EPISODE 33

During class activities I just kept glancing at Lucas and he just looks down and wasn’t paying attention at all.. It bothered me a little but what can I do he’s the one who’s ignoring me

“Daisy!” I heard the teacher’s voice call me and I flinched and turned immediately

“why are you just looking at the back of the class. What’s there to be making you not pay attention to my class” Mr Cosby our math teacher said.. Remember him, the one who liked me on my first day of school

“sorry Mr Cosby.. I was,.. I won’t do it anymore.. I’m sorry” I apologize quickly

“very well” he muttered and continued teaching, I glance at Lucas one more time and he was staring at me but quickly looked away..

Okay he’s totally ignoring me, I should just let him be..

Lucas and I had the same class together, we always do but I went alone since it seems like he wants to be alone…

“okay welcomes everyone, today we’ll be talking about the great people around th—

“excuse me, sorry Mrs Gemma.. I really have to go to the bathroom” Lucas suddenly interrupts our history teacher, Mrs Gemma but she agreed to let him go anyway..

History class was over and I shoved my notes in my backpack and carried my bag and was ready to go eat lunch alone when I heard girls scre-ming from outside,

What’s going on’ I ask my self

I walked outside of the class and someone suddenly grabbed me and pulled me in a corner,

“Ben!” I called immediately I saw his smiley face, and it made me smile too, he has such a contagious smile..

“hey daisy” he said and his smile beamed

“what are you doing here, aren’t you supposed to be in school” I said and looked at him from head to toe, he’s in his school uniform and the uniform was shinny and smells like riches.. And his blazer was one of a kind with his school badge on the blazer shining gold, he definitely goes to a rich school..

“I skipped school to see you” he said,

“skipped school! Are you crazy, what would your dad say, what would any teacher say” I yell in a whisper and he smiled “relax, nothing is going to happen so just lighten up and let’s go eat lunch I’m starving” he said

“really? You left your heavenly school and came to this, I know your school’s food service would serve ten times more than this school” I said and gesture my hand around in the air,

“come-on don’t say it like its a bad thing, remember I use to go here right!” he said and I rolled my eyes and sighed

“so.. Let’s go eat lunch” he said and placed his hand around my shoulder but I removed it..

“are you trying to murder me or something, do you know how many eyes would even kill me by just talking to you, you just had to make an appearance right?” I said, fold my hands and he laughed

“okay okay, but let’s just go I’m starving” he said and I sighed and we started to walk to the cafeteria..

The cafeteria was crowded as always and when we walked in everyone started staring at us, well point of correction Ben, some were calling his name while some Corky girls were just scre-ming..

We took a table at the back or the cafeteria after ordering our food, it was the table I eat with when I feel depressed..

“so where’s Lucas I hope he’s not doing anything funny to you” Ben asked as he took a bite out of his pea soup

“nope.. The only funny thing he’s doing is ignoring me” I said and stared at my food..

“ignore you? I thought he was your friend” Ben said looking at me

“yeah, I thought so too” I muttered slowly, and Ben placed his hand on top mine and said “don’t worry it’s Lucas he’ll come around, I don’t wish to find my self in his position but I know he’ll be okay” I felt a little bit Okay hearing Ben say that and I smiled and said “thanks,”

Just then two unknown girls came to our table, and the two of them held Ben’s hand.. What the.

“oh my Ben we miss you so much why did you have to leave our school” one with a pixie hairstyle said while Ben just gave her a smile..

“but why didn’t you tell us” the other one said

“tell you what?” Ben asked and they both brought out their phones and showed him something which I didn’t see cause we’re sitting opposite each other..

“that you’re Jerry Byers son” the one with the pixie hairstyle said with a grin

“is it a big deal” Ben asked and they both nod.

“I mean where were you all time no one knew Jerry Byers had a son” the one with the pixie hairstyle said and the other long haired rolled her eyes

“everyone knew Jerry Byers had a son but didn’t know where he was, you are so lucky Ben, you’re rich, handsome and also dating the most wonderful girl.. Me” the long haired girl said and I choked on my food while Ben quickly handed me his bottle of water….

Did she just say they’re dating?? Or I heard wrong,

“please can you guys leave us alone” Ben said to the girl and both gasped

“us?” the pixie hair girl said and suddenly turned to me..

“oh you’re with her, I swear I didn’t see her here, you must be Daisy, heard about you, I’m Maya and that is Kira” the pixie hairstyle girl said who’s Maya said..

I waved a little to them not wanting to be rude and turned to my food again.. I took a bite out of the tacos laying down on my tray and,

I looked up and Ben was staring at me, I gave him a “what?-why-are-you-staring-at-me?” look but he just smiled and I rolled my eyes but smiled shortly.. I glanced at Maya and Kira and they were both staring at us surprisingly.. “Ben? Why are you staring at her like that?” Kira asked irritatedlike, while Ben sighed and turned to her and said

“Is there any reason not to, look just leave us alone okay?” Ben flashed a smile at them and I almost got crushed it…

“fine.. I’ll leave not because you told me to but because I want to” Kira said aggressively and gave her partner a look and they both walked away but stopped after being five feet away from us..

“oh my God!” Maya yelled and everyone in the cafeteria turned to her. She gasped and slowly turn her sight to Ben and I and everyone’s sight turned to us too

What the hell is going on.. Maya whispered something to Kira and she gasped too and immediately they both walked back to our table with everyone still staring at us..

“oh my goodness Ben, I just figured out something! Do you have feelings for Daisy!!!” Maya yelled and the cafeteria went silent waiting for an answer..

I don’t like this.. Ben glanced at me then at wh0le cafeteria then at the two gossip girls beside us..

“I don’t know, what do you think?” Ben said to them and smiled and everyone starts to murmur, the two girls looked at each other and walked away while I just ate my food faster cause I didn’t feel good all of a sudden..

Finally lunch break was over and I heard back to my homeroom and was esc-rted by Ben.. While we were walking back to my class his phone suddenly beeped and he brought it out and checked it and then sighed

“so you go to class, I’ll see you another day, cause now I really have to get to work” he said and I nod

“well bye” I said and he smiled, waved and walked away.. He’s not even gone so far and I’m missing him already..

I almost in class when Lucas suddenly appeared from no where,

“Lucas” I gasped out fear, cause you know he suddenly popped out of nowhere..

“Daisy!” he called and took a step toward me.. But we were not that close..

“I’m sorry if I acted mean to you or avoided you, I just. Well I had to get rid of my anger yesterday, I’m sorry.. Even though I don’t get to have you that way.. I’ll still have you as a friend and I really appreciate that..” he said and I gasped softly, that was all I ever wanted to hear.. I gave him a tight embrace and whispered “thanks”….
