CHAPTER 32

TYLER

I hurried up into our hotel room to find it empty

I then heard running water and breathed out a sigh of relief

Everything is just messed up right now. Why would she leave for so many years

And she didn’t even come back home. What if I didn’t come here

Then I wouldn’t have seen her.i wouldn’t have been sure if she’s still alive

And she still has the guts to tell me that we are even. I mean is she crazy or what. Me and her even ?

WAS I supposed to wait for her to enjoy her life for ten years. I even regret hating woman for that ten years

Only if I knew that she didn’t have any reasonable explanations for her to run away

But she’s more beautiful than before. The only thing disgusting on her body is the many tattoos

What was she even thinking when she turned her body into a drawing board

What was she even doing for a living the past ten years like geez. Do i still even have feeling for her

I face plamed myself sighing frustratedly

“Errr” Skai cleared her throat and I looked at her to find her already dressed up

“You’re back” she smiles for a few seconds before giving me a straight face

She was busy tying her hair in a messy bun and it made her look more attractive. No doubt but Maddie doesn’t stand a chance with Skai’s beauty

“Look Skai” I say lowly standing up taking slow steady steps to her

“I’m sorry for earlier” I say and she chuckles

“Sorry for what. For k-ssing someone infront of me ? Don’t worry me and you share the baby only so it’s no big deal” she shrugs

I felt hurt a lot. I mean I thought she finally fell for me. Well 85% of the reason why I k-ssed Maddie is to see Skai’s reaction and when she stormed off a part of me felt really happy cause I thought she was jealous but turns I’m really wrong

“Well she’s Kim’s mom” I say ignoring the fact that she doesn’t give a dang about the incident

“Well that’s good at least Skai will now have someone biological to call a mom”she says happily and I gro-n frustratedly k-ssing her roughly

She’s supposed to care. She’s supposed to tell me how scared she is to lose me while I assure her that everything will be alright and I’m never going to leave her side

Why is she so ignorant and stubborn. Could it be true that she doesn’t like me a little bit

She pushes me away and I smile touching her l-ips softly while breathing heavily

“Why did you do that?”

“I just missed your l-ips. They taste so sweet” I say sed-ctively and she scoffs breathing heavily trying to catch her breath

“So after k-ssing another woman you still got the nerves to k-ss me” she glares

“Well I couldn’t help it. Yours taste better” I wink and she blushes me off her way before walking to the bed and laying gently

“Whatever.Just let me sleep peacefully” she says and I smile before walking towards the bed and sleeping besides her

I inhale her cologne and suddenly get a t-rn on like geez

“You smell good” I say moving my face towards her neck

“Mr Ziegler I’ll smash your head” she says and I laugh

“Now I’m Mr Ziegler ” i say teasingly and she scoffs staring straight into my eyes

“Can i get my sleep peacefully” she sneers and I chuckle

“About the offer that day. Does it still stand” I say already creeping my hand towards her p*nt

“No so leave me alone Mr Ziegler “she says and I laugh returning my hand. This time I touch her a** running circles there and I’m glad she doesn’t push it away

“Well I’m ho-ny” I whisper softly and she shivers

I k-ss her before she could say anything. No I can’t do this anymore

I want her to be mine. I have to tell her my feelings towards her

‘What if she rejects you?’ My subconscious mind snaps and I shut my eyes tightly enjoying the slow steady k-ss. I don’t care as long as I shot my shot

I smile breaking the k-ss while breathing heavily “Skai?” I say nervously

CHAPTER 33

SKAI

“Hmmm ?” I hummed staring into his face intently. He seemed a little bit nervous

“I…

He was still trying to say when my phone suddenly rang making him keep quiet

“Hold on” I say and answer the call “Hey baby girl” I squek while she giggles

“Mommy I really miss you” she says and I laugh drily

“But it hasn’t been long” I say and I could feel her roll her eyes. It’s a habit she inhabited from me

“It’s been two weeks mommy”she says and I smile. Did she miss this much ?

“I’m joking baby girl. Mommy misses you a lot more than you could ever imagine” I say and she chuckles

“Well come back soon enough” she says and I rolled my eyes

“Don’t you wanna talk to daddy?” I ask looking at Tyler who’s busy grinning like a fool

“Nah I’m busy in my lab. I just missed your voice”she says and hangs up

“Kim” I yell like she can still hear me and laugh

“Why didn’t she wanna talk to me?” Tyler pouts cutely and I roll my eyes

“It’s obvious she doesn’t like you that much” I say and he scoffs

“She’s my daughter so I ain’t buying that” he says and I laugh wh0leheartedly

“Are you jealous ?” I ask playfully dragging his cheek

“Why would I be jealous ? I don’t even care ” he says and I chuckle

“Well what did you want to say before the phone rang” I say and his body stiffened

“Well it’s nothing important”he shrugs it off. Even though I felt like there was something important he wanted to say I just decided to shrug it off

“Okay so what are we going to….

