I prepared the table and walked to my room when I heard my name, I gro-ned softly and walked to The dining table.
“D…..sir, You called me” I muttered and bowed a little.
“You ain’t eating? What’s wrong?” He asked,obviously concerned.
“I’m gonna eat,when I am ready sir” I replied.
“Oh okay and stop with this sir of a thing”He said and I smiled a little.
“Why? You’re my boss anyways. ” I replied,uninterestedly.
“Yeah, I know but,we …….”
“Let’s put everything behind us sir” I interrupted him.
“Nikita…… I know you’re giving me this attitude because of what happened yesterday. I….. ”
“What happened yesterday? Sir, let everything slide. Thank you sir ” I said and bowed a little then took a turn.
“And……. I need a maid outfit. I am a maid,don’t you think I should be in a maid outfit” I said.
“But you said you didn’t want it” he said, Bitterly.
“Sir, I want it now. I’m gonna do my work diligently now,NO STRING ATTACHED” I said softly.
“F-ck!” I heard him gro-ned.

I sat quietly in my office,thinking about what happened earliar today.
‘I don’t like how this is going’
I whispered softly.
Pius and Jasper trailed in and I hissed softly.
“Hey man” Pius hit me playfully and sat on the couch while Jasper sat in the dining.
“How you doing Dominic? What’s wrong man?” Jasper asked from afar and I hissed again.
“Dominic?” Pius whispered softly.
“What is it!? Can’t I be at peace again??” I half yelled
“Oh? Oh oh?” Jasper said,obviously shocked.
“Wh…..” Pius was interrupted by the Door which creaked open.
“Can’t you knock?” I stared hærd at the assisting manager and another famale staff.
“Sir,I came to tell you something” Mark, the assisting manager said.
“And can’t you wait till the meeting?” I queried.
“Sir, ,The Italian dress you ordered has been tampered with. Brenda spilled juice on it”
Mark said and I furrowed my brow.
“Who is Brenda?” I asked.
“It’s Me sir. It was a mistake sir,Please forgive me” The lady cried,on her kneel.
*”That cloth can buy your entirely family,you know ” I whispered, in a rage. *
“Y…yes sir” She muttered.
“And you dare Tamper with it! You know what? You’re fired! ” I yelled and Pius gasped loudly.
“Sir please,I have a sick mother. Please” She cried helplessly.
“Did you think about her before spoiling a cloth!?” I yelled.
“Please sir, her life is in danger, I still need some money to sort her bill. This work is my only means of saving her life. Please” She cried, pulling my leg.
I looked down at her and was filled with pity , How I wish I have my mother😢
*”Fine….. but you’re suspended for two weeks,You all need to take your work seriousy. Calculate how much your mother’s treatment is gonna cost then tell me. I’m gonna foot her bill. ” I said and she cried h-rder. *
“Thank you soooo much sir,T…..”
“Please leave” i half yelled.
She smiled and rushed out.
*”Wow! That was amazing!! You’ve really changed” Pius exclaimed. *
“Yeah,all thanks to our s€×y maid” Jasper said and I rolled my eyes inwardly.
“Nikita told me She loves me” I said bluntly and they gasped.
“What!? Really? So what was your reply ” Jasper asked hurriedly.
“I told her…… I do not love her and i can’t ” I replied and the next thing was a hot resounding slap on my face.
Pius had slapped me.
“We know you’re an idiot! Never knew you could be so dumb too! Pius yelled at me.
“You really disappointed me!” Jasper added.
Pius took his car key from my table and walked outside while Jasper followed suit.
“Guys!” I called them but they didn’t even take a look at me.

I threw my face away at the sight of Pius and Jasper .
“What are you guys doing here?” I asked
“See Nikita, we’re so so sorry. Please” Pius said and I shook my head sadly while we settled on the couch.
“It’s okay” I said bluntly.
“Do you wanna give up on him?” Pius asked.
I shook my head as tears laced in my eyes.
“No. But i think I should” I replied.
“We’re gonna make a good plan to make him admit” Jasper said.
“I’m not gonna tell him i love him again please” i whispered.
”You’re not gonna do that” Jasper said and I nodded.
“Let’s get you kidnap” Pius said and I laughed.
“How?” I asked
*”We’re gonna kidnap you and tell make a call across to Dominic telling him you’ve been kidnaped” Pius replied. *
“That is too lame man. I have a better idea” Jasper said.
“You will have to resign ” He added
“What!?” I yelled.

“What!?” I yelled.
“Yeah” Jasper said.
“Are you out of your mind? If you know what i want through before getting this Job huh. ….. you’re never gonna advice me to leave it just for one stupid love” I hissed loudly.
“Chill baby, trust me ,we have a better plan. You’re gonna resign, we’re gonna pay you your salary. Accomodation is ready already. I’m sure Dominic can’t do without you around for almost a month” Jasper said and Pius clapped.
“Bravo man, That plan is surely gonna work,Swears”
I eyed Pius and Jasper angrily
“Let’s not do this please” I pleaded
“We’re gonna do this baby. Dominic Is oh childhood bestfriend and you are his first love!” Jasper half yelled.
“But…..”
“No but!” Pius cut me short.
“Prepare a resignation letter and give him tomorrow morning when he is set for work. Once he has gone,place a conference call across I and Pius then We’re gonna make the next move” Jasper said and I shook my head.
“You need to help us Nikita to help you. Please do this for your love for him. Please” pius wore a Pleading look and I nodded my Head.
”Okay, I’m in” I said and They both breathed in,then out.

I sat on my master bed,prepared for work thinking about Nikita’s attitude towards me last night . Damn! I’ve missed I her so much. I tried talking to her but she kept giving me attitude.
Because i did not love her??

*I walked to the sitting room and picked my car key from the Shelf walking out of the house. *
“You’re not gonna eat, Sir?” I turned back as soon as I heard Nikita’s Voice.
I walked slowly towards her and stopped halfway.
“I’m not hungry ” I replied.
“B…. Okay . Should i bring your lunch to your office?” She asked,obviously concerned.
“No,I’ll be fine” I replied and turn to leave.
“Sir?”
“Sir sir sir! Can’t you just stop it!” I half yelled,getting irritated.
“What am I supposed to call you then? By the way sir. I have this for you” She replied stretching an envelop towards me.
“What’s in here?” I queried,nervously.
“You can open it sir” She replied and I looked away.
I stared at the envelop and took a glance at her.
I opened it then read out it content aloud:
“With this letter, I wish to inform you that I will be resigning from my position as your maid. I sincerely apologize what I’ve caused and what this letter may cause. I wish you success”
”What th…..! What is the meaning of this? Why did wanna resign? ” I furrowed my brow angrily.
“I’m sorry sir” She bowed a little and walked away.
“Nikita!” I yelled but she didn’t reply.
I stood still for a while and walked out slowly.
” She must be joking ” I reassured my self and drove out of the mansion.

I said across the phone to Pius and Jasper.
“Okay,Let’s meet at crescent street in 30 minutes” Jasper said and I nodded.
“Okay, Thank you”
I said and disconnected the call.
“I’m sorry Dominic. I just hope I’m doing the right thing”
I whispered and entered my room to carry my bag.
