💎 Mig’s POV💎

I woke up with a yawn and my gaze went straight to the wall clock.

“6:45pm”

Whoa..time is far spent. I slept for long.
I have to go prepare dinner.
I got up from the bed and walked out of my room, heading to Fleur’s.
I opened the door to her room and peeped in.
She and Elva are both deeply asleep on the bed.

I walked in,and got to the bed.
I pecked Fleur on her cheek and smiled looking at her sleeping face.
My sis is the best in the world,i resisted the urge to pinch her cheek and run out like we always do but it seems she’s enjoying her sleep,having a sweet dream about her prince charming,the one she always told me about that she sees in her dream.

The guy who will end up getting married to Fleur will be the luckiest guy on earth… She’s my everything..like..everything i have and i promise to always protect her.
But she could be very stubborn at times.. I thought of pinching her hærd on the nose.

She mumbled and rolled over but didn’t wake.. just then my gaze went to Elva’s sleeping face.

Darn it.

I’m having that funny feeling again,my heart keep beating faster anytime I’m around Elva and i can’t even resist keeping my eyes off her anymore.. She’s looking more beautiful each passing day.

I felt a wave of jealously wash through me at the number of guys i know that keep asking her out and i felt like punching them one after the other but..

I can’t.
Why would i do that ?

My gaze rested on her l-ips…oh God.
It’s looking w-t,pink and soft as always and i felt that urge to k-ss her.

“I’m sorry i couldn’t resist” I whispered before leaning forward to place my l-ips on hers and…God, it felt heavenly..
It took some minutes before i jerked up.

What has gotten over me?
Well…what else if not Elva’s l-ips.
I stood straight and gazed at the two sleeping beauties.
I chuckled slightly at Fleur’s face..it looks like she’s fighting someone in her sleep.

“I gotta start preparing dinner” I said and walked out of the room, heading to the kitchen.
I’m gonna prepare soup..
I said as i picked an apron.

I washed my hands and dried them before i brought out the ingredients and utensils,i placed them on the kitchen cabinet and walked to the refrigerator,brought out some carrots, tomatoes and veggies.
I placed it on the kitchen cabinet together with other ingredients.

I started with the carrots,i used the scraper to peel off it’s outer part,rinsed it and placed it on the chopping board and started chopping it skillfully.
I did the same to the veggies.

I finished chopping it all and poured it in a big bowl.
I lit the gas ,placed a clean pot on it and started cooking.

Dinner is ready.

I dished it out the soup in four plates,placed them on a wide tray and walked to the dining room.
I placed each plate of soup round the table before going back for the Chinese rice,i dished it out in another four plate and carried it to the dining room.

I arranged the meal on the dining table,went back to the kitchen,took off my apron before going to call them for dinner.
I walked in,side Fleur’s room and surprisingly they were still asleep.

“Fleur,Elva” I called tapping them lightly.
They opened their eyes and sat up on the bed.
“Did you both took some sleeping pills?” I asked.
“No bro,we were tired”

“Okay dinner is ready” I said.
“Huh!” Fleur exclaimed.
“Dinner?” Elva asked with surprise.
“Yeah”
“Wow we must have slept for long” Fleur said.
“Of course it’s 7:15pm already” I said.
“Ok we’ll be at the dining room soon” Fleur said.

I walked out and knocked on Daisy’s door.
“Daisy” I called.
“Come in Miguel” She said and i entered, she’s sitting on the bed with her iPod in hand.
“Dinner is ready” I said.
“Ohh..ok,i will be right there” She said and i nodded walking out.

Fleur and Elva are already seated at the dining obviously waiting for me.
I joined them and exhaled after sitting.
“Okay..let’s start eating” Fleur said.
“Hmm.. don’t you think we should wait for Daisy ” I said.
“Yeah i don’t think so” Fleur said picking up her spoon,about to start eating.
“Fleur” I scolded and she gave me a look before dropping her spoon.

“Does she have to eat with us” I heard and turned to see Daisy. She has changed into a pair of black shorts with a white tank top,her hand occupied with her iPod.
“Who?” I asked.
“Elva of course,does she have to eat with us” Daisy repeated, pulling up a seat beside mine.
“Daisy it seems you are sick,if there is anyone who doesn’t have to eat with us then that’s you” Fleur said.

