Amelia’s pov 🖌️
We walked up the long spiral case and finally stopped at the third floor.. she opened the second door on the right and we all walked into what looked like a living room..
It was painted in a mixture of pink, white, and lemon with two pink couches, a big TV, large glass wall, with a center glass table, a portrait of me, I think when I was three or so, and another with me, mom and dad..
With other beautiful paintings..
She opened a glass door and we walked into paradise..
“Wow” I mumbled..
“Do you like it?.. we can always change it, I’ll call the architect if you want to..” I hugged her and k-ssed her cheek..
“I love it mom” I whispered cutting her off..
She smiled and looked at Mildred.
“I’ll leave you guys for now.. I’m famished” she said
“Okay..” we both replied
“Bye” she said walking out of the room
“Bye” we both replied..
I looked at mildred and fell on the bed.. while Kylie started licking my face
“Yeww.. that’s gross” Mildred said with a funny face.
Just then my phone started ringing..

Nicole left minutes later for her shoot, saying she wasn’t coming back until next week.. Simon didn’t really like the idea, but her mind was made up…
Sky on the other hand has been trying to make breakfast.. I watched as he angrily threw the fourth meal in the waste bin..
“Dang it!.. what the heck is wrong with these ingredients!” He yelled to himself,
“Uhh.. I wish Lia was here” he muttered resting his hands on the counter,… I was standing by the doorway.. and I guess he hasn’t noticed me yet..
“Everything alright bro?” I asked walking into the kitchen..
He straightened up and forced a smile
“Yeah.. yeah, everything’s great.. just trying to fix something for breakfast..” he said raising the spatula
“Okay..?” I drawed as I picked an apple from the fridge..
“If you miss her already, then call her, she’s your fiancee after all..” I muttered
“Oh.. I.. I don’t miss her.. I mean I do, but not that much” he said washing his hands..
“Right” I said and took a bite from the apple..
“What are you still doing here anyways?.. aren’t you going to work?” He asked changing the topic..
“Oh, I’m not going, wanna rest today” I replied
“You?” I asked
“I don’t feel like” he replied
“Where’s Simon by the way?”he asked
“Upstairs.. taking his bath I guess” I replied.
“Okay..” he muttered and fondled with his phone..he tapped the screen and switched it off, then dropped it on the counter.. he looked at it again and picked it up, he tapped the screen and shook his head then dropped it back..
Jeez.. what’s wrong with Skyler?..

Skyler’s pov ✏️
I can’t just stop thinking of Lia.. gosh!. I didn’t miss her this much when she was here, why am I doing so now?…
I think I should call her, but what will I tell her.. I thought as I fondled with my phone.
Hey, just wanted to hear you voice? Nah that’s too obvious.. I dropped the phone and picked it again..
I just wanted to know if you can send me a few recipes..
Nah, not that.. I shook my head and dropped the phone..
I have to think of something.. after few minutes, I smiled and picked my phone.. I opened it and the picture of me and Lia displayed on the background, I tapped on contacts and scrolled down to Candy crush😍.. I dialed and waited nervously for her to pick..
She picked seconds later and I could hear Mildred’s voice in the background..
“Hey baby..” she started..
“Hey pumpkin.. how are you?” I asked
“I’m fine my love.. you?” She asked
“I’m okay” I replied
“So have you eaten?” She asked
“Uhh.. no, I’m actually trying to fix something” I replied..
“Hmm okay.. ” she said.
“So how is your day going?”I asked
“So far, so good” she replied..
“Okay..” I said not knowing what else to say..
“Sky.. should I come over?” She asked.
Yes!!! Asap..
“Uhh.. nope, you need to catch up with your parents.. I’ll come visit you soon though” I said
“Really? When?” She asked excitedly
“Well.. maybe next week, if I’m free” I replied..
“Hmm.. okay” she replied..
“Yeah.. so uhm, I gotta go.. talk to you later.. bye” I said
“Okay..bye, I love you” she muttered
“I love you too hun” I replied and hang up.. I dropped my phone and covered my face with my palm.. jeez this is gonna be so h-rder than I thought..
My phone buzzed, and I opened to see a message from Lia..
“I Know you don’t know how to start Sky.. that’s the few recipes I could write down” I scrolled down and saw the recipes, I smiled and k-ssed my phone..
“I love you Lia” I said as though she could hear me..
“Uhh.. I think I’m gonna go take my bath” Syd said looking at me like I’ve gone cray cray..

