Lee dressed herself up extra pretty today because of Jonathan, she was getting very excited because of him. He k-ssed her, she thinks k-ssing makes any difference? It doesn’t, not one difference. He can still change because boys are evil; men are evil. I drove into the parking lot, someone parked in my s₱0t, the s₱0t reserved for me. What the hell! I quickly parked in another s₱0t and got out of the car angrily, there was a sign there that states it belongs to me. It’s not like it is necessary but I just love that s₱0t.
‘Hailey, calm down,’ Lee said pleadingly.
‘Who in the f-cking world parked their car in my s₱0t!’ I shouted angrily, everyone in the parking lot were already expecting it as they were looking at me.
‘Who else than that know it all Violet,’ Babianca, one of the cheerleaders said irritably, rolling her artificial coral eyes.
‘Isn’t she aware that this s₱0t right here belongs to me?! The special place I begged everyone to leave for me?! I repeat, I begged!’
‘But you didn’t beg me,’ and there is the nasty witch herself. I whirled to my side to face her, she had her hands folded. ‘You begged them, not me.’ She twinkled her lashes innocently.
‘Violet you have been looking for my trouble since you got here, finding a way to provoke me to violent. Two days ago, you laid a complain that I be removed as captain of the cheer squad and president of the school, you also wrote so many nasty reasons why but the board rejected it, I let it go because I don’t…’
‘Please stop nagging, you didn’t buy the land, just because your mother owns the school doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want. I parked my car there, deal with it.’
‘Violet, are you alright? Who are you talking to, my sister?’ Lee sneered.
‘Yes, her, or do you want me to direct it to you?’ She asked jestingly. ‘After all, you don’t have the mental stability to comprehend that…’
My head swelled as that angry purse I know starts rushing along my veins, my bitter anger was coming, one that always made me do things I don’t know, like I would get possess by a spirit and the voice in my head control me. I clenched my fists, twisting my neck around as I put on a twisted menacing smile. No one gets to insult Lee but me.
‘Leave it Hailey,’ Lee grinned, nodding her head. I knew that nod very well, she did it to avoid me getting angry. I stepped back, everyone did because they know her. Lee surprisingly walked to my car, humming a song.
‘What is wrong with you Violet?’ She walked closer to me, standings right in my face.

‘I didn’t travel all the way from Netherland to be a puppet under someone, to worsh¡p someone, no, I didn’t. Now listen to me Hailey, you better drop that crown of yours before it kills you, you can never know when something unexpected would happen.’ She threatened in a whisper.
I chuckled darkly ‘Violet, my sweet sweet Violet,’ I tapped her cheek. ‘You are more foolish than I thought.’
‘You see Violet,’ Lee said all of a sudden. ‘I came to school very happy today, jubilating in joy,’ she was holding a crowbar. ‘But you ruined it by insulting me and I hate it when that happens,’
‘What do you think you are doing?’ Violet flared.
‘This,’ Lee smashed the window of Violet’s car. Violet scre-med. How smiled as she yelled at Lee to stop but Lee kept smashing everything until the car was badly damaged.
‘My birthday gift,’ Lee walked closer to Violet who was crying as she sat on her knees. She squatted down with her crazy smirk.
‘You see that toy you are driving? I can buy ten of it and I don’t even need to use my parents’ money, just mine. Do you think you can walk in here and try to kick us out of what we built? Take over? Many people here are wealthier than you but they don’t show off, they don’t try to play queen, they humble themselves. Now listen to me Violet,’ she grabbed Violet’s chin roughly. ‘If you want to stay in this school, stay, throw yourself at my brother, don’t care. But the moment you dare cross my path or my sister’s, dare challenge us again, I will personally show you why my last name is Lee Kendrick… And yes, do pray that you don’t make Hailey mad again, you won’t like what will happen.’
‘I can sue you for assault!’
‘Assault!’ I shouted and laughed. ‘You can sue us? That is so precious,’ I laughed. I frowned immediately and sneered. ‘Go, sue us and let’s see where that ends you. When you want to fight with a lion, make sure you have bigger claws than it do.’
‘Tell her sis,’
‘Let her go Lee,’ Hans sighed. Violet increased her crying, so typical. ‘Did you have to smash her car?’
‘I will smash her head if I have to.’
‘Let her go Lee,’ Hans snapped. Lee stood up, glaring at him. ‘Now you are going to repay her by buying a car twice as expensive as this one…’
‘What!’ Everyone exclaimed.
‘Hans, are you being serious here?’ I asked incredulous.
‘I am damn serious,’
‘I will never buy her a car, over my dead body…’
‘Lee,’ Hans growled warningly, grinding his teeth in anger. I was so shocked my anger subsided.
‘Hans, you are talking to Hadley, not someone else,’ I said quizzically.
‘And so f-cking what! You let your sister smash the poor girl’s car because she parked in your s₱0t?!’
‘Hans, you know I love…’
‘Not another word,’ he snapped. I flinched, Hans was angry because of her? My anger was now replaced with shock, incredulity and fear. ‘Now the two of you will get the money, buy her the car and a gift as apology.’
‘But…’
‘What did I say?’ He asked threateningly.
‘Okay,’ Lee sobbed. ‘You want a car, I’ll get it,’ she threw the crowbar away and ran out, heading out of the school. I watched with mouth open as he helped her up delicately while she pretended.
‘Are you okay Violet?’
‘I’m fine, she didn’t hurt me much,’ Violet said with feign fear. She cried again and held him tight, am I the only one who thinks I’m stuck in a nightmare! ‘They almost hit me, I was so scared.’
‘I’m sorry, they are like that sometimes,’ he looked at me, glaring angrily. ‘From now on, she will be parking there, get rid of what you have destroyed, kapish?’ I nodded. ‘Good, come Violet.’ Violet maliciously winked at me before Hans carried her on his back.
Oh jaw, where has thy gone?
‘Am I in a dream?’ Silvia asked.
‘A dream that just turned into a nightmare,’ I said ghostly. Iris, where are you?