“Whatever” Daisy scoffed before sending Elva a glare.
We started eating.

“This is delicious” Elva said and i smiled.
“Thanks Elva”
“You gotta teach me this some day” She said.
“Of course, working in a hospital now doesn’t make you less of my apprentice” I said and we both laughed.

“Elva you don’t need to talk during meal especially when others are also eating around you because your disgusting saliva might just splatter over other people’s meal” Daisy said.
“Daisy mind your ruthless way of speaking” Fleur said.
“Ok Daisy, I’m sorry. I will try to remain quiet” Elva said and i raised my brow in surprise.

“Elva, what’s wrong with you?…you should give it back to her the way she wants” Fleur said.
“It’s okay Fleur,just let it be” Elva said calmly with a smile and we all resumed our meal.

Daisy stood up and walked to her room immediately we finished eating.

💎Daisy’s POV💎

I entered my room and sat on the bed.
Elva’s face looks familiar again to me,even when i had brushed it off in the afternoon thinking she just looks like someone i know but;

Do i know her?… I thought trying hærd to recollect but nothing came.
Maybe she just look like someone i know.

My first mission here is to get the golds in the secret underground passage of this house.
I don’t think Fleur or Mig knows about the underground passage not to talk of the bulks of gold in it.

I was sent here by boss…yeah.
I joined a deadly cult when i left Mig few years back, “The secret fortune hunters”. We are seven. Three females and four males including Boss.
I got initiated by my celebrity friend who sings and model and i love it.
I don’t regret joining the cult a bit.

We hunt for fortune and kill any hindrance. I don’t know how boss discovered about the secret underground passage in this house including the golds in it.
I was sent here when i told boss i knew the owners of the house so I’m the one hired to carry out the act. Boss was excited when i told him how close i was to Mig and Fleur,he said it will make the mission easier because they will allow me to have access to anywhere in the house.

So i couldn’t think of anything else to make me enter this house than lying that I have the cure.

Every damn information is on my iPod and I’ve discovered where the secret passage is. I just need a time when i will be alone in the house
I was given a week to complete my assignment and i know it won’t even be up to a week,I just have to wait till when I’m alone in the house before carrying out the mission,i can’t just wait to be so wealthy.

I’m gonna flee immediately i get hold of the golds,but i’ll surely make Elva go through hell in the meantime.
She annoys me a lot.

That aside.. I can’t wait to be so rich because i know gold costs a lot.

“Wealth..here i come” I said excitedly before laying back on the bed.
I unlocked my iPod and started chatting with boss..updating him about what’s happening.

I didn’t know when i dozed off dreaming of riches of course.

💎 Elva’s POV💎

Daisy left for her room immediately we finished eating.
“I will do the dishes” I said and started packing the empty plates.
“No Elva,your finger” Fleur said.
“Oh..” I said remembering my pinky finger is plastered and i can’t allow water touch it.

“What happened to her finger?” Mig asked.
“She accidentally cut her pinky finger while preparing Daisy’s meal” Fleur said.
“Really?” He asked and i nodded.
“Sorry” He said worriedly.
“Thanks Mig”
“Let me have a look” He said and i stretched out my pinky finger to him.

I was surprised when he brought it closer to his mouth and placed his l-ips on it.
I nearly shivered.
Fleur smiled,i blushed and Mig grinned.
“My k-ss is magical,it will make your pinky finger heal faster” He said and we laughed.
“Fleur do the dishes,Elva and i will be at the library..Elva come i gat a new novel” He said pulling me along and i gladly followed him.

“Novel freaks” Fleur shouted after us and we giggled.
He opened the door of the library and we stepped in closing the door behind us.
I sat on the stool and Mig stood in front of me, staring directly into my eyes.

“So..where is the novel?” I asked, feeling nervous with the way he’s staring at me.
“Hmm” He said scratching his hair..”to be sincere,i don’t have a new novel” He said and i w¡den my eyes.
“So you just made me excited for nothing” I said with a playful glare.

