She waved at them
“Hi Cassie” Ryan smiled and waved back
Romeo ignored it
Cassie adjusted her short uniform skirt which was even extra short and walked away shaking her @ss.
Soon,Princeton came out,he only put on his school trouser,his shirt in his hand.
Ever heard of a playboy?? Princeton is an extra in that role.
He changes girlfriend every week,a new girlfriend every week
“Wait,did you just make out with Cassie in the car?” Ryan asked
“Why asking when you saw it?” Princeton grinned
“Dude,now this week is Cassie?? I can’t believe this,seriously? I thought she’s classy…f**k I’m disappointed” Ryan gr–ned
“What is classy when I am alive?” Princeton chuckled
Romeo scoffed
“Of course you’ve got no class,how can you go for that girl of all people?” Romeo asked
“Do you know someone better?” Princeton asked
“Better? You’ve dated everyone in the senior class,you might go for the juniors soon” Ryan laughed and slapped Princeton’s head before running off
“Hey!! You bastard!! I told you my head is special!!” Princeton ran after him
“F**k why are they my friends?” Romeo muttered,trying to use his headphones back
“Don’t,,it’s a sin” a hand hijacked it from him and he turned
Donovan winked at him
“Hey dude,did you see the picture of that hottie I sent to you?” Princeton asked Donovan as they all walked to class together
“Really? Let me see” Ryan immediately grabbed Donovan’s phone
“Her @ss seems fake” Ryan said
“Seriously? I will confirm when I get to smack her” Donovan grinned

“What!!” The three snapped at him at a time
Romeo roll his eyes and ignored them
A teacher was already in class when they entered
“Good morning Mr Jin” they murmured at once,walking to their different seats
The girls started murmuring
“Princeton put on that shirt right now!” Mr Jin shouted
“Do I have to?” Princeton murmured and put the shirt on without buttoning up.
“Have you all checked your test results? Some of you keep getting worse every week” Mr Jin shook his head
“Did you check yours?” Sapphire,Romeo’s seatmate and also the class president asked quietly
Romeo only roll his eyes
“You came first again,and I am second. Better watch out next week,I’m taking the first position this time” Sapphire said
“No one is competing with you,stop talking” Romeo muttered and she scoffed
“That bitch is trying really hærd to get his attention” Betsy chuckled mischievously as she stared at Romeo
“You think Sapphire is also crushing on Romeo?” Constance asked
“Who wouldn’t? I hate it when she pretend as if she doesn’t have interest in boys,smartest kid my foot” Penelope hissed out
“Don’t worry,I will keep her in her place later,how many times do I have to make uy clear that Romeo is mine?” Betsy scoffed

JUNIORS BLOCK**
As soon as Pearl entered the class,she rushed to the notice board checking her position in the last week test
“You’re in number five” A voice said behind her and she turned
Everest winked at her and she turned back to the board
“I knew it,I messed everything up” She pouted sadly staring at the students who came before her
“Everest,you came first again” She mumbled
“I’m still wondering how you left number two and went straight to five” Everest said
“I told you right? I messed up” Pearl sighed and went to her seat
“Wow,see who we got here!! Latest fifth position taker!”that’s April,Betsy’s sister
Just like her sister,she’s a little bitch
Immediately all eyes fell on them
“Don’t start” Everest cautioned
“Hey class president,you can’t tell me what to do” April snapped and hit her hands on Pearl’s desk
“Why don’t we start an interview,how do you feel now that you faded from the top three students?” April asked and Pearl scoffed
“You think I faded just because of this result?? It’s even nice that I faded to number five,but what about you?? Nowhere to be found” Pearl said and the class bursts into a loud laughter
“Actually,she’s somewhere” Bonnie,Pearl’s best friend spoke up from the board.
“Here” She pointed her finger to the last bottom student
Everyone laughed again
“Since I’ve known you April,you’ve never came up from being the last,is your brain washed or something? I feel sorry for you” Pearl sighed and shook her head
“What do you expect when her name is April? April fool” Bonnie said