After breakfast I and the guys had a really really boring day, we watched movies, played video games and I went through some paperwork..
Simon has been sulking since, Syd on the other hand has been talking with Mildred on the phone.. I looked at the time and it was already 5:7pm..

I guess Sky doesn’t miss me though..
The rest of the day went on smoothly, Mildred showed me around the house and dad introduced me to few of his friends.. including Skyler’s dad..
Tyler and Tiana came over to talk business and were both happy about the news..
After dinner, I and Mildred sat in my balcony beside the pool, as she showed me pictures of our family and relatives..
“This is your Grandma Elsa and Grandpa Greg” she said pointing to the couple whose faces alone looked expensive..
“Who’s this?” I asked pointing at the picture of a young lady about moms age, she looked really familiar..
“Oh that’s your mother’s sister.. Liliana Roxanne, she lives in Paris with her family and she’s also a fashion designer” she replied..
“What!!!… Liliana Roxanne, the best fashion designer in the wh0le of Paris.. she’s my aunt?” I asked with wide eyes..
“Yes.. and this is her daughter, Annelise” she said pointing to a younger version of Liliana.
“Wow she’s pretty” I said admiring her brown eyes..
“Yeah, she’s also a model and a fashion designer.. the last Time I saw her was during last year’s designers award” she said..
“Oh.. what kind of person is she?” I asked
“She’s nice, friendly and a little wild” she replied..
“Okay..” I mumbled
“Don’t worry, you will like her, you used to be good friends with her” she added..
There was a light knock on the door and Mildred asked the person to come in, a maid walked in and bowed..
“My lady.. you have visitors” she said
“Visitors?.. where are they?” I asked
“Downstairs my Lady” she replied
“Okay.. uhm, I’ll be down in a sec” I said
“Okay my Lady” she said and bowed again, then turned to leave
“Wait” I started.. she stopped and turned to face me..
“What’s your name?” I asked with a smile..
“Cleo my Lady” she replied..
“Well Cleo.. my name is Amelia, feel free to call me that or Jane..not my lady.. okay?” I asked..
“Yes my la… Sorry Jane” she stuttered and I smiled..
“You’ll get used to it soon Cleo, anyways tell them I’ll be down in a few seconds” I said
“Okay” she bowed and walked out..
“Are you expecting someone?” Mildred asked gulping her juice..
“No.. let’s go” I said and stood up..
We walked out of the room and down the stairs.. only to see, Simon, Sydney and Skyler sitting on the couch clad in their pyjamas…

