“k-ss me back.” Cindy said sed-ctively that Samuel couldn’t resist her.

She closed her eyes and made to k-ss him again but Samuel turned his head sideway.

” Cindy…stop.” he managed to uttered.

“Why? I wanna do this with you today, tomorrow you can decide to do anything like snub me or anything… it’s been long, right?” She said moving closer to him.

” If you move any closer…I may do something stupid.” He said in a low voice but audible enough for her to hear.

” Do that stupid thing…just let this off my head.” She said.

” Not with me, Cindy.”

” Then with who?’ she asked turning him to himself.

“You’re married..”

Cindy shut him up with her l-ips on his l-ips. Samuel couldn’t stop himself this time around, he gave in to the world of pleasure and k-ssed her back passionately.

He’s such a good k-sser as he devour Cindy’s l-ips like his life depended on it.

“You heard me… I’ve never felt like this all my life. Even when Emmanuel do touch me, I’ve never felt so good like this. I’m sure if it were to be you that’s doing that then, I’d have let go of my V-rginity but I don’t always feel like this when with Emmanuel. Now, right now, my body’s on fire and only you can quench it with your touch.” She said slowly and gently.

Samuel could only watched her talk. He can’t believe she’s saying all that.

“No Cindy, don’t be silly. Stop acting like this for goodness sake!” He said.

“How am I acting? Is it not enough that I’m pregnant for the unknown and the unknown turned out to be Philip? Is it not enough that I married someone who doesn’t care? Is it not enough that….” She was interrupted by a gentle peck on her l-ips.

“Enough. I understand you, but let’s take things step by step and slowly. Let’s find a way out of this mess first, then what to do next would be known.” He said gently car-ssing her body sending sweet feelings to her body.

“Sam…” She said almost in a whisper smuggling closer to his chest.

“I love it when you call me that.” He answered not taking away his hand

“Last k-ss for today…” She whispered k-ssing his neck.

“Not again. What we’re doing isn’t right enough.” He said suppressing the urge to devour her l-ips hungrily.

“I started it, didn’t I? You have nothing to worry about, okay? Just please me.” She said.

“Have you eaten?” He asked.

“Let’s find something to eat. Where should we go?” He asked.

“When there’s foodstuff in the house?”

“And that reminds me, I’d soon be leaving this house.” He said.

Cindy raised her head from his chest and stared at him.

“Why?”

“Nothing. I wanna change house. It’s for the best anyways.”

“So, where are you planning to go? And what happened to this place?” She asked.

“I’m still looking into where to go although I’ve Informed an agent and in a week or so, he’d have found one . And this place would still be this place. Nothing would happen to it ” he told her.

” Why does it feel as if you’re leaving this place because of me?” She asked.

” Aww… Stop that! How do you mean? We’re still together, okay?” He said.

” No problem. I’m famished.” She said.

” What do you wanna eat?” He asked.

“I don’t know. Let’s go to the kitchen first ” she said

” Okay.” He said and stood up expecting her to stand up too.

” Let’s go now ” he said ’cause she’s still sitting down.

” I’ve been stressed too much today, carry me to the kitchen.” She said

” You made a mistake. You’d have said ‘carry us to the kitchen’ instead. You’ve forgotten, you are two?” He asked smiling handsomely.

“Stop please.” She said and before she could blink again..

She’s in his arm. He carried her in a bridal style out of the room and placed her on the kitchen cabinet when they got there.

“Sit there and watch me cook.” He said k-ssing the back of her hand.

” Your ring…?” He asked.

” Just go and cook, okay?” She said avoiding his question.

She has removed the ring from her finger earlier in the morning. And she has it in mind to let her parents know everything she’s been facing in her marriage after the service and to tell them that she’s no longer interested in the marriage again. But another issue ensued.

” We have a lot to talk about after eating ‘ he said.

“Sure. I’m ready to be open.” She answered.

“Now, be a good boy and cook for momma.” She laughed.

“Fine.”

He said and set to cook while she watched in smiles.

John was in his room lying down with his head full of Lizzy’s thought. How’d she try to hide that huge fact away from him? He was tempted to go to her house right now but no, he can’t do that.

“Just when I’m about to tell her my true feelings. Just when we’re about to start something special.” He soliloquies.

Then his phone rang beside him.

📞 Who’s this please?

📲Annabella

📞Oh… Annabelle, how’re you?

📲I’m not fine

📞What happened?

📲My mum isn’t fine.

📞What happened to her?

📲Ever since the day you came.

📞Where are you and how did you get my number?

📲I’m at home with her. She hasn’t left her room since day break. And I got your number from her phone. She was charging it in the living room.

📞Have you eaten?

📲No..

📞Why?

📲My mum isn’t fine, so I’m not hungry.

She started crying.

📞Okay… I’ll be there soon.

He said and ended the call.

“God! I hope that little one isn’t thinking I’m the one behind this.” He thought as he got his car key and walked out of the house.

Mrs Veronica has calmed down a bit now. And they’re eating in the dining when their doorbell rang.

“I’ll go see who’s at the door.” Lawyer James said and left.

Soon, he opened the door and The Walter walked in. Mrs Veronica, on sighting them stood up and told them to get out of her house. But they all went to their knees instantly begging her to hear them out first.

Even pastor Walter was kneeling down. Lawyer James whispered some few words to his wife and they allowed them to sit down.

“We are here to say sorry. We’ve got to know about this some times back but we’re too scared to face you.” Mrs Monica started.

“And ain’t you facing us now?” Mrs Veronica ch¡pped in

“We are so sorry. Please forgive us. We’ve offended you, we know. But please for the sake of Christ we are both serving…” She was interrupted.