Today have been ruined!
Hans did that to me, why? What did I do to him? He would normally hug me until I calmed down, hugged Hailey and k-ssed her forehead. Hans had always been the cool tempered one, the water that quenches our fire. Hailey was a hot headed one, easily angered and bad at controlling it. I only get angry when she gets angry, like her serious anger. I… Hans never snapped at us for someone else, that was harsh and humiliating. I sniffed and wiped my nose, I ran all the way to Johnny’s special fountain, hope he won’t mind? It had been my special place too since he showed me. I sat on the fountain, staring at the water as it riffled and gurgled.
‘Had a feeling I would find you here,’ I didn’t bother looking at him, I was depressed. He sat down facing me and took my hand. ‘Hadley, don’t feel bad about what Hans did,’
‘Why wouldn’t I? My own brother humiliated me because of a witch,’ I cried. ‘Something he has never done before.’
‘Maybe he has a reason, the Hans I know always have a reason,’ I averted my eyes from the water to him. ‘That doesn’t sound like what Hans would do but honestly, that isn’t even the Hans I know, still him but different. Ever since Ivan betrayed him, he have changed, really changed. What I know however is that Hans has a reason for everything so trust that he will explain later, okay?’
‘You sure I’m not losing my brother?’
‘I am 98% sure you aren’t,’ he smiled. He used his other hand to playfully hold my chin. ‘Now, smile for me and stop crying.’
‘And I have to buy her a car?’
‘If it would make you feel better, I will handle the car,’
‘I won’t let you spend on her,’
‘Don’t worry about it,’ he pinched my nose. ‘Smile,’
‘Why did you k-ss me yesterday? Last night?’
‘I like you, that’s why,’ he said smilingly, like it was a easy thing to say.
‘You do?’
‘Yes, I do. You don’t feel the same way?’ I laughed and jumped on him, wrong move, we both fell into the fountain. I gasped as I sprout out, laughing at every gasp. The water was so cold.
‘Sorry, I got excited,’ I said sheepishly.
‘Is that a yes?’
‘Yes? Like let’s date yes?’ He nodded. I stroke my chin playfully. ‘Depends on how good of a k-sser you are,’
‘Let me prove it then,’ he smirked. Taking my hand, he pulled me to my feet and wrapped his hands on my wa-ist around. ‘Remember to k-ss back.’ With that said, he crashed his l-ips on mine, the force pushing me back a little. I k-ssed him back with much delight, giving him access to my mouth. His tongue was like ice cream, all the flavors in the world dwelled in his tongue, it was ice cream paradise.
I clung to his neck, holding it so he won’t draw back. His hands on my wa-ist lowered to the top of my ass, his fingers rubbing circles. I mo-ned into his mouth, that little action was making my inner system heat up. I pressed my chest further into his chest, running my hands into his hair. The k-ss got more intense, transfered to a hot French k-ss, we were making out in a fountain.
‘You two! Get out of the fountain!’

