EPISODE 18
Jasmine’s POV
“So..” // ” I…”
We broke the silence together after the very long k-ss.
“Go first” I told him.
“I’m sorry for everything” He said. ” I wanted to teach you a lesson for how you treated I and my sister when we came here but I think I went too far” He said wiping my tears with his palm.
I smiled though “I learnt it in a very hærd way” I said taking his hand off my face and intertwining my fingers with his.
“So you like me all this while? ” I asked and he nodded..
“Since when did you like me back? ”
“Uhm, I think I liked you when I first saw you but I wasn’t able to notice it b’cos my mind was and is still occupied with the death of my parents besides your bad-mannered attitude didn’t let me realise that I do” He said.
“Well, well well, let’s start the introduction we skipped” I suggested and he smiled.. “I’m Jasmine Maya Bryant” I said.
“We don’t need to, I already know much about you , very much ” Shannon said.
I smiled and lean on his shoulder
“I’m glad we are friends now”
“No, we are not” He said.
“What?? You k-ssed me and you said…” I raised my head,seperated my hand from his and blurted but he cut in..
“We are more than just friends” He smiled at me and I smiled too.
“Jeez! I’m late for school” He suddenly remembered and prepared to leave.
“C’mon you can skip school , don’t you wanna stay at home with me? You and I, home alone” I said then he checked my body temperature by placing his palm on my fore-head.
“You are no more ill , Whao”
“You did it” I told him as I recalled the k-ss and I looked at his l-ips which he folded when he caught me gazing at it.
We sat really close to each other with me resting on his shoulder while he gently squeezed my hand.

Boom, Alex bumped in,side, he left home very early in the morning.
“O M G ! ” He exclaimed when he saw us in a position like this…
We quickly separated like nothing happened while Shannon stood up, coughed and cleared his throat severaly.
“A… Alex” He stammered.
“Did I interrupt something? I mean I can not believe my eyes they’ve been decieving me. Did I just see you and my sister together and…” His phone rang, he picked it up and said into it
” Give me some minutes Ivy” then the call ended.
He looked at me and Shanon then said “You both sure have something to tell me”
Then he went to his room, took something,came out and left the house.
“I guess we are lucky he didn’t see us doing the number one” I said and we both laughed.

Shannon’s POV
When it was time for dinner
…as usual with a complete family..
Jasmine and I made the dinner together, I thought her how to cook and she readily qnd gladly learnt it.
We set the table together and everyone was astonished most especially Alex, he knew something is fishy.
“Shannon and I made the dinner” Jasmine told them.
“Shannon, are you sure Jasmine didn’t cook alone? ” Mr Bryant asked making reference to the day Jasmine cooked.
“No” I gave a short laugh ” I taught her how to cook instead”
“Oh Shannon, I’ve seen you are the behind my changed Jasmine.. I’m really grateful” Mrs Bryant said.
I smiled at Jasmine, who smiled back.
Then we took our seats, she sat next to me then Emily by my other side.
Under the dining table, we held hands as Mrs Bryant lead a short prayer.
“I think something climbed atop my legs” Mrs Bryant said making an effort to look at her feet..
“What’s that? ” Mr Bryant asked when she didn’t raise her head up quickly.
“Oh nothing, I thought I felt something climbing on my leg” She said.
“So let’s eat”
We ate in silence except for the sound from the TV while I and Jasmine kept staring and smiling continuously at eachother…Alex saw and noticed us and Mrs Bryant noticed us too…. What?
I stop smiling back at Jasmine and murmured so Jasmine would hear me “Your mom is staring us”

“Maya I think there’s something fishy between Jasmine and Shannon” Mrs Bryant told her husband after dinner.
“Really? Something fishy like? ”
“LOVE”
“Did you notice anything between the two? ”
“Of course, I saw them holding hands underneath the table, I saw it” She said
“They are in love, they were smiling and staring at eachother during dinner..They are in love Maya, didn’t you notice it? ”
“Well, I didn’t and it’s good for them”
“I’m so happy my stone-hearted daughter has finally fallen in love. I didn’t give birth to a l-sbian afterall”Mrs Bryant said.
“Could it be that they are dating? Oh my God, I hope it is”
“They sat together,held hands,smiled and stared at eachother, what do you think it is? they are already one! Be closer to your daughter so she would open up to you” Mr Bryant said.
“I’m so excited anyways” Mrs Bryant remarked.
“Well Laura, my eyes are heavy. Switch off the lights when you are about to sleep. Tomorrow is Saturday, I’ve got to enjoy it to the fullest” Mr Bryant said lying on the bed and covering himself with a blanket.
“My daughter is in love,yeah she’s in love” Mrs Bryant sang joyfully
