~~AT THE HOSPITAL~~

“Good morning Jasper” Mrs Cullens greeted with a smile as she entered inside the ward room

“Hm” Jasper hummed

“How are you,,,any pains?” Mrs Cullens asked looking intently at Jasper who led down facing up

“No mum” Jasper replied

“That’s a relief,,, alright son I brought you some foods” Mrs Cullens said as she dropped what she came with on the table beside Jasper’s bed

Jasper turned his head towards her

“I have already eaten” Jasper said

“Really,,,who…”

“My wife” Jasper replied her before she can even finish her sentence

Mrs Cullens smiled so widely,,,a smile that Jasper knew of the reason behind it

“Your wife,,,I love the sound of that dear,,, I like the fact that you both are getting along well and I can’t wait to carry my grand child” Mrs Cullens said with a wink

Jasper knitted his brows up

“Grandchild?” He asked

“Yes son” Mrs Cullens said

“Mom I want to be left alone,,,the doctor said I should rest” Jasper said and turned the other side

He isn’t really in for such kind of talks now

“Okay son if you say so,,,I will come check on you in the evening,,,do you need anything?” Mrs Cullens asked

“No”Jasper replied with a low tone

“Okay,,,am leaving” Mrs Cullen’s said as she started walking towards the door

Jasper has already heaved a sigh of relief when he heard

“I can’t wait to carry my grand child,,, buckle up Jasper” Mrs Cullen’s said as she turned around towards Jasper

“Mum?” Jasper called with an annoyed tone

“Okay okay am leaving” Mrs Cullen’s said as she left

Jasper knowing that she has left turned again facing up

His mind started wandering around thinking so many things

More of his thoughts are situated on Emmett

“Why are you always on my mind elephant?” He asked himself as he heaved a frustrated sigh

He had tried so many ways to get her out of his head but he couldn’t

The worst is that they are now in good terms with each other,,, and he can’t get himself to distance from her

What sort of feelings is this?

He will always ask himself

Just then his thoughts landed on what Lulu told them

Especially that Emmett’s seed and his seed will combine together to form a nice offspring

He has laughed in his mind when Lulu said that

‘Stupid prophecy!’ he thought to himself

He was about to go into another thoughts when the door pulled open

“Mum I said I want to be l…”

“Hey dude” Eric said as he walked inside

“Hey,,, I thought is my mom” Jasper said sighing in relieve that the person isn’t his father’s wife

“What’s wrong,,,you don’t want to see me” Eric asked confused

“No,,,not that” Jasper replied

“Then what is it?” Eric asked sitting down

“Nothing serious,,, just that my mom left here some minutes ago,,,I sent her away with the excuse that I want to be alone”

“Why?”

“The woman was talking nonsensical things” Jasper replied

“And what is that?” Eric asked

“Are you here to interview me or to see me?” Jasper asked

“Both ,,, let’s start with this Part of the interview,,,dude is there something you aren’t telling me? Eric asked

“Not again Eric” Jasper said as he pinched the space between his brows

“Come on dude open up” Eric said

“Open up what?” Jasper asked with a creased brows

“That thing that is eating you up” Eric asked

“The only thing that is eating me up is how on Earth did my car’s break felled,,,such a thing has not happened before” Jasper said looking up

“But the police said that,,, through there investigations that the car lossed it’s break on its own” Eric said

Jasper chuckled lightly on Eric’s words

“What?” Eric asked

“And you believed that,,,I Jasper doesn’t believe such,,,my car was absolutely fine a day before that very day” Jasper said thinking

“Are you saying someone tampered with it’s break” Eric asked with his brows creased up

“I didn’t say so all I know is that am gonna look deep into it when I finally leaves this place,,, please help me with that wheelchair” Jasper said as he points at the wheelchair beside Eric

Eric looks at it as he push it over towards the bed

“Going to the bathroom?” Eric asked as he helped Jasper up making him to sit on the wheelchair

“Hm” Jasper hummed

“Need my help?” Eric asked

“Hm” Jasper hummed

Eric chuckled as he started pushing the wheelchair towards the bathroom

“I can’t believe this will happen to you,,,you can’t even move on your own and your women haven’t you missed them?…you won’t be able to get laid hahahaha” Eric laughed

Jasper didn’t laugh nor say anything

“That reminds me,,,Ann has been asking me of the hospital you are admitted to” Eric said

“And you told her?” Jasper asked

“Of course not” Eric replied

“Better”

“But dude why haven’t you dumped her ,,,this is unlike you” Eric said

“Am about to do just that” Jasper said

“Dude about your wife Emmett” Eric said

“What about her?” Jasper asked

“Wow wow,,, I definitely knew something is going on between you two,,, look I just addressed her as your wife and you didn’t protest against it as usual” Eric said but the man on wheelchair neither talk nor move

“Am loving this silent,,,don’t worry dude I will find out sooner or later” Eric said

“Happy finding” Jasper said

“Is my pleasure”

~~ONE WEEK LATER~~

“Give me two cups of coffee” I said to the coffee vendor at the hospital

I came to the hospital to visit Jasper

He is recovering fine and will soon be discharged

I came outside with him for him to practice walking with his croutches as instructed by the doctor

If better yet try to walk on his own

So I took a day off to assist him with that

Am at the coffee vendor to get a coffee

“Here” the coffee man said

“Thanks” I said as I collected the two cup of coffee that is steaming hot

Wow I can’t wait to get this into my stomach

I walked outside,,,my eyes landed on Jasper who was sitting so calmly on a bench with his two croutches beside him

Even though he is on a patient clothe,,,and haven’t taken good care of himself for the past one week

I can’t deny it but he is still hot and handsome

Gosh is he a vampire?!

