I was in my room lying down and Diego walked in,
“Hey Bro,Becky is here to see”
He said.

“Tell her am busy”
I said.

“Like Seriously Santiago! You mean busy!
He sounded being so surprised.

“Yeah,am busy I don’t need any disturbance”
I said rolling on the bed.

“What are you busy for? Santi have been observing you for some time now,you have been avoiding Becky unlike you,what’s going on your life Bro?
He asked and sat on the bed.

“Nothing and am not avoiding her,I just don’t want to see her beside we will still see each at the party”
I said.

“I have never seen you in this mood before and I know there’s something going on in your life but I don’t why you don’t want to share it to me”
He said.

“Diego stop killing your precious time on me as I said there’s nothing going on,tell Becky that I will see her tonight at the party”
I said.

“Okay as you said”
He said and went out and shut the door.

I was rolling on the bed as the thought of Reina pumped into my head.

It has been two weeks since I met Reina and I can’t take her off my mind,I always think about her day and night in fact all day and I don’t know why.

She is very talented when it comes to cooking,I love her food some much that’s why I called her “My Chef” i can’t stay a day without eating her food minus the spicy food.

I love to be around her,her company gives me joy,whenever she is around I got this feelings that I have never feel for anybody,is not a feeling to lure her in sleeping with me,the feeling is so different from what I felt for other ladies.

I don’t know why I have those feelings for her,I don’t know why whenever am thinking about her my heart will filled with joy.

“What of you done to me Reina that I can’t take you off my head, What did you do to me! I know my body is here, but my mind is always with you! and my heart always missing you, what’s going?
I said to myself staring at the rotating ceiling fan.

“Reina is very everywhere in my body,she is in my talks, in my eyes, in my feelings, in my thoughts, my breath, in my imagination, in my mind, in my memory even in my dreams,Why am I feeling this way for you Mr Chef? Why?

“I barely sleep at night always thinking about her and you know what they say,if you are unable to sleep that is because there is someone thinking of you,in our case, sure you know who is that person that misses you that’s why you can’t sleep”

“Could it be she also think about me?

“I don’t understand this feeling any more,I need someone to talk to”
I dailed Diego’s number and he picked.

📞 Are you still at home?

📞 Yeah bro”

📞 Okay,come up to my room I need to talk to you urgently”
I ended the call,five minutes later he came up to my room.

“What did you want to talk about?
He asked and sat on the bed.

“First of all have Becky gone back home?

“Yes,she left the house being so upset,I don’t understand why you are avoiding that girl,this is unlike you Santiago”
He said.

“That’s the more reason why I called you”
I said.

“Okay,am listening,tell me why you are avoiding her Bro”
He said paying serious attention to me.

I breathed and told him everything,the way I feel towards Reina.

“Bro I don’t know why I feel that way for her”
I said.

He laughed and said,
“I told you this gonna happen to you but you took it as a mere talk”

“What did you mean? What’s happening to me?
I asked confusingly.

“Love bro! Love is happening to you right now! You are in love Bro!
He sounded.

I laugbed and said,
“No Diego you don’t know what you are saying,it can’t be love,it may probably be likeness and not love,you know Reina is very good and caring for someone to like so what I feel for her is likeness and nothing more”

“Bro did your heart beats fast whenever she is around you and you feel like to hold her in your arms?
He asked.

“Yes,I always feel that way around her”

“Santiago the love is written all over you,Why is it difficult for you to believe you have fallen in love with Reina?

“Because is not true,I only like her and not love”

“Bro I must tell you the truth you are in love with Reina and stop pushing the feelings away,go to her and tell her the way you feel about her and I know she also feel the same way for you”
He said.

“I will be so happy for you if you happen to make Reina yours because she is very good and caring for someone to be with,go for her and stop hiding the feelings away from her”
He said as I stared at him thinking about what he told me.