“Shut up! Keep it to yourself. So, you know Christ exist, yet you did that to my daughter? My only child…innocent and lovely soul..” Mrs Veronica said.

” Please…” Philip started but was cut short.

“Shut it. I’m not done talking. What did our family bought from you that we didn’t pay? You were here that day when I was scolding my daughter about this unknown pregnancy not knowing you’re the one behind it. Devil in human clothing. Don’t bother wasting your time because, I will never forgive you! Now, out of my house!” She shouted and they got up immediately,startled.

” Out of this building!” She shouted again.

Lawyer James knew better than to tell her to calm down. He was also in pain too but what can he do?

” Please…forgive us ..” Pastor Walter said on their way out.

” Don’t say that word in my hearing again! Out!” She said angrily.

The Walter walked out with their legs heavy.

” You should have calm down now..” Lawyer James said.

” Calm down? Are you the one telling me this? Is my daughter not precious to you again?”

” She’s precious even more than gold. But we are not God, life itself is unpredictable. We can’t undo what’s been done.” He said.

” Pls, spare me this preachings.” She said and left the living room.

” Where’s she?” John asked immediately Ann opened the door for her.

“There in the living room.” She said without moving an inch.

John quickly rushed in,side and met darkness except for a candle light in the dining area.

“Ann…!” He called but no response.

“Lizzy?”

No response…

Seconds later, some words appeared on the wall reading, “PLEASE, FORGIVE ME. I AM DEEPLY SORRY.”

Then, he understands what’s going on. Lizzy tricked her to apologize. He took his seat and words start displaying one after the other.

Lizzy showed up after the last word dressed gorgeously in a glittering red short gown with black heels. She applied a little make up on her face and a red lipgloss.

John couldn’t help but marvelled at the beauty in his front. Lizzy slowly walked to him and sat beside him

“I am sorry. I can explain. Nine years ago, I was raped by my then boyfriend when I visited him in his house. He called me saying he was sick and I should get him drugs…not knowing it was a trap. It resulted into pregnancy and I couldn’t get rid of it ’cause I was scared of death. He told me to abort it or he’d cut all ties with me. When I didn’t abort it like he wished, he broke up with me and I was on my own. It was after having her, I chased my nursing dream to be somebody in life.” She paused staring at John.

” I couldn’t tell you because lots of men have dumped me after getting to know about my daughter. So, I think you’d do the same if you get to know too. I’m sorry for keeping such away from you.” She ended.

John couldn’t say a word. He leaned in closer to her and k-sses the hell outta her l-ips. She reciprocated immediately and they k-ssed hungrily like they’ve been starved of it for years.

Minutes later, they broke it breathing heavily.

“I love you, Lizzy. Be my intimate for real. No acting this time.” He said not breaking the eye contact.

Lizzy’s tummy did some dancing as smile appeared on her face.

Without a word, she closed her eyes and k-ss him so passionately. He pulled her more closer car-ssing her body along with the k-ss. She mo-ned softly into his mouth as he squeezed her left side b**b.
The k-ss was getting into a hot rom-nce and mo-ns heard in the living room..

After some minutes, they stopped and she rested her head on his chest.

“I’ve forgiven you. It wasn’t easy avoiding you. I love you so much ” John said rubbing her bare back.

” Thank you. I love you too.”

Samuel’s House

He’s done cooking and they’re in the dining eating.

“Delicious!” She said.

“Really?”

She nodded.

“Thank you.”

“Sam, I’m planning on conducting a paternity test. ’cause I still can’t believe Philip can do such to me despite who he is.” She said.

” We are all human beings. Anybody can do the unexpected.” He said.

” Including you?” She asked laughing

” I don’t know. But you know, I also did the unexpected earlier.” He said staring at her.

” I started that one, you know ”

” So, what if it turn out that he’s the father.”

” He will not have anything to do in my child’s life. I can take care of him/her on my own.” She said while Samuel chuckled.

” It’s not funny ”

” I know. But you sounded funny.”

‘how do you mean?”

“You can’t deny your child his/her fatherly love and care.” He said.

“But it sounds stupid. How’d someone did that to me..? I still can’t explain why!” She said.

“You have to accept it because there is absolutely nothing you can do about it unless you want to get rid of the baby., Which I’m not in support of it.” He said.

Cindy dropped her fork and drank some water.

“I’ve accepted it anyways. And… I’m divorcing Emmanuel very soon.” She said as she resumed eating.

“Why?” Samuel asked

“Nothing. We are not meant to be together, I guess. And another lady is sharing my husband with me which sounds stupid. I can’t stand his presence and I can’t be leaving under the same roof with them. We have no intimacy. We’re just living like strangers and it’s suffocating me.” She said.

” I can’t believe Emmanuel can change drastically like that. I mean after all the love and care he showered me while dating. I thought I’ve seen my soulmate but no, I was wrong. I made a mistake. Emmanuel has became someone I don’t know again. A stranger. It’s killing me in,side. The thought of divorcing him is even giving me creeps because I love him more than how he’s treating me. He’s treating me so badly. Imagine him sleeping with another lady on our bed…when I’m not handicapped. I.. I can’t believe it. It’s true human beings can’t be trusted. Like you said, anybody can do the unexpected. I hope you don’t leave me too…but you will eventually do so…or won’t you get married again? Of course you will, Ellen too will soon get married and I will be left alone. I…” She sobbed.

Samuel left his seat and went to her. He lifted her up from the seat and cleaned her tears with his palm.

Without saying a word, he k-ssed her himself, passionately and she returned it. The k-ss was the one that holds lots of unexplained emotions. It’s in a slow, gentle and rom-ntic k-ss.

Not breaking the k-ss, he carried and placed her on the dining table, got in-between her legs and resumed the k-ss.
