Chapter 26: LADY MOREEN’S REPLY.
Enya have waited for another three days before she finally got a reply from her mother.
It was so shocking to her to read that Arwen has gone missing for days now and no one knows of her whereabout.
Enya’s fears grew as she pondered on what Anna might be up to against her.
She knew Anna would do whatever it takes to stop Arwen from writing to her.
She rubbed her forehead, she was growing scared more and more.
The fact that Arwen has gone missing made her wondered if she was dead.
” No, Anna. She will never try to kill her sister.” She doubted her thoughts.
Though Anna might be wicked now, she can not hurt Arwen to the extent of killing her.
There’s got to be a place in her heart that still felt good. She mentally said to herself.
She opened the letter again, reading it for the second time.
It reads;
” I feared I will only create concern to you if I had to tell you so long that your younger sister had gone missing.
We all thought she was out to be alone, or rather have a walk around the city, but we waited for days and yet she never came back.
Anna told us that she did saw her the day she disappeared.
She said Arwen refused to talk to her. She asked several times but she refused to tell her where she was going to.
I regret to say this but Arwen will be the end of me. And her new attitude all started after the night of your wedding.
I know she misses you a lot but, leaving the castle without telling anyone her whereabout is so strange of her.
We have sent troupes all over the kingdom, they are earnestly searching for her.
Not to worry much, I believe they will find her and bring her home safe and sound.
Send my regards to your husband. I still hope to hear the cries of my grand children.
Good bye, my dear. ”
Enya folded the sheet back again, dropping it under the lamp.

Arwen grunted as she slowly opened her eyes, glaring around the dark environment.
The only source of light from the cave was the reflection from the burning candles arranged in four ways.
” Don’t bother your strength, it’s late to react.” Said the witch who watches her from her seat.
Arwen forces her gaze at the old woman’s direction. She was old enough and likely to be in her 70’s.
” Who are you?” She asked faintly.
” You don’t remember? Then I guess my spell really worked. ”
She rubbed her eyes, ” Wh… what are you talking about? what spell? ” She asked again, trying hærd to get a clear vision of the lady afar off her.
” Anna, your sister, she is on her way to Brok castle. Hopefully, our plans is going to work. Lady Enya will no longer be Rodriguez’s bride. ”
” No. No, this isn’t happening. I thought this have all ended. No, I wasn’t dreaming, was I? ”
” Indeed. You have been asleep for a week now, thank the heavens I did not extend your days. Very soon, Anna will become the true queen and rightful bride of Lord Rodriguez. ”
” No! ” She cried. ” You can’t let her do that! You can’t let her take what is not hers. Enya is the true bride no one else.
She is innocent, she does not deserve Anna’s evil act. Please, you must stop her from hurting Enya or things will turn out the wrong way. ”
” There is no need stopping her, she is only few miles to the castle. And when she gets there, she will take it all. Every thing that belongs to her one by one. ”
” I have to go, I must report this to the castle. ” She gro-ned as she stepped out of the flat bed rock, she almost fell but quickly wedged herself.
” And what makes you think they will believe you?” Asked the old woman, hands resting under her jaw.
” Because they are all looking for me.” She replied. ” When I tell them what she is up to, they will not hesitate to stop her.”
The old woman filled the atmosphere of the cave with her laughter. ” Ha ha ha!! Some one is playing with fire.”
” I think that some one is you. You may think my sister is a weak woman, if you and Anna know of what she have become, you wouldn’t waste your time plotting evil against her. ”
” What are you talking about? ”
” You will find out, when the time comes. And then, we will know who really is playing with the fire. ”
She pulled herself out of the cave, finding her way back home.
She leaned against a tree, taking in as much air as her lungs could carry. Home was miles away from there, she’s still got more to cover up.
” Dear God, this is the hour I need your help. Do not let my evil sister harm Enya, do not let her have Enya’s place. It was you you brought them together, do not let anyone put asunder.
Dear God, I know you are up there. I know you can hear me. Please… I beg you, help my sister. Keep her safe, for me and for everyone who loves and cares for her. ” She sighed. ” Please. ”
She pulled herself together, forcing her legs to carry her and she didn’t stop until she was now standing in front of the castle.
” The princess is here!!” Cried one of the guards. ” Inform the King!! ”
Arwen kept breathing like she had walked round the kingdom in a second. She was still standing there until the King and Queen was out.
Lady Moreen ran to her, feeling her to see if she was real or a different version of her bearing the same face.
” Mother, it’s me.”
” Oh, Arwen, why would you do this to me and your father? You have kept us worried sick about you all day, why have chosen to wicked us? ” Lady Moreen wept.
” Mother, I did not chose to wicked anyone, I was only doing what I felt was right to do. I did not know I will only end up getting caught. ”
” Getting caught? ” She repeated. ” By who? ”
” You didn’t hear? ” She moved her gaze to her father who was standing speechless, watching them. ” Where is Anna?” She asked.
” She left to your aunt’s place.” Replied Lady Moreen.
” How long has it been?” She asked again.
” Two days. Tell me, is there a problem? Or have some thing bad happen to her too? ”
” Anna is not in any problem, Enya is. But the problem is Anna and she is in Brok as we speak. She will do everything to get Enya. ”
” I do not understand what you are trying to say, Arwen, please talk clearly to me. What is going on? ”
” This is all my fault, I should have reported this a long time. We need to stop Anna, we mustn’t let her hurt Enya. Please, mother, let’s do something about this. ”
King Neheb saw how hurt she was as she held her mother, now she was weeping.
” Why is Anna after Enya?” He asked.
” She isn’t just after sister Enya, she’s after Lord Rodriguez’s heart. She wants to poison Enya’s mind, to clear every memories she has and have Lord Rodriguez to herself.”
” Is Enya aware of this? ” He asked.
” I think so. ” Lady Moreen said. ” Two days ago, she sent me a letter asking of both you and Anna. I told her you left without saying a word to anyone. ”
” No, I was only spying Anna to the sorceress’s coven. I wasn’t lost, they made me sleep for weeks. ”
Lady Moreen looked at King Neheb who was speechless. If anyone could tell him something like this would end up happening… he wouldn’t believe it.
” How long have this been going on?”
” Anna’s jealousy started the day Lord Rodriguez proclaimed Enya as his bride, but she first went to visit the witch the day they journeyed to Brok.”
” Oh no…. ” Lady Moreen gasped.