“I want you to relax yourself and think about it you will realized that I said was nothing but the truth,I will be in my room in case you need anything”
He said and used the door.

I lied down rolling on the bed and thinking about everything he told me,I now realized that I have fallen for Reina and I made up my mind to tell her everything after the party and hoping she will feel the same way for me.

“Wow! Becky you look so beautiful tonight”
Mrs Maria said at the moment walked in.

I hugged and pecked her on the cheek,
“Thank you Mom!
I said with smiles.

“You are welcome sweetie”

“Mom what of Santiago?
I asked and sat beside her.

“He should be in his room getting ready for the party”
She answered.

“Okay,Mom have you noticed something about Santi?

“Something like what?

“He has been avoiding for some weeks now and I don’t know why,if I called him on the phone for us to meet he will give one excuse or the other and if I come to the house to see him, he will probably tell me that he is busy,Santiago have changed and he don’t want to see me anymore”
I said sadly.

“Becky dear you don’t have to be sad okay maybe Santiago has been so stressed out because of work that’s why he is behaving that way”
She said trying to cheer me up.

“I don’t think so Mom,his suddenly changed towards me may be that he is seeing someone else”
I said still sad.

She hold my hands and said,
“No! Don’t say that! Santi loves you,he can’t cheat on you and I will never allow him to do so because you are the right and perfect person meant for him,you are my daughter in law and nobody can change that okay”

I smiled and said,
“Okay Mom! Let me help out with the decoration you know it’s my fiancee’ s birthday”

“Okay my dear Becky”
She said.

I went to assist the decorator by telling them where and where to decorate the flowers and other things.

It’s already 8pm and the party has started,I have not gotten anything to wear,I have scattered my closest and I can’t find a nice something to wear for the party.

Vero walked in and I said to her,
“Thank God you are here Vero”

“What is it Sis? Look at how you scattered your clothes on the bed and floor”
She said and sat down.

“I don’t know what to wear and am fade up of finding something nice to wear”
I sounded as she giggled at me.

“What’s funny right now?
I asked feeling a little sad.

“I see someone want to look nice for her crush”
She sounded with laughs.

“Huh crush! Oh no! Mr Gilberto is not my crush,you know it’s a big party and I want to look good that’s why”
I said.

“You can keep on denying the fact you are in love with Mr Gilberto but it won’t be too long”
She said.

“Vero will you help to choose a dress,should I wear this one?
I asked showing her a blue gown.

“Nope! that gown is not good at all”
She rejected it.

I showed her five gowns with different colours and she rejected them.

“What should I wear then?
I asked and sat down on the bed feeling so tired.

“Let me get you my fine gown that will suit you and make you to look so s-xy”
She said and brought her red short gown.

“Try this,it will suit you very well”
She said giving me the dress.

“Vero this gown is short and i can’t wear it”
I said staring at the gown.

“Nothing is wrong with the gown,try it first you will see how it fits you”

I decided to try the gown,I worn it and it’s extremely short on me.

“Wow Sis! The gown fits you very well”
She said excitedly.

“Huh! This fits me,the gown is short Vero,can’t you see”
I sounded.

“Is not that short okay,you will be wearing it tonight”
She said.

“Are sure the gown didn’t make me to look like a cheap prostitute?
I asked feeling so uncomfortable with the gown.

“C’mon don’t say that! The gown look good on you and stop sounding as if the shortness is that bad,sit down let me make you up”
She said.

“Okay!
I sat down as she brought her make up kits and started making me up.

Ten minutes later,she is done wit the make up.

“Oh mine! I can’t believe is you Reina! You look so beautiful!
She said with smiles.

“Am mine?

“Check it for yourself dear Sis,how beautiful you are looking tonight”

I stood up and walked to the mirror,the make up really changed my face,I know i don’t like makeup but this one makes me to look so beautiful I can’t believe am still the one.

“Did you see how beautiful you are? If Mr Gilberto set his eyes on you I swear he will die because of your beauty”
She said.