I sat in the gym, staring at my feet. I spent half my day working out when others were in class, Hans and Richie are idiots. I sighed, swinging the water bottle in my hands. Why wasn’t everything working well for me?
‘Psycho!’ I rolled my eyes to Jet. Whenever I was sad, he was always there, always appeared like my comfort god, pretty sweet of him. Jet was my friend before Richie came along, I never neglected him and that made Richie and I fight a lot because Richie don’t like him.
‘Hi Jet,’ I said sadly.
‘You are sad,’ he plopped himself beside me. ‘Hans?’
‘Yeah, and Richie, I can’t believe he could hide such an important secret from me.’
‘Is that what is bothering you, or the fact that he has a babe?’
‘Both,’ I chuckled. He nudged me with his body. ‘I just feel disappointed, not heartbroken, just disappointment.’
‘Like I predicted you would be,’ he said proudly, dusting his shoulder. I laughed and nudged him back.
‘I feel empty,’
‘I know, I do feel that, I have felt that for three years of my life.’
‘Really?’ I looked at him quizzically. ‘How so?’
‘I have been in love with a girl for years, she loves me, but she don’t know she does. That girl have been in love with me but confuses her admiration for another guy as love, she doesn’t love him but she believes she do.’
‘Wow, have you tried talking to her about it?’
‘No, I’m afraid I’ll ruin our friendsh¡p. I love her too much to lose her. Being her friend is good enough,’
‘How do you know she loves you?’
‘I have natural psychologism, I took my time to study her and she drunkenly confirmed it. She was so drunk that till today, she doesn’t remember the night she confessed her feelings to me and sed-ced me, we had s€× all-night…’ He smiled at the memory, looking into space. I frowned, jealousy taking over again. I don’t know why but I get very jealous when I see Jet with another girl or hear him talk of them. With Richie, I can tolerate, but Jet’s makes me explode.
That’s true, why haven’t I thought about this?
‘Why don’t she know? Is she stupid and clueless? How close are you two? More than we are? Why did you sleep with a drunken girl? Why didn’t you tell her? Jet that was cruel and was she even good enough?’ I bombarded him with jealous questions. He laughed and shook his head.
‘You are so clueless Hailey,’ she shook his head again. ‘She is a confuse girl, that’s why she don’t know. Yes, she is clueless, we are very close, as close as we are and I slept with her because I couldn’t control myself and she sed-ced me. Was she good enough?’ He ran his fingers through his hair with a big grin. ‘Damn! She is the best! It was like she was made for me, made to know exactly what to do to push my ho-ny button. It was the best s€× in my entire life and I wish I can get it everyday, have her with me most nights…’
First Richie, then Hans and now Jet. I have lost all the guys I hold dear. What else? Phoenix?!
‘Just tell her how you feel and be happy while other people wallow because of rejection,’ I sobbed. I wiped my fears furiously. ‘Get lost Jet, I want to be alone.’
‘Hailey, you still can’t see it,’ he said pitifully.
‘See what? How everyone is abandoning me for another woman? Oh wow, so great but you know what?! I don’t f-cking care! All of you can go f-ck a cow because I don’t freakin’ care!’ I stood up and stomped to the door, such insult.
‘Hailey, don’t you wanna know who she is?’

‘She has a sister and two brothers, one born the same day with her, her sister also. Her younger brother is a flirt, her sister a wacko and she is the queen of the house…’ I froze as he placed his two hands on my shoulders. ‘She is my very close friend, my confider, the idiot that makes me smile all the time…’ He leaned his chin on my head. ‘And the woman who knows how to waste my money…’ My eyes had w¡dened, that was me. ‘Her name is Hailey Piper Kendrick,’

‘I love you Hailey, always have, always will. I know you know that deep down, I am the one you love, the one who loves you for who you are. Hailey, I am not going to rush you, I won’t urge you but I want you to think about ten reasons why you love Richie and ten why you react the way you do around me, it will make your decision making easier. When you are ready, I am here but even if you don’t accept me, I will still be here as a friend.’
‘I…I…I…’ Why was I paralyzed?

I turned sharply with wide eyes. ‘We had s€×?!’

‘Is that all you have to say?’ He shrugged. ‘Stay away from me,’ I turned to leave but he caught my forearm and smiled. ‘What?’ I snapped.
‘To make you decide,’ I yelped when he abruptly pulled me into his chest and k-ssed me. My stomach’s zoo opened, all the animals ran out, my head shooting fireworks and heart beating faster. Never have I felt so glad to be k-ssed, it was mysteriously desirable.
For years I did wonder how it would be like to k-ss him, and now it was happening, right in the gym. Not wasting anymore time, I k-ssed him back with much zeal as he was to me. After calming myself down in the bathroom, I walked out to go see mom, I need advice. She wasn’t in the office so I had to return to class. The hallway was empty, voices of students in their classrooms echoing. My heels clicked against the marbled floor, the sound echoing through the hallways and back to my ears. I was thinking about the k-ss, only about the k-ss.
It was amazing and I needed more than that.
‘Hailey!’ I gro-ned, he had to ruin it. I didn’t stop walking, I continued sauntering to my class. He ran up to me, blocked my way as he p-nted. ‘Hi,’