MY voice disturbed by a ring tone. This time it was definitely his

“John ?” He says in a questioning manner “Really that’s great news so when ?” He says with a huge smile

“Tomorrow. Okay thank you” he says and hangs up before looking at me happily

“What ?”

“The penthouse issue just got fixed so we are going there tomorrow” he says and I couldn’t help the smile that crept through

“That’s great. For now I’m hungry” I pout and he laughs rubbing my baby bump gently

Tyler drove to the penthouse and this time he made sure that he had guards trailing behind us

Who knows if someone tipped of the paparazzi

We got off the car after making it past the huge gates

A wow escaped my l-ips

The penthouse is really huge and classic.it should be called a mansion

I walk to the front door with Tyler trailing behind me

I opened the door to see the girl Tyler k-ssed yesterday. The so called Maddie who’s the biological mother of Kim

She looks at me with a deep frown which i return gladly

What’s she doing here and how did she know we are here. I mean we only moved here today

TYLER

“Maddie ?” I furrow my brows while she smiles. What the heck is she doing here?

“Ty.” She says sed-ctively. I look at Skai to find her staring at Maddie with a straight face

“Oh yeah and your baby mama” she says and looks at Skai scornfully

Skai shakes her head in disagreement and pushes Maddie put of the way before walking in,side

Maddie almost fell but held herself from falling by holding tightly into me

I pushed her away from me gently and frowned

“What do you want here?” I ask looking at her in disgust

She is wearing a bum short and b-ob tube. Is this what she’s been wearing for the past 10 years

Short revealing clothes that makes her like a wh-re

She frowns and then smiles sed-ctively.”Come in Ty the both of us know that you still want me so why the pretense” she says and tries to touch my chest

“Maddie what are you doing in my penthouse ?That was the question ” I say and she shrugs

“I got my own connections and I desperately wanted to see your face ” she says biting her bottom lip

“Well I definitely do want to see your so get out” I say and she laughs sarcastically

“Come on stop playing hærd to get” she says and I drag her out frustratedly

She goes back in,side and I was forced to call my guards to come and drag her out

“You can’t just drag me out like this. I know my rights okay. Ty. Dumbheads leave me alone”she yells kicking about like a lunatic

“Wait a minute” I tell my guards and they stop still holding her tightly

She smiles like she won a medal. “What do you really want ?” I ask and she giggles sed-ctively

“You of course” she says and I roll my eyes while scoffing. Seems like she’s forgetting one important thing

“Maddie you know you have a daughter right”i ask and she smiles

“Yeah our daughter I know. But I’m sure to get het heart is by you forgiving me first” she says and I chuckle

She can never stop amusing me. “Well I forgive you and do me one favour” I say and giggles

Her giggling is starting to annoy me. I can’t believe I once fell for this girl

“Whatever you want babes” she says sed-ctively

“Stop trying to get back with me cause i don’t love you anymore. My heart is already occupied by someone more mature and beautiful than you.So if you were serious about doing whatever thing I want. I would be glad for you to come back here in 1 week.We would be going to see your daughter. That’s the only person you should desperately do anything for” I say and walk in,side signalling my guards to continue the dragging away

She kept shouting my name. I found Skai standing besides the door frame. Was she listening. I tried to k-ss her but she walked away leaving me dumbfounded

SKAI

I found my way to the balcony with the help of the house helper

I stood there staring into the sky. I feel so stupid right now

So Tyler has a woman who he likes and all this time he has been showering me with k-sses and and attention making me feel loved and all of those stuff

He knew pretty well that he didn’t like me so why did he do all of that sh*t. What is it to make me go head over heals for him so he could just rub it on my face

“So why are we staring into the sky with sad faces ?” I hear his voice from afar and chuckle

“Who’s we ?” I ask and i feel him standing besides me

“Me and you of course” he says “I don’t remember dragging you into doing this with me” I say

“Argh you are such a buzz killer but I’m still going to talk to you” he says and I roll my eyes

“So why are you looking sad ?” He asks and I ignore him still staring up. MY focus was not even on the blue sky

All that was in my mind was who? Who is the person in his heart ?

“Skai” he makes me face him and then gently drags me towards him making my baby bump to touch him

“What ?” I ask

“I want this” he says and leans in to k-ss me but I make my face to face the other way

He frowns at me “Let’s just not k-ss or do anything rom-ntic anymore cause clearly we are not a couple and we’ll never be. So let’s know out lanes” I say calmly with my heart hurting for no reason

This is why I don’t want to catch feelings. The sh*t is just too toxic asf. I walk away leaving him dumbfounded
