I was eight months gone already, am gonna give birth pretty soon.

Earlier today Lionel went on a three days business trips.

Although we have been talking on phone often.

Mona hates me with passion. I don’t know why

There was a day I was heading downstairs, she hurriedly followed behind me and forcefully pushed me down the stairs.

I scre-med and held my stomach, Mr Bush was closed by so he ran to my rescue preventing me from falling any further.

Whwn I became stable I confronted Mona but she denied it and teamed it to be my imagination.

I was arranging some baby stuff into the baby closets Lionel made, in case you don’t know.

Lionel prepared a room and painted it pink with so many Disney animation design on the wall by Lionel everything in the room is Pink. Cause my baby is a girl. I can’t wait to set my eyes on her.

I was about putting the last clothes into the closet when I heard a knock on the door.

I left what I was doing and headed towards the door.

I opened the door and gasped in shock..

“Lionel!!” I called as he was staring coldly at me with Mona gluing to his shoulder, I was overwhelmed with anger.

“I thought you were supposed to be in Malin?” I asked confusedly.

“He looked at me! And I instantly felt strange.

“Baby! Go straight to the point, and stop wasting time! Remember we’re gonna have a candle dinner tonight, so be snappy!” Mona said k-ssing Lionel without Lionel pushing or scolding her like before.

I was devastated…

“Why now? I thought as my eyes started heating up.

“Lindy! Or what so ever you’re called, am giving you three seconds to vacate the premises. I don’t want to set my eyes on you or the bastard in your stomach.

You’re not my match, you’re some bunch of lowlife! Just leave immediately I have lose interest in you…. Your sight disgust me. So hurry up cause I want to spend time with Mona my long lost love!” Lionel said coldly.

And I couldn’t believe My ears! What? Am I dreaming, I just wish am dreaming. Someone should wake me up.

I pinched myself but the pain was pretty good and painful reminding me that I was not dreaming at all… It was all reality.

“Lionel! What has come over you? Remember you promise to be there for me and my kid. You promise we are gonna get married and get old together. Remember?? Please what has gotten over you!! I yelled crying real hærd as I was about holding Lionel.

“Am sorry!! But I don’t remember anything, I only remember my love Mona and she’s the one I love, so go out this minutes!” He uttered with seriousness and I felt like collapsing I felt the world has come to an end.

“Please Lionel!! Try remember for our child.” I knelt down and was holding onto his legs but Mona pushed me back and I landed on my butts.

“Are you deaf or something! He said you should vacate the premises instantly! So do that and stop forcing him to love you!” Mona said smiling with victory.

“But it’s late and cold outside, just let me sleep over I will leave first thing tomorrow morning!” I said with more tears falling down.

“Hell no!! Now leave this minutes!” Mona said and roughly lifted me for the ground pushing me to the living room just like a criminal.

“When you throw this pest out, I would be upstairs waiting for you!” Lionel said as headed upstairs.

I turned around and looked at him one more time our eyes met and I couldn’t stop the tears he shook his head and went upstairs.

Monalisa pushed me to the gate, I couldn’t fight back as she pushed me outside the gate and locked it.

“I now have Lionel all to myself! So sad! So sad!” Mona said sticking out her tongue like a little child.

I look upstairs from the ground and I saw Lionel lining on the glass window watching us. Mona jam the gate to my face.

Why is life Crue?

Why am I always the unfortunate one huh?

I cursed the day I was born…

I thought and cried bitterly.

I only have few coins in my pocket it’s okay to stop a cab. I had no where in mind other than our old apartment.

I walked into the quiet street and waved down a cab.

“New Day! I said to the cab man who nodded and speed off.

I was just crying silently, I would rub my shooting stomach at an interval and cried the more.

“Its okay to cry ma’am! Cry for all that is gone wrong, but don’t cry for those that have left you! Cos get don’t worth it. You would move and discovered who genuinely loved you.” The elderly cab man uttered passing me a tissue paper to wh¡p off my swollen face.

I accepted it and smiled painfully at him. Few minutes later we got to our old apartment and I gave him the last coins I had with me but he shook his head in rejection.

“Its okay ma’am, I can see you’re pregnant, you need it more than I do! Just keep it and promise to be strong for your kid!” He said smiling and I nodded in appriciation cause I was so worn-out to uttered a word.

I went towards our old house as the memories of mum came flooding my head. And I cried the more, I went to the little cage where I hide the house keys and brought it out. Instantly I opened the door, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach.