‘Look Hailey, stop acting so immature, I said I’m sorry, okay? I know you are mad because you like me…’ My heart skipped. ‘But you don’t have to take your jealousy this far…’
‘Like you?’ I sneered. ‘Who gave you that idea?’
‘You don’t really know how to hide your obsession with someone,’ so arrogant.
‘If that is what you believe, then whatever, I don’t care.’
‘You like me Hailey and I do too but I just didn’t tell you because of your character, you are too bossy and demanding, rude and…’
‘Yet there is someone who loves me for me, who adores me even with my nasty character. You are just a confuse idiot, one that I will never love, ever.’
Is that true?
He scoffed. ‘You think so?’
‘I know so,’ and just like Jet, he pulled me to his chest and k-ssed me. There was no butterfly in my stomach, no fireworks or sparks. The only thing I thought of was my precious memories with Jet and him alone.
Wow, I really do love him. How did I not know this?
I pushed Richie away and gave him a ferocious backhanded slap. ‘Don’t you ever k-ss me again,’ I wiped my mouth and spat on him. ‘Stinky filth.’ I pushed the stunned boy out of my way and stomped out, not to my class but Hans, I need him. I barged into his class, he was talking to that witch again.
‘Hailey…’
‘Come with me, now,’ I commanded. I was frustrated, angry, confuse and bitter, my mad anger was back.
‘I’m busy,’ he said plainly. I growled, twisting my neck again.
‘Hans, I am not joking this time, I’m depress!’ He raised his hands in surrender.
‘Gotta go Violet,’ Violet did something to shock the class, not me. She cupped his face and k-ssed him. Everyone gasped, especially when he k-ssed her back.
‘Don’t f-ck with me Hans!’ I yelled, slamming my fist on the wall. Hans broke the k-ss immediately. I glared at him, I was breathing like an angry bull. ‘Follow.’ I stomped out, stomping off to where my feet carried me.
How could he?! What about Iris!
‘Hailey calm down!’ He shouted as I continued stomping, I found myself back at the cheerleaders’ gym. How did I get here so fast? ‘What’s wrong?’ I whirled around fast and smacked his face, slapping him so hærd he fell.
‘How dare you! How dare you humiliate Lee and I?! How dare you choose a woman over us?! How dare you k-ss her when Iris is out there somewhere fighting for herself?! How dare you not be there when I’m confuse! I’m so confuse Hans, very confuse.’ I plopped on the in a crisscross position and wept.
‘I’m sorry, I’m trying to make Violet trust me to get the information Iris sent me,’
‘Iris?’
‘Violet is her older twin,’
‘Knew it,’ I murmured. They was something familiar about her. ‘So you don’t hate us?’
‘Never, I should have told you both though, I’m sorry.’
‘Jet and Richie k-ssed me, I don’t understand how I could be in love with Jet and mistake it for Richie, I’m confuse.’ I cried.
‘You mistook your admiration for love and refused to accept Jet because he is the least of the guy in your perfect man list. Richie suit in by appearance, the one you fantasize about, but Jet suit in to the character and vibe. You don’t have any vibe with Richie but because he is the exact description of the man in your head, you misunderstood everything.’ Hans explained.
‘What do I do now?’
‘What do you want to do? Other than slap me?’ He asked jokingly.
‘I’m sorry, does it hurt?’ I crawled over to him.
‘Deserved,’ his cheek had a cut, I hurt him. ‘What would you do?’
‘Find Jet and k-ss him again,’
‘That’s the spirit!’ I blushed and buried my head in his chest. ‘It’s going to be okay Hailey, I promise.’
‘Thank you,’
‘Anything for my commando,’ I punched his chest lightly. The burden in my heart was removed, I was okay again. ‘Hailey,’ he said softly.
‘What?’
‘I made a mistake last night in my car,’
‘What did you do?’
‘I was tipsy and thinking of Iris,’ he paused, his body tensing up with anxiety. ‘I don’t think she will forgive me.’ I raised my head and looked into his glassy eyes.
‘What did you do?’
‘I slept with Violet,’
‘F-cking what!!!’ Lee and I shouted.

The power of a woman, just one sed-ction to the half drunk guy and he fell, hump me in his car. I always knew I had the power to control any guy that slept with me, but Hans’ was surprising, he is allover me already. Although he mo-ned “unicorn” it still worked to my favor.
