2 disguised police men came meeting the guys at home, “how are they? Alfred asked them.
“The guys are busy swearing for you saying they will skin you alive if they get out of there. But its like they don’t know what they are into, one of the men said.
 
“They are just pained that’s all, don’t worry when the last and most important man joins them, we’ll do the proper introduction. Can we go now? Alfred asked.
“That’s why we are here, let’s go, The man said checking the time to see it was already 7pm……..
 
Lily arrived at the hall and sighted Winifred, she went closer to her, “where have you been? Winifred asked but Lily dragged her out to a corner looking at her furiously.
 
“What’s the pro………… Lily slapped her before she could land.
“How dare you do this to me? How dare you make a fool out of me? Gosh I can’t believe the girl I love so dearly, sleep on the same bed, share things together and eat in the same plate can do this to me. Do you think I would have done same to you Winifred? Have I ever hid anything from you before? I share all my secrets with you but what did you do, you made a fool out of me why Winifred! Lily shouted as Winifred stood confused not knowing where to start.
 
“Please what are you talking about? What I’ve I done? She innocently asked.
“You dare ask me that! Lily shouted at the top of voice and pushed her down. That act invited crowd and Patrick ran to them holding Lily.
“Leave me alone, I have never been so humiliated and used my wh0le life like this before, but my best friend, my sister and the one I love so dearly joined in making a fool out of me still smiling with me. What did I ever do to you Winifred! How did you leave with the thought of you and your lover deceiving me this way? Lily shouted as Patrick tried calming her down.
 
Winifred seeing Patrick understood everything as her l-ips began to shake seeing the countenance of Lily. She quickly went on her knees, “I tried to tell you, do you remember that story I said about a friend last night to you? I was talking about you but I lacked the courage to say it because you were deeply in love with Joseph. I didn’t want to hurt you, please forgive me sister, Winifred pleaded in tears.
 
“Forgive you? I doubt I will ever do that. You were scared to hurt me by telling me the truth for my own good? If I were in a burning house and you had a chance to help me out of there, will you be scared to take me out of it because I love the house so much and you feel I will get hurt huh if you do? You have no excuse because you alone should know Lily very well, Lily said.
“Please I’m so sorry! Winifred cried out.
“And I will never forgive you, gosh I so much hate you Winifred! Lily shouted and ran out while Patrick ran after her.
 
Joseph wasn’t present when the wh0le saga happened because he was busy trying to have connections with the guys.
He began to see people he saw in the hall leaving and murmuring badly, he wondered what went wrong but then he saw Patrick running after Lily. The way Lily acted and got into the cab told it all that something is wrong.
“Gosh she must have told her, Joseph said and ran back to the hall.
 
The place wasn’t as he left it as people were already leaving, ‘where’s the celebrant? He stopped a lady.
“Over there, she pointed to a corner and he went there to see Winifred on the floor in tears. Few people were there trying to console her begging her to get up but she refused.
 
“Winifred, what happened? Joseph asked and she looked at him.
She got up and began hitting him furiously, “are you happy now? You’ve taken away everyone that meant everything to me and now you’ve taken Lily too. What have I ever done to you? Just leave me alone, get out! Winifred shouted while he held her.
“What about me? Don’t I mean anything to you? If they have left and given up on you remember I am still here for you, I will never leave you Winifred, Joseph said holding her tight while she struggled with him.
 
Oliver and the guys arrived and they met with Patrick who told them what happened between Lily and Winifred.
“Where is she? Oliver asked.
“in,side, Patrick replied taking them in.
 
They got in and met Winifred struggling with Joseph as he tried forcing her for a hug. Oliver got angry and passed a blow to Joseph, “how dare you touch her bastard! Oliver shouted.
A serious fight issued between them and a gun was pointed at Joseph, “that’s enough now else I’ll use this to blow your head off, One of the cop said and Joseph smiled.
 
‘What’s the meaning of this? You brought thugs to beat me up or what? Joseph asked oliver.
“ah are you scared, isn’t it the same way you sent thugs to destroy my home and beat Patrick up? Oliver asked.
“Really, good you know what i am capable of, Joseph said.
“You are powerless now Joseph, after all we have your dear boys just in our finger tips. What can you say about that? Oliver asked smiling while Joseph face burned with anger.
 
He wanted fighting but the police Man c*cked the gun at him, “cool down Man because its finally over. We have proofs of all your dirty activities and you’ll be charged for it beginning from the 1st breakup of Winifred to the murder of Duke which you used one of your boys by name Robert to get into his cab that fateful night and tried strangling him which made him hit the pole and died at the s₱0t. I haven’t forgotten how you tried to kill me and destroyed my house and car, which you did same with Patrick here so you can have Lily for yourself and use her in getting Winifred. But above all this, you and your guys are a big threat to the society as an higher assassin, Oliver dropped and Winifred eyes bulged out.
 
“Tell me all this isn’t true, Winifred whispered looking at Joseph who was sweating profusely already.
“You killed Duke! I was right all this while cause I suspected you, what made you become this! Winifred shouted on him.
 
“You! You did Winifred. Whatever i am today is because I loved you with the wh0le of me that i didn’t know how to take it back. With all the hurts you’ve given to me, yet I couldn’t stop myself from loving you. I tried hærd to break this spell you placed on me, I tried how to take you out of my life. But the more I try is the more I fail and the more I love you. So I decided you will feel the same pain, I wanted you to taste a glimpse of it how much pain you’ve made me pass through. I know I couldn’t make you love me, but i wanted to be close to you. I wanted to see you smile at me even once, thats just much I love you. So you see i regret not doing all those things, because it was necessary, very necessary, Joseph said.
 
“That’s not true, Joseph i did love you but you were asking more than i could give to you. You were my best friend and the brother i never had, that was how special and important you were to me but you wanted more. I couldn’t give you that but that didn’t give you the right to detect my life and kill an innocent man for your own selfish reasons. I am not your problem Joseph, and i am very sorry you went this way because you couldn’t realise how special i saw you and you thought me accepting you as my boyfriend is the only way to show I loved you, then you were wrong. You’ve hurt me wrongly and badly Joseph, you did this to yourself, only you did this to yourself! Winifred shouted and broke down crying while Joseph stood with tears rolling down his cheeks.
 
The police men handcuffed him and took him away while Oliver slowly held Winifred hands, “you came back? Winifred whispered.
“I never left, I was just here to make sure this works out fast. Please don’t cry and i am so sorry your birthday turned out this way, Oliver said.
 
“Maybe my uncle was right, nothing good comes out on my birthday, Winifred said in tears.
“That’s not true, Oliver said and hugged her tight and Stella slowly left the place.
 
Johnson noticed Stella countenance and followed her to see her sniffing, “are you crying? He asked and she shook her head.
“No just that the atmosphere there is so emotional, Stella replied.
“Is that it or is there more? Johnson asked and cleaned her tears.
 
“I love Oliver, but i just have to accept the fact that he loves another, She said.
“Why did you help us then when you know all of that was for another girl? Johnson asked.
“I wanted him to be safe, I was scared he might get hurt and i wanted him to be happy. I believe this is just what love is about, but come to think of it, I don’t deserve him, Stella said and Johnson shook  his head and hugged her as she tried controlling her tears……..
