EPISODE 11

Ben walked up to Caitlin and I and put his hand around my shoulder, what the hell,

“Daisy and I are dating, got a problem with that?” he asked Caitlin and she shook her head negatively and walked away, “what the hell Ben what do you do that for, how can we say we’re dating” I said and removed his hand from my shoulder

“cause, If they all find out I’m single they’ll start to cling to me and I don’t want that, I’m sorry” he said

“sorry Mr popular, it’s your fault so you don’t have to get me involve in this okay?” I said and walked away aggressively, at the staircase I bumped into Sylvester who apologized but I told him not to worry, I was about to go when he stopped me and said,

“so are you coming to Lucas party?” he asked

“yeah of course I can’t miss that” I said with a smile

“yeah, you’re like the guest of honor since Lucas hangs with you so much” he said while I just giggled

“Oh and I gotta ask is anything going on between you and Ben, I saw he drove you to school today_

“no nothing is going on between us… Nothing at all” I said and he nods and smiled away

Oh em gee, why did he ask me that, does he have feelings for me!!

I walked in class and everyone started to look at me and not only did they look at they pointed and murmured, I mean hello, haven’t they heard of talking behind someone’s back, that would have been better..

I walked to my seat and start to read one of my novels ignoring the eyes staring at me and my name from different angles..

“hey Daisy” I heard Lucas voice and I raised my head, I’m so glad to see him like crazy ..

“hey” I said with a smile and he smiled back and sit down..

“so where did you go?” I asked

“well I got to get something, have you read this book “HE LOOKED” Lucas asked and I smiled cheerfully

“like seriously I love that book, it has so many actions” I said and he smiled

“well you’ve read it but have you lived it” he asked

Huh?

“what?” I asked confusingly

“the movie just came out and are open in cinemas and I bought tickets for the both of us” he said and I almost scre-med

“please don’t tell me you’re lying” I said

“why would I lie to you Daisy, check this out” he. Said and brought out the tickets from his bag and I grabbed one and smiled, I gave him a small hug, as a token of my appreciation and I heard a gasp behind me,

I turned and saw a blonde brunette staring at Lucas and I.. What’s her name again, oh yeah Jenna, Jenna is just a girl In our class who sits behind me and Lucas who talks alot and likes putting her life in other people’s businesses.. Lucas words not mine..

“how could you?” she said to me

“excuse me?” I tell her

“how could hug Lucas, when you’re dating Ben, that’s mean and that shows you’re clearly cheating on him” she said, what the hell..

“I’m sorry but you’re mistaken” I said

“what? Everyone knows Ben is dating you, you’re quite lucky you know, but how long did you think you could keep it from the wh0le school it’s a good thing Ben told Caitlin the truth and then when Caitlin told her friends the news spread” she said playing with her fingers.. Whoa words spread faster than ever in this school, that just happened few minutes ago

“well that was a lie, Ben just said it so Caitlin would leave, cause he’s not ready-to-date anyone and we’re not dating okay that was a big fat lie” I defended and she tilts her head..

“oh now I get, so if you and Ben aren’t dating that means you and Lucas are?” she asked and wow she is killing me

“no.. No we’re not” I said, why does everyone think I’m dating Lucas, I mean I can date him but it hasn’t get to that, and he doesn’t even like me.. He does but not that kind of like everyone’s thinking about..

“well that’s messed up” Caitlin said while I sighed

“but wait if you’re not dating Ben then why did you ride with him this morning in his car?” she asked, see this is exactly what I said about her, she lives her life in other people’s businesses..

“can’t you just stick to the fact that Ben and I aren’t dating, we just know each other we’re not friends okay” I said and she shrugged and I sighed and faced my front

“whoa, you?. And Ben..? That’s messed up” Lucas whispers to me

“tell me about it” I said to him

I heard grumbling behind me and I turned to see Jenna on top of her desk.

“hey everyone can I have your attention!” she yelled and evening turned to her..

“so what we all heard were rumours Daisy isn’t dating Ben, that’s just a big lie.. Ben just told Caitlin that she could not bug him and now she spread a false rumour” Caitlin said and everyone starts to murmur..

“how did you know? Daisy didn’t say that” a girl said and Caitlin eyes her before saying “I just talked to Daisy and she said its a lie, if you want ask her yourself Cleo” Caitlin said to the girl and everyone turned to me for answers..

“go ahead Daisy, tell them?” Jenna said and I sighed before saying “it’s true Ben and I aren’t dating” .. Everyone starts to murmur again and Jenna head was up feeling proud she just won a grammy award.. A teacher walked in our class and sighted Jenna immediately and said “miss Goodman get down” and slowly Jenna got down..

Today’s going to be the longest day ever..