Chapter 27: ANNA’S PLANS

He held her wa-ist, his jaw rested on one shoulder. ” You look troubled. Tell me, what troubles you, my love?”
She exhaled heavily. ” Nothing.” She turned to look at him, forcing herself to smile. ” I am fine.” She lied.
” You do not look fine to me, there is something you are not telling me.”
” I don’t feel safe anymore.” She said, bitterly.
” Why would you say that?” He questioned.
” Because I am scared, Riguez. I am scared..”
” Scared of what?”
” Every thing. Nothing feels safe anymore, ” shooks her head. “especially to me.”
” This is… I don’t understand. ”
She sniffed. ” Do you love me?” She asked instead.
” Of course, I do love you. I really do with all my heart.”
” What if I can’t have you forever despite our love for each other? Will you still remember me?”
” I will not answer that if you refuse to tell me what is going on. Enya, I am your husband and I deserve to know everything that bothers you.
I deserve to know what is and yet to happen because I chose to be with you and no one else.”
” Mother sent me a letter this morning, she said Arwen has gone missing for a week now. No one knows where she is but I think she isn’t missing.
Someone who knows she writes to me about Anna must have taken her under custody. ”
” You suspect some one? ” He asked and she nodded her head. ” Who? ”
” My sister, Anna.”
Riguez walked to sit on on one of the chairs, his hand rubbing his eyes. ” I thought this was over, why is she still after you?”
” I don’t know.” She walked to sit on a different seat, just close to his. ” No wonder why Arwen never wrote back to me since the day after our wedding.”
Sighed. ” I knew some thing was wrong. I once had a dream of Anna, she looked evil and… I don’t know. ”
” I must meet with your parents first by tomorrow, I need to have this discussed with them. Are they aware of this already? ”
” I think so. But I doubt Arwen must have told them. Do you think it is safe leaving tomorrow? ”
” Do you suggest I leave today? Maybe tonight? ” He asked.
” No. No, that is not what I meant. ”
” When do you want me to go? ”
” Anytime. I… I’m just too scared, that’s all. ”
” Don’t worry, my love, no one is taking me from you. ”

~ AT THE OLD HUT ~

Anna had finished making the black portion, dropping it in a cup.
She mixed it with the water, turning it vigorously with her first finger. She poured it all into her mouth at once, gulping it.
She waited for a minute or so to react in her body, then she stared at herself at the mirror.
She looked different, changed, bearing the same look as Enya that one could hærdly know who is who.
She moved her fingers on her face, loving the new look she beared. ” I’m coming home, my love. I’m coming home to have you to myself. ”
She bursted into a loud laughter.
She applied a little makeup on her face, changing to the same exact cloth Enya was putting on.
She waited until it was nightfall, then she made her way to the castle.

~ PENDAMOUR ~

King Neheb had just received the letter from Lord Rodriguez. With the letter being sent to him, he knew things had turned out pretty bad.
But to his surprise, Lord Rodriguez only sent the letter to inform him that he was coming to Pendamour by tomorrow.
Despite that, he still doubts every thing was alright. Some thing must have conspired to him coming over.
” What did it say?” Lady Moreen asked.
” He will be coming to Pendamour by tomorrow. I think Anna had invaded the castle. ”
” This is getting serious than it should be. Why would Anna want to create chaos between our families? Why would she have such an evil mindset for her sister all because of a man? ”
” I believed Anna to be such an innocent girl. She with Arwen… they were my favorite daughters. I did loved Enya but, ”
” I understand. Enya might not be… I don’t know but I think I have always preferred her to the others. Though she is the desperate type of person, but she does that for a reason.
Maybe somehow she must have met with him in the past who knows. ”
” Why would you say that? ”
” A day after Enya quitted from the test, I showed your grand mother’s history. She felt desperate to know more, and I am very certain it was the reason she always sneaks out of the castle.
So, whatever reason Anna had for planing evil against her sister, then I think it’s something that has a lot to do with Lord Rodriguez’s love. ”
” What do you suggest we do about this? ” He thought.
” Despite Anna turning evil, she is still our daughter. First, we must find the witch who convinced her to this. ”
” What makes you think we can still find her after Arwen has reported her to us? She is a witch, Moreen, she is long gone to nowhere. ”
” I will leave to Brok by sun set. ” Arwen ch¡pped in as she walked into the meeting hall.
” No, Arwen, you are going nowhere. I can’t risk losing you for the second time. ”
” Then will you love to risk Enya too? ” She queried. ” Right now, Anna is at Brok and we don’t know what she is up to.
If I go to Brok, I can convince Lord Rodriguez to her plans. ”
” There is no need for that. ” Lady Moreen said.
” What? But why? ”
” Because he is journeying to Pendamour tomorrow morning. Maybe you should wait until then, we can all have this discussed and planned. ” She explained.
” Very well, if you say so. ”