“What the .. heck are you guys doing here dressed like this?” I blurted out as we walked down the stairs..
They raised their faces and started smiling..
“My Baby.. I missed you so much” Syd said walking towards me with his hands open for a hug..
“It’s not even up to a day yet and you guys are already tired?” I asked as I withdrew from the hug..
“Where’s Nicole by the way?” I asked
“She left this morning” Simon replied yawning..
“Sky.. what’s wrong baby?.. are you sick?.. are you hungry, you look pale” Lia said sitting on his legs.. he smiled and hugged her, resting his head on her chest..
“I’m not fine Lia, I thought it was gonna be easy, but it’s not.. I miss you so much baby” he said childishly..
“Awwn.. I’m sorry pumpkin” Lia said patting his back gently..
“Is that why you guys are dressed like this?.. I mean for God sake who wears pyjamas by this time of the day.. it’s just 8:22pm for crying out loud” I said glancing at my watch..
“Besides I have never seen you guys Wearing these before, where did you get it from?.. plus can someone please give me a reasonable explanation as to why three grown men, drove all the way across town Wearing pyjamas, cause I know it’s not because you miss Lia” I added..
“Sky, Simon, Syd.. when did you guys get here?” Aunt Ellie asked walking downstairs..
“Some minutes ago, good evening aunt” Sky said..
“Good evening Mom”Simon said hugging her
“Good evening Aunt” Syd said locking our hands together..
“Evening pumpkins.. why are you guys dressed like this?” She asked looking Simon over
“It’s Simon Aunt, we made a deal earlier, that whoever wins the video game.. would tell us to do whatever he likes” Sky started..
“Unfortunately Simon won.. then he asked us to dress up in pyjamas and drive here for a sleep over” Syd concluded..
“Baby is that true?” She asked simon who was resting his head on her shoulders..
“Yes mom.. I just wanted us to have fun just like old times.. the last time we did it was when Jane was three years old.. besides the house is a little boring without the girls” he replied softly..
“And that’s why we have decided to go back to the mansion..” Syd chimed in
“The mansion?.. as in back to the Jordans estate?” I asked
“Yeah, besides mum has been without her Prince’s for three years and she definitely doesn’t like it” Sky added
“Okay.. so have you told her about it?” Ellie asked sitting beside Lia who placed her head on Ellie’s legs..
“Nah.. we want to surprise her”Syd said grinning.
“Awwn, I’m sure Beatrice is going to be so happy.. anyways you guys can have your sleep over, but on one condition” Ellie said
“What?” Simon asked..
“You have to wear something else, these PJ’s are so hilarious” she replied laughing..
“Oh thank goodness I brought clothes..” Syd said raising his bag up..
“Great.. so uhm, I guess I should leave you guys to your sleep over, baby.. I’ll talk to you tomorrow, okay?” She asked looking at Lia..
“Okay..” Lia replied sitting up..
“Goodnight baby.. I love you” she said and k-ssed Lia’s head..
“Goodnight Mom, I love you too” Lia replied with a smile..
“Goodnight pumpkins..” she said walking upstairs

After changing we walked upstairs into Lia’s room..
The living room was superb.. we walked into her main room and I covered my mouth..
“Wow..” Syd muttered
“This is heaven Lia” I said walking into her balcony which had a pool, and sparkling lights making it look so ethereal..
She chuckled and sat on the floor with Sky who was holding sparkles..
“So how do you feel?” He asked looking at her..
“Well.. I feel awesome, but a little sad though” she replied..
“Seriously Syd.. I didn’t ask you to come here because of this” I yanked at Syd who was busy making out with Mildred in the bed.. he gave me the middle finger without unlocking..
I rolled my eyes and carried Kylie..
“Sad.. why?” Sky Asked
“Well.. cause I won’t be living with you anymore” she replied..
“Uhh guys.. I’m gonna swim a little” I said as I slipped out of my shirt..

Simon dived into the pool and I turned to look at Lia.. as tears rolled down her cheeks..
“Aww.. baby, don’t cry.. don’t stain your pretty face with tears.. please” I said wiping the tears with my fingers .
“I don’t know if I can stay for a week without you Sky” she muttered..
“Of course you can, besides I’ll come visit you everyday.. I’ll call you, text you and even video chat with you..” I said pulling her into a hug..
“besides, we are getting married, soon we’ll live together..and you can have me all to yourself.. we sleep together, bath together, eat together, we’ll sing together, go on dates and do everything else together.. we just have few weeks more, we are going to start preparations next week and you can start choosing your wedding gown.. okay?” I said and she nodded, wrapping her hands around me..
“So please stop crying.. I can’t bear to see tears in your eyes Lia.. I love you .. so much” I said and k-ssed her hair
“I love you too Sky” she added..

I woke up to the sound of the alarm.. I smiled lightly without opening my eyes, but frowned when I couldn’t feel Skyler on the bed. I opened my eyes, and looked around the room, but there was no sign of Skyler.. then I started hearing sounds coming from the bathroom, I guess he’s taking his bath.. I smiled as I walked towards the door.. I was about to open it, when Mildred rushed into the room..
“Good mor..”
“Lia, you need to come downstairs now” she said cutting me off..
“Why what happened?” I asked withdrawing my hand from the door..
“Your Grandparents are here” she muttered,