“Thank you Sis!
I thanked her with a hug.

“You are welcome,Sis i want you to be very careful okay,you know you are going to a rich man’s birthday,I want you to be so selective of what you will eat and drink”
She said.

“Have you forgotten am your big Sis so i know how to take good care of myself”
I said.

“It doesn’t matter,junior Sis still advice the senior one so please be very careful”

“Okay,I will my sweet Vero”
I said and hugged her.

I took my shoes as she helped to sneaked out from the house.

We planned that I will sneak out since Aunt or anybody In the family won’t allow me to go out for a night party.

“Please Sis come back on time,call me once you get home”
She said.

“I will!
I hugged before leaving out and she shut the door.

I shut the down slowly to avoid waking up everyone and I sneaked back to the room,just about to lie down I started hearing Mom’s voice calling out Reina and coming to our room.
“Reina have you gone to bed,I can’t sleep,I need you to help me with the lemon tea”
She said approaching to our room.

“What am I going to do now? Mom can’t find out Reina is not at home”
I thought on what to do.

I smiled at the moment an idea pop into my head,I lined up four pillows on the bed making it to be like a human being that is lying down,I covered the pillows with duvet.

I lied down pretending to be fast asleep and waiting for Mom to come in,side the room.

“Oh mine! They are fast asleep, what am I going to do now? I got no option but to prepare the tea by myself If I want to sleep”
She said and went out.

I smiled and said,
“Mission well done!

🌷SANTIAGO🌷
The party has already started and Reina is not yet here,I hope she is still coming.

Am dying to see her,I have come to realized that I love her so much that’s why I have those feelings for her,tonight I will tell her how I feel about her.

Imagine me,Satinago Gilberto in love,I never believe I will have feelings for anybody talk more to be deeply in love with the person,I only thought that this life is all about flirt and game,I never believe in love until Reina came into the picture,she made me to know that love exit.

“Welcome Mr Pabola and Mrs Pabola”
I welcomed my guests.

“Happy birthday Mr Santiago Gilberto!
He said with me with an handshake.

“Thank you Mr Pabola!

“Happy birthday Mr Santiago Gilberto,here is your present”
She said and gave me a wrapped small box.

I hugged her and said,
“Thank you so much,make yourselves comfortable”

“It seem you are expecting someone so important because you can’t stop staring at the gate”
Mom walked to me and said.

“Yes Mom,someone so important to me”
I replied.

“If I may ask who is the person that is so important to you?
She asked and drank a sip of her drink.

“Mom you don’t know the person but you will get to see the person”

“Okay Son,let me go and welcome our guests”
She said and went out.

I keep on staring at the gate waiting to see Reina and Becky walked to me.

“Babe come let’s the take a selfie together”
She said.

“I will do that with you later but as for now go and welcome our guests and make sure the waiters serve them their orders”

“Okay Babe!
She said with a pecked on the cheek.

“Why is she not here? Could it be she is not coming again? I need to call her to find out”
I said.

As I was about to dailed her number,I saw this beautiful and gorgeous lady coming from the gate,I couldn’t believe my two eyes when I saw Reina,she looks so beautiful,my heart started beating so fast as she was coming to me with smiles.

“Happy Birthday Sir!
She said with smiles at the moment she approached to me.

“Wow! You look so different,I can’t believe you are the one Reina”
I said.

“Sir I did I look awful on the dressing?
She asked feeling somehow.

“No! You look awesomely beautiful”
I said with smiles.

“Thank you Sir!.
She said shyly.

“Go over there and sit,feel so comfortable,I will be with you okay”

“Okay Sir,
She said went out to get a sit.

I knew it she is the reason why Santi is avoiding me,he is cheating on me with that bitch,I must surely put her in her place,she thought she can mess around with my fiancee and go free,I will make sure I disgrace and embrass her in front of the guests and the press,I will make her a laughing stock to the guests.
