I went to the bed and lied down feeling the softness of the bed.

I sounded angrily.

“That’s so heartless,which of the Governor did this wicked thing?
He asked.

“The wicked Governor Parker”
I shouted.

“Governor Parker!
He sounded surprisingly.

“Yes! Governor Parker destroyed the livelihood of the people because we got no one to stand and speak for us”
I shouted.

He laughed and asked,

I was staring at him with thoughts running into my mind about what he said and how will do it before the week runs down,the ringtone of my phone called me off my thoughts.

Vero asked.

She said and hanged up the call.

“My love I need to go right away,my Aunt is asking about me”
I stood up from the bed.

“I think is the right time for me to come see your family and tell them about us and also let the press know about our relationsh¡p too and stop this hide and seek relationsh¡p”

We came downstairs,I took my bag and went out to the car.

When I dropped Reina at the bus station,I went straight to the Governor Parker’s office to put him in his place.

He said at the moment I stepped into his office.

I got myself a sit, sat down folded my legs together,placed my two hands on my jaw looking at him astonishing.

“What did I owe for this surprise visit and the strange look too?

“Mr Parker am here to put you back in your place”
I said to him being so mean.

“What did you mean Mr Gilberto?
He asked confusingly.

“Mr Parker if you know what is good for you and your campaign you better go back to that neighbourhood you destroyed their livelihood and fix it back for them”
I said.

“What nonsense are you talking about Mr Gilberto?
He shouted.

“Don’t give me that pretence I don’t need it, How could you be this wicked to people’s hope and life of living? If you still need my help to run your campaign go back to that neighbourhood give them back their life also donate money to every one of them for their properties you destroyed or you consider yourself being loose from the election,you know without my help you are already a looser and nobody to compete with the other candidates”
I shouted angrily.

“Calm down Mr Gilberto,it has not gotten to that”
He said.

“It will get to that level if you did not give the neighbourhood their livelihood back within one week in fact one week is even much,within three days”
I shouted at him.

“I will do as you said,you know I don’t want to loose this election”

I stood up and shouted,
“I give you three days to fix things back,your stupidity back and if I find out that nothing has been done consider yourself a looser of that election”

I used the door before going out,I reminded him again,

I said showing him my three fingers.

We were preparing to go to the food truck,someone from outside started shouting Uncle Rafael’ s name.

“Who could that be? Vero go and open the door”
He said.

She went to get the door as we stood to see who the person will be.

“Uncle Rafael you did to go to the market immediately”
He came in,side and said.

“What for?
Uncle Rafael asked confusingly even us were also confused.

“The Governor came with the workers to fix back the shops and he is also compensating the marketers for their losses and he even apologized to us”
He said.

We became so astonished that the Governor apologized and he is fixing back the shops.

“This is unbelievable! What touches his heart? What or Who made him to do this?
Uncle Rafael asked surprisingly.

Vero looked at me and we smiled as we remembered what Santiago told me yesterday.

“Uncle Rafael that’s what I don’t know but am happy that tbe Governor has come back to his sense, hurry up now and get your own compensation”
He said and ran out to.

“I can’t believe this! Who knows what happen to him?
Uncle Rafael sounded.

Aunt Anne said.

“Okay,You guys will be going to the food truck,I will come over when am done at the market”
He said and rushed out.

Vero dragged my cheeks softly feeling so excited,

Grandma overheard my whispering and asked.

I went to her and said,

I went at the back of the truck to give Santiago a call when I was less busy.

I laughed and followed her behind.

This time Reina will not escape again,today will be her final day of living on this earth,,I payed a truck driver a huge amount of money to cause accident with the cab she will enter,I parked my car along the road waiting for her to come out from the company,within some minutes I saw her coming out,I came down and crossed over to infrom the truck driver.

“Look at the girl,she is coming!
I said pointing at her.

“Make sure you the accident kill her immediately,I need a good result”
I said.

“Trust me Ma,I will successfully carry out the job”
He said.

I saw her approaching to the road,ran back to my car immediately to avoid her from seeing me.

She got a cab,immediately they drove out the trucker followed them while I followed behind,the road wasn’t a busy road so it will be easy for him to carry out the job.

The trucker started driving in a zigzag way hitting the cab,they noticed and shouted at him but he didn’t stop,just about to cause a serious hit on them,we started hearing the police siren coming through the another line.

“What are they doing here? Why must they passed through this road this minute, this hour”
I stared furiously.

The trucker comport himself when he saw the police men to avoid being arrested then the cab man now uses the opportunity to speed up and passed the driver.

“She escaped today of because of this damn police officers,next time i must succeed in killing her I can’t allow her to ruined my plans,she will never succeed”
I shouted angrily.

I stopped the trucker and collected the money I payed him back.

It has been two weeks now and everything has balance back to normal,the neighbourhood nowTodd’s live happily with their livelihood,Uncle Rafael went back to his shop,I stopped the food truck eatery since Santiago got me a job at the restaurant as they chef and they pay me handsomely.

Meanwhile,My family has finally met Mr Gilberto and they liked him too and even welcome him as they son.

On this faithful day,I came back early from the restaurant due the way i was feeling,I have been feeling so dizzy,sleepy and even throw up sometimes since yesterday,I don’t understand my body system any more.