I couldn’t stand it as I sat on the ground with water coming down from my legs.

Nooooooo!!!!

My baby!!

Someone please help me….!!” I scre-med my lungs out.

When the door suddenly opened and a middle aged man Walked in….

“Angel please help me am dying!” I said to the middle aged man that hurried up to me. I guess he’s an angel that came to my rescue cause we leave here all alone people seldom visit….

🌴 Mr BROWN’S POVS 🛠️

I instantly rushed in,side and saw her scre-ming in pains it instantly shattered my heart.

I went to her and was about holding her up.

But she passed out. Water was rushing down from her legs.

I took her in a bridal style and off we went to the car.

I drove speedily to the hospital and she was rolled away to the theater.

You must be wondering how I knew she was here well, I guess you gonna find out later. All that matters now is Lindy.

I Pace to and fro in the waiting room. It was 11pm in the night.

The door to the emergency room didn’t open until 4am in the morning.

I saw the nurse rolled unconscious Lindy away and my heart missed a beat.

The doctor followed behind them and I walked up to him.

“Hey Mr Man! Are you gonna make me freak out…. Out of anticipation or you gonna tell me how moi daughter is doing!!” I yelled at the doctor whom I saw fear and shock in his face.

“So sorry! Congratulations Mister! Your daughter gave birth to a stillbirth child. But the child look way stronger and more mature than some complete babies being born in a complete months.

“I wanted putting her in the incubator to enhance her development, I think there is no need for that since she can breath freely.” He said and I cachinnated in merriment.

“But the problem now is your daughter! She lost so much blood and she’s having some birth issues. Due to that she’s so substandard for now. She would be on oxygen to help her breath for now,since she developed shortage of breath.” He explained further and I became weary as my legs became heavy to carry me.

I shivered slightly….

“Doctor please! Do something, she’s the only family I have, I don’t mind paying any amount!” I uttered almost in tears.

“Dont worry! We would do our best to make her stable again, and as for the baby. She’s I’m the babies department in cruddy 2. You got to give her name for easy identification.” The doctor said and Walked away.

🦁 LIONEL’S POVS 🦁

I was sitting in my room smoking cigarettes, as I gluped down a glass of whiskey.

When Mona walked in wearing a revealing night gown. She walked up to me and wanted k-ssing me but I pushed her away slightly.

“Why are you acting cold towards me? Am I not s€×y enough to your taste! You keep avoiding me like a trash. Tell me how you want me to dress to turn you on and I would do it.” She said annoyingly.

“Just let me be huh? I am not in the mood for all these now, I have got so much to do lately. Just tell me anything you want baby! And am gonna sort it out for you.” I said and I saw her face lit up.

“Oh mine!! You actually gonna do anything for me?” She asked k-ssing my neck.

“Yes baby!! You know I love you, just say it already!” I told her and she blushed crazily.

“Actually baby! I need you to tell me the pins to your cards. And also give me some of your companies and tell me where you hide most of your relevant doc-ments.” She said rubbing my chest sweetly.

I smile stupidly and sneer at her before nodding my head in approval.

“Wow baby! You gonna do all that for me?” she asked graining so wide.

“Yes babe! We start the process from tomorrow.” I said and she jumped on me with happiness.

MONA’S POVS

I can’t believe My ears,all what I have been trying planning on having all these years is finally coming to fulfillment.

He must be a stupid man for trusting me, when I finish dealing with him he would regret the day we met.

“Baby can I go and get something from my room before coming to sleep?” I asked rubbing his chest.

He nodded and I quickly went to my room and brought out my cell phone and dialed a number instantly the person picked up.

📲 Hello honey!

📲 Monalisa?!! What’s taking you so long baby?

📲 The plans are not quite simple but trust me! I got him in my hands now , and guess what.

📲He has accepted to my request!!

📲 Wow! That’s some sorts of good news! Make sure you empty his account. Remember the life we planned to leave together just you and I.

📲 I haven’t forgotten baby! I will be back when everything is sort out. Don’t miss me too much. And make sure you take good care of our daughter Mary so well!

📲Ok babe!! I got to sleep now!

I hung the call and smiled before heading to Lionel’s room.

I came out of the surgery room, feeling brown new, my face has been worked on. I saw Mr Dominic waiting for me at the waiting room.

That old engine is so sweet huh! I thought as I smiled sweetly towards him.
