MITCHELL POV
“Tell me Mitchell are you trying to avoid me” He asked bringing me out of my current state
I stared at him and then I remembered what he just asked
“Of course not, Am not avoiding you, I just…..please move back a little” I said suddenly
“Do I smell bad?”he asked starring at me in surprise
He wasn’t expecting me to say that but I had to say it before I lose my head completely
Just him being near made me feel giddy and my stupid heart won’t just stop beating fast and loud,Am scared that he would hear it
“No you don’t smell bad,I just need some air” I made an excuse
“Then you should have said it that way! You made me think that I ……”
“Do we have to go on that trip” I said interrupting him
“What?”
“The trip to the island, Do we have to go there”I asked starring at him
“Oh you know already” He said
“Yes I do and I don’t want to go”I said
Being on an island with him as a companion made me feel some how
“And may I ask why?”He asked starring at the darkness ahead
“I don’t feel up to travelling, All this is getting me worked up, I don’t deserve to go with you” I said
“Because you are not the real Mitchell?”he asked softly
“Because am not the one you truly love,. The missing Mitchell is the one you want with you, Am just like a part timer here” I said
“And what is a part timer” He asked starring at me
“Am just substituting for her, When she comes back I will leave” I said
“Yes you will leave but for now you are going to stay here ”
“Until Max comes back, That’s why it’s best if we don’t spend too much time together, Cancel the weekend trip” I said and began to walk off
“The trip won’t be cancelled” He said suddenly and I stopped
“But…….”
“When I planned this trip it was to go by myself, Am not going there for fun Mitchell, There are some important people that I have to see there and you have been stressed for the past few days, I thought that by going there you will relax a bit and have fun while I worked but it seems like you want to stay here, Then stay but am leaving ” He said and walk past me
I sighed as I watch him leave, It’s for the best, I thought
Why did it have to be him, He belongs to someone else, He will never see me the way I see him
I might have the same face as Mitchell but I am not her and that’s some thing he knows and will always remember.
LUIS POV
“The meeting for the board members have been postponed and we still have to visit the. Hospital and the orphanage home and Al…… Your majesty are you listening to me?”He asked Suddenly and I gave him a look which made him bow
“I will just come back when you are ready” He said and left the room
As soon as the door was shut I threw the pen I was holding away
How could she have refused, I prepared every thing just for the both of us
“Yes I do and I don’t want to go……..Am just substituting for her,When she comes back I will leave” Just remembering her words made me feel angry
Why does she insist on comparing herself to Mitchell, If only she knew that it was her I love.
No matter how hærd I try to stop my feelings, it just won’t stop, While I held her in my arms at the engagement party,I had felt like the most luckiest guy
If she hadn’t turned her cheeks, I would have k-ssed her.
I wonder how it would feel if I k-ss her, I thought as I stood up and began to pace around the room
I can’t concentrate and it’s all because of her
I really don’t want to go on that trip alone, I want her there with me but now that she has refused, I just have to think of other ways to see her before the day of the wedding which is taking place Next weekend
I just can’t believe that for a week, We won’t be allowed to see each other, It’s the rule and I must follow it, I thought.
This weekend is the only time I will be seeing her until the day of our wedding and I won’t waste it
Whether she likes it or not, She will be coming with me, I will make sure of that
Picking up my phone I began to turn everything into a plan
MITCHELL POV
“Where are we going to mom?”I asked as we got into the limousine
Its the weekend today and while I was hoping to relax and relieve myself off the stress of the past few days, I was told by Mitchell mom that we will be going some where
She never told me where we were going to and after hours of trying to persuade her,I got tired myself
“We have arrived”She said getting out of the car
I did the same and found myself standing in front of the airport
“Why are we here mom?”I asked
“I had to bring you here, You both hærdly have time for each other and for the next few days, You won’t see each other until the wedding,So just go with him on this trip okay”
“But mom ………”
“I know that you want to thank me but do that later cause He is coming,Have fun my child and don’t worry too much” She said and before I could say a thing to stop her , She got into the car and she was driven off
“Mom!!!” I yelled after her but it was no use
“Calling her won’t make her come back”He said behind me and I turned to see him all dressed in a black tux,Looking as handsome as ever
“Did you make her do this?”I asked holding unto my luggage
“Well let’s say I just mentioned to her that you refused to come and she told me that she would certainly bring you to me, I never thought that she would resort to this method “He said smiling
“Why didn’t you tell her not to do anything! I told you already, I don’t want to go” I said
“But you are here now, So let’s go”
“You just don’t seem to get it right! I can’t be close to you, I don’t want to be around you all the time” I said Trying to make him understand
Going with him on this trip will only bring the two of us close and that’s what am trying to avoid, I can’t let myself keep on loving him, He belongs to some one else
“Why do you insist on not going with me?”He asked
“We both know why Luis and it would be best if I just leave, I will make up an excuse at home,So you better be thinking of making one too” I said turning to leave
Suddenly my bag was snatched from my hands and I was lifted into some one arms
I looked up to find Luis starring down at me ” what are you doing Luis, Put me down” I said
“No, I planned this trip for us and you won’t be backing out, We are both going there, TOGETHER” he said meaning every word he uttered
“Take her bag and let’s head to the jet” He said to guards who were surrounding us.
