The next day at school, I was going through my literary text book bitting the cover of my pen like someone who is trying to solve a puzzle.
“I plan on visiting Josh at home today do you want to come”Amy asks me and I raise my brow a little.
“When do you start seeing Josh and why are you concerned about him”I asks and she just scoff.
“Everyone went and we are left alone so it would be better if we aren’t the jerk they call us”She explained and I sigh in frustration.
“After school?”I asks.
“Sure”She replied and I return a smile.
“Open your textbook and let start Concept five”the teacher walk in and started lecture immediately.
I can’t blame her we are behind in our curriculum and it always frustrate teacher when things like that happens.
After Class I was waiting for Amy at the park, I offered to drive us there without informing Noah.
He would overreact even hearing Josh name not to talk of going to his house.
“Am sorry for been late”Amy apologise and I enter the car and I drive off to Josh house in no time.
I pack in the front of his house and I stare around reminding me of the time we came here together for hangout.
I don’t know why Josh suddenly Change overnight I have a feeling Noah as something to do with it but he deny it saying he wasn’t against Josh then.
I alighted and we started walking into the house. We ring the doorbell twice before Josh mom Open the door.
“Avelyn”She pull me into a hug.
Josh mom, Melissa knows about our relationsh¡p. With the way she welcome me am definitely sure Josh didn’t tell her we broke up.
“How have you been”She open the door properly for us to come in.
“You must be here to see Josh”She said and I nod still amuse about the wh0le thing.
“You are…..”she pointed at Amy.
“Amy she is my best friend”I replied for her and she flash me a smile.
“He is upstairs properly taking a nap, I will go make something for you”I bow and she walk away.
“Don’t tell me Josh didn’t tell her you guys broke up”Amy whispered.
“How do you expect me to know”I replied and walk upstairs with Amy following me.
I knock on his door…….”Come in Mom”he replied and I smile because it had happen before when I came and he think am his mom and started talking about weird things.
“Why are you smiling”Amy asks and I quickly frown. I open the door only to reveal Josh operating his phone and his eye w¡dened immediately he saw us.
“Avelyn”he tried to sit up so I rush to his side and help him up a bit.
“Hi Amy”he greet Amy who already find herself a sit while I had no choice but to sit there and support the weak Josh.
“Is anything up”he asks still looking from me to Amy.
“Hey young man stop feeling on top of the world we only came here to see how you fair in health”Amy roll her eye and I chuckled.
“Thank you”he replied.
“You are welcome”she replied quick and I just watch the two.
“Are your leg still hurting”I asks showing some concerned.
“No just a little bit”he replied and I nod.
Before I knew it Josh, Amy and I already in a deep conversation that we either argue, laugh or end up been both right.
Melissa cookies and orange Juice were helpful before we finally call it a day and went home after a promise to come visit again.
Josh really changed no doubt about it again but hus words aboutNate is using me over him kept ringing in my head. is it true?.

I drive Amy home before heading home, all thank to God. Noah is out with his girlfriend before my phone beeped.
📲Can we meet tonight? *Why is Nate texting*
He is leaving tomorrow dummy!! my subconscious yelled at me.
📲Sure at the cafe, I will be there by 8:00
(I texted back and he replied immediately)
📲 Thanks, I will be there too
I drop my phone on the night stand and shower before changing into something casual and went downstairs to prepare dinner for Naoh and I.
He might come with his girlfriend today so I might prepare extra meal. They come home together most time but She has never spend the night here.
I gasped at my thoughts……No s*x relationsh¡p, I giggled. Noah is so f**ked up.
“And why am I so f**ked up”I heard his voice and I flinched.
“You scared me”I yelled at him.
“You keep talking about me”he went to the freeze and get a can of drink with alcohol definitely and gulp it down.
*Something is wrong*
“What happened”I rest my butt on the cabinet and face him.
“Nothing”he replied and drink again.
“Your face is…..”he interrupted me.
“We broke up”I gasped.
“I thought you guys are into each other seriously”I walk close to him and pull him into a hug. Even though Noah is a jerk, is still my brother and he never cry because of a break up so this is so f**ked up.
“I messed up”he tightened his grip on me and I could do is Pat his shoulder
