“Cheers” we(Mr Ola, Mr Segun, bella with my mom and I) all shouted as we drink our beers.

“Finally we are clear” Mr Ola said relieved.

“Yes, this past few days have been stressful” Mr Segun agreed.

“You are always complaining” Bella said while Mr Segun and Mr Ola shot her a glare.

“Sorry” she said cutely while we all laughed.

This feels good, been surrounded with people like them.

My eye met with Bella’s but she looked away.

That has been the mood since yesterday.

She went upstairs, heading to her room.

“This has to end” I mumbled and followed her.

I knocked on her door and entered.

“Sam?” she called surprised, not expecting me.

She was seated on her bed.

“Why are you avoiding me?” I asked

“It isn’t that” she said and drank her beer but a bit poured on her gown.

“Shit!” she cursed.