Wait Emmett why are you thinking about all this!!

Snap out of it lady!

Snap out of it will you!

Jasper smiled as he saw me approaching

Wow why is this guy making this difficult for me

“Here” I said giving him the coffee

His cold hands touched mine,,,I looked at him and our eyes met

His eyes are so dreamy as if he wanna see through me

But why is my heart beating so damn fast!

What’s going on!

I immediately withdrawed my hands from the cup looking away while sitting down

“Thanks” he said so gently

“Hm” I hummed not looking at him

“What’s wrong?” He asked

“What?” I asked sipping on my coffee and I noticed from the corner of my eyes that he is looking at me

“You are acting strange” Jasper said

I looked at his direction and our eyes met again,,,I looked away immediately chuckling slightly

“Am not acting any strange Jasper,,,are you done with your coffee so that we will commence on our reason of been here” I said

“Are you in a hurry to Leave,,,I thought you took a day off today?” Jasper asked

“Sure,,,but I got something to do at home” I said

“Okay”

“Hm”

Few minutes later I helped him to get up from his seat,,, supporting him with his crutches

After supporting him to walk with his crutches I let go of him to walk alone

And he did that just fine

We both laughed and smiled at this achievement

So the next stage is for him to walk alone without the crutches

“Are you ready” I asked him

“Sure” he replied

I held him as we both started walking slowly,,,he wasn’t holding the crutches rather his heavy hands were on my shoulder

And my hands were snaked around his waist

This is werid but I have to do it

After walking like that for a few minutes

I let go of him to walk alone

At first his legs were shaking slightly

But after some time he stood firm

He started walking well taking one step after the other

“Wooow,,,that’s awesome” I said clapping my hands

Jasper turned his back when he heard Emmett’s voice and his eyes was met with the most beautiful woman on Earth smiling so brightly

His heart swelled up at this marvelous sight

Two hours later**

“Thanks” Jasper said opening a bottled water

“For what?” I asked

“For your helps Emmett,,am really greatful” Jasper said as he started drinking his water with his eyes glued on her

She was struggling to open her own water

Jasper smiled

“Let me help you out” Jasper said

“Hm,,, actually I did what am supposed to do” Emmett said as she gave Jasper her bottled water

On a blink of an eye Jasper opened it

“Woo,,, really!!” Emmett’s said with a widened eyes

“Women are fragile” Jasper said with a smirk

Emmett’s didn’t say anything as she gulped down her water because she is really thirsty

“Whatever” she said after drinking

~~JASPERS MANSION~~

** ONE WEEK LATER**

Emmett’s door pulled open as she came out dressed in her office wear

She was about to walk away when Jasper’s door opened

Emmett cursed inwardly

Jasper walked out from his room,,,his eyes glued on Emmett

Nobody was talking to each other

“Good morning” Emmett said looking away but didn’t get a reply from the man

She was about to take a step to leave

Just then Jasper started walking towards her with a heavy foot steps,,,his eyes were on her face

Emmett swallowed hard as she took a step back untill her back hit the wall

Jasper trapped her small figure there

His hands against the wall

Emmett’s heart started beating like drum

“Look at me Emmett” Jasper said as Emmett quietly lifted her face

Her eyes met his

“Why are you avoiding me?” Jasper asked his eyes glued on hers without moving

Emmett swallowed hard

She has been avoiding Jasper for the past few days he came back from the hospital

She is doing that because she doesn’t want to accept what her heart is saying

“Answer me EMMETT!” Jasper said with a little low and high tone

“What are you doing Jasper?,,, well I have alot going on in my mind as of recent,,,also am coupled with so much work at the office” Emmett said

“Really” Jasper said

“Really,,,and please Jasper if you will let me go I have to rush off now” EMMETT said looking at her wristwatch

“Sure” Jasper said as he untrapped her

“Thanks” Emmett said as she walked away immediately

Jasper sighed inwardly

“She didn’t eat again,,,you can’t avoid me forever elephant”

Emmett was in a deep thought while her driver drove to the office

Just then the car stopped immediately making Emmett to snap out of her numerous thoughts

“What’s wrong?” Emmett asked

“A car double crossed us” the driver said

“What do you mean” emmeth said as she looked up

What she saw send cold chill down her spine

Two men in Black alighted the car that just double crossed them

Not only that ,,,there face were covered and they had a gun

They walked towards their car as they opened the driver’s door

They pulled the man out roughly

“Lie down!” They commanded

Just then emmeth heard a gun shot

Her world immediately spined around

Is this the way she is going to die

Her door was immediately pulled open

A gun pointed at her face

Emmeth was shaking all over

“Please… please…do…don’t kill me” she begged them

“Come out?” they commanded as they pulled her out of the car

They pulled her towards their car pushing her inside

The two men entered inside too

Sitting side by side with her

They tied her hands, legs and also blinded folded her