The students murmured and laughed
“You two,I’m going to kill you. It’s a promise” April said and walked to her seat
Bonnie immediately sat down beside Pearl
Soon,some girls from another class entered. They walked straight to Pearl
“Hey,did senior Romeo get the gifts?”
“I hope he like my gift”
“Did he accept….”
“Girls please can we stop these already? Please” Pearl gr–ned and started bringing out their gifts

“Senior Romeo rejected my gift?” One of the girls broke into tears
“You girls are unbelievable,you really think senior Romeo will like tiny girls like you? Gosh” Bonnie scoffed
“I’m sorry,please take them” Pearl muttered
The girls took their gifts and left the class
“I’m frustrated” Pearl hit her head on the desk
“Guys!!!!” A girl rushed in and everyone looked up
“Guess who senior Princeton’s girlfriend is for the week” She said
“Who is it??”
“Senior Cassie” She said and the students gasped
“That senior who act like she’s better than everyone else?” Pierce scoffed
“Gosh,is there any girl that senior haven’t dated? I really want to be like him when I grow up” Milo laughed
“No way,I prefer senior Romeo” Everest said
“Hey Pearl,is your brother really allergic to girls?” Blossom,April’s best friend asked
“Yes, he’s allergic to tiny girls like you” Pearl replied savagely and the class laughed
“Seriously? Is that why he’s always around you? Coz you are thick?? Wow” Milo grinned and Everest slap his head
“Settle down” The homeroom teacher entered and the students became quiet
“Cayden,did you check your position?” She asked,she’s known for calling students by their first name and Pearl is her favorite student
“Yes miss Lucille” Pearl muttered
“So,what happened?” Miss Lucille asked,standing before Pearl’s desk
“I made some mistakes during the test” Pearl replied
“It better be a mistake Cayden” Miss Lucille said before facing the whole class
Pearl sighed out and bite her l-ips

AFTER SCHOOL**
“Wanna come along? Who knows you might find some b*tches” Donovan teased Romeo as they walked out of the class together
“Have I ever followed you all to f**k b*tches? I’m not interested” Romeo scoffed
“Gosh you’re boring” Princeton shook his head
“Hey babe!” Cassie called from the back and Princeton turned
“Does she even know he’s going to break up with her next week?” Donovan asked as they stared at them k-sing
“Hey bye bro” They waved at him
“Make sure to use protection! You wouldn’t wanna receive bad luck!” Romeo called after them,watching them leave
“Hey Romy” Betsy called as she got to him,smiling
“It’s Romeo” Romeo snapped and walked away
Betsy scoffed and run her fingers through her hair before leaving angrily

Pearl shook her head
“Maybe because you’re a senior” She said
“Oh right,but I know you. I’m Campbell” he smiled,stretching his hand for a shake
Pearl smiled and took his hand
“Mind going out with me? Just to know more about each other?” Campbell asked
“She’s not interested” Romeo said from the back and they both looked up
“Chérie” Pearl called and Romeo grabbed her hand
“Don’t ever talk to her again,do you get that?” He snapped at Campbell before dragging Pearl away

CAYDEN’S MANSION**
“Hey Chérie!” Pearl ran after Romeo as they entered the house
“What” Romeo muttered without waiting,he entered his room and Pearl immediately followed him
“Are you angry? I wouldn’t go out with him and you know that,I was just listening….”
“Don’t listen to things like that next time,just walk away” Romeo cut in
“But,do you think he was going to ask me out?” Pearl grinned,leaning on the wall
“Ask you out? Why are you smiling because of that?”
“It’s my first….” Romeo moved closer to her and placed his two hands on the wall by her sides,caging her there.
His eyes strolling all over her face,her s–xy and bright eyes,pointed nose,red,small l-ips,everything about her was just perfect
Pearl looked up
“Don’t listen to any guy who try saying sh*ts like that to you,just listen to me alone” Romeo said while Pearl stared at him innocently
“Don’t look at another guy this way either,only me” Romeo added
