MY BIRTHDAY PARTY
Episode 22.
 
Simeon struggled and loosened himself free, he staggered out of the bush like a violent beast and saw a car approaching.
 
Victor driving saw the smoke and wondered what is happening, he saw Simeon on the road and stopped.
“What’s going on? Victor asked confused.
“Move move, the ware house! Simeon shouted and got into the car.
 
Arriving there, the wh0le place was in flames, they hurried out of the house to the gate but no one dared to go in.
“How did this happen? What happened here? Victor shouted on Simeon..
“Stop shouting and call up the fire service, Simeon shouted back.
 
“For what? Everything is gone, look everything will be ashes before they arrive here, oh God! Victor said going down slowly.
“I’ll kill them, I swear I’ll kill them! Simeon shouted in rage and Victor called up Desmond.
 
“Hey man what’s up, Desmond picked up.
“Get back back as quick as you can, the ware house is in flames, Victor said.
“What! How did that happen? Have you called the fire service? Shit! Desmond said all at once and ended the call telling Robert about it and called up the fire service.
 
Joseph already dropped the ladies at home, driving back Desmond called, “I’m on the way, Joseph picked up.
“Do you know? Desmond asked.
“Know what? Joseph asked.
“The warehouse is on fire! Desmond shouted and ended the while while Joseph drove with full speed trying to understand what he meant by that……..
 
They all got home pleased with themselves but the strange guy was not happy at all.
“Can we know your name at least? Oliver asked.
“John, he replied.
“Wow, and I’m Johnson, the investigator said but he only nodded.
 
“Look I know how you feel but we can explain, Alfred said to him.
“Those goods cost a lot, those are people sweats, John said.
“Really, they cost me a lot too when they made me homeless! Oliver shouted while Alfred touched him.
 
“I know, but if you’ll just listen to us, you’ll know why we did this, Alfred said and they told him everything.
“Who are this men? John asked.
“Assassins, now do they deserve our sympathy? Alfred asked but he was quiet…….
 
The fire service arrived and quenched the fire, but nothing could be saved in the warehouse, the guys stood burning in anger as they watched the truck drove off leaving them with a dark house filled with ashes.
 
Desmond got into the car, while the rest followed in the different cars they came with and they drove home.
 
“I can’t believe this, can someone explain to me how this happened? Joseph asked immediately they got home.
“Fine, I know I have all the explanation to give, so this is it. After everyone left me alone to supervise the guys, I went into one of the van to rest my head only to get a hit on my head and woke up tied in the bush with one of the workers. After some time some guys came into the bush and untied him taking him with them which I had to struggle all alone to get free. When I got out of the bush i saw Victor coming, and the ware house was already gone, Simeon narrated.
 
“I don’t understand, where did Desmond and Robert go to? Joseph asked.
“Don’t you dare ask that question when you and Robert left to check on your so called girlfriends, who did you expect should stay? I left too to get refreshed so don’t blame us for this! Desmond shouted and Joseph wanted going for a fight which the guys held them.
 
“Do you have an idea what just lost us and here we are putting blames on each other, what will this do! Victor shouted.
“He has no idea about that, neither is he feeling remorseful for what happened. I excused myself and dropped them off as quickly as I could so I can meet everyone here, but what did he do? Go to get refreshed huh? Joseph shouted.
 
“If you had asked your girlfriend to pick a cab and stay put, this wouldn’t have happened either so shut up! Robert came in which brought up a lot of argument that made Robert point a gun at Joseph.
 
“Put it down will you! Simeon shouted on him.
“Now you shut up! Robert shouted on Simeon and faced Joseph.
“You’re so ungrateful after all we’ve Done for you huh? Who do you think you are anyway? Is it because we kept quiet while you carry yourself like a boss over us running after a girl who will never love you. Do you know what it means to be involved in that accident with the guy you asked me to kill for you, what if I had died too with him yet you still have the guts to say shit to me! Robert shouted while Desmond touched him on the hand keeping it down slowly.
 
“I think everyone is grieved about what just happened to us and this shouldn’t stop us from being 1 team. We shouldn’t be discussing things like this now but how we can make those guys pay for what they’ve done, so safe your bullet to blow their heads off instead, Desmond said and Robert angrily sat down while Joseph wanted going to his room.
 
“Where do you think you’re going to now? Desmond shouted on him.
“What do you think we can discuss in this our present state? I’ll suggest everyone get some rest so we can think straight tomorrow. Goodnight, Joseph said and left while the guys heaved.
 
“You said some guys got into the bush and untied that guy, did you see their faces? Desmond asked Simeon.
“No, but something is telling me the other worker has something to do with this, He replied.
“Why was the other released? And why did they bother to tie you up when they had a chance to kill you? Robert asked.
“I think they didn’t want to kill anybody but destroy the goods. I need to rest too, Simeon said getting up and left for his room too while Desmond brought out a cigarette angrily smoking.
“i hell will break loose when I’ll meet you, he said under his breathe while the guys got up going to their different rooms slowly……..
 
Stella called up the guys asking how their day went, “it was wonderful indeed. Guess what, Alfred said.
“Abeg gist me joor, Stella said.
“We destroyed their goods, you need to see the way the guys were fighting, gosh you missed, Alfred said and she burst out laughing.
“Seriously? I hope they didn’t break my boyfriend head o, she asked.
“Ah it was not easy o, but the guys are sleeping now sha if only they will be able to sleep o because I doubt, Alfred said.
“Ahh what a pity, i feel like crying, Stella said.
“My dear, all our handkerchiefs is soaked with tears, you can imagine that, Alfred said and she burst out laughing.
“So our business can carry on right? She asked.
“Absolutely, the guys has lost a lot and they won’t miss any transaction now for anything, so shoot your shot well tomorrow, Alfred said.
“Alright sir, I’ll meet with you guys tomorrow any way and congratulations on the nice job, she said.
“Thank you and there will be a big party over here so don’t miss it for anything, Oliver said.
“Sure i won’t, goodnight, Stella said.
“Goodnight dear and don’t cry too much, Alfred said.
“Durhhh, Stella said laughing and dropped the call smiling as she imagined how the guys will be feeling now…..
 
Patrick decided to call Winifred to thank her for distracting Joseph, “hey,its late, she whispered careful about Lily.
“I know, I just wanted to say thank you, it really helped us a lot, Patrick said.
“Us? Who are you working with? Winifred asked.
“The guy Oliver kept in charge, don’t worry too much okay that guy will feel our sting, Patrick said.
“What are you guys planning? She asked.
“Forget about it and keep on with the cool pretense, goodnight, Patrick said and dropped the call while Winifred breathed in worried as she remembered the face she saw on the photograph.
 
“I’m not sure, but that guy looks exactly like that guy who Duke gave a ride the night he died. I don’t have to tell you guys this until I’m sure of this, but how? Winifred asked herself thinking hærd…..
