They looked so free and this is the first
time I have ever seen them so relaxed.
I turned toward Samantha and we girls talked amongst ourselves as we ate. We
tried bringing Zoey into the conversation but my mind seemed far away. She had been quiet since we got to Italy, even when I asked if she was okay. And as usual she said yes, but I knew something was bothering her and it wasn’t just about the problem she had with Sin’s brother Alexander.

After dinner, Sin and I went back to the
bedroom, tired and ready to sleep. I watched as he changed into his pajama’s bottom, admiring his sculpture body.
” It has just been an hour and I am already starting to like it, yeah.” I smiled.
”it’s good amore and if you are up to it.
We could tour the city and I can show you the fun place of Venice.”He finished
putting on his pajama bottoms.
I squealed at his words. “I would love that.” I replied smiling.
Sin walked to the bed, his chest bare as he laid on it. He pulled him close to his
warm body withe duvet secured on top of our body.
“What time are we going to your family
place. “i asked as a yawn escape my l-ips.

has this policy of everyone being early
for dinner, that’s why we always arrive an hour early” he explained, his face resting at the crook of my neck.

when you call me Sin” he whined, playing with the strain of my hair. Right now, he didn’t look like a mafia leader.

” Why do you want other people calling you Sin.”
He didn’t reply and I thought he had fallen asleep. “Nikolai.”

I woke up with the sunlight almost blinding me, I wasn’t feeling good. I don’t recall eating anything bad yesterday, maybe last night’s dinner didn’t digest well because I definitely wasn’t feeling good this morning. I turned around to look for Sin but found his side of the bed empty. I
placed my hand on the side he had laid and it felt cold. Checking my phone clock, I realized it’s almost 9:30am. I can’t believe I overslept, I must be really tired.
I sit up, only to feel nausea. I quickly got up and ran to the bathroom. After five
minutes of dry heaving, I got up to brush my teeth, slagging and putting my entire weight on the sink. I felt weak and didn’t have the energy to stand so I opted for a bath instead of a shower.
I stepped into the gengantic Jacuzzi and laid, resting my back with my eyes closed. I didn’t know how long I stayed there but after I felt the water turning cold, I stepped out and quickly towelled. I got dressed and fixed the bed before walking out of the room.
I wasn’t really familiar with the place since it was only yesterday that I got here but I was sure I knew where the kitchen was and I was starving. I walked in to Sarah and the girls chatting,sitting and laughing away., well Sarah the young maid and Samantha but Zoey seemed to be more immense with her phone
“Good morning.” I say in general to all of them and they responded almost together with their own greetings.
“How are you (my child)” Sarah had a
motherly smile on her face when she looked at me.
” I’m good, thank you.”
“I made breakfast for you but wasn’t sure when you would wake up so I left it in the oven.” She walked over to where she kept my food, taking it out and placing it in front of me on the table.
I took a seat and smiled at her In gratitude then immediately started eating like i haven’t eaten in days
“This is really great Sarah. ” I smiled and continued to eat, it tasted Devine. I’m glad you love it.”
“Slow down Mani, the food isn’t running
away. You are eating Iike you didn’t have
dinner last night. ” Samantha says, while they all look at me. As much as I wouId love to talk to them, the food was important. So instead | look at them from
under my lashes and just grunt, going back to eating.
“I’m just starving” I say to Samantha.
” Are you okay, you kind of look pale.” This time it was Zoey who spoke, she looked concerned. The same expression when Sin walked in,side the Kitchen as if he was looking for me and sighs when his
eyes landed on mine. He walks to me with a smile on his face and k-sses the top of my head.
“how are you feeling?” he asked.
“I’m okay, still a little bit nauseous but okay” I reassured him, I didn’t want him to be worried.
“Let me call the doctor, just to be sure.
Sin brings out his phone from his pocket, ready to dial and call their family doctor but I stopped him.
” It’s okay, you don’t need to trouble any
one because of a minor nauseousness.” I tried reasoning with him.
“It’s not a problem, we pay him to take
care of anyone in the family, it’s his job. Sin counters back, referring to the doctor.
“Let’s do this, why don’t we wait until tomorrow. If it persists then you can call him. ” I bargained. Sin scanned my face trying to see if I was really okay or not.
“please..”
“Fine, but I’m calling him if you aren’t okay by tomorrow” he says sternly leaving no room for argument and I nod in response.
“I will be in my office if you need me.” Sin l-ips landed on mine in a quick k-ss before walking away.
I heard the cheering of the throat, I totally forgot they were still here. They all had a smile on their face and Samantha was wiggling her eyebrows, making a blush to creep up my face.
“What.. ” I asked innocently, pretending not to know the reason for their teasing behavior.
“you have got him wrapped around your little finger, that guy is so wh¡pped” Samantha commented and the rest nodded in agreement.
I blush some more. “I doubt that.”
“I have known Sin since he was a baby
and I have never seen him look at any girl the way he looks at you. ” Sarah says,
backing Samantha up.
“and how does he look at me?” I wanted to know.
“like you are his world. ” Sarah walks up to me, taking my hand in hers ” I’m so glad you are in Sin’s life, he has really changed and he smiles more. I know being in the mafia family comes with a lot of danger but I hope you never leave him.
I could see how much she cared for him
she really considered Sin as her son a
nd it touched my heart. “I won’t, I promise ” she smiled, then pulled me in for a hug. Tapping gently on my back before pulling away.
I need to go back upstairs, I have arranged my things yet.” I say to them, trying to excuse myself.
“You don’t need to-do that. Sofie can heIp you”. Samantha pointed to the young
girl beside her.
” no, there is no need” I quickly declined.I don’t want to disturb their fun, and I
also wanted to be alone. “Besides, I need to find a dress for tonight.”
“I can help you if you aren’t comfortable with Sofie.” Samantha offered, she really is as stubborn as me.
“I can handle It myself, instead why don’t you show me around the house so that I can get familiar with things.” I said, directing my question to Sofie, in which she gladly accepted.
I gave them one final nod then returned
back to my room. I sat here for quite some time, arranging my clothes at the same time looking for what to wear. Sin clothes were already arranged, he didn’t really carry much since he had clothes here before.
After I was finally done, I went into the bathroom to wash my hands. I laid on the
bed going through my phone but was interrupted by the sound of a knock on the door.
“ma’am ma’am ” I heard a soft voice calI out and I slowly got out of the bed, steading myself so I wouldn’t end up fainting.I opened the door, giving her a smile.
“Call me Mani please.”
“but.. “Sofie says nervously.
“I insist.”
” Sure Mani.” she smiles. “I came to give you the tour, I wasn’t sure if you were done yet or not.
“Oh yeah, it hasn’t been long since I finished tidying up my clothes.”
”Would you like the tour now?” she asked meekly.

Sofie held my hand, dragging me from room to room, explaining who they belonged to along with the history of the house. She showed me the library because
Zoey told her I loved reading, then the pool and garden in case I wanted to relax. I was also shown the theater room, which was very big and Sin office. It took an hour and thirty minutes to finally tour the wh0le house. Making me hungry again.
After lunch, I remained in the room. I took my phone, texting Stephanie. I stll needed to ask Sin about the Luca guy, Stephanie was hanging out with. I replied
to every message from aunt Sara and Stephanie. I decided to take a nap.
I woke up around 5pm and went to shower so that I could get ready on time for dinner.I really wanted to explore Italy, I
plan on asking Sin to show me around tomorrow. We could go sightseeing and
window shopping , it will be fun.
I continued showering till I felt a strong
