MY BIRTHDAY PARTY
EPISODE 21.
 
1 of the vans finally arrived and Desmond joined Victor and the 2 available hands there to start offloading while they expected others.
 
“This looks heavy, what’s in,side? The investigator asked the other guy when they went into the warehouse.
“Cant tell either but its breakable, the guy replied.
4 other vans came and the offloading continued, the investigator attempted to rest but he was shouted on immediately to keep working.
There was no chance to sneak out to meet Alfred who was just spying on them, “what is going to happen now? We need to distract this guys, Patrick said.
 
“Winifred and Stella can do this, Alfred said.
“What can Winifred do and who is Stella? Patrick asked.
“Winifred visited him today, she can call him up saying she wants to meet with him and Stella can call Victor up. We can take care of the rest, Alfred said.
“If so I have Winifred number, Patrick said.
“I’ll call up Stella then, Alfred said.
 
Its already evening and Joseph wasn’t yet back, “let’s go home, he knows where to find us okay, Winifred told Lily.
“No we have to wait for him else he’ll get mad at us, I just hope he’s safe, Lily said.
“He switched off his phone, don’t tell me we are going to sleep here because I won’t, Winifred said.
“Then you can go, I just have to wait for him, Lily said.
‘Suit yourself, Winifred said taking her bag and left.
On the way Patrick called, “hi Winifred, its Patrick, he said.
“Hi I’ve been expecting your call, how are you doing? She asked.
“I’m good, are you still at Joseph place? Patrick asked.
“How did you know about it? She asked surprised.
“No time to explain, but I’ll need you to distract him for him. Call him up and tell him you want to see him right away, just do that for us okay, Patrick said.
“His number is switched off, Winifred said.
“Please do something, Patrick said and dropped the call.
 
On the other hand Victor was seen bringing out his phone and making call, “that should be Stella, what did Winifred say? Alfred asked.
“His number is switched off, Patrick replied as they watched Victor Having difficulties on the call.
“Alright I’ll be there soon, Victor finally said and heaved going to his friends.
“Stella is sick and she needs me now, I hope you guys understand, Victor said.
“This is why I hate this shit call girlfriends, fine you can go! Desmond shouted and Joseph suddenly remembered something.
 
“Oh no, he said taking out his phone as he remembered he earlier switched it off.
He called up Lily immediately, “oh thank heavens you finally called, what’s wrong? Why are you not back home yet? Lily asked as it was past 8pm already.
“I am so sorry, can you please take a cab home? I really cant make it there now, Joseph said.
Immediately Winifred got in, “please Joseph you need to take us home, its dark outside and we are not familiar with this area. I just stepped outside now and got scared, Winifred shouted.
 
Joseph hearing her voice suddenly had a Change of heart, “I’ll be there now okay, don’t be scared, Joseph said and ended the call while Lily looked at Winifred.
“I thought you left already? Lily asked.
“You just heard when I said its dark and I’m scared, Winifred said sitting down while Lily shook her head.
 
“Guys I’ll be leaving now but I’ll be back, Joseph told them.
“What! Robert, Simeon and Desmond shouted.
“Wait you don’t understand, I left Winifred and her friend at Robert house which I have to take them home. I’ll be back soon okay, he said and hurried off while Desmond looked at the guys, “what about you, will your pregnant girlfriend deliver this night? He asked Robert.
“I wish I had, let’s get done with the stocking, Robert replied.
 
“Really, I’m taking my f-cken self home to get refreshed, after all what are we paying the guys for? They’ll get the job done okay, Desmond said taking his shirt on the car.
“Same with me, I’m so famished already and i need some cigarette to cool me down, Robert said.
“So you guys are leaving me here? Simeon asked.
“No one says you shouldn’t leave too, its just one van left, they can handle it, Desmond said.
“Okay, no one cares if this stuffs can be stolen or broken right? Simeon asked.
“Fine, then take care of it, Joseph and Victor will join you later on okay, guy I need to go, Desmond said hitting him on his shoulders and drove off with Robert.
 
“Carry on with that fast! Simeon angrily shouted at them and got into one of the offloaded van to take his rest.
“This is our chance, Alfred said and took the bottles of gin closer and whistled at the Investigator at a wire fenced place.
The investigator came nearer, must we offload everything before we act? I’m f-cking tired mhen, he said.
“We have an innocent Man here remember? Patrick said.
“This place will be locked after the offloading remember too, The investigator said.
“Okay, we’ll handle the last man left while you take care of their guy, he can’t be hurt in this, open the gate, Alfred said.
 
The door of the van suddenly opened and Simeon who dozed off was hit on the head hærd. The guy who helped with the offloading watched helplessly as he was taken out of the premises and tied on the tree with his mouth closed.
“We didn’t want to do this, but we have to, The investigator said to him and Simeon was tied beside him still unconscious.
 
The gin was poured in the warehouse while part of it was poured in the van with the goods.
The lighter was lit in the warehouse and the fire began, they ran out and did same with the van while Oliver already arrived bringing the car nearer. They wanted driving out but then the investigator remembered the guy, “they’ll kill him, he said.
They drove down to where he was tied and met Simeon already awake struggling with the ropes, they untied him and ran away with him as Simeon struggled furiously with the ropes…….
 
Joseph arrived and Lily hugged him but noticed he was sweating, “what were you doing? Lily asked.
“Some work, no time to explain because i have to get back there now, let’s go, Joseph said.
“Just like that? I mean won’t you eat? Winifred asked.
“When I get back i will, I’m so sorry your first day here turned out to be like this, Joseph said.
“Its no problem, your food is on the dinning, Lily said.
“Thank you, please let’s go, Joseph said leading them out and turned off the lights…….
 
Victor arrived at Stella place and saw her perfectly fine, “I thought you said you were sick? He asked.
“What’s wrong? Is it bad i missed you and why are this sweaty? Were you running down here? Stella asked touching him.
“Look we will see later, I was so so busy when you called, Victor said taking her hands down.
“Wait, what about me? Okay fine you can go and I’m sorry for bothering you, Stella said.
“I’m so sorry, I was working can’t you see that? When I’m done i promise I’ll be with you for as long as you want, Victor said.
“Just go, I’ll be fine anyway, bye, Stella said while Victor stood helplessly..
“I can’t do that now you’re angry, he said.
“Don’t worry i understand, when you’re done let me know, she said.
“Thanks honey, see you later, he said and pecked her……..
 
They drove hitting the main road and they stopped looking at the guy, “I’m so sorry you had to be part of this, but we need to do this. Those people are monsters In our society and they deserve this and even more, i hope you understand, the investigator said.
“What ever you guys are doing, they are going to find me because I’ll be the suspect here, he shakily said.
“Will you stay with us till this is over? We promise we won’t hurt you, Alfred said and he nodded.
“Do you have any relations they know? Oliver asked.
“No they don’t base here, he replied.
“That’s good, you’ll get to know us better when we arrive home, but for now don’t be afraid okay, we are friends, Oliver assured him……..