After taking three subjects that morning Lucas and I went to the cafeteria together during Lunch time as usual..

We walked through the hallway briskly to the cafeteria and while walking three girls were standing there.. “hey look it’s Daisy” one said ” do you know she’s dating Ben” another one said

“well I found out during second period that it was just a rumour” another one said and I sighed.. Way to go Benjamin..

We got to the cafeteria and order our food, which was ketchup and fries for the both of us, we found a table beside the window and start to eat..

Until we heard “care if I join” I looked up and saw Ben smiling at Lucas and i

“what the hell? Ben? What are you doing here?” I whispered cause the entire cafeteria were looking at ben..

“to eat, what else.. So can I join you guys?” he asked

“no” Lucas replied before me and that was definitely my answer..

“I didn’t ask you Blondie” Ben remarks rudely and turned to me

“so?… ” he said looking at me..

“no” I replied plainly

“what? Why?” he replied and I stood up and sighed and in a whisper I said “look ben, I just cleared out my name in the one you this morning the entire school thought I was dating you when we’re actually siblings.. And what would they say now if you sit with us.. So just leave please!” I say and sit down..

“I don’t care what they sa–

“you don’t care but I do.. Just leave Ben!.. Leave! Get lost okay” I say and could hear the gasp from the people close to us,i wish I said that in a whisper

“you just vilified me Daisy and that was..

“if you don’t leave I’m gonna do more” I say and he sighs and walked away..

“hey come sit with us Ben”his friends called but he just walked away, I really didn’t wanted to talk to him that way, I feel really guilty but I think it was the best way to get him to leave I just don’t want people to get the wrong idea..

“don’t be said, you did the right thing” Lucas said and I shrugged and continued to eat while others faced their business..

“Ben would totally hate me now” Lucas said

“why? You didn’t do anything I was the one who annihilated him he would hate me instead” I said and drank my water

“Ben would never hate you” Lucas said and I gave him a look

“what would make you say that?” I asked

“cause.. Well he just can’t hate you.. Believe me when I tell you he said while I just rolled my eyes

school was over that day and I hated the fact that I’m riding home with Ben.. Thank goodness it was only a few, very few people that saw me entering the car, and later Ben came too.. Lucas didn’t ride with us and I missed him.. He rode with John and Sylvester Ben didn’t talk to me he just drove us home..

I got home and got down from the car before Ben and head straight to my room, I took a shower and changed into something comfortable.. As I jumped on my bed drying my hair with my towel.. I received a text message on my phone and picked it up and it was from Lucas..

** hey don’t forget out movie night, tonight, I’m coming over to pick youat four sharp and wear something s€×y** I read it and laugh.. And texted him back

** don’t try and make it sound like a date okay** before I knew it he texted me back

** do you want it to be? ** I didn’t reply instead I Just laughed, I glanced at the wall clock and it was three thirty, shoot I have to get ready, I picked out a yellow short dress from my closet a black boot, and a black belt.. I wore a thinned line necklace and a dotted earring I curled my brown hair but didn’t wear makeup, I mean it’s just Lucas and it’s not a date!

I grabbed My bag and looked at the time again, three fifty-eight, Lucas will be here any minute ..i hurried downstairs and met Ben eating dinner, Alone, speaking of dinner I haven’t even have one and I’m not hungry yet..

“so I’ll be out with Lucas, and I think I’ll be coming back late, I just feel like I should tell you” I said even though he’s not gonna answer me..

“okay take care” he said lowly and I was surprised a bit, but I just nod and walked outside only to bump into Lucas chest.. “ouch” I said and he laughed..

“sorry ..so.. Wow you look beautiful” he said while I just smiled in return “thanks” I said

“you didn’t bring your motorcycle?” I asked

“nah the cinema’s not far from your house it like five blocks away” he said and I nod

“so let’s go” I tell him and he nods.. We both left

The day was already getting dark as we both walked back home talking about the movie, I enjoyed it so much it was amazing, Lucas really made my day!

 

“so thanks for today!” I said as we both stopped in front of my house.. “no need it’s okay” he said as we both shared a brief smile.. His head started to lean closer to mine and I watched what he was trying to do, my eyes w¡den when I realized he’s about to k-ss me, his l-ips were only inches from mine when I suddenly moved back and said “Sorry.. I can’t do this” he moved back too and sighed

“I’m sorry.. I just.. I’m sorry really sorry” he apologized and rubbed the back of his neck..

“it’s okay, well goodnight” I said

“goodnight” he replied lowly and starts to walk away, and so did I.. As I was about to walk in I stopped on my track and turned

“Lucas!” I called and he turned swiftly and walked close to me and so did I..

“what?” he asked

I moved closer to him and k-ssed him.. He totally deserved it..