“I thought you needed some punishment for not telling me first that you hurt your finger” He said and i laughed.
“Serves you right” He said playfully sticking out his tongue.

“Ohh…you need some spanking” I said standing up,i picked up a small rod from the shelf and hit him playfully on his shoulder.
“Ouch” He cried out.
“Does it hurt?” I asked knowing i didn’t hit him hærd.
“Yes” he said.
“OMG sorry” I said but then i saw him biting his lower lip,the only time he does that is when he’s trying to hold his laugher and i immediately knew he was lying.

“Liar!” I exclaimed hitting him again.
“Ouch” He cried out again.
“Lies it doesn’t hurt” I said about to hit him again when i saw that he has flew to the other part of the library.
I went after him, trying to hit him again but he keeps dodging till we both fell on the floor, laughing hærd.

“Let’s go to the lake” He said standing up.
I also stood up,placed my palm in his… Together we walked out of the house heading to the lake.

We got there and the sight is more beautiful at night.
The moon reflect brightly in the lake making the water sparkle.
We sat beside eacthother on the sand with our legs dangling in the cool water .

“Elva” Mig called.
“Uh” I answered.
“I once loved Daisy” He suddenly said and i sighed.
“Yeah” I said staring at the water.
“I thought i will keep loving her but i was wrong,i don’t feel the tingling anymore whenever she’s around me and you know what?..I’m glad to have gotten over her,the arrow of my heart is now pointing to someone else.” He said.

“Really?” I asked, almost wishing the person can be me.
“Yeah..I’m still trying to figure out my feelings” He said and i nodded turning to look at him,he was still staring at the water not aware that I’ve turned.

The moon light shone brightly on his thick black hair making it glitter,i resisted the urge to to dip my hand into his soft looking hair.
He suddenly turned and caught me staring at him.
I turned to look back at the water,a bit embarrassed.

“Com’on face me” He said and i turned to face him. His long lashes blinked at me..God..I hope I’ve not started drooling.
We stared at each other in silence.
“Let’s lay on the sand” I said lowering my back into the sand.
Mig also did the same. Our legs,still in the water.
The night breeze blew softly.

“Fleur told me you are good at singing. Will you please sing for me” Mig said.
“Hmm…I’m not very good so don’t expect the best but i will try” I said shyly.
“Okay, go on” He said stroking my hair.

During the last few days,i found myself composing songs,i have a special desire for music and i always think it’s related to my past .

I cleared my throat and began;

🎶There is a feeling greater than love and that’s what i feel for you.

🎶I wish to be with you with all my heart.

🎶I realised that as long as I’m by your side,

🎶Even my worst nightmare turns to my best.

🎶If only i can be by your side forever.

🎶….

I continued with my eyes closed and felt Mig’s finger stroking my hair.
The song got intense and flowed more fluently from my mouth.
I can swear my voice sounds perfect at this moment.

I finished singing and opened my eyes to meet Mig’s eyes on me, surprised.
“Wow! Speechless. Your voice is amazing” Mig said and i blushed a little.
“Yeah but not as amazing as the voice i always hear when we get home” I said and his face suddenly changed.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Nothing I’m just still surprised you can sing this well.
Were you some kind of musician or what?” He asked.
“Well how would i know” I said and a tear dropped from my eyes.

I should be able to remember a thing.
Would my parents be worried ?
What of my siblings?…Do i have siblings?
I kept thinking crying silently, not wanting Mig to know that I’m in tears.

My head started aching and i know it’s because I’m forcing myself to remember my past which Fleur had warned me about but i just can’t help it.
“Elva why are you crying?” Mig asked using his thumb to wipe away my tears.
“Why can’t i just remember a thing?..it hurts” I cried louder.

“It’s okay Elva,i perfectly understand..just give it a little time,then your memories would come back ” He said in a comforting way and i felt relieved, he knelt over me.

“Thanks Mig”
“It’s okay Elva” He said.
He shifted to go to laying beside me but i held him back looking into his eyes.
I know once he goes back to that position. The warmth I’m feeling right now will reduce,my heart will stop beating this crazily faster and i seem to want my heart to beat for him forever.

I felt his breath on my neck and jolted back,his face already close to mine, our l-ips are few inches apart.