“Sis you came back early what’s wrong?
She asked when I came to the room.

“Am not feeling too well”
I said,drop my bag and lied on the bed.

“No wonder your face looks so pale, When did the sickness start?
She asked and came to the bed.

“Yesterday,I don’t understand my body system any more,I have been feeling so dizzy,sleepy and even throwing up, today I throw up like two times”
I said.

“Huh! Sis don’t tell me you don’t know the signs of pregnancy?
She asked with smiles.

I asked confusingly.

“My dear sweet Sis you are pregnant,It’s written all over you”
She said being so serious.

I laughed and said,
“Vero you don’t know what you are saying”

“Okay since you don’t believe me give me money let go to the pharmacy nearby and get Oral Pregnancy Test for you”
She said still serious.

“I know you don’t know what you are saying but to prove you wrong,take money from my bag and get the Oral Pregnancy Test”
I said.

She went to my bag and collect the money,
“No need of asking you who the father is because I already know the baby is Mr Gilberto’s”
She said with smiles and used the door.

“Could it be true that am pregnant? The signs am experiencing now are signs of pregnancy that means it will actually be true,Well let me wait first and see what the test result will say”
I thought being little worried about my condition.

Twenty minutes later,Vero came back with the Oral Test,
“Here it is,you know how to use it right?
She asked and gave it to me.

“Of course!
I stood up from the bed and went to the bathroom.

“My ear are itching to hear it’s positive”
She sounded.

Few minutes later,I came out from the bathroom,
“You look sad what did the result say?
She asked and I kept mute on her.

She collected the Oral Test from me,
“It’s positive! I knew it will be! I will soon be an Aunt”
She shouted rejocing.

“Sis why are you sad? You are not happy about the new or don’t you want to be a mother yet?
She said.

“Not that I don’t want to be a mother”
I sounded and sat on the bed.

“Then what is it Sis?
She asked and sat beside me.

“Am happy that will soon be a mother but the problem is that what will be Santiago’s reaction? Will he accept the child or do the unthinkable”
I said being so worried.

She laughed and said,
“Sis you are funny,What did you mean by how Mr Gilberto will react? He loves you and he will overwhelmed when he hear the news besides are you not the one that told me that he took you to his mansion house and told you it will be his wife’s house and even showed you the kids room,What did that signify to you?

“It’s simply means that he love genuinely loves you and he want you to be his wife that’s why he showed you the kids room so please stop disturbing yourself over nonsense, What you have to do now is to go and give him the good news”
She said.

I smiled and said,
“Vero now I know you a fully gown up adult,he will be extremely happy when he hear the news”

“Now what are you still waiting for? Go and tell him right away”

“That’s where am going right away”
I said and hugged her.

“Am going to be an Aunt!
She rejoiced and i left the house.

I went to Santiago’s house,the security man let me in,I met the mother outside.

“Good day Ma!
I greeted expecting her insults.

“What are you doing here you gold digger? Have I not warned you several times to stop coming to this house and stay away from my son?
She shouted.

“I know Ma but am here to tell him something important”
I said.

“Take your disgusting body out of my house before I will come the security to throw you out like a trash you are”
She shouted.

“Ma i will not leave until I see Santiago”
I shouted.

“Where are you Santiago? I want to see you”
I shouted calling out his name.

“Security come and take this mad dog away from this house”
She shouted at the security.

The man came and wanted to grab my hand,I threw his hand away.

“I will not leave here until I see Santiago! Santiago! Santiago!
I shouted.

“I said leave my house!
She shouted and pushes me and I fell down.

I was in my room sleeping and the noises form outside and the shouting of my name waked me up.

“That’s Reina’s voice”
I stood up and down immediately.

When came outside I saw Reina lying on the floor unconscious,I rushed to her.

“Mother what have you done to her?
I shouted.

“Reina can you hear me?
I tried to wake her up but it seems she fainted or so,I have to rush her to the hospital immediately,I carried her.

“Mother if anything happen to her I won’t forgive you,Mark my word I won’t forgive you”
I shouted and took her in,side the car and drove to the hospital.

When we got to the hospital the nurses came and took her to the emergency room,I waited for almost thirty minutes before the doctor came out.

“Mr Gilberto see me in your office”
He said to me.

I followed him behind to his office,got a sit and sat down.

“Mr Gilberto are you not aware that your girlfriend is two weeks pregnant and she don’t need stress in her condition”
He said.

“Am not aware Doctor!
I said being so surprised about the news.

“Your girlfriend is two weeks pregnant and she fainted due to stress,her condition don’t need anything that will stress her and the baby”
He said.

“Okay Doctor,can I go and see him noe?
I asked.

“Yes,the nurse will direct you to her room”
He said.

The nurse directed me to her room,I went in,side and met her lying down,I hugged her feeling so excited.

“My love am so happy that I will soon be a father!
I shouted rejoicing.

“But why didn’t you tell me about it?

“My love I found out today and came to tell you before your mother approached me”
She said.

“My love am so happy for this great news,am going to be a father and my happiness won’t be complete without asking you to be my wife,please my love marry me and make me the happiest man on earth”
I knelt down presenting the ring to her with my heart overwhelmed with happiness.
